Yeah. I'm just trying to make sure I know what he's doing. Because I don't. As I read it over again, I think he is actually trying to find a new base location...?

Not that I know of. I know that per UNSC Perspective, Sector 2 - the humans are trying to set up "Motor pools, and other base necessities" in the open areas opposite the bridge. The problem with that is there is heavy Covenant presence there.

Okay, I’m a little lost. I’m been a bit distracted recently, can someone tell me if Nikon’s grab for the antenna has been granted and what’s the status of Sgt. Hallam and his team, I know they’re in a shadow as Reilly is with them but short of that I’m at a loss! Sorry guys and girls!

Yeah you just have to make sure what you are doing is clarified in your posts, and make sure anything you do such as finding a new base is clarified with the higher ranked people (I.E. elando). I appreciate the fact you are so willing to post actually-we love active members around here. It is less that and more everyone is just a wee confused. SX was just kidding, that was for teh laughs

Agreed. Don't worry to much about it, I was just lost is all. I wasn't sure if we were going after the same target or if you were going on a separate mission.
Remember, RPing isn't just the story of your character. It's the interactions your characters have. For instance, Carson was expecting to go on the SPARTAN pick up mission. He was chosen for a completely different one. He couldn't have really controlled that.
It's one of the things that I like about RPing. When you just write a story, no matter how clever you write it, there are certain character barriers you can't cross....Simply because you are responsible for developing all the characters and events. In a sense, it's more of an literary illustration of an event or person....Where as, and RP which has multiple different minds effecting different parts - in different ways really tells a story.
There's quite a few of us regular posters in this RP....I might take a completely different approach than Prezident, or Elando, or Tramis just simply because I may look at a situation in a different way.
For instance, in Story Arc 1 the human ship was being charged by infantry. My characters used the manual gunners stations to turn the point defense cannons on the charging infantry. Effectively neutralizing their advance. I don't know if anyone else even had that thought, I have to say, I'm surprised I thought of it. Who knows, maybe your character would have detonated a support beam of the ship, making the place the Covenant were coming in totally blocked off....?
That's what makes it interesting, ya know? So, I hope you do continue to post MonkeyJoe because it makes the RP that much more enjoyable. I would ask though, since you know ol' Caster isn't a good abstract thinker, to really clarify what's happening. You're a good RPer, and everyone can always improve something.....Sometimes it's hard to see what yourself.
For instance, I have read posts that make perfect sense to me, then re-read it and been like...."No ones gonna know what I'm talking about". Just retouch the post to make it more understandable. Write it as though, the intended audience has no clue about it and you usually can't go wrong.

well I see what ya mean about the structure and base thing so I got rid of those parts instead I am just heading to to a maintenance area for all the wraiths that are in sector 2. If that is alright with everyone else.

Just so I can help clarify what you mean by maintenance area are you referring to like a Covenant motor pool?

If by motor pool you mean a form of vehicle repair bay. minus the bay. then yes.

Hey! You've exploited a weakness in Zuka's strategy! I didn't even think of that. These wraiths were field deployed. There is no motor pool or maintenance area placed anywhere in Sector 2 at the moment. Which means, any destroyed or badly damaged tanks will either be out of commission or engineers will have to be dispatched to each area to repair them.

If you can find a motor-pool to attack. I would believe there would be one in Sector 1, but you probably wouldn't make it to deep into that area before a shit-storm came down on you. I normally don't do this but I'll give you something to think about. The AA wraiths are hampering air operations throughout Sector 2.....The AA wraiths, while supported by infantry are not supported by mortar wraiths..... A mechanized unit with a shit-ton of luck could stand a chance at disabling most of the AA wraiths. AA wraiths can track air power very, very well....They however, have a very hard time hitting ground targets.....So, if a human could disable or destroy enough of them.....Then it would force the air commander to reposition his AA wraiths for even airspace cover...However, with the shortened number, the effective range would be decreased proportionally to the damage done. If it was shortened enough, air power could move in and removed the Mortar wraiths, which means that the bridge leading to the human base would be open for business.... So, there's one weakness in the strategy.....However, you think I would give you that and not have at least 'some' kind of contingency plan? Take that information into consideration when finding out what to do....Who knows what Zuka might have up his....armor....

As far as Sector 2 goes, Gato. Covenant defenses are set up throughout the Tundra. Echo squad was sent to investigate the Forerunner site to the North-West, so far they have arrived but pretty far out. They're using teamwork to try and draw Captain Rictus' guys out and take them out from long range. Meanwhile, MonkeyJoe's guys are assaulting the AA wraiths from the North-North-West (I think) which is effectively, behind their line.

Well I am attempting to wipe out those AA wraiths to allow some air support and free fly zones. That could get us a plenty of much needed weapons ammo and vehicles.
