I feel like all the Covenant under my command are pants-on-head-retarded. How do you watch a parachute come down, in the middle of a tank battalion, with infantry support (including special operations) heavy air patrols and the like.....And, still....Still.....allow the guy to get away?
Are these Covenant the cheap knock-offs from 1-800-HENCHMEN?
It's okay though, even though we lost six tanks.....It's all good, cause we got one of their snipers.
XD

XD well as long they have a reasonably good explanation then I dont mind. maybe I could even the odds by just randomly shoop da wooping the hell out of some humans...> but I am trying to post its just there isnt much to say besides I am just reinforcing teh base with dem reinforcements. Still though, try to avoid godmodding, if caster would call it that.

Half of Echo squad with Herons is still coming towards you guys. Carson, Renters, and Dennison are making way on foot, but they are going to have an extended response.

That was either the dumbest or smartest move I have ever made. Ever! In all of halo history! I mean now I only have six guys not counting Dave who is still out of it. Man I really need to get my guys some frigging rest at the base. Why can't those AA wraiths just die

He was, but last story arc he got it it completely obliterated. He's now in Paul Nikon's pelican.....Hopefully he can hold on to that one.
Conner Herons:
I had placed your character with Samson and Renault in the hog heading south behind Kabruski and MonkeyJoe. Conner was on the chain-gun. I wanted to make sure your character was safe if you wouldn't be posting for a while.

Clarification:
The Seraphs are going after the hogs....The banshees are going after the pelicans.
Secondly, AA has repositioned in a wide semi-circle out south-ward from the Forerunner Structure. It has Captain Rictus' squad plus all the extra infantry. Plus two mortar wraiths, several turrets, shadows, and ghosts.
Not to mention, heading back to where you were would cause you to go through the entire mechanized infantry that had pursued as opposed to retreated with the AA wraiths. Those units following you are Spec. Ops.
Furthermore, turning around and engaging the AA would have you on a head on vector (they would see you coming) unless you went high on the mountains to the west and attacked down slope. Also, you would be leaving the Pelicans (which are waiting to evac your ground team, which has sustained heavy causalities) waiting for nothing.
Would you, as a Combat Non-comm, really order a head on attack through pursuing forces, when your team is barely combat operational?

Ah, well I'm gonna say that they're still operational. Dunno what exactly could be damaged on a Shadow, but we'll say it got peppered or something from those wraiths. Also Captain Nikon is now back in the fight, just waiting for a moment to have him pop into the action. Might be to have a go at Dave and his shoddy flying HA HA HA!

Most friendly forces would likely be in Alpha Base in sector 2. Although, if you were super inclined you could start in an unknown location in any sector - stating how your team arrived where they are.
