Group Name:
The Advocates
A new caste of the Inquisitors responsible to track down and hunt the recently-risen Heretic factions whilst the main forces of the Covenant focus on the Human forces, approved and backed by the Ministry of Inquisition and the Covenant Special Warfare Group.
Function
The Advocates were once comprised of a crèche of at least 80 of the most capable Special Operatives that fit the needs of the High Inquisitors of the Reticent Lance in their mission in hunting down the Heretics and Demons of humanity, if they are successful to the Minister's expectations, the Advocates will be official and draw to become a worthy asset.
Directly commanded by Til ‘Muramai and based in a secret facility known as the Citadel of Lidless Inquisition on a disclosed planet that few know about and others are executed if they discover it, to which Til personally approved of.
After proving their success in a series of assignments, the Advocates has begun to grow in size to a small army under the command of several Inquisitors, with the Supreme Inquisitor and Reticent Lance as the more dominant leaders.
To keep organization and maximize effectiveness, Til had the Advocates separated into two divisions;
The Sword of Suban Division (SOS Division):
The most ‘direct’ and visible form of the Advocate crèche, the Sword of Suban consist some of the most bloodthirsty and zealous Special Operatives alive, feared for their constant harsh training and mastery in the art of warfare, personal or otherwise.
Usually donned in sturdy black harness, the 'Swordsmen' of Suban are sent as the ‘eradicators’ of the Heretic forces or as personal honor guard to the Inquisitors themselves.
Hierarchy:
The Swordsmen-The impressive 'Minors' of the SOS, while well-trained in the art of swordplay, they are still novices in the eyes of the experienced.
The Knights-The Skilled 'Majors' of the SOS, wearing the carefully engraved Seal of the Advocates on their backs as a testament of their skill.
The Crusaders-The eight most skilled swordsmen of the division, acting as lieutenants of the Swordmaster and protectors of the Advocates' holy creed.
The Swordmaster-The Leader of the Swordsmen of Suban, carefully chosen by Til for his unmatched skill in battle and considerable charisma to lead and motivate his division with a Zealot's grace.
The Shield of Qikost Division (SOQ Division):
The most covert-specialized twin of the Advocate group, the Shield of Qikost is responsible to be the trackers of Heretic activities by any means necessary, from simple computer-based searches to underworld dealing, and compared to their Sword brethren, rarely go to the battlefield.
When they do, the Shield agents are the most cunning manipulators that would make a Kig-yar pirate envious, often used to cause internal chaos in target factions while under guises or rally allies to a common foe, posing as a suitable priest or the like.
Garbed in pure-white armor with various robes underneath, the Shield agents are the less threatening and more diplomatic of the two divisions.
Hierarchy:
The Sentinels-The Citadel-bound investigators of the SOQ who works daily to ensure all heretical activity is checked and located to send their fellows to hunt down.
The Justicars-The Shield Operatives who are sent to mercilessly instigate neccesary events or publicly judge(and/or execute) suspects. Recognized in their unnerving mix of clergy garments and bright white armor, decorated with the Glyphs of the Purified.
The High Justicar-The chosen leader of the SOQ Division, clad in more decorated armor of his Justicar brethern, the High Justicar leads their divison with wisdom, patience, and a disturbingly zealous eye. Chosen for these particular traits, very few wish to catch the personal attention of the High Justicar.
Reasoning behind the proposal:
I have created this small group to help the Inquisitors in their missions and to give some excitement for everyone.
Why should it be added to HRPG Canon?:
- The Covenant Empire’s main forces will focus on the human threats as they send capable fanatics to deal with the internal heresies and the UNSC Spartans since regular troops can’t properly deal with these threats.
What will the role of the proposal be full-filling:
- It gives the Inquisitors a hand in their fight against the Heretic faction.
