So I had a few questions...for one, I was wondering if any of you here on the site had been the ones I had collaborated with to make this cyberpunk RP, and if you still have the site link, that was a lot of wasted work...

In other news, how many of you would be interested in a cyberpunk RP? It's something I am tempted to start again, I really had something going with the one before and I hope I could make another good one.

That, or I could do a Diablo RP...now that would be legit. Hacking and slashing demons...oh yeah.

So I've decided to revive my old Cyberpunk RP. I want you guys to read mah backstory and give me some ideas. Due to the scale of this RP, however, I am gonna end up making another forum for it. Still thought you might want to read into it:

The year is 2082, as the cyber-war between the American Corporate Sector (ACS) and the Hackers continues. Much has happened up to this point, and Earth has been through hell and back up to this point. The rise of the ACS had started long ago, back in the 2020's.

The European Union had been falling apart due to the lack of resources, and this soon became all out war as oil, water, and food reserves diminished. The EU broke out in war by 2025, and the war ended by nuclear bombs in 2027. All of Europe was ravaged by the war, and many pockets of Humanity left their fell into Feudalism, fighting amongst themselves for resources as technological advancement halted.

American unrest grew as resources diminished as well, and rights were being taken away for the sake of "National Defense". Soon the American's unrest turned into Civil War in 2029. The revolutionaries were pacified by the Government, however, by 2034. By this time, the US had been brought to ruin in the wake of war. Rights are practically taken away as America becomes a Police State and hostility towards the Government continues.

By 2038, however, the Government loses power as the Corporations take over. The Corporations display banners stating "A Newer and Brighter Future" everywhere as they rebuild the nation. People rejoice as they have new hope and a better future, as the Corporations institute re-education camps, converting anyone who defies the Corporations power unknown to the people.

The United States is renamed the American Corporate Sector as all members are soon required to have tracking devices sewn into their bodies and bar-codes imprinted on their arms for identification. People are told it's for their own safety and the greater good of the community, and people quickly buy into it. Work days are extended to an average of nine to ten hours, six days a week to keep the people busy, as well as the numerous advertisements for anything ranging from food to sex populate the streets and HV's (Holo-vision, it's the future of TV's that displays everything holographically).

The ACS's brainwashing has not gone unnoticed, however, and many resistance groups had arisen to combat their Dystopian society. They most commonly fight by hacking the Corporate cybernet and assaulting re-education camps and other important Corporate structures.

By 2060, a "Master AI" had been implemented to control all things occuring in Corporate Cyberspace. This had effectively halted all cyber-attacks by Hackers. In 2068, however, the Master AI had suffered from an unknown error and brought down the whole cybernet before disappearing without a trace. Due to this and the expense of AI's, the ACS has only implemented them in limited applications.

After the cybernet was brought down, the country had gone into chaos as major cyber-attacks had begun again. The Hackers were able to recruit a number of new members before the ACS had taken control again, making the Hackers a real threat to the Corporations. To this day, the war between the Corporations and the Hackers continues...
