So the basic intro into this thread is that basically back in the day, When We were doing split Main Missions, One of the sections was an experimental Section of ONI that was super secret. Almost more secret than the Spartan III project. We based this RP off of Ghost in the Shell Including the Cybernetic enhancements, Camoflauge units, and other abilities. We were basically, Spartan III's on crack. Hyper Lethal and Efficient. Essentially, the perfect blend of Spartan II and III. As Jakob would call us... Snowflakes. But. Meh.
So what Llau and I thought, is why not have some fun.
Ok, so now that that's out of the way. Here is the Mission Paramaters.
Mission: Disable Slipspace drive on Covenant cruiser so Admiral Cho can send a boarding party onto the ship. There are three objectives to complete.
A) Reach Engineering B) Disable security around drive C) Destroy SS drive.
You will be infiltrating by hijacking a Covenant dropship on the planet surface the fleet is engaged in.We will be dropping you down in standard ODST Pods. There will be a standard compliment of bad guys for you to enj... I mean neutralise. Your loadout will be your choice, remembering not to go in too heavy.
You will signal via a small tracking device to start the infiltration. Good luck.

Agent Dave Kabruski UNSC Vernacular ODST Pod Bay
After recieving his orders, David had proceeded to the deck in preparation for his upcoming mission. It wasn't going to be an easy one and he knew that there was a low chance of success, even with their augmentations, Even with their camoflauge. It was dicey. But they had a reputation for pulling off dicey missions that not even Spartans were considered for, and that was a short list indeed.
Walking over to the lockers, He stripped off his shirt and his pants, Admiring his phsyique in the mirror. He wasn't the most perfect specimen of human out there by any stretch, the flesh of his forearms were covered in plasma burn scars, after being shot at by two elites. Thankfully he was saved by his team-mate. The person who had inducted him into the program ironically.
Looking down at his legs, He grimaced at the mess they were. Blotches of skin were marred with scars, some from covenant, others from the procedures and implants that they had fitted him with. Gingerly, he massaged his calf on his left leg. Sometimes it still ached. Even now, 2 years after the process. He had never quite gotten used to the enhanced speed and agility this had afforded him.
After he was done looking in the mirror, He then pulled his "Worksuit" out of the duffle bag provided by the ONI spooks onboard. It was an experimental infiltration suit. It offered true cloaking capabilities, but the problem was, move too much and it started to fail. Stealth was their biggest asset. And they couldn't afford to have it fail in the field. So David had always made sure he was extra careful.
Putting on the suit, David then shrugged his shoulders, and attempted to loosen up his knotted muscles. They always got like this before a mission. Soon he would be on the ground, and he would be in his element. Fast, silent and deadly.
Grabbing two magnums, He holistered them in the special holders in his suit. He then grabbed an MA5K, a cut down version of the MA5B and stuck it into the holder in the ODST Pod. Next he grabbed two frag grenades and placed them in the calf holders. an odd place for grenades but it worked best for him. He then finally pocketed 5 clips for the MA5K, 10 clips for the magnums and stowed them in special holders on his chest piece.
Finally, He activated the suits system and watched as his body and head dissapeared. He was invisible. Even to himself. It made for a very disconcerting first few days of training, especially in the stealth aspect. But he had gotten used to the sensation. De-activating the suit, He then went and had a seat on the bench. He needed to collect his thoughts.

Agent Alexander Bishop UNSC Vernacular ODST Pod Bay One could say that Alex was the first subject ONI tested on when he was a child in 2531. Like the SPARTANS, he was taken from his bed at night by ONI agents when he was 7. Instead of becoming a SPARTAN, ONI decided to put the boy into a different program, which became known as Shadownet. They operated on him, giving him cybernetic enhancements and other abilities, and trained him to be hyper lethal, quick, and agile - just like those who would soon follow suit. Unlike the SPARTAN program, ONI experimented on older people and realized that they can have successful operations with adults older than twenty-years-old, but no older than thirty; although, it also depended on their physiology and DNA. Most of the adults ended up dying during the procedures. Soon, they started to look for more, and during one such mission as Shadownet's reputation grew, Alex managed to find one such suitable subject in Dave Kabruski when he saved him, and inducted him into the program. Being slightly older than Dave, Alex treated him as a younger brother, and not just a team-mate he was paired up with on missions. He walked into the Pod Bay the ODST's used to deploy, holding a large bag with the rest of his suit inside since he was already wearing the pants, boots, gloves, and the under-suit that kept tabs on his vitals. He noticed Dave sitting on the bench, seemingly deep and thought, and looked as though he didn't hear him enter. He walked up to stand in front of him, dropped the bag to the floor to get his attention. "Hey," Alex crossed his arms in front of him, and tilted his head a little while he stared at him. "What are you thinking, man? The mission we're about to go on, or wondering if the soreness in your implants will go away at all?" He paused, and decided to reassure him about the implants, "It's going to take a while for the pain to go away, but it's a good thing. Your body is just healing." He shrugged his shoulders. "Other people's bodies unfortunately rejected the implants...wasn't pretty from what I've heard. So...consider yourself lucky." While he waited for Dave to answer his question on what he was thinking, he knelt down and unzipped the bag to pull out the torso part of his suit to put it on as he stood back up. Once he was fully dressed in the experimental suit, he tested the suit's camouflage system and went invisible for several moments before deactivating it to go over to gather the weapons he will be using; a serrated combat knife with a black-coated blade so it wouldn't shine in the light, a magnum and a SMG - both with suppressor attachments, and readied his pod he will be using before heading back over to Dave.

Glancing at Alexander, David made a wry face. "I know. I saw the reports. The spooks forget. I have good eyesight now. I saw what happened. Doesn't make it any less painful." he replied, rubbing his calf again. David wasn't in the mood to have his woes compared against others. He knew how lucky he was, He didn't need to be reminded. He had lost good friends from the process.
Standing back up, David headed back over to the weapons locker and digged out two silencers for his magnum and a silencer for the MA5K. Following Alexanders lead, he realised that even on the ground in the thick of battle, silenced would probably be their best chance. Returning to his pod, he attached the silencers and then replaced the weapons in their designated place. Grenades would be a last option. Then again, if he needed to use a grenade, His chances were shit anyways.
Looking back at Alexander, David gave a thumbs up. He was as ready as he could be, considering.
"Ready for some fun?" He asked sarcastically.

He patted him on the shoulder and headed over to his drop pod to place his weapons inside. The only thing he couldn't understand was the loss of good friends like David was experiencing. He never really had any friends, since he was a lone wolf until now. Though, it didn't mean he didn't care. He wasn't that cold. "Ready for some fun?" "Are you friggin' kidding me?" He was just as sarcastic with his response as he entered the drop pod and sat down. "This is going to be a party, with cake, and everyone is invited."

Grinning, David slammed the button his ODST pod and watched as the hatch slowly hissed shut. Once sealed, the pod was vacuum proof and ready to go. The downside was, it could possibly turn into a coffin, if the chutes failed or it was blown out of the sky. Not something David particularly wanted to think about. Cybernetic-ally enhanced as he was, He was still human. He would succumb to vacuum and other injuries just the same.
Switching to private comm, He opened a channel to Bishop. "Ready over there?"

Agent Alexander Bishop UNSC Vernacular ODST Pod Bay "Ready over there?"
Alex followed suit, closing the hatch to his own pod, and sighed as he heard it hissed. The one thing he didn't enjoy was getting into these drop pods. There was always a chance something would go wrong with the pod before they even made contact with the ground. Burned up, blown up, landing somewhere a little too near the enemy, and so on. He'd rather fly in via a pelican, even if those were bigger targets, than being in here. No matter, he sucked it up, and did it anyway. "I'm ready to not be turned into barbecue in this thing or anything else for that matter, if that's what you mean..." He chuckled lightly, "But yeah, I'm ready. Let's do this." He then asked, "And you?" The drop pod was soon lifted up and brought over to the bay doors that were opening up to reveal the planet below them where a fierce battle between the UNSC and the Covenant Forces was already underway.

Agent Dave Kabruski UNSC Vernacular ODST Pod Bay "Well, My cornholes nice and tight. So nothings gettin out. Other than that, Im ready to go and kill some Covenant." David replied. "Stand by to drop" he added.
Looking out the small port for a window, He watched and felt as his pod was lifted into the air and locked into place over the opening bay doors. He felt a small flutter of excitement. The usual tremors that went through him before a mission. It flooded his being with the precise cocktail of hormones that most soldiers sought.
Then, suddenly a moment of free fall and all of a sudden he was a bullet hurtling down towards the planet.
"HOOLLLYYY SHIT!" yelled David, more for the thrill than the fear.

Agent Alexander Bishop UNSC Vernacular ODST Pod Bay Alex laughed, shaking his head in amusement. "Yeah, same here; then again, I might throw up since I ate some cookies..." He trailed off, joking about eating anything before he arrived into the ODST pod bay. He clenched his hands tightly as the countdown before the pods were released started, and he felt the rush of adrenaline coursing throughout his body. His eyelids went wide as the countdown ended, and the pod was released. There was a moment of free-falling, and his muscles tightened as he could feel his stomach turning into a tight knot. It felt like his stomach was moving up his throat, but he kept it down. "Uggh, shit!" He never liked the feeling of free-falling, no matter how many times he used one of these pods to get somewhere below.
"Whoa! Oh shit!" He breathed, cringing, as his pod rushed toward the planet below so fast that it was starting to get so uncomfortably hot inside. "Holy shit, I hate when it gets so friggin' hot in here..."
He groaned, and then silently prayed his pod wouldn't malfunction somehow and burn him up as they entered the planet's atmosphere. The pod's computer eventually started to slow it down, and then minutes later, the pod landed into the LZ - although, it was slightly off course, but he didn't mind. He sat there for a moment or two, catching his breath that he ended up holding until the ride was finished. He then punched the buttons all around the hatch, and watched as it blew open. He stepped out with his handgun aimed as he cautiously looked around his surroundings before looking back into the pod to gather the rest of his weapons and equipment he'll be needing for this mission.
"You, Dave," he asked, "What's your status?"

Agent Dave Kabruski On Ground OP - Looking for ship Planet Surface
Finishing off a Jackal with a suppressed burst from his MA5K, David swept his rifle over the area before replying to Alex's query. "Yea, Im fine. Ran into a couple of stragglers."
Closing off the channel, David then slung his rifle and activated his Camoflauge. No need to talk out in person when he didn't have to. Only thing was, He could only move at a regular walking speed, lest the active camoflauge over-taxed its pattern buffers and sputtered out. He could ill afford malfunctioning equipment.
Checking his HUD, David saw that he was only a few hundred meters to Alex's left. So he chose to meet up with him. Slowly, David pushed through the treeline of the area he was in and hit his radio again.
"Friendly coming up on left. Whats your status."
