MimYap
Free Caged Human Vessel MimYap Grdugingly holstered his plasma pistol and climbed on the human ship, keeping his hands on the ground to walk with. He enjoyed the ride, but was weary of the humans. It was one thing to leave the covenant, but another to trust these humans so full heartily. They finally reached the human ship, weak and thin as it was. The were 'escorted' off the drop ship and taken to human holding cells. They began to strip MimYap of his armor and weapons, he was fine, forcing himself to ignore YEARS of training, and they were able to remove his chest plate, pistol and grenades, but they then tried to remove his mask, causing him to growl and yank back, this caused him to drop his pouch with human identification strips (Dog Tags) the bag opened and spilled its contents all across the floor. MimYap squealed and began to frantically pick them up, earning him a boot to the exposed chest. He roared in agitation and took up a beast like defensive stance, scooping as many tags into his arms as he could, while still keeping his back to the wall. He was kicked again, this time from the side, he ducked it but the other marines grabbed him and tossed him into the cell. He roared and lunged, slamming against the bars, this act made him spill the only tags he had managed to save. "Give me humans! They mine now!" He said, trying to keep possession of the shiny strips that meant the only thing of normalcy, his old life...LumLum... He eventually slummed into the corner, next to Rakath's cage, defeated.

Rakath V'keelaii
When his armor was taken from him, Rakath and his men stood completely still as the humans did such.
Then MimYap did something stupid, guns were drawn on him but Rakath held up his hand and seized his hand on MimYaps arm through the bars, gripping it tightly he bent it back slightly and growled.
"Stop... Now..." He said in a low tone before lowering his hands to his side.
Lucy Grey
She remained quiet as the Major talked. Letting out a slow breath she quietly began to play with the M6D in her hand hen Foley ordered her to get to where he was.
She nodded and stood, without another word shut off the COMM with a click and as she walked past the medical room, motioned her squad to follow. Into the armory they went.
Lucy picked up the usual. Shotgun, plenty of ammo, and plenty of Assault Rifle mags. A few extra magazines for her pistol wouldnt hurt either.
Jackson grabbed up a Assault Rifle to replace his SMG and crossed it on his back with his sniper, while Anders put a Battle Rifle on his shoulder, pointing down at the ground while his DMR rested on his other one, along with an SMG on his hip.
They were ready, she guessed, motioning them again she walked out and stopped.
"Outside now, Major... Where re you lot at?"

MimYap
Free Caged Human Vessel "Fuck you!" he said squirming against the strong sangheili's grasp. He felt tears begin to well up in his eyes. He had given every thing up to be a 'sangheili' he had thrown away his title, his love...his life...to be bossed around by some big bully! He should have known that is would be the same, it was always the same for poor MimYap! Every thing always is bad for MimYap, the only person who REALLY like him he had left to die on a stupid planet! He had been so stupid! I told you.... the voice had been quite until now, causing MimYap to nod. "You right, you right...you always are!" he yelled suddenly Why don't you listen to me! It yelled with anger, its voice now a torrent of words, all echoing around MimYaps tiny skull. He was scared, and he was suddenly 'alone' he had only the voice. Rakath has left you, fooling you into thinking you are a unggoy of honor, but you are an unggoy of wit, relax, let this ride out, and you can rejoin LumLum.... The voice said, causing MimYap to stop squirming. "Y-you have a plan?" he asked, shaking in the grasp on the sangheili Yes...I always have a plan, but right now you must follow Rakath's lead...go...MimYap nodded, then calmly looked to the sangheili who was holding him, his face suddenly as calm as stone. " Please release me sangheili..." he said, looking the taller alien in the eyes. He was dropped to the ground, where he stood, on his hind legs, in his cell, keeping a steely straight forward gaze.

Sergeant Major Medoko
The Sergeant was tense, oh was he ever. The four Covenant soldiers had the weapons in a box in which two marines were carrying. It was awkward, and the Sergeant complemented the idea of pulling the trigger more then once.
He was counter boarding, not escort. The idea popped into his head, and he was going to. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!" One of the soldiers whispered, noticed the Sergeant slip his finger into the trigger well and tackled the Sergeant to the ground.
Luckily, the group had already turned the corner, and the noise must have been quiet enough not to stir any attention. "What the hell are you thinking!" The Soldier said more calmly.
"Sorry, I need a smoke. I'm begging for action. Did you know, I've actually never killed a Covenant soldier yet? The war's been going on for ten years!" The Sergeant spoke up a little more, before pushing the soldier off of him, standing up and finally walking away.
Vice Admiral Klix
The Admiral walked onto the bridge, a Marine turned, was about to scream the "Admiral on Deck!" line before the Admiral spoke up. "At ease!"
The Admiral turned, walked towards a set of cells and sighed.
"So, you helped a ODST out?" The Admiral said. "But yet I'm guessing you've killed endless human soldiers... What made this ODST the lucky one. He was alone, separate and an easy target... Did you have mercy on your enemy?" The Admiral added.

Rakath V'keelaii
"Remain calm, MimYap... They will not hesitate to shoot you..." Rakath took in a deep breath and looked down the cells to see Renmee and Kallmee both standing quietly with their hands behind their back like a human would call "At Ease".
The Leader, by the looks of it entered and Rakath crossed his arms over his chest and bowed deeply and respectfully before slowly moving towards the bars to speak to the Admiral.
"For a long time... my faith in the Covenant has been fading... My men," Rakath said motioning to the two Elites. "I do not know their views, but they are loyal to me, I hope at least." the two Elites then turned and looked at Rakath, Renmee nodded, and Kallmee did not have to do a thing for Rakath to know what he was thinking.
"MimYap came with us even though he did not have to... Forgive his outburst, please..." Rakath said, wrapping his hands around the bars.
"I am... Rakath V'keelaii, human..."

Vice Admiral Klix
He didn't notice them at first, but when he did he felt his heart accelerate. He walked over to the spilled mess, lots of dog tags of fallen soldiers.
"Your fucking sick! Marines! Keep your weapons raised and ready to fire. I don't know if you can understand me, move again towards the bars and you die..." The Admiral said with a stern voice, bending down and picking up a dog tag.
All he did was narrow his eyes, looked at the grunt and shake his head in discust. "Pick the mess up, don't give a single one back." The Admiral shot a strict order.
He turned his focus back to the elite.
"Bridge, inform the General on the surface that he may want to come." The Admiral said into his TAC-PAD. A voice emitted from the device. "Sir, the General has been informed."
"So, I'm going to assume you are the leader then." The Admiral asked. "All right, Rakath.. You've got my attention. You better hope your team is loyal to you, or what ever reason you have for saving and working with a UNSC Military personnel." The Admiral added, and walked closer to the bars. "I don't suppose YOU have any dogtags..." The Admiral whispered.

Rakath V'keelaii
He nodded to the leader of the humans. Looking at the humans uniform he guessed a high rank. Maybe to the humans he was the equivalent of the Covenant's Prophet...
When he spoke of loyalty, Kallmee and Renmee perked up before backing up and both of them sitting on their knees with a respectful posture.
When the man leaned in to speak, Rakath spoke back in a low voice. "I have none of your men's tags... I do however have a human revolver which was modified that was... Given to me by a friend." He said, taking his hands from the bars and backing away, hi hands going behind his back when he saw the unease of the MArines of him being so close to the bars.

Staff Sergeant Jason 'Iceman' Bowers / General Robert 'Godfather' Sink Task Force 77 - ABLE COMPANY / Task Force 77 Ground side- Awaiting Orders / Proceeding to UNSCS Arizona Jason sat there in the Warthog half a sleep listening to UNSC Radio traffic, he then handed it back to a Lance Corporal called Trombly, the kid grabbed it and slid it around one of the hooks on his shoulder pad. "I gotta take a pis, listen in will ya"\ Jason jumped out of the Warthog and walked about ten meters away he unzipped his fly and began to, well... Piss, mean while General Sink walked out of the UNSC Command centre, he made his way up to the ramp to the top of the forerunner structure before stepping off it and into a hallway, he walked down the hall way and out into the blistering sunlight of the shield world, he then walked over to a convoy line of Fuel and Ammo trucks and a M12 Heavy Assault Warthogs, he walked to the front one and leant in to speak to a Private Trombly. "Private?"
"General... Sir?"
"Where's your Squad leader?"
"Over there Sir"Trombly said before pointing toward Bowers who was still taking his piss, the General began to walk over to Bowers and why he did so Bowers raised his left hand and began to sing out of boredom. "He's just a boy, I'm just a girl, I can't make it anymore obviouse, we are inlove, havent you heard, and we rock each others woooorld!"Bowers coughed lowered his hand and shook twice, he then zipped up his fly and turned around as he did he stopped at the sight of the General, Bowers stood there with a blank face the two of them stood there staring at one another for three seconds the General with a small smirk on his face and Bowers with a mighty fine poker face, a few more seconds passed before the General spoke. "Follow me Staff Sergeant..."
"Yes Sir..."Jason said before lifting his MA37 and holding it with both hands, he jogged over to catch up with the General before listening to what he had to say. "Can I have you and a few other men escort me up to the UNSCS Arizona and accompany me to the brig?"
"S-Sir"The General stopped and looked at Bowers, Bowers now having a pale face. "We have captured some Covenant troops and I would like for you to be my security escort... Is this a problem?"
"No Sir"
"Alright then... Meet me on Pelican Delta-Bravo-Four"
"Yes Sir"Bowers jogged back, away from the General and back over to the convoy he established for Captain Sierra Lloyd, Jason stopped at the lead Hog, which was his vehicle, he then leant in tapped a marine in the passenger seat and looked at Corporal Winters in the back. "Corproral Clair and Winters with me" Jason nodded before joggin back to the General who was now mounted in a Pelican, Jason mounted the Pelican and sat across from the general, Corporal Claire and Corporal Winters sitting on his left and right of Bowers. _________________________________________________________________ Jason walked down the hall right behind the General with his MA37 held at the ready, along with his two Corporals, Claire on his left and Winters on his right, once they entered the brig Claire and Winters broke off and took defensive positions on either side of the door, Jason continued to walk with the General and stopped once the General stopped, Jason broke off from the General to see a couple marines gathering up a shit load of dog-tag's into a sack, Jason walked over to the Marines. "Could I see that?"
"Sure sir"Jason took the sack and sat down on a bench, going through all the different dog tag's, as he did so the General began to speak. "So... Admiral... It was true when I was informed we had a couple of Covies onboard the ship, how did they get here and what are their intentions?

SPARTAN-090 Darek Gold Team Bravo Squad Just outside UNSC FOB |
After taking notes to the Captain’s words, Darek kept silent. Jenkins seemed agitated, and the SPARTAN wasn’t going to waste his time fighting with the Marine for mission details. He had more important matters then to argue. The SPARTAN closed his TAC-PAD and began to access the data from ONI directly; maybe they would do a better job at explaining the situation. Yet, as he started to read the information, an old friend walked up to his side. “SPARTAN.” The Major muttered, patting Darek on his shoulder. “Good to see you again.” Darek turned and started to salute, but Foely gripped his wrist and stilled the motion. The reflective visor to the Trooper’s helmet wasn’t transparent; he wasn’t in a good mood it seemed. Darek relaxed his arm to his side and dismissed the ONI file for the time being. “Glad to see you’re fine. I do apologize for leaving your team back at that time.” Darek nodded and Foely turned his head to look up at the super-soldier. “Apologize for doing your job? I should smack you.” Foely chuckled and looked to Jenkins. “Any new details from him?” “No, sir. Wouldn’t suggest asking him about it though.” Darek sighed and looked down at his PAD, checking over who else he could ask about the mission. Foely only shook his head. “I wasn’t going to anyways. Come on, roll with me for a bit. Where’s your team?” Foely turned away from the Captain and started to head back to the convoy. Darek followed a few paces behind, keeping close so he could talk calmly. “The only other SPARTAN on the ground that I know of is Darius. No idea where he is though. I did suggest that he talk to the Llyods though.” “You mean ordered right?” Foely paused next to the lead warthog and turned to face the 6 foot SPARTAN. “Sort of. Where do you need me?” Darek looked down the line of APCs and Salamanders with the Warthogs as support. “I don’t need you anywhere. I simply wanted to know if you got any better Intel then what I got. Seems not. Thanks though.” Foely patted Darek on the back then turned to his Sergeants. Darek saluted the Major when he turned around, then quickly started to jog off. He’d have to find another squad to move with it seemed. Though, first Darek would have to find Darius. Where did that SPARTAN go anyways...? Major Salvatore Foely Task Force 77 Spec-OPs Platoon: Reaper Just outside UNSC FOB. |
After his chat with the SPARTAN, Foely brought his Sergeants to the front Warthog. Loudin pulled a battle-map of the area around them up on a tablet, then projected it onto the hard ground below. Intel they had been given was already fed through, and several objective markers popped up on the map. One was for the forerunner command Center, others were of last known locations of missing Marine Squads and other teams. There were also several marks of where known positions of UNSC Forces were. The Forward Operations base was outlined in a massive green dot. The two UNSC ships that had been brought down with them were also labeled, and their status was listed to the sides of the icons. Foely crossed his arms on his chest and looked down at the map as he waited for a moment. His Sergeants were silent, also staring and waiting. "Outside now, Major... Where re you lot at?"Foely looked up at his leaders, then turned back to the FOB entrance. He watched as the team appeared fromthe bellows of the structure, all seemed ready to go. “Big convoy towards the front. Can’t miss us. Get your team in the empty Warthogs on the 2nd Cougar’s flanks. When they are set, come up and join me at the front.” Foely looked to his left as his driver slumped forward; falling asleep at the wheel. The Major stared at the Trooper and waited for a second as the man slowly listed to the left. After a certain angel, the trooper jolted back to life and sat back up. “Major.” Sergeant Bennant spoke up as he knelt down next to the image of the map. “Night Squad can move up onto this ridge here, if that is one. It’s got a nice vantage point of the structure and we can easily defend it.” “Don’t even think about doing something alone, Patty.” Locking teased, lightly nudging the sniper commander. “It’s better then not having any place to go at all. For you jar-heads its easy.” Bennant hissed and stood back up. “Haven’t heard that term in a while.” Loudin smirked and looked up at Foely. “What should we do?” Foely remained silent still, gliding his fingertips together as he thought of a plan. No reports of Covenant movement had been reported yet, but the Aliens were surely on the move. The floating machines were also a problem, and if Night wanted to move to that spot; Locking was right. His snipers would be in trouble if they were found. “What we going to do with Lunar?” Locking asked, nodding to the squad that was now back with them. “Relax guys.” Roebuck waved her hand lightly in the air to calm them. “Let Foely think...” “Croaden.” Foely looked to his right a little to find his Lieutenant then back down at the map. “Yes, Major.” Croaden crouched down next to the map as Foely began to let his plan come together. “Keep in contact with ONI Command. We’ll move out for now together. Bennant.” Foely pointed to where he wanted to go, then snagged the tablet from Loudin. “Sir.” Bennant perked his ears up and began to listen as the place he pointed out was outlined in a red circle. “Once we get to the CC, head there with support from Grey Squad. Secure a small perimeter if the spot is good enough. If it isn’t, fall back and secure the perimeter of the CC. For the ride, Night, remain in the APCs. Blackout I want on gunnery duty with Grey supporting. Shadow, you and Lunar will be ground support when we get into combat on the way. Stay in the Cougars, and file out whenever we get into combat. After the engagement, get back into the vehicles so we can stay mobile. If we’re creeping, remain on the outside and stay tight. When you’re boots are wet, keep in contact with the other UN SC squads in the area. I don’t want any friendly-fire bullshit going on. Roebuck, when Grey gets her, fill her in. And please, no cat fights.” Foely’s orders flew off his tongue loud and clear, each of the Sergeants absorbed their information. “We move out in 10, Reaper! Do your final checks and let’s get to it! This war ain’t over yet Troopers. And we don’t sleep till the last Xeno-bastard is dead.” “Hoo-ah.” His Sergeants answered as they began to disperse to their squads. Each switched to their individual channels and began relaying the plan. “Roebuck, stay up here with me.” Foely moved to his warthog as his young Sergeant turned around on her heels. He reached over and knocked his driver upside his head. “Wake up, Buttercup.” “Sorry Sir.” The Trooper apologized and quickly sat upright to stay awake. Foely nodded and turned to Roebuck as he started to run through more in-depth with some of the details. She would be right up there with him, as would Croden. They would need a more elaborate plan if they got engaged... And as they waited for Lunar, some ideas were being tossed around already.

Second Lieutenant Simon Qartal "Look at them flashing their fancy suits about.... Us 'lower solders' get gear that protects us about as much as a paper house covered in gasoline would to a fire... Fucking replacements to the real deals in my book..." "Meh. I don't really mind 'em." Said Simon, one hand absently unloading and reloading his AR as he lounged in the passenger seat. "But it would be nice to have some power armor like that..." First Lieutenant Isin Herald Isin's eyes scanned the landscape around the temporary HQ; he always enjoyed seeing things from on high. Dark specks moved in the distance. Forerunner drones, most likely. He looked back into the interior of the Falcon, wincing slightly as he saw the burn marks scarring the gunmetal vehicle. They had gotten into another encounter with the drones, hence they're late arrival. Remarkably, no one had been injured too terribly badly, apart from the occasional singe and burn. Isin looked back down at the base, stretching his arms for a moment. He clicked on the COM, contacting Major Foely. "Major Foely, this is Lieutenant Herald. I am approaching the temporary HQ in a Falcon, ETA forty-five seconds. Orders?"

"So... Admiral... It was true when I was informed we had a couple of Covies onboard the ship, how did they get here and what are their intentions?" The newly arrived General said.
"His intentions!" The Admiral spoke up a bit. "Well, the elite says he's been questioning his faith in the Covenant, if you have questions, ask him. The two elites on the other side of the brig seem loyal, but watch the Grunt. As you can see, Sergeant Bowers is looking at about one hundred UNSC dogtags... Say anything to you?" The Admiral perked up, turned his head towards Rakath.
"So you say your faith has been fading from the Covenant. You saved a UNSC ODST and you've, with out hesitation, offered your weapons and armory with out any fight. What ARE your intentions." The Admiral asked.

Rakath V'keelaii
He listened silently to the humans talking for a long moment before taking in a breath to speak again, slowly taking a step towards the bars.
"Our intention... Is to leave the Covenant, get off this planet, but also to help you in any way we can.." Rakath looked down in thought for a moment.
"I do have something... that i can teach you and you may record and modify your choices to it at will."
Looking down to Renmee and Kallmee he could see them both nod slightly, giving him approval before he looked over to MimYap to see if he was all right.
"I am a high born Elite, a Swordsman... I know how the Energy blades of the Covenant work, Swords and Knives at least." He stopped for a moment and looked down at the pile of dog tags being looked over by a Marine.
"In exchange for allowing us to assist you, I will show you how the Covenant Energy Sword and Knives work, they are the same basis...
Lucy Grey
"Aye Aye..." she said, motioning her squad on ahead of her. Giving one look back into the structure before following and loading into a warthog on the convoy.
Looking over to the picture in her visor she smiled a bit and let out a breath before reaching up and clearing her visor.
"Lets do this then, Foley..." She said, loading a few shells into her shotgun.

Mattie Stroud It was Isin. This was the first he had heard Isin since they had been retrieving the artifact. Mattie was mildly glad that Isin was unharmed. "Good to hear from you again, sir." Mattie said, standing back up, knowing that they were about to be on the move again, and he was glad about that. He looked at Alex, a pained look on his face, although no one could see it. "You better be here when we get back," this came out as little more than a choke. He stepped up onto the rear of the 'Hog after Lucy and took a seat as far in as he could go. He took in a deep breath, and attached the SMG to his belt once again. He slumped low in his seat, chin to his chest as he closed his eyes. Everything was messed up. He just needed a moment to rest his eyes, and his mind. He thought about his home, back on Harmony; his family, his mother and father. It had been years since he had last seen them and he missed them quite dearly. He only needed a moment before he was fine again, and he sat up in his seat again. He looked over at Lucy, staying silent before looking back at the ground. Then, he did the same with Anders and Jackson, just simply looking at them before his gaze dropped again. They were all his family, almost as much of a family as his real one. Possibly even more. He shrugged off the thoughts, he was done with being sentimental. He was an ODST for fuck's sake, he couldn't sit here, worrying that his squad mates would get injured or killed. It was the way things were now, friends died, family died, everyone died. This didn't mean he didn't care, he cared a lot, possibly too much, but at the same time, he was done worrying about it all the time. He looked forward, watching as the Warthog ate the distance as they sped away from the structure. " Well.. That was short lived." he thought.

General Robert 'Godfather' Sink Task Force 77: 1st Reaction Force UNSCS Arizona in the ships Brig "I am a high born Elite, a Swordsman... I know how the Energy blades of the Covenant work, Swords and Knives at least... In exchange for allowing us to assist you, I will show you how the Covenant Energy Sword and Knives work, they are the same basis..."Godfather cleared his throat loudly and stepped forward so he was two feet away from the cell and looking up at the alien dead in the eye, he knew he was well in arms reach of the alien and he understood the risks, Godfather put his hands behind his back and grabbed his left wrist with his right hand before proceeding to speak. "How about this... In exchange of letting you fight with us, and letting you live and leave this place alive... You tell us all the details you can think of, of the Covenant battle plan, you also tell us if the Covenant is carrying any high priority assets and you give us the encryption codes for the Covenant battle-net?"Staff Sergeant Jason 'Iceman' Bowers Task Force 77: ALPHA COMPANY Aboard the UNSCS Arizona - Brig Jason continued to shuffle through the bag of dog-tags, he had gone through about thirty different dog-tag's by now and knew six of the soldiers that used to own theses shiny peices of metal on a chain, Jason sighed and gripped the back before tieing the end shut, he stood up and walked over to the cage that was holding the gas-sucker. "I bet you like theses huh... Well... You aint getting them back grunt."Jason stood and walked over to his Corporals who were guarding the door to the brig, he handed the sack of dog-tag's to Corporal Winters who took it and attached it to his belt, Jason nodded to Jason before talking quietly so as not to disturb the interrogation though the others would still be able to hear. "Man you really are the Iceman... I would have caved that grunt's skull in"
"Yeah... Iceman's back"Jason said before turning and taking a seat on a bench again, this time a different bench and he was sitting next to an ODST, he looked like a sharp-shooter and he had a hole in his visor the shape of a bullet hole just over his right eye, all over his armor there were scratches and his gear was covered in dust, this guy looked like he had been through hell already, and on the right side of his helmet there was a patch of steel silver where it looked like the paint had been plasted off by a beam of heat.

The Admiral pondered for a second, then the general spoke up.
"How about this... In exchange of letting you fight with us, and letting you live and leave this place alive... You tell us all the details you can think of, of the Covenant battle plan, you also tell us if the Covenant is carrying any high priority assets and you give us the encryption codes for the Covenant battle-net?"
The Admiral liked that idea better, "Yes. Give us the information we need, and will let you fight along side the UNSC, but under two conditions. The first one is going to sound scary, but we need to make sure your loyalty stands with the UNSC now. We are going to put small explosives in your armor with only I having the detonation code in my command neural lace, and I will only trigger it if you kill a UNSC Personnel. Two, you will use human weapons well our guys have a look at your Covenant weapons. You will get them back once they are done, and don't worry, nothing will happen to them. Do you agree to this terms?" The Admiral asked.
He looked over to a Marine beside the box. "Take it to the armory, then bring it back. Do exactly what I just said." The Admiral shot the order over.
"Yes, sir!" The Marine responded.

Rakath V'keelaii
Listening to the humans for a moment he wene into thought when one of them went to MimYaps cell, Rakath spoke up a bit. "Please... Do not taunt him..." He said, politly almost.
He then returned his attention to the humans and thought for a moment.
"Battle-Net... I would need to write it down on something.. do you have something I could do for that... But for the High-priority and battle plan... I do not know... I was a special operator... I was sent on missions and not told what they were about most of the time... I apologize but I do not know."
A Marine then approached him with a data pad and slid it through the bars on which he awkwardly scrolled in the Covenant encryption into the thin device before holding it out and having it taken by the Marine and passed on to the leaders in the room.
"It may not get you much... but some is better than none." He said, looking down, and then back to the Admiral when he poke of the Explosives and the weaponry.
"I do, and I agree. But if you do allow me to leave here alive, I do plan to build my own.... Revolution... by doing so I refuse to harm any human I come across, even if fired upon first." He said, ending it with a short bow.
"I will tell you anything else that may be useful to you as well."

Vice Admiral Klix
He reviewed the information that the Elite had scribbled down, he didn't understand, but downloaded the piece of information right to his command neural interface, opened up a channel to the bridges AI with the TAC-PAD.
""I do, and I agree. But if you do allow me to leave here alive, I do plan to build my own.... Revolution... by doing so I refuse to harm any human I come across, even if fired upon first." The Elite said, giving the same concept of a salute back to the Admiral.
"I will tell you anything else that may be useful to you as well." The elite added.
"I'm sure you will, but for the mean time I have two more questions. The layout of the Covenant base. Our sensors can quite map the base out, and we are not risking a recon patrol since the two Covenant vessels are hovering close to it." The Admiral nodded.
"I'd also like to know your intentions of a rebellious force from the Covenant, it would be a interesting story..." The Admiral added, tapping on the tac-pad.
He sent the info to the bridge, and a few seconds later the shipboard A.I responded, "Aye, Admiral. I've received your text order and will begin cracking into the Covenant battle-net. If they are broadcasting on secure channels, we should be able to hear."
The Admiral erased the code from the device, it was in his command interface and the A.I now had it as well. He handed the device back to the elite.
"Draw your best sketch of the Covenant base." The Admiral said, "Any tactical advantage we can get, will help us get out of here faster."

Major Domo Til 'Muramee
Venturing through the forest, Til led his lance carefully, seeing the Unggoy tracks about everywhere, and occassionally stopping them to keep them away.
It was a slow process, but the sight of the Forerunner structure was found, but to their dismay, a battle had erupted.
The Unggoy savages were having a brief but gory battle with the hovering Sentinels, the machines were unprejudice as they fired lances of powerful energy beams into the Unggoy.
"Stupid creatures, they are making our way in worse." A minor snarled and Til hissed him to silence.
"They might prove to be a asset." Til whispered.
Captain Major Valerius
The Captain Major watched from the hologram of the sky-view Forerunner structure as Therus' bird circled around, spying on the Unggoy's failed attempts at infiltrating the structure as its relentless guardians slaughtered them without much trouble.
"Bah, never send a Unggoy to do a Jiralhanae's job." Albus mocked and the silent hunter zoomed in closer on the carnage. "Their shields are good at deflecting projectiles it seems from previous encounters with the humans, but protection against melee weapons is another tale." Therus explained.
Sitting on a cage, Valerius just watched. His patience starting to wane, he didn't care about the Sentinels. He would destroy them if they were Forerunner-made artifacts or not. He had a mission to complete and this was pointless. He gripped on his resting axe tightly.

MimYap Caged Human ship MimYap's eye twitched as the human began to insult him, they seemed to fog over as MimYap spoke. "I killed every one of them, human, to bad you couldn't have stopped me...the last one was pretty gruesome, i tore HER face off!" He said speaking quite enough ,while the soldier was close, so no one could hear. MimYap spoke with a new voice that seemed to flow from the unggoy's throat. A deeper one of anger and hate. The new voice didn't belong to MimYap, MimYap had a more tortured/ determined sound, this one dripped with hatred and bile. He kept his distance from the bars and stayed on two legs, he couldn't put his arms behind his back so they dangled at his side. He waited, knowing the human would at the very least have something to say. Why we do this now? We...we supposed to help Rakath...this not right... MimYap said to the new him. "Shut up!" he shouted into his shoulder, causing the original MimYap to shrink to the back of the new MimYap's mind. Telus Teruines Chieftain of the holy covenant Planet Side Telus sat in the middle of the phantom, the up draft from the midsection of the ship blowing through his fur. He was determined to out do his father, who had foolishly gotten himself killed. He flexed his robotic arm, spinning it to and fro. He was ready for a fight, and willing to hunt through this ancient world to find it. As soon as he said this a holy warrior flew close to his phantom and strafed it with a quick beam of light, causing the ship to swing in its flight path. Telus laughed at the opportunity and pressed the button on his robotic arm, causing his mask to slide into place. He ran to the open bay door and dug his large paw into the lip of it, thus keeping him inside the swaying ship, he then used his robotic arm to grab the warrior and pull it inside, with its deadly stinger facing out the side he stabbed it through the mid section, causing it to sputter, he then sliced out wards. Tiny bits of metal fell and plummeted out the ship, it grew heavy in his hands and he knew he had removed its capability of flight, so, he tossed it out the side, hearing it crash into the metal that was the ground. He let out a deep laugh and flew forward onto where is new captain was assaulting the forerunner structure. The arrived and allowed the ship to slowly descend, gracefully landing on the grass. but the grace of the moment was soon ruined as Telus jumped down and landed on the ground, his large imposing figure now moving towards his captain.

"Possibly." The Sangheili pilot nodded, taking them from the Kig-Yar and stalking towards the door. He reached through the small gap, and embedded them within the mechanics of the door. He pressed each one, activating them, and hurriedly retreated his arm from the door.
Ruk and the pilot retreated tot he opposite side as the grenades detonated, taking out the hydraulics that lowered the door. The drop ship trembled.
Ruk took the first step outside, taking a careful look around. The interior of the structure was amazing! Beautiful! The shimmering silver pillars and glistening blue lights. But when he looked back, he could see the drop ship was nearing the edge. "Might I suggest we leave the drop ship quickly? It is getting dangerously close to the edge, and suspect this place is not as desolate as it may seem."
"I agree with your assessment, Kig-Yar." the pilot grabbed anything he could from his ship before exiting. "Let us be off. I suspect the cruiser was piloted in that direction of the artificial chasm.
--Kel--
"Mir? Yik?" Kel called out as she approached the sealed drop ship. She grabbed onto the door and attempted to pry it open. It didn't budge.
"Kel." Zhal called out. He was walking around the front of the drop ship. Kel trotted over, and was pulled back from her trajectory by Zhal. "They aren't in there. The pilot is dead, crushed against his controls. Mir and Yik appear to have used their rifles to melt a way out of the cockpit. It's still hot, so they can't have gotten far."
"Then we continue then?" Kel inquired as Zhal helped her regain her posture.
"We do. Let's go."

Captain Valerius
"Alpha." Albus whispered to Valerius, who simply snarled, already know, smelling the coming Jiralhanae in the air. Standing up, he looked to the sky to see the phantom lowering itself to allow the new Chieftain to jump out, followed by his lieutenants.
Keeping his daggered axe in hand, Valerius bowed his head, "Mighty chieftain, it is a honor to have your hammer on the battlefield." He said with a snarl.
Valerius' pack was silent and simply bowed.

Telus Teruines Chieftain of the Holy covenant Planet Side Telus snorted, amused by the obvious distaste the other Jiralhanae had for him. "I'm sure it is..." he said testing the weight of the relic in his hands, he swung with one hand, one way, then the other, enjoying its power. He snorted again then moved past his captain towards the forerunner structure. "What beauty....hahahaha!" he laughed, enjoying the thought of ravishing this 'holy' temple in search of the powers left by the gods! He allowed his troops to amass, his terror troopers spreading wide and far as the other phantoms dropped their load, as if a pregnant sky fish, dropping her horrendous brood apon the cold ground. His soldiers stood tall and proud, elite soldiers of death, waiting to crush any thing that stood in their way, human or ancient warrior, they would destroy them, leaving only charred remains for their fellow covenant to see. He looked to his captain, the time for petty squabbles was of later, now they must assault the complex. "Captain, what is the situation, I trust you have the general area scouted." He said still looking on wards towards the structure, he pulled his long pipe from its holding pouch along his side, tucking blue leaves into it. He marveled at the elegance he had crafted into it, made from the polished white bone of his fathers femur. He pulled out his plasma lighter, a device that emitted a small ember of fire, and puffed at the pipe while he looked on, allowing the small ember to touch the blue leaves, causing his puffs to be rewarded with the dense blue smoke. He puffed and thought, allowing smoke to trail lazily from his mouth.

Captain Major Valerius
"We do, Chieftain." Valerius answered and grunted to Therus, who brought his holomap into view for Telus to see. The Forerunner structure was the main focus with the forest and mountains around him.
"The Sentinels are relentless in their defenses, but it is possible to get through them. Their shields are deflective against ballistic projectiles, but plasma and melee weaponry break through more easily." Valerius explained. "And there is few Sangheili-led lances in the forests."

Special Operations Officer Sorsa Xirsasai Sorsa crouched low, hardly breathing as a flock of about twenty Sentinels hovered above the camouflaged Sangheili, glowing eyes scanning the landscape. He clicked the COM twice, telling Lirm to charge his plasma launcher, then readied the dual plasma rifles in his hands. A short distance away, a low humming and sizzling sound could be heard. Several Sentinels turned at the noise, mounted weapons ready to fire. They whirled as a loud beeping noise echoed, beam weapons searing the area around tree seven meters away. Four bright blue flashes were launched through the air as a like number of thumps sounded. Four blobs of bright plasma adhered to three Sentinels, swelled, then detonated. Five Sentinels were destroyed, and the rest knew where Lirm was. "FIRE!" Bellowed Sorsa, squeezing the triggers of his plasma rifles as he aimed at a golden Sentinel overhead, quickly cutting through its shields and destroying it. Plasma and needles flurried out from the surrounding trees, cutting through four Sentinel's shields and reducing them to scrap. The survivors of the initial attack rallied, zooming through the trees, ruby and sapphire beams searing the land. A Spec Ops Minor gurgled as three beams hit him simultaneously, burning holes in his armor and body. Two more Sentinels sparked and exploded, and a second Minor was killed by five Sentinels working in tandem. With a final burst of plasma fire, Sorsa took down a second golden Sentinel, ducking into cover behind a tree as a beam flashed out at the Special Operator. The remaining Sentinels were relatively easy to take down, as their number had been cut almost in half. A third Spec Ops Minor was killed in the coming minutes, blood pooling under his body. *** Sorsa strode through the sparking shrapnel and remnants of Sentinel carapaces, helmeted head moving slowly left and right. "Intervention, we move in two." He growled, staring in the direction of the Control Room. It wasn't visible now, but would be when the creche exited that particular section of the forest. It would still be pretty far away, but at least they would be able to see their goal.

Major Salvatore Foely Task Force 77 Spec-OPs Platoon: Reaper Just outside UNSC FOB. |
"Major Foely, this is Lieutenant Herald. I am approaching the temporary HQ in a Falcon, ETA forty-five seconds. Orders?"“Herald, get ground side and mount up in a warthog. Move with Lunar and Shadow Squad. We’re leaving ASAP. We’ve waited to long. I’m not giving those split-lipped freaks any chance at the Command Room. If you’re in a Falcon, provide air-cover until you can land and get in a ‘hog.” Foely pulled himself into his Warthog and stood up tall as he got a final check to his convoy, as well as everyone else around. The Major pulled his rifle from his back and clasped it tight to his side so he’d be able to site down without a problem. “Roebuck, go inform Grey.” Foely nodded to his Sergeant and quickly turned and headed for the new arrival. * * * * * Sergeant Roebuck Reaper Platoon: Shadow Squad Leader * * * * * “Yes sir.” Roebuck nodded to Foely as she tucked her rifle under her arm. She sighed some under her helmet as she listened to the Major. Roebuck was glad to be under his wing, but sometimes she wished he wasn’t so hardheaded. He would complain about how Blackout was to worried about fighting, when he himself loved it. He enjoyed the rush of battle, and loved bashing down the doors just as much as Loudin did. “Grey.” Roebuck called as she approached the Warthog. She pulled up the details on her small TAC-PAD and held it up so she could read it, making sure she got the right orders herself. “We’re going to move together until we get to the Command Room. We’ve got ground support if any of those robots show up, as well as Covenant. We’ve got APC and Hog support so I hope you aren’t scared of loud noises. Other units will be around as well, so keep an eye out for friendlies. Foely is up front if you need him, I’ll be right behind him.” Roebuck patted the Gunny on the back and nodded to her. “Welcome back to Reaper.” Roebuck smiled under her visor, then started to back step as she gave a light salute with her first to fingers. She turned and keyed to Foely, connecting with him directly on a solo-channel as she moved back to her own warthog. She sighed lightly and looked forward to the Major, setting her battle rifle into the passenger seat of the second warthog. “Don’t do anything stupid, Salvatore.” Roebuck spoke sternly, staring up at her commanding officer as he looked back down at her. Major Salvatore Foely Task Force 77 Spec-OPs Platoon: Reaper Just outside UNSC FOB. |
“Don’t do anything stupid, Salvatore.” Roebuck came through, her voice hard but Foely could tell she was trembling slightly. He could always tell with her. “I’m standing in hell-jumper armor, with a ‘Major’ rank next to my name on the roster. What could I do that could be anymore stupid?” He laughed slightly to himself and motioned the woman to get into her warthog. She shook her head and closed the channel as she pulled herself into the warthog. Foely watched her move then sighed to himself, switching to the ground-wide channel. “All units, this is Major Foely of Reaper Platoon. We’re loaded-up and heading out. I’ll see you all at the CC.” Foely spun his hand in the air, signalling his convoy. The drivers answered in near unison, the Salamanders, Cougars, and Warthogs all roaring like beasts as their engines rumbled to life. The platoon channel buzzed with chatter as weapon systems were checked. Drivers orientated themselves, and found out who was wear. They exchanged information. The Sergeants notified the APC drivers of who had what squads, then is got silent. Everyone was up to date, like a well oiled machine. All of the gears were ready to spin, and each was timed to work with the others. They just waited for the start button. Foely waited patiently, looking up to the false sky of the shield world. He took a deep breath, letting out a long, slow exhale before he turned his head to the FOB. Time to do what they do best... “Let’s do this.” Foely pointed forward and his driver pushed down on the accelerator slowly, and Reaper was mobile.

Sergeant Sato Takashi, REVIVE 4 Badger Platoon Pelican En Route to Surface
Sato Takashi was not having the most pleasant of days.
First off, he had been struck with one of his migraines when they were onboard the UNSCS Passchendale. It had rendered him completely combat ineffective, and he had reported to the sick bay while his squad mates were engaged in combat. He had spent the last two hours attempting to get the medical staff to release him, insisting that he was fine.
They had refused, and Sato had eventually waited until their backs were turned and snuk out of the sick bay. He would likely face a charge later, but that was preferable to letting his squadmates fight without him.
He had made his way to the docking bay, and hitched a ride on a Pelican that was, after a quick brief with the pilot, providing a modified warthog as support to his squad. Giving himself a tight smile, he had boarded the dropship, and settled in to wait.
---------
As the ship descended through what he presumed to be the atmosphere, Sato flicked on his comms, activating the team frequency. "REVIVE,this is four." He muttered quietly. "Apologies for lateness...bringing something to make up for it," He said with a slight smile, powering through the lingering remnants of his migraine as he looked at the swaying heavy warthog in the aft of the ship.

//NOTE: ALL UNSC PERSONNEL SHOULD BE IN THE CONVOY! YOU MAY NOT CONTROL THE CONVOY WHERE THEY GO YOU CAN MERELY EXAMINE THE LAND SCAPE, I WILL BE CONTROLING THE CONVOY BUT FEEL FREE TO ENGAGE SENTINELS ON THE WAY TO THE AO - (Warning: We have Vehicles ranging from Warthogs, APC's, Tanks and overhead Falcons in order to get ground forces to the AO) - Wax//Staff Sergeant Jason 'Iceman' Bowers Task Force 77: A - Company; DELTA UNSCS Arizona; Inside Shield-World "Sergeant Jason... We're almost fucking almost oscar mike"He heard Corporal Speirs say over the Radio, Jason turned to face the General who was already nodding towards him gesturing that he could leave, Jason stepped out of the room and dropped his MA37 against his leg and held it by the hand grip with his right hand to stop it from bouncing around, Jason walked down along the deck till he made it to a service elevator, he stepped inside and took it down two decks and walked a bit more till he entered Hanger Bay Three, he walked into the Hanger and stepped into a Pelican with his two other Corporals which just took off and blasted it's way out of the hanger. Jason held onto one of the roof mounted hand grips tight and looked out the back, watching as the distance ate away at the UNSC Arizona and the ground below ate away at the distance, it took about half a minute for the Pelican to fly from the Arizona down to the UNSC Field HQ that was 300 meters below the Arizona, once the Pelican touched down on the surface of the shield world, but on the inside, Jason stepped out and jogged up the lane of tanks Warthog's and heavy Warthog's till he reached the one right up the front of the Convoy which was his Warthog, one of the new M12 Heavy Assault Warthogs. "Alright! Stow your shit guys!"Jason yelled before moving around to climb into the drivers seat, he slid himself under the armored canopy above his head and closed the door behind him, the M12 Heavy Assault Hog was more like the old 21st Century Humvee but with more grunt, Jason looked to his right and saw Clair climbing into the seat to his right, in the back Jake was climbing in behind him and Speirs was on the right, Trombly the Squad's newest addition was on the turret, he then patched himself into the Batallion wide COM's. "Task Force 77, interrogative... This is DELTA... Convoy is Oscar mike... I repeat convoy to current AO is on the move, head vehicle callsign is Misfit 2-1, be requested halt's are available, out"Jason pressed down gently on the accelerator just to get the convoy moving before pressing it down furthur and slowly reaching a 70km/h cruising speed over the grassy terrain that surrounded the UNSC Field HQ that was improvised using a Forerunner structure, Jason looked out beyond the windscreen and watched the area ahead of him, about three miles out was a cliff-face, Jason was unsure as to how they were going to pass that but Command had a plan. 1st Lieutenant Matthew Eversmann ONI Section ZERO; ORION REVIVE Shield-World Surface; CONVOY Matthew pressed down against the accelerator and began to follow the convoy as it got under way and moved towards the new AO which was the Control room, he looked around through the windscreen and out from under the armored roof of the M12 Heavy Assault Warthog and he was just getting comfortable when he heard this over TEAM-COM. "REVIVE,this is four... Apologies for lateness...bringing something to make up for it." Matthew sighed and patched in with REVIVE 4. "REVIVE 4 this is REVIVE 1 you took one hell of a time to get your ass off that ship and join us, we are moving with the convoy right near the front, hail an APC, Tank or Warthog and catch a ride, we can't stop so when the convoy halt's or reaches the AO we will regroup then... How copy?"

(OOC: Mind if I drop in? Only way I could think of to get my characters in, and its pretty in character for a Pelican to be about to crash...) PO2 Selina McGreggor Venom-5 Pilot |
"Mayday, I repeat, mayday! This is Venom-5, those robot things are on our tail, taking a shitload of heat here! Requesting assist!" Selina yelled over the roar of the Pelican's engines at full thrust, Sergio's spanish cursing, and the rattle of gunfire from the cargo compartment behind her. As soon as the things had shown up, the Marine Sergeant had screamed at her to open the rear hatch so they could try and fight off the hostiles. Selina had her hands full keeping them in the air, those lasers were tearing up her bird fast. "I repeat, this is Venom-5! Losing altitude and approaching the convoy, someone get these bastards off of us!Selina fought for every inch she could get, she had to keep them airborne long enough to reach friendlies, or she, her crew and the Marines in the back were all dead. Sergeant Andrew Deiran Indigo Squad Leader |
"Focus your fire on the closest, don't stop shooting till they go down!" Andrew barked, spraying full auto into a Sentinel less than 10 metres from the Pelican. Further rounds from Privates Tucker and Wong broke the machine's shields and send it hurtling groundwards. Further fire from Indigo and Venom-5's crew chief on the turret downed another pair, but they weren't bringing them down fast enough. Already one of the rear engines was crippled, and the hull was being reduced to a bubbling slag under the intense heat of the lasers. And worse, Chambers and Faith were already down, Smith and Sar- Corporal Linown, Andrew reminded himself, were trying their best to attend to them under the circumstances, but they couldn't do much with the rocky ride the Pelican was currently giving. "JUST KEEP HITTING 'EM!" He bellowed, reloading as fast as his hands would allow.

Flight Captain James Fawley
"Mayday, I repeat, mayday! This is Venom-5, those robot things are on our tail, taking a shitload of heat here! Requesting assist!" The Comm channel cracked to life, "I repeat, this is Venom-5! Losing altitude and approaching the convoy, someone get these bastards off of us!"
"Venom 5, this is Raptor 2 Actual, flight of two Vultures inbound for support, hang tight. Turn on heading towards the Arizona, and do it now!" The Captain responded, turning his Vulture towards the comm call, which linked right to his Vultures Display screen.
"Raptor 2-2, follow my lead!" The Captain said into the comm channel, "Roger that, Captain." The Pilot responded.
The Captain switched off his comm and turned on his teamcomm channel. "Weapons online?" He asked, "Arm the missiles. Both the side missiles and the rotating turret missiles. Pre-feed four rounds through out autocannons."
The crew did what they had, and slid slots opened reveling eight missiles that could almost match an ARCHER missile that the UNSC Navy used. The missile turrets rotated, reveling roughly one hundred and twenty air to air missiles per rotated turret.
The Autoguns fired away from the convoy, just a weapons test. The tree on the other side blew into chunks.
"All weapons online," The Co-Pilot said. "Autocannons responding, Missiles armed and we are ready to go."

Telus Teruines Chieftain planet Side |
Telus nodded, looking at the holo map. "We should advance, allow the Kig-yar and Unggoy to take the brunt of the fire" he turned to his kig-yar snipers "Set up along the far side, provide cover, i will paint high priority targets as i go." He turned to his captain "Captain you will come with me and my forces, once inside we will claim this holy structure for the covenant!" With that he waved the unggoy and Kigyar, with their minors leading them, forward in front of them, he then allowed his guards to gather around him. He then waved them forward, moving through the trees, he drew his shot gun and was ready for the 'holy' warriors to impede their progress, but the unggoy and Kig-Yar would hold them off with their plasma based weaponry.
