I have been toying with an idea for quite some time and have finally decided to put it out there.
Alright, several people are ripped from their various realities, varying from modern earth, to WWII France, to even a weird earth where fish evolved faster and smarter and are now the dominant species. They find themselves on a stage, surrounded by billions of people, of different realities as well, all of which have come to watch the show. They have been taken by a interdimensional TV show called The Epic, a artificially made adventure, forced upon the team. They must battle their way through three stages and a final 'Epic' stage before they earn their fabulous prizes, freedom among them.
This is going to be like SuckerPunch with wacky monsters, bad ass levels and other crazy things. This is really just for fun and being a bad ass, not a super cereal deal.
The only thing I ask is that you don't use personas and don't make your character something stupidly overpowered. If I get enough people interested I will post a profile sheet.

Sounds potentialy interesting, depending on what kind of gameplay rules will be implemented.

The rules are really lax, to be honest. IF I had to describe this idea it would be ego inducing pointless blood shedding bad assery. Its going to be the enjoyment you get out of watching an obvious action film. Explosions, death, sword fights over lava pits, giant spiders with laser eyes, stuff like that.

Maybe "rules" was a poor word choice. "Structure" would best describe what I was getting at. I tend to prefer RPs that have direction and at least some GM guidance, rather then completely freeform do-anything-you-want games. But either way, I watched some Sucker Punch clips on youtube and not only do I want to see the full movie now cuz it looks fun and awesome, but I also think I have a good feel for the kind of atmosphere you're going for. So yeah, I think I want in too. |

I see what you did there. Also, SC, there is a overlying plot and there will be 'GM' leading, as well as some fun ass curveballs. Seeing as at the moment we have six interested people, I propose two ideas. A. We combine you all into one group and I will give you larger battle scenes -OR- B. We split you into two teams and have a contest! |

Two teams that go into one team, or vice versa. Unless you mean they're fighting and killing each other if the former is the case...

Each option has potential for fun ideas. I'm fine with either, but I think you can do a lot of creative things with B (contest between two teams). So that one has my vote.

I say we compete in a type thing where we not only fight each other, but also fight other creatures and hazards.
Sword fights or lava pits sounds pretty damn badass by the way.

The idea for the two teams would be sort of lateral campaigns. Each team would be dropped into similar, if not the same, situations and have to work together. Though the idea for two teams seems to be winning, I think we will do that. I am going to make the character sheets.
