Yeah... About that...
So, obviously we have slowed way down since round one. It was like pulling teeth to get that last round done, but we did and it was awesome.
Now however since the only remaining contestants aren't posting for various personal reasons, the OCT is unable to progress. I'll admit I am saddened by the turn of events, but what I want to focus on is what to do going forward.
I have two ideas. You guys can go ahead and weigh in on the options, or pose one of your own if you have any better ideas.
Option one is just end it. Give the win to 999 since he's the only one to post in round two, and have him write a conclusion that sums up the story.
Option two is leave the OCT open indefinitly, in the hopes that the others post sometime in the future. Even if it takes months, it would be impressive to say "even though it took so long, we didn't let it die". Provided, of course, the contestants in question have any care to post someday or not.
That's all I got. Thoughts?

I'm not much of a fan of the second option, and I wouldn't mind the first one. Really, I just want to get this over already.

Been a week, so with no further OCT posts in that time or other endgame suggestions, we go with option one. Spartan 999 has officially won the Continuum Aegis OCT as of now. (sorry, I'm on my phone so thats about as fancy as the announcement gets). 999, you have the freedom to write a conclusion for the story and post that at your conveniance. Sorry it wasn't more of a grand finale, but based on your dedication to making two characters and the quality and spirit of your posts, I say you deserve the win.

This lost motivation and I don't really know why. For me I became disconnected with the character I created, so it was hard to write a post. It's unfortunate that it died, but 999 did deserve the win as his posts had a lot of thought into them. It was a good idea, SC. Maybe we all lack that imagination you hoped we had. lol
