This is a story I thought up(this is just the prologue) Prologue On the planet Vidarr, peace ruled for many centuries until the king of Drakkon passed away, leaving the throne to his only son Dra'kil. Dra'kil took the title of warlord & attacked the beautiful city of Igmus. The city was overrun in days & Dra'kil has turned his sights to the troll fortress of Trakor. The Council of Seven,an ancient group of spellcasters, in the majestic floating city of Barlor has turned to their one hope of saving Vidarr, the prophecy of five. The prophecy states that five champions will be born with a special trait & shall the world. Dra'kil knows of this prophecy and does not fear anyone.

Chapter One City of Valendia Damien Vertelli
"Damien, get inside and do your chores." shouted my mother from inside the house.
I'm Damien Vertelli. Being 15 it was tough living in a house with only your mother around. But I'm not your average kid from Valendia. My mother told me the strange red markings on my arm were a sign that in me was a power few had. I had an elemental spirit in me. The elders said it was the spirit of fire.
I don't know what to think about it but I have grown to accept it. Once I turned 10 the elders had me begin my training. They had me train with my mentor Delvada. He was a renowned magician & swordsman from Delvra. As I got older the lessons got harder but I impressed my mentor by excelling in most.
"Coming Mom" I said as I ran back inside.
(what do y'all think so far?)(I'm making it up as I go, and I'm not done with Damien)(If y'all would like me to use a certain name for a character pm it, as well if you want a unique country. The elemental spirits still open are Water,Earth,Wind,& Akasha)

Don't think of it like that. Nobody ever got good at anything by putting themself down. Writing is just one of those skills that takes a lot of time and practice to get the hang of. Take Jakob for example... When I first met him a few years ago he wrote like a child, but now his work is really quite exellent. And wanna know how that happened? Practice.
So by all means, regardless of what you or others may think of your writing, just keep doing it. The Sandbox here is the perfect place to do whatever you want, so take advantage of that and post as much as you like. Keep fighting the good fight and if it's something you really want, you will get better.

Chapter One continued Damien
A couple hours after being called inside,I finished my chores. It was boring and I loathed doing them.
When mom was busy in the kitchen I snuck out of the house to go to my favorite spot, Shangra Caverns. Shangra Caverns is a series of caves and tunnels near Mount Verana. I love exploring the caves and feeling the warm air flow through the caves.
As I traveled through the caves I came upon a strange object.....(What do y'all think the object should be? A dragons egg,a weapon,armor,etc...)
