The Red vs. Blue RPG

The RvB RPG I had going last year was fun, but it peetered out, people left and it eventually died. Not to say such a fate won't befall this one either, but may as well try and have a few pages of fun. Alright, this is the deal:

- Base, I'm thinking Valhalla. 

- No Freelancers, just no. Maybe, MAYBE later, but for now this is just an RP about a bunch of dipshits and schmucks dicking around with firearms and power armor. Sounds fun? 

- No OCs. No. No. No, and no.

- There is no plotline, I'd rather plotlines just develop out of the chaos that would result from an RvB scenario, like the early seasons. Guys screw around and consequences ensue. This is just two teams of simulation troopers, a red team and a blue team, just doing stuff.

- That said, don't go overboard on whipping up a plot. As in, no pulling out a boatload of Elites out of nowhere, keep it roughly in plausibility bounds, nothing really spectacularly over the top. 

- Anyone who wants to join in at some point after the RPs been going for awhile, just PM me and we'll arrange you flying as a new guy. 

- There can be one 'leader' per-team. Just PM me if you want to lead sucky red team/blue team.

Appearance: Navy Blue GEN2 simulation armor
Main Weapon: SAW

Background: Murphy started out as a fairly average person who enlisted with the Marines. During basic training, a rogue fragmentation grenade set off a chain explosion in the base, devastating it and costing hundreds of millions of credits damage. He was mistakenly blamed for the incident.

After this, Project Freelancer decided that he would make a good addition to their simulation trooper program and brought him in.

Background: Born on earth, Allie joined the marines, she was destined to be a great solider, yet she was assigned to lead a couple of dumbasses  well trained men in the fight against the rebellious Red team, for reasons she has yet to learn.

Age:  25

Team:  Red

Appearance:  Dark red armour.

Background:  Role' s father had been ODST.  For one mission that is.  Having a panic attack on the drop didn't help, and when he somehow survived the drop to planetside he passed out when the pod' s hatch opened.  Determined to beat that, Role set out to be an ODST.  He never made it passed basic marine training.  IQ issues and a tendency to fall asleep in a critical, or any moment set him back.  Realizing he would fail everywhere, the UNSC decided to put him with people of his own skill level.  Which is none.

Appearance: Red-Orange (That's a thing, right?)

Background: Growing up, Barrington always wanted to be a marine, the glorious tough-guys of the UNSC. But after basic, it was clear he had little skill. He was incompetent with anything other than an Assault Rifle, and he had the hand eye coordination of a dead bunny. On his first mission, his fireteam got into a close encounter with a group of Grunts led by an Elite. The fireteam leader's apparent 'Be quiet' was not headed, as Barrington proceeded to yell back, "You say something boss?"  Getting his whole team slaughtered. He survived by hiding behind a rock.

He was given a second chance surprisingly. In his second fireteam, they were working in a tight city. The second the opposition was seen, and the leader told him to 'open fire' with his shotgun, Barry knew he had a chance. If only he had it loaded.  A large *Click* was heard, and  only 3 of the 5 in the team made it out. That was when it was decided that he could not be put alongside actual soldiers in combat.

Appearance: Neon Red
Main Weapon: Battle Rifle

Background Info: Arby was quite the fun child in his youth. He constantly did stupid things such as engaging combat with a Rhino in a High School trip to Africa, jumping off of a bridge for the highway in middle school, and standing in the middle of a busy street while dancing. Needless to say, the luck that Arby for some reason possesses is amazing. He comes out of the most inexpicable situations unfazed and ready for more.

Besides spiders.

Arby hates spiders.

NAME: Jonathan L. Fisher
AGE: 24
TEAM: Blue
APPEARANCE: Standard blue

BIO: Fisher joined the marines because he honestly, honestly thought he was ordering 30 seasons of 'Doctor Who 2' online. Also he was incredibly drunk and didn't realize that there was no such thing as 'Doctor Who 2'. So he got signed up shoved through training. After his fifth still was uncovered by his drill sergeant, he'd already had five weeks training and accidentally caused thirty thousand credits worth of damage. In order for him to not be a total waste of government spending, they assigned him to the blue-team base on Valhalla, where he continues to make bathtub gin to this day.



Now let's get this can in gear.

Apperiance: Blueish-purple (like Indigo)

Background: Something half-way approching competent, people wonder why Matt is a sim troop. Until they see him in battle.

He has three battle modes.

1. Run screaming away from the enemy.
2. Run screaming toward the enemy, while firing at maximum fire rate.
3. Go apeshit crazy and shoot everyone, even teammates.

It's usually #1 or #3....

As a result, he got stuck on to Blue Team for his poor combat decisions.
