The UNSC have completed their objective and have recovered the Forerunner artefact which turned out to be an Artificial Intelligence in the form of an android, the UNSC SPARTAN team known as GOLD has escorted the objective to UNSCS Ares the Captain of the ship; Jonathon Michaels, has slip spaced out of the system at random coordinates away from Earth or any other UNSC controlled planet in the galaxy, while this happened UNSC forces begin to retreat from the sector, or ground forces returning to their respected ships, both UNSC and Covenant combined, collecting as many dead as they could on the way back up, Covenant begin to attack UNSC fleet as they attempt to retreat from the sector but both sides are engaged by a new threat.
Forerunner Defences have been activated and UNSC and Covenant fleet’s have been attacked by Forerunner drones or Sentinels, ship casualties have been recorded on both the Covenant and UNSC side, as Covenant and UNSC attempt to flee the system, Forerunner Shield World is activated and two port’s in the world open, two ships from each faction are pulled into the Shield world at different end’s of the planet, on the east side a supercruiser, The CNV Divine Harbinger and a frigate, the CNV Glorious Revenge have been pulled into the world while at the west side the UNSCS Arizona and a Destroyer called the UNSCS Titan have been pulled into the planet.
Once inside the planet ship-masters and Captains have discovered their main battle systems are disable by Forerunner defences and only Point Defence Gun’s are available at this time, in order to find a way out, ground forces from the Covenant side and UNSC have been ferried to the ground via Pelican’s and Phantom/Dropship’s, both factions being ordered to find the Shield Worlds control centre in order to find a way out, as the UNSC and Covenant mobilize on the ground, they struggle to complete their goal, both of them stepping in each other’s way while trying to deal with the Sentinels.
What the humans are not aware of though, is this planet have Forces called "Flood" in it. The world actually being a Forerunner shield world. The Covenant Forces know about the risk, but think that is only on the rings, or their "Holly Relics", but do not know they are inside the planet.
Both factions have started deploying in large numbers. Vehicles, Aircraft, Men and the sorts.
The Control room will be deactivated, as it is a prime goal, releasing the very dangerous and locked up threat that has a potential to destroy species in a whole.
Once the Flood has been released, there will be casualties... On both sides and a lot of them. You must now find a way to get the four warships out of the planet to successfully extract.
The chances are the flood will board the UNSC and Covenant vessels in the atmosphere inside the planet (The UNSCS Arizona is staying up due to Forerunner assistance.) unless the ground Forces are careful that the Flood don't capture ANY... NOT A SINGLE drop ship or other atmospheric vessels that can dock with the ships.
Good luck, this is M4 P2.
UNSC Objectives.
1) Mobilize ground forces and set up a temporary HQ on the ground in order to establish a rendezvous point and a MEDIVAC point. ***Establish a Forward Command post on the ground either on your own or inside a structure, Rear Command is in the UNSCS Arizona***
2) Located Shield World control room and deactivate defences so UNSC ship weaponry can be brought back online and space sentinels will be brought offline. ***WARNING: This actions disables ALL defences and will release ALL FLOOD Forces that were locked away on the planet***
3) Locate an exit big enough to fit the UNSCS Arizona and UNSCS Titan through and then find a way to open it and escape the planet.
4)Survive; It is imperative that you survive this mission and we have as little casualties as possible, a war on one front with the Covenant was bad enough we don’t need a war on three fronts.
COVENANT OBJECTIVES:
1) Mobilize ground forces and set up a temporary HQ on the ground in order to establish a rendezvous point and a MEDIVAC point. ***Establish a Forward Command post on the ground either on your own or inside a structure, Rear Command is in the CVN Glorious Revenge***
2) Located Shield World control room and deactivate defences so Covenant ship weaponry can be brought back online and space sentinels will be brought offline. ***WARNING: This actions disables ALL defences and will release ALL FLOOD Forces that were locked away on the planet***
3) Locate an exit big enough to fit the CVN Glorious Revenge and CNV Divine Harbinger through and then find a way to open it and escape the planet.
4)Survive; It is important for the Covenant to continue eliminating the heretics that continue to destroy our sacred relics with their filthy hands.
//NOTE: Ground forces are more or less setting up shop on the ground, don't straight away go fighting, sentinels will be around, but not as much as there will be later\\

The Pelican banked to the right, the building labeled as "Control Center?" closed in on the hud. The Arizona had dispatched the two pelicans to recon the area that they had observed from orbit when the planet rotated to reveal the larger Forerunner building on the surface of the planet.
The Pilot did the common sense question, chances are their would be Covenant Forces. Her wing-man accelerated then matched speed with the Lieutenant's bird.
"UNSC Arizona, Charlie Two-Four-Five and Two-Four-Six approaching recon position." The Lieutenant said into her comm channel. The female voice of the Arizona's Comm officer echoed inside the quite Pelican, all but the noise of her engines running. "Copy that, Charlie Two-Four-Five"
The structure loomed ahead and the Lieutenant touched some keys on the controls and the pelicans noise lifted, the thrusters switched to the VTOL maneuvering mode and the pelican slowed down.
Charlie 246 moved forward a tad, switched to maneuvering mode and slowly dropped towards the other side of the building. The Lieutenant swung his pelican around, the building disappeared and showed the sight of the landscape around it.
"Alright, Marines! Go, go, go!" The crew-chief yelled. The marines pilled out and did a quick scan of the area. Their weren't any Covenant Forces to be seen.
"Alright ground team, I'll stay on station in case the Covenant want to mess with our little party." The Pilot said through the proximity comm channel. He pushed the throttle forward, feeding fuel into the engines.
After the pelican floated upward, the pilot engaged the drive system, and the pelican shot forward, turned to the right and rejoined it's wing-man.
A small silvery metallic machine floated in front of the speeding pelicans, and the Lieutenant turned the bird in a 45 degree angle. What the fuck, the Lieutenant thought as he checked his systems... No damage.
"Whoa! What are those!" The Co-Pilot said as the machines started to surround the two pelicans that were now hovering.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the large doors parted, the twenty four man marine team stepped inside.
"Fifth and Sixth squad, cover the main entrance!" The Sergeant said. "Yes, Sarge!" A Marine said. Eight marines total turned and walked towards the door, reached a good defend-able position behind two large separated pillars.
The rest of the sixteen marines moved forward, four more peeling off after every door way.
Eventually the squad made it to the control room, and all eight marines stood amazed at the screen in front of them, however it was not a control room.
The holographic image had the planet rotating nearly ten times as fast as the real rotation, revealing the UNSC, Covenant and even... Hell, no one knew what the hell those things were.
"All UNSC Forces, prepare for EVAC. We have the asset we required for the mission." The Admirals voice boomed into the marine team's comm channel, and every other UNSC Force on the ground.
"Hey, Dexter. What was the asset?" The Sergeant radio'd the Pelican pilot.
"Hey, Sergeant. You won't believe what the hell is around us. They are... Machines, but I've never seen anything like them before." The Lieutenant replied.
"Hey, let's keep focus." The Sergeant said, a tad annoyed.
"Right, it was a forerunner drone or something." The Pilot replied.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Drones broke off, and engaged the two drop ships. The first of many red lasers slashed off the pelicans armor, but still damaging it.
"This is Charlie Two-Four-Five, we are under attack!" The Pilot screamed into the microphone.
To the right, Charlie 246 turned and started to use the 30MM autocannon mounted on the noise. A few of the machines exploded into a sizzling wreck that plummeted towards the planets surface, however 246 was over whelmed by the numbers of these new... Hostiles.
Charlie 246 took the beams to the rear nacelles, one of it's vectoring pylons. It started to turn towards the right, then the red beams connected with the left engine pylon, severing it from the Pelican.
Dexter watched in horror as Charlie 246 fell towards the planet in a 360 spin, as it's engine pylon spun at a much more rapid pace.
On that note, he jammed the throttle forward and the pelican launched away.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems like nine or ten bullets would take one of these things down. The eight man fireteam at the entrance was quickly overwhelmed, and the four man fireteam's at the next set of doors didn't fare well either.
The Sergeant raised his gun, pulled the trigger and watched as one of the machines exploded and crashed to the deck in a burning heap.
The remains from the fireteams outside the room regrouped with the Sergeant and his ten... Now six men, but the room was secure once again.
Overall, our of the twenty four marines, twelve had died under the red beam of this new floating machines.
"Burst fire your weapons!" The Sergeant spat.
"Sergeant! I'm inbound hot to pick you up, Charlie Two-Four-Six was destroyed, it's going to be cramped!" The Radio sputtered to life. "No it won't. We've got ground casualties." The Sergeant responded, opening up on the nearest machine, but it was too late. A young private received the red beam right to his throat. He slouched over and the pool of blood indicated he was already dead.
"Lets move!" The Sergeant barked!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Pelican turned sharply as the pilot brought the rear hatch to the pelican down onto the platform. The crew-chief grabbed a MA5B Assault Rifle and loaded it. The Co-Pilot climbed out of his seat and grabbed one also.
The machines followed the Pelican, and actually tried to enter the pelicans troop bay, but the two aviators cut them down with a concentrated angle of fire... They were in a Troop bay after all.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Sergeant burst out of the main door, firing behind him on fully auto. Screw his orders to burst fire. He was losing men, and fast. Inside, the corpses of fifteen marine would stay to rot unless they could get back inside to retrieve them, only nine marines made it back outside, but even less would make it to the pelican.
The squad fired at the larger group of the machines, bullets tinging off the metal. Most of them fell into a heap on the building raised platform.
The Sergeant noticed small arms fire come out from the pelican, they had to hurry or there way home would be destroyed. The Sergeant pulled the trigger, and his Assault weapon responded in a click. It was empty and there was no time to reload. The Sergeant made a run for it, as did the rest of the marines. Some of them turned to fire at the machines.
During the run, two marines got hit in the back from the red beams and screamed. Three marines departed to save them. A marine fired into the mass of machines, and many were hit and smoking before the soldiers was hit by three or four beams. He was killed instantly.
As four the other four soldiers, many red beams lanced the area. All five marines were killed. Only four marines were left, safely in the pelican.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Lieutenant feed fuel into the main engines as fast as he could, as a result the pelican shot forward once again. The marines fired from the back.
A few red beams nailed the pelican's main engine pylon, warning klaxon's blared to life. "We are losing it!" The Lieutenant said, struggling to maintain the straight path of flight.
More red beams hit the pelican, and before the Lieutenant could even react he lost control of his rear right vectoring pylon, it was completely destroyed. A marine in the back swore as he watched it detach from the pelican and fall towards the planet.
The Lieutenant struggled to keep the pelican in the air, as it slowly wanted to turn to the left because of the slightly more weight.
The pelican's left engine pylon received more red beams, and as a result exploded, launching the pelican forward and into a downward spiral. Two marines were flung into the air, and started the free fall towards the surface, the Lieutenant could hear their screaming.
Surprisingly, he managed to again get a hold of his bird using the maneuvering thrusters in the engine, but it wouldn't last for long.
As the ground approached, the Pilot cut the throttle, felt the pelican fall in the air, then he slammed the throttle forward, as a result the pelican leveled off, but for only a short time.
"They are trying to sever the tail!" A Marine said.
The machines concentrated their fire in the tail, the red beams finally making it past their armor. For every second the Lieutenant stayed in hover mode, the easier it was for them to destroy the pelican.
By the time he decided to push the pelican forward, the tail snapped off.
The Lieutenant gave a loud yell as he watched the pelicans noise go down, and towards the planet and resulted in a small explosion as the pelican made contact with the planets surface as the rocks, dirt, trees and even the ground shook as a large hole was created.
In orbit, four vessels were pulled into the planet.

Captain Travis Jenkins (O-3) First Force Recon; Able Company Shield World Surface (Inside) Jenkins had just finished unloading his Company of at least 225 Marines and finished giving them orders to secure the aream Jenkins gripped his MA37 tight and ran across a small field, there were no sign of Covenant here, and there were minimal Forerunner Sentinels around, which his Company was now engaging, so far his Company had taken no casualties and the small amount sentinels in the landing zone were now taken out, one minute on the ground and Jenkins was already being contacted by his Company 2iC and Second Platoon leader, Carwood Lipton. "Captain... 2nd Platoon has spotted a structure one hundred meters away from the drop zone, requesting permission to secure the area and engage any hostiles on site? Over" "Roger that Lipton... Move in with 2nd Platoon, 3rd Platoon will move in on your rear and set up shop around the entrance, 1st will set up a perimiter around the structure, Over"
"Affirmative Sir"Jenkins sighed and ran over to the structure, all of his 225 men were sprinting there also, trying to get to cover, from nothing that was firing at them, once Jenkins made it to the structure which was at least fifty by fifty meters square, and fifty or so meters tall with a triangle shaped sail of metal on the top, he turned around and sat by the entrance, 1st Platoon climbed the structure using ramps and set up Mortars on it and MG's all around the structure, 3rd Platoon was spread out inside the entrance of the structure and on the top aswell. "Captain... This is Lipton... I think you should take a look at this"
"Affirmative Lipton"Jenkins turned around and began to walk into the structure, he held his MA37 against his chest and was ready to use it, he stepped over a couple of broken sentinels that his Company had taken out on the way down, and Jenkins had only walked about twenty meters before he found 2nd Platoons 55 men walking down a spiraling ramp, every five meters it would level and a door would be present at each door ten men would break off, out of all the doors there were four and the stair case only went down about twenty meters. "This looks adiquite for a base of operations... Don't you think Captain?"
"Affirmative Litpon... Turn around"Jenkins turned to his 2iC who had turned his back to him, on his back was a high frequency radio, Jenkins grabbed the hand peice and radioed into his entire Company. "Third platoon, I want you down here on the double, we have found five extra floors, I want ten men to break off at each floor and the rest guard the passages, stairs and platform topside, this will be our HQ"Jenkins then stopped and radioed into the Vice Admiral of the UNSCS Arizona and to General Robert Sink. "Vice Admiral Klix and General Sink, I have found a large structure big enough to fit our ground forces in for a HQ and Evac point, the structure is 100 meters away from the drop point and the structure continues down for at least an extra thirty meters with four extra floors big enough for a temporary barracks, field hospital and command room, request you begin ferrying down medical supplies, food ammo and armor to set up temporary HQ... How copy?"Jenkins dropped the radio against Lipton's back and walked back down the hall and out of the structure, dropping his MA37 the gun just dropped against his side, being slung around his shoulder, he stepped out into the sun light and climbed the structure before actually taking a moment to look around the strange planet. "Woah... A sun inside a planet... Kinda creepy ay" He heard one marine say before another one spoke. "Yeah, hwo did we even get inside it? Last think I remember is everyone panicing telling us to retreat then this happened." "I don't know man... This war get's more fucked up every rotation" "You got that right.

Vice Admiral Klix Location: INSIDE a planet.
"You're telling me we were dragged through the planet, our weapons were disabled and we can't reach the UNSC fleet outside of it!" The Admiral yelled, clearly confused on what the hell just happened.
"No, sir!" A few voiced responded. "Weapons. I see two Covenant son of a bitches on the other side, I want my SMAC online!" The Admiral said. "Sir, I can't. What ever those beams were on the way in disabled our accelerators. We can't even get a point zero one charge." The Weapons officer said. "However, I do have Point Defense Guns."
The Admiral signed again. Point Defense Guns? Really? It would be like trying to take down a SPARTAN with a paper clip.
"Sir, incoming message from our ground team." The Comms officer replied.
""Vice Admiral Klix and General Sink, I have found a large structure big enough to fit our ground forces in for a HQ and Evac point, the structure is 100 meters away from the drop point and the structure continues down for at least an extra thirty meters with four extra floors big enough for a temporary barracks, field hospital and command room, request you begin ferrying down medical supplies, food ammo and armor to set up temporary HQ... How copy?" The mans voice said.
"Open up the channel." The Admiral said to his comm officer. "Channel open, Admiral" The woman responded.
"Captain. Your request has been granted. All UNSC Arizona's contingent is being deployed. Grizzlies, Pelicans, a Mini-MAC Launcher and plenty of Warthog's are available." The Admiral sighed. "If it's not to much to ask, I would like you on the Arizona for a "What the fuck just happened" report." The Admiral finished, then motioned towards the Comms officer to cut the channel.
"Alright, now open a UNSC wide transmission. We are being blocked from the outside fleet right?" The Admiral asked. "I don't know if it's they can reach us or we can't reach them, so I'm not sure, Admiral." The Comms officer replied. "Fine. Get me the proximity channel, and secure it." The Admiral ordered.
"Channel secure and online." The Comms officer replied.
"This is the UNSC Arizona to all UNSC Forces that can hear this. We are.... Are inside a planet. I commanding officers from the ground on my ship, and any officer still on board in the Situation room in thirty minutes. UNSC Arizona out." The Admiral said, before manually cutting the channel.
"Keep an eye out of those two Covenant vessels." The Admiral said. They may be powered down, but they are still extremely dangerous.

Captain Travis Jenkins (O-3) First Force Recon; Able Company Shield World Surface (Inside) "Captain. Your request has been granted. All UNSC Arizona's contingent is being deployed. Grizzlies, Pelicans, a Mini-MAC Launcher and plenty of Warthog's are available." A small audible sigh was heard. "If it's not to much to ask, I would like you on the Arizona for a "What the fuck just happened" report."
"Affirmative Admiral... I will take the first Pelican up"Jenkins looked from left to right before moving down one of the structures ramp's and running out to a pelican that had just landed with a Scorpion tank, he gripped his MA37 to stop it from banging against his leg and once he made it to the drop ship he jumped inside the infantry compartment and moved up to the pilots seat. "Pilot... Can you take me back up to the Arizona?"
"Affirmative Sir"Jenkins nodded and patted the woman on the shoulder before turning around and taking a seat, he sat down just in time to see the scropion tank on the back detach and the Pelican angle it's thrusters and shoot the bird almost exactly vertically, Jenkins gripped the seat of the Pelican and closed his eye's as he felt the G forces pound down against him as the Pelican rocketed up. Two minutes passed and the Pelican had just docked into one of the UNSCS Arizona, once the pelican was docked Jenkins jumped out and watched as the Pelican hooked onto a MINI-MAC Artillery launcher with the help of another and got ready to take it down to the surface, Jenkins smiled as he saw the huge peice of artillery before moving out of the hanger and into one of the ships hallways, he took two lefts and a right before reaching the central elevator, he took it all the way up to the command deck before jogging down the hall twenty meters. Jenkins stopped and took off his helmet, he tucked it under his left arm and gripped his MA37 and held it against himself with his right arm, Jenkins took in a breath and stepped into the situation room instantly saluting to any of the officers already on the deck. "Reporting as requested!"

Captain Sierra Lloyd Sierra had just touched down with her company on the odd planet they'd jumped to. The last mission had been a great success, which was good - but now, instead of getting sent home, they'd ended up here because of pursuing Covenant forces. Where "here" was, Lloyd wasn't quite sure herself. She just knew that she had yet another job to do before before she could hope to see her three kids on Kholo again. "Platoon leaders, report," she said into the COM after doing a slow, visual scan of the area. She gripped her BR55 hard as she waited for the responses. When the COM crackled, she was expecting the voices of her lieutenants. What came through instead was a message from the fleet, orbiting high above. "This is the UNSC Arizona to all UNSC Forces that can hear this. We are.... Are inside a planet. I commanding officers from the ground on my ship, and any officer still on board in the Situation room in thirty minutes. UNSC Arizona out." Shit, Lloyd thought to herself. And here she was, already groundside. She'd have to take a transport back up. The captain keyed her COM for the second time to her XO. "James, Alpha is yours until I get back. Please don't return them to me in pieces." There was a small chuckle on the other end as Lieutenant James replied, "Wilco, Captain. Have a safe flight." Sierra slung her battle rifle across her back then and loaded up in the nearest Pelican. She was back aboard the Arizona shortly. When the Marine captain finally reached the right deck for the meeting the Admiral had ordered, Lloyd noticed two others in particular were already there - Captain Travis Jenkins, commander of Able Company, and her husband, Captain Dylan Lloyd, who commanded his Helljumper company, Charlie. Sierra snapped a quick salute before exchanging any greetings with the occupants of the room. "Sir, Captain Lloyd, commanding Alpha Company Marines. Ready for orders."

MimYap Special operations Major Ground side MimYap watched with interest as the silver relics floated around their phantom, gliding through the air like the beautiful fire flashes of his home planet. He loved the warmth the inside of this planet gave, coming from his own icy planet, he had learned to cherish warmth whenever it was given. He wished he could stay in the warmth... "Be careful what you wish for..."The familiar voice said, causing MimYap to become annoyed. "What you know? You just a voice..." he said into his shoulder. He was ripped from his 'conversation' when Lumlum gently touched his forearm. "Is little boss ok?" she asked, using the pet name they had given him. He jumped at her touch and spun. "Of course i'm ok!" he said, using his sangheili voice. Lumlum jumped at his sudden anger. She then looked down and waddle away, leaving MimYap with a head ache and a deep sadness. The ship shook as they touched down and Kels' superior stood up over them and called out to the other operators on the ship. "As special operations we have been told to spread out and scout out a place to land our troopers. Fulumee and gebusee, your lance will be forward scouting." With those words two of the four elite minors stood and hopped off the phantom, taking their lance of grunts with them. The sangheili looked at Kels. "im having your lance move north to set up a general communications relay. We will be sending some worker unggoy for you to guard get to it." With that Kels stood and jumped off the phantom, MimYap waved his lance forward after Kels. He jumped, and landed, gracefully on three legs, then ran to catch up with Kels. Lumlum ran next to him while the rest hung back, still keeping to a tight formation. After moving away from the view of the phantom kels stopped and turned to MimYap. "MimYap, i trust you to lead the lance while i do the real work of scouting." MimYap nodded at Kels who then gave him a smirk before turning on his optic camouflage and disappearing into the under brush. MimYap let out a sigh and turned, almost running into Lumlum who was right behind him. He grunted at her. "Why does Big boss always leave little boss in charge?" she asked as they made their way back to the worker unggoy. MimYap thought for a little. "Because, i know what i am doing..." he said to her, still speaking as a superior. She looked at him with what he thought was an envious look, it was hard to tell through their masks. He patted her on the the head "Its ok little boss know what do." he said speaking in a less superior fashion. This caused Lumlum to squeak slightly and speed up. "i think she likes you..." the voice said, butting into his mind. "Good for her, me no need any one to like me, me as a sangheili, Honorable..." he said the last part with less conviction than the rest. He didn't think he could have any 'real' honor as an unggoy... The voice picked up the slight sound of humming engines and alerted MimYap. "look up." it said causing him to look to the sky to find one of the floating relics. It was just looking at him....he didn't like it. He suddenly burst forward, moving on all fours. He broke through to find himself at the phantom landing zone with the rest of his lance and the worker unggoy. He looked up, and found the skies to be clear. He let out a sigh and turned to the workers. "Listen up, we are going to move out, so grab all of your equipment, if i find that ny of you have left ANY thing behind, i will personally skin you!" he said, his voice turning to a high pitched roar towards the end of his orders. The unggoy were scarred by the shouting and scrambled about, gabbing all of their equipment and packing it away. After they said they were ready, he looked over the entire landing zone. Finding nothing left behind he nodded and made a waving motion, causing his team to move in formation around the worker unggoy. They had a long march, and the day was just beginning.

Vice Admiral Klix Location: Unknown
The Admiral returned most of the salutes, then finally showed everyone the nice leather seats in the Situation Room. He wanted to know what the hell was going on, but he also had some things. In the room were around six or seven soldiers, including the likes of both Captain Lloyd's, Captain Travis Jenkins, a Platoon Commander, Second Lieutenant Killinger and finally a member of the Airzona's Air Force contingent, Flight Captain James Fawley.
The Admiral stood up, and activated the screen. "As you can see we are inside the planet now, our weapons are disabled." The Admiral said, clicking to the new camera angle, showing the two Covenant vessels also inside the planet. "We do have Covenant Forces deploying as well." He added, zooming in on the steady increase of drop-ships leaving the rather large ship and the other one.
"Our objectives are very simple. The things pose a huge threat, as they've taken out a few Covenant and UNSC ships in space, and killed at least forty thousand troops on the ground before we were able to actually pull back." The Admiral said. "Dino, can you get us the location of them on the ground right now?" The Admiral asked.
The AI appeared on the table, thanks to the holo table build into it. "Admiral, the sentinels are making their approach. However, I do recall we have Point Defense Weapons, so it shouldn't be a problem. However, I've noticed one of the large sentinels that engaged the fleets has come through the hole we just came through." The AI responded.
"Alright. So I'm assuming this... Sentinels... that's what we are calling them?" He paused for a second.. "Nevermind. Anyways, I'm assuming their is a control room. We need to find it so they are disabled. We also need to find an exit for our vessels. Can you officers do this?" The Admiral asked.
He sat down, and awaited responses.

Captain Sierra Lloyd At first, Sierra had been impressed with the accommodations in the room. Leather chairs. Nice, she thought. A Marine out in the field should be so lucky. Most of the time, if she were able to find a dry hole in the dirt to catch a brief nap in and some time between mortar strikes for a water bottle shower and half an MRE, that was a damn good day. Leather seats on a climate-controlled ship - that was just plain luxury. Captain Lloyd soon discovered that the sense of comfort wasn't going to last very long. She still knew that the situation in the bigger picture was a bad one, and one that even defied logic. They were currently inside of a planet. How the fu - Then she heard the one thing she wished she hadn't. Forty thousand dead on the ground from these newfound enemy forces, the Admiral had said. Sierra exchanged a quick, solemn glance with Dylan, seated beside her at the table. Then she brought her left hand up to her face and pinched the bridge of her nose. Jesus Christ, the captain thought. They mean business. And obviously this means they're protecting something very important here."Alright. So I'm assuming this... Sentinels... that's what we are calling them? Nevermind. Anyways, I'm assuming their is a control room. We need to find it so they are disabled. We also need to find an exit for our vessels. Can you officers do this?" Admiral Klix said then. Sierra reopened her eyes and interlocked her fingers before her on the table. She was as ready as she ever was for any mission. "Yes, sir," she said. "We'll get the job done, Admiral." "Same here, sir," Dylan added. "My Helljumpers are itching for another fight." Sierra snorted to herself. "They better be prepared. This isn't just the Covenant or the Innies anymore. This is a whole new can of worms we've just opened up."

Tehlu Kusovai, Shipmaster of the Supercarrier, CNV Divine Harbinger
"Damn the heretics!" roared Tehlu, slamming his fist into the arm rest of his seat. "I am to understand that we have been trapped in the atmosphere this world, with no method of communicating with the fleet, by those filthy vermin?"
"Sir!" called K'rona, in an attempt to gain his superior's attention, to no avail.
"I will not have this! Charge the enrgy projectors! Prepare to blow them from the sky!
"Shipmaster!" implored the Master of Weapons once more.
"What?!" snarled Tehlu, whipping around to face the ultra. He couldn;t have been more intimidating if he were frothing at the mouth!
"Energy projectors are offline, your excellency. As are all plasma torpedos. The only weapons we are able to fire are pulse lasers." At this, the zealot was dumbfounded. Sliding back into his seat, he cursed aloud, staring out the viewport for several seconds before turning to his Communications Master.
"Major, tell the Choir Master to begin ferrying troops and supplies down to the surface with all of the dropships we posess. Send word for the Glorious Revenge to do the same. We will set up a temporary headquarters in one of the structures below. Additionaly, tell him to deploy ten choirs of seraphs to guard our dropships from any human attack. We will not deploy the Scarab unless it is deemed absolutely necessary." Turning back to his weapons master, Tehlu spoke again,
"K'rona, ready all pulse lasers. The moment a human vessel comes withing range, I want it torn apart. If the same is true of all of their weapon systems but point defense, then they will be no match for us in a battle."
Sighing again, Tehlu thumped back into his "throne" of sorts. The humans would pay for their deception!

Captain Travis Jenkins (O-3) First Force Recon; Able Company UNSCS Arizona - Operations Room Jenkins stood there for about half a minute and in that minute who saw two seperate Captains walk into the operations room, one Marine Captain Sierra Lloyd, and the other an ODST Captain Dylan Lloyd Jenkins achknolaged the two by nodding towards them, and once Jenkins was gestured to one of the comfy leather seat's his mouth almost dropped off his head, the Marine looked to the Admiral before taking a seat. As he sat down the seat was almost instantly covered in dust from the surface outside the shield world, Jenkins had cut's and dirt all over his face and infront of him sat a perfectly groomed Admiral, Jenkins smirked before listening to what the Admiral had to say. "Alright. So I'm assuming this... Sentinels... that's what we are calling them? Nevermind. Anyways, I'm assuming their is a control room. We need to find it so they are disabled. We also need to find an exit for our vessels. Can you officers do this?" Admiral Klix said to them. Jenkins smiled before adjusting his MA37 so it was on his lap, he then grabbed a muslie bar from his webbing and tor the top open, thinking this was a good time to eat, he took a bite out, chewed on it first before swallowing. "We'll do it Sir..." Brenndan was cut short of his sentence when his Company 2iC, 1st Lieutenant Lipton raised him over the COM's. "Sir... Temporary field HQ is almost up and running, their sending down medical supplies, offiers and a few naval personnel down to keep it running, we also have some armor around, How copy?" Jenkins looked to the two Captains then to the Admiral holding up one finger before turning his head and responding. "Affirmative Lipton... I'll be down shortly."

Major Domo Til ‘Muramee Aboard Covenant Phantom Lidless Viligance, en route to designated dropping zone
Everyone was on nervous edge and bubbling bloodthirst, because their normally calm leader was furious at the enemy and…himself. Til ‘Muramee, Great Hunter of the Templar’s Rest, Major Domo and legionnaire of the Du’Kahi Legion, and warrior of the Muram Desert, couldn’t find his way into, possibly, the greatest discovery for his generation, and failed to help the Arbiter in securing the relic. In all places, a desert! He couldn’t navigate through a sandstorm-something he have done multiple times before- and led his lance into a ambush with the humans and their accursed Imps. Nothing but shame and fury throbbed through his being. The thought of cleansing his clan’s honor came to mind multiple times but, with desperate persuasion from Igri and Skor, averted him from killing himself just yet. He will regain honor by helping reaquire, or at least destroy, the Artifact from the Humans’ grasp with no mercy in mind. Striding between two lances-mostly his own and the few belonging to his temporary co-leader, Major ‘Urudee-Til spoke loud and clear for all to hear in the humming bay, “For those who don’t know me, I am Major Domo Til ‘Muramee! I am the one to lead all to establish a vital foothold on this holy place to help us get to the control room the Ship Master has found.” Nodding to ‘Urudee, Til watched as a holographic figure of a pyramid-like structure appeared infront of his counterpart, stopping beside him and looked at the warriors filed before them. “It is protected by the Sentinels of the Forerunners. Aerial units armed with powerful energy beams that can burn through flesh and armor with little trouble but its armor is not advanced enough to hold against our plasma-based weaponry. In case we have the unfornatune displeasure of encountering them, I want the Sangheili and shielded Kig-yar to stand infront to protect our Unggoy brothers. Our energy shields gives us more a chance of surviving, enough time to counterattack, and those plasma pistols will overcharge to effective overload their circuitries.” As he briefed on how to take down the Sentinels, Til saw some disagreeing appearances on a few Sangheili and Kig-yar but he didn’t care, everyone under his command will fight with precision and skill.
If they be killed, why not die knowing you died by your failures, then the failure of your commander’s instructions or ineffective coordination?
“And on the glorious chance that we find the Heretics on the foothold or any other missions, I want to see them get what they deserve for their heinous transgressions against the Covenant’s holy mission. I want to see no cowardice, no fear of our enemies, only the fear to pierce your heart is the pricing of failing in your mission.” Til explained, looking at everyone before finishing with a threatening tone, “Do I make myself clear?” All of his soldiers straightened and announced, “Yes, honorable Major Domo!”
With a rapid click of throat and tusks, Til straightened his height and put his hands behind his back. “Good, I would expect nothing but warriors.” He said before walking towards to Skor and L’sae.
“I promise to bring you both the glory you deserve.” Til said with a gloomed look in his eye before looking to L’sae. “I wish I could have been a better leader on your first relic mission, young L’Sae, but this one will bring you much glory, a boon for one of your status.” Before the Minor could answer, Viligance’s pilot’s voice echoed into the bay, “Major Domo, we are quickly approaching the drop site in 6 semi-units.”
“Excellent.” Til whispered before speaking out, “Warriors, prepare for any danger and show them what the wrath of the Covenant will bring!” The Sangheili roared in excitement and got into positions, plasma and needle pistols and rifles in everyone’s hands, with Til holding his dual plasma rifles in his own. The side bays started to open, “Area is visually clear, Major Domo. Perparing drop now!” The pilot informed and the moment the bays were open enough, Til was the first to jump out, followed by his unit.
Landing with ease, they found themselves in a large grassy clearing. “Clear!” Skor announced, followed by a fellow clears from the others. “Files, scout out to the radius of thirty units! Destroy any opposition and report your findings every five semi-units!” Til ordered, eye wary for anything. Anything human. Speaking of human, Sufang came with their human prisoner on tow, bonded and in close watch. “Why do we keep L’sae’s pet?” The annoyed Sufang asked, knocking the human to the ground.
“It will prove useful.” Til answered and started to watch as phantoms and spirits started to approach with Sentinels manuevering through the skies like birds, soon dropping a Special Operator lance out near him.

L'Sae was glad to be back on solid ground, and in a place as beautiful as this. It would be a shame to bring war here but it was necessary. He watched the sentinels fly over head in deep curiosity. It was amazing for something to be so artificial yet alive. The grass made him feel at home, yet it wasn't. He longed to get this over with so he could make it back to his homeland. Until then, he would have to be content with what he had.
He looked around and spotted the human he brought with them. It looked tired and exhausted and watched as the human was knocked over so easily. Humans were delicate and fragile like glass, but even glass can cut. He approached Sufang, Major Domo Til with medium stride. "Greetings Major Domo Til." He nodded his recognition and turned his head to the human and spoke to him in imperfect english, "Keep you together, stay strong, and do as you are told..... It will keep you alive human"

Vice Admiral Klix
"Alright people. You've got your orders, dismissed!" The Admiral said, stood up, saluted the men and women in side and stopped at the door. "Captain Jenkins, when this mission is done, assuming you do survive, you get to clean that chair..." The Admiral said, in a joking matter, walking away laughing.
The Admiral slouched down by the elevator to the bridge, thinking. We really are in a planet, with no weapons to take out the Covenant ships that are in the SAME planet.
Then the doors parted, and two crewmen walked right past, didn't even notice him. It didn't matter, they were probably busy going towards the hanger for the full force deployment.
Second Lieutenant Killinger
The Admiral saluted the guys, told a Captain that he would have to clean the chair, but it sounded more like a joke, maybe trying to lighten the mood that the fucking UNSC Forces were trapped inside a hostile planet.
He turned to Captain Sierra Lloyd. "Ma'am, I'll have the rest of second platoon down with in the hour. Had a tough time with a private. Won't happen again." The Lieutenant said.
With that note, he saluted. "Now ma'am, I'm going to get to the hanger." He added, turned and jogged out of the room, down the maze of hallways, intersections and corridors and finally into the hanger, were the rest of Second Platoon was already waiting, the six that haven't dropped yet, one of which was Hicks.
"Get on the pelicans!" Killinger ordered. The six soldiers climbed onto a pelican that had one of twenty five "Grizzy" battle tanks to it. Beasts of a tank, two barrels, HE rounds.. A marine couldn't ask for any better support, until one of the mobile artillery pieces moved, a AC-220 Vulture Gunship.
Flight Captain James Fawley
"UNSC Arizona, this is Raptor Actual. Requesting clearance to leave the ship." He said into his comm. "Raptor, you and your flight have permission to leave." The woman replied.
He pushed the throttle forward and keyed a few buttons. The bay doors cracked open, revealed the planet and two Covenant vessels off in the distance.
The two Vulture aircraft angled downward, and towards the planet. They were free, free to kill any Covenant son of a bitch he could find.
He carefully checked the guns, made sure the safties were unlocked and the gun had rounds in the chamber. The Vulture was damn powerful.
He checked the missiles next, two rotating turrets near the back and a silo of eight A-74 Sylver Vertical Missiles to the sides, all operating and showing green.
Why is the Arizona's Weapons disabled, but not mine? The Flight Captain wondered.

Captains Dylan and Sierra Lloyd "Alright people. You've got your orders, dismissed!" Klix barked. Then, turning to the other Marine company commander in the room, the admiral said, "Captain Jenkins, when this mission is done, assuming you do survive, you get to clean that chair..." A corner of Sierra's lips turned upward. It was always nice to be led by a man with a sense of humor. That way you felt less shitty about the terrible situation you were in. She glanced over at Jenkins to gauge his reaction, then saluted back to the Admiral and stepped out of the room. Dylan followed behind. "So what's your plan going to be?" he asked her. Sierra sighed as she adjusted the strap of her weapon, slung behind her back. "I don't know yet. I need to talk to Jenkins, try to coordinate our troops. I don't want us overlapping too much when we'd do better to cover all our angles. Maybe if he's going to take control of the forward CP, I can go with Alpha and see if we can't find the control room to this place." "So does that mean you'll be wanting Charlie as backup?" The Marine captain stopped to give her husband an amused look. "When in hell have you troopers ever taken the backseat to the regulars?" "I'd be willing to make some sacrifices on my pride to make sure you don't end up in a ditch somewhere." It was Dylan's turn to sigh this time. "You heard the admiral, Sierra. There've already been over forty thousand killed. Forty thousand. My Helljumpers may be begging for a good brawl, but we've gotta tread lightly." Eventually Sierra nodded. "Fine. Just let me talk to Jenkins first. I'll keep you informed." Since it was inappropriate to do much more at the time, the captain took her husband's hand in hers for a moment and squeezed. "Be careful, D. I'll see you on the ground." Just as she'd turned to speak to the other Marine captain, however, one of her platoon leaders approached. It was Second Lieutenant Killinger. She'd been wondering why he hadn't been down on the surface yet. Before she could ask, he said, "Ma'am, I'll have the rest of second platoon down with in the hour. Had a tough time with a private. Won't happen again." "Better not, Lieutenant," Sierra responded. But she wasn't too worried. She knew that Killinger was normally reliable. The lieutenant saluted her. "Now ma'am, I'm going to get to the hanger." And with that, he was off. Captain Lloyd now finally had the chance to speak to Jenkins before she boarded her own transport planetside. She approached him with a slight nod of acknowledgment. "Captain, wanted to run an idea by you so that we don't overcompensate in some areas on the ground while leaving others vulnerable. I heard you've already got the CP set up down there on the surface, so I was thinking I'd take Alpha on a treasure hunt while you hold down the fort and keep that area clear." Lloyd smirked. "And by treasure, I mean that control room."

Captain Travis Jenkins (O-3) First Force Recon; Able Company UNSCS Arizona - Operations Room "Alright people. You've got your orders, dismissed!" Klix barked. "Captain Jenkins, when this mission is done, assuming you do survive, you get to clean that chair..."Jenkins got up and looked to Sierra then to the chair then to Admiral Klix, then back to his chair, he then smirked, his smirk turning into a small smile, he turned to face the Admiral he then stood at attention and saluted before speaking. "I will be sure to bring my tooth brush Sir!"Jenkins smiled before walking out of the room and sliding on some gold plated sun glasses, Jenkins then walked casually out of the hall in a small strut, holding his MA37 by his side with one hand and holding his helmet with his left hand, Jenkins smiled as he made his way to the central elevator and once he was there he pressed a button to go down two decks, two more minutes and he made it to one of the hangers, just as he was about to walk in he was confronted by Captain Sierra Lloyd. "Captain, wanted to run an idea by you so that we don't overcompensate in some areas on the ground while leaving others vulnerable. I heard you've already got the CP set up down there on the surface, so I was thinking I'd take Alpha on a treasure hunt while you hold down the fort and keep that area clear." The woman smiled before going on. "And by treasure, I mean that control room."Jenkins stopped lowered his sunnys down the bridge of his nsoe slightly before eyeing Sierra, he then squinted his eye's and nodded before sliding his sunny's back up and looking into the hanger as he spoke. "Roger that... But don't hog all the fun will you Sierra"Jenkins smiled and walked passed the Captain and into the hanger, he then turned around and saluted here before moving further in, he then slid his helmet on and took his sun glasses off hooking it around the neck of his armor, he then linked up COM's with the Captain."My Company will be on stand by Lloyd I got a full 225 men to spare, don't hesitate to ask"Jenkins mounted a pelican and sat down with a group of naval personnel, a few minutes passed and the pelican took off and led back down to the ground, it took a whole minute for the Pelican to touch down and once it did Jenkins piled out and made his way back to the HQ his Company secure, he walked up to the cave like doorway and two men guarding it saluted him as he walked through into the corridor, when he entered he noticed straight away the the hall was piled with boxes and ammunition. Jenkins continued to walk down the coirridor and finally stopped once he reached the spiraling ramp way that moved all the way down about twenty meters all the way to a grated plate hatch, Jenkins stopped and looked at a man who was staring at him, it was a private from his Company, Jenkins eyed him before looking down the spiraling ramp way. "They filled up quick didn't they?"
"Sure did Sir... We have a barracks, ammunition bay, medical bay and an ops room... The General came in not to long before your self and moved into the ops room."Jenkins smiled and nodded before turning to face the man. "General... What you mean general sink?"
"Yes Sir... He and the ONI Brass came down here aswell, the ops room is like the ops room back on the ship... There are holo-tables and computes all over the place."
"Huh... I might take a look... Thank you private"

Lucy Grey
The Falcon lowered itself down from the ships and darted for ground level landing point, inside, Lucy and her squad sat. "Check your weapons boys, might have some fun to deal with when we hit the ground, be it Covenant, or otherwise."
Alex and Anders were on the left and right outer seats, Lucy was sitting next to Cox on the front side seat, and Stroud and Jackson were on the other side of the ride.
Jackson loaded a magazine into his sniper, Alex checked his Launcher before tossing it back inside and under the seat, and Anders was already scoping things out with his DMR.
They were maybe fifty feet from the ground.
And then suddenly, the Falcon shook and Anders along with Alex started firing.
a Red beam met Anders's hand which held his DMR. The DMR was fried, and Anders yelled out in pain before drawing his pistol and doing what he could to whatever was hitting them
Jackson peeked out as much he could and started shooting his sniper.
Next thing she knew five Red beams met the left engine of the Falcon.
"Son of a bitch!" The pilot yelled. "I-I can't hold it up for much longer gonna have to drop you off earl- GAH!" It was met by a low humming noise and then the Falcon began to spin towards the ground.
"Hold on boys, this just got interesting!" Lucy yelled out, grabbing the side of the Falcon as it spun and hit the ground.
------
Boom
The sickening sound of impact...
The crunch of metal on something else.
The force of the crash...
The Falcon was upside down now... Lucy's head hung. slowly her eyes opened and she blinked a few times. Stroud and Cox weren't in the seats anymore, Jackson's tall form could be seen standing just outside of the crash, looking around the area.
Reaching up to her seat belt she unlocked it and tumbled down on to her back.
Looking to her left, she could see Alex focing a slab of metal off of him. To her right, she could see Anders standing and holding his helmet in his hands, putting it on before looking at the hand that had taken a minor shot from the beam. It was burned, but not too bad. Could be compared to when you accidentally touch a hot pan for a split second.
Crawling out Lucy stopped and sat. She had to weapons at this point, she had no clue where her Shotgun or MA5C were. Sitting there for a moment she reached down and drew her M6D. Would have to do till she grabbed something better.
"Pilots dead." Anders said. "Died either from the beam, or form impact... Cant tell..."
Lucy nodded before reaching up to her helmet and speaking into the COMM.
"This is ODST Lunar Squad.... fucking Falcon was shot down by four or five of those... things... Pilots dead, me and my squad are stuck on foot. What are exact Orders?"
Eden Lawrence, REVIVE-2
"REVIVE, we are dropping you off with your Warthog" The pilot said, waking Eden form her short nap, halfway through her nightmare. Rubbing her eyes and then putting her helmet on she crossed her arms and shrugged. "Lets do this guys, sooner i get out of here, sooner i can have a beer.. .Maybe a good night sleep for once." She said, loading her Magnum.
Yawning, she stretched out and stood as the Pelican opened up. Casually stepping out with her Assault Rifle on her back, and Magnum in her hands as she lazily put her helmet on with one hand and stepped out.
"Where are we again? I think i was asleep when everyone was Spazing out.." she said, looking at the other team members before looking back at the Heavy Assault Warthog. "I call gun!" she said, sprinting off to it and jumping in.
---------------------
Rakath V'keelaii
The Phantom made its way to the landing zone and stopped. Rakath and three other large forms of Spec-Ops Elites landed on the ground.
"Is this another Holy Structure?" Hazaii asked, looking up at a structure to their left.
Rakath growled slightly and traced his thumb across his neck to order his loud comrade to be silent. Ever so slowly they made their way to the structure, Rakath traced his hand across the smooth metal of the hallway as he moved down at a slight angle.
Coming out into a decently sized room, he looked around and scanned the room. It was large, but it would not fit the Covenant for a command post in his mind. So, before Hazaii opened his large mouth and told them so, Rakath grabbed the younger Elite's wrist befor ehe activated his commlink and forced it down to his side.
"We must keep searching, this will not fit the Covenant as a base of operations.
Hazaii glared at him, and within a moment the other two Elites, Renmee and Kallmee had hands on their unlit sword hilts, Rakath's hand on the Brute Revolver on his hip.
"Do not question my orders... Child..." Rakath said in a threatening tone before turning and slowly walking away, ordering each of his team members to fade into camouflage with a hand signal.
Moving out through the entrance again, Rakath and his Lance moved down a ways before seeing many forms ahead of them. Pointing to Kallmee and then to the group, the youngest of the three warriors stepped up and zoomed in with his focus Rifle.
"Unggoy, and one of our Brothers... Spec-Ops at that, with some workers... Should assist them..." He said. And without a second thought Rakath shut off his invisibility and ordered each of them to follow.
Approaching the Lance in a Sprint, they stopped a few feet away and walked alongside them.
"Brother..." He said, referring to the leader of the other Spec-Ops lance. "Might you be in need of any assistance transporting the Unggoy?" Rakath asked, his hand holding the Revolver tightly in his hand as he walked, each of his Lance members walking behind them with their hand son their preferred weaponry. Kallmee had his Focus Rifle, Hazaii a Concussion Rifle, and lastly Renmee holding the unlit energy sword in one hand, and then another, a Plasma Rifle.
(OOC; THERE Tin, enjoy pestering Rakath like you pestered me for this xD, also im going to let you set the scene for Green Squad cause i don't feel like it)

Private Dean 'Coxy' Cox Reaper Platoon: Lunar Squad Surface Inside Shield-World Cox grunted once, he was numb all over, but that kind of numb feeling where you felt like a bag of shit and every bone in your body ached like a mother fucker, Cox's eye's flutered open and the ODST rolled himself over onto his back, everything was dark for a moment before his vision came back, Cox looked left and right, his HUD was broken and there was a hole right over his left eye in the visor. Fuck.He thought before hauling himself up, there was no sign of the wreckage, could he have fallen out just before it touched down, Cox didn;t know, Cox grunted and doubled over, he looked left and right again and found his Sniper Rifle System 99 Anti-Matériel five meters away from him, Cox moved over and picked it up before holding it against his chest. Cox looked left and right before looking up at the sun in the centre of the planet, he was freaked out, but not as much as most men would be, Cox then turned around in a full 360 rotation before deciding to head where he thought was north, which was the complete opposite direction where Z and the rest of Lunar landed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After five minutes of walking Cox managed to find himself at the edge of a Cliff face, Cox layed down against the mountain and looked down the scope of his sniper zooming in to the maximum setting, Cox saw faint glimmers in the distance, silverish glimmers, Cox thought they were structures, but what he did not know is that they were Sentinels searching for survivors.

Special Operations Officer Sorsa 'Xirsasai Sorsa triple checked his armor, weapons, and equipment, making sure everything was secure. He shifted his weight as the Phantom made a sharp turn, making almost every Special Operator wobble, arms going out as they tried to regain their balance. "Officer Xirsasai, we land in thirty seconds." The pilot said, fingers busily roving over the holographic control panels. "Engage active camouflage." Sorsa intoned, vanishing from sight. The creche of Special Operators followed suit, each fading from sight. The phantom jerked as it slowed, then lowered. The sides opened, disgorging Intervention Creche. "Follow me." Sorsa said over the COM, gripping his needle rifle reassuringly. With several rustles of movement, the creche vanished into the trees. Second Lieutenant Simon Qartal "OI!" Simon bellowed after Eden, his expression mostly joking. "That's my job, missy!" He gripped his MA5C with underslung grenade launcher as he jogged to the Warthog, skidding to a stop at the passenger seat. "At least I still get shotgun..." He sprang agilely into the 'hog, settling into the seat with a mock sigh of contentment. First Lieutenant Isin Herald Isin leaned back in his outside seat on the Falcon, glancing at the sun, the environment, and several Forerunner drones flitting about some distance away. He looked back to Sergeant Freis, then found his gaze focusing on Corporal Cairns. He tore his gaze from his former lover, trying to reorganize his thoughts. As he looked up once more, he froze as he stared into the red "eye" of a drone hovering about three meters in front of him. As one, the drone's eye glowed brighter, and Isin reached for the M90 magnetized on Corporal Fisher's back. He pulled the shotgun into his hands, flicked off the safe, and squeezed the trigger as he aimed at the drone. The roar of a shotgun mingled with the low hum and sizzle of a ruby energy beam. Isin grunted as the energy beam scorched his chest armor, then jerked up--singing his shoulder and part of the Falcon beside his head--as the drone was pushed back by the shotgun blast. The machine's shields flared as he quickly racked the M90, fired, then racked and fired once more. The drone sparked as the pellets ripped through it, exploding in a small fireball as it fell to the ground. Isin turned to everyone else in the Falcon, nearly laughing at the wide eyes staring at him. He safed the shotgun, then handed it back to Mason. Just then, the COM hissed to life. "This is ODST Lunar Squad.... fucking Falcon was shot down by four or five of those...things... Pilot's dead, and me and my squad are stuck on foot. What are exact orders?"" Sergeant Grey, this is Lieutenant Herald. I'm in a Falcon about one click to the...ah hell...one click away." He replied over the COM, realizing direction was almost useless where they were. "My vehicle is full, but we can provide overwatch for you. Everyone else is setting up a temporary HQ on the ground several kilometers away, so I suggest you start heading there ASAP." Isin typed quickly on his TACPAD, then contacted the pilot of the Falcon over the COM. "I need you to start heading to these coordinates." He tapped a button, sending the information to the pilot. "Roger that." The vehicle turned sharply to the right as the pilot responded.

MimYap Special operations major Ground side
MimYap spun as voices suddenly penetrated his thoughts.
"Brother..." said the sangheili to no one in genreal. "Might you be in need of any assistance transporting the Unggoy?"
MimYap looked up at the sangheili.
"Big Boss is not here, me in charge." he said giving the sangheili a curious look. He was a tall sangheili, wearing the sacred armor of the special operator...MimYap wished he was a sangheili...
"I bet he wants to kill you..." the voice said with a matter of fact tone, ripping MimYap from his day dream of being tall and killing humans with grace and honor.
"NO! He is honorable!" he said almost yelling into his shoulder. He then realized what he did and became embarrassed. "We accept you offer at helping Sangheili. My name is special operations major MimYap, we must transport the unggoy workers further," he points off north "That way."
He then waved his arm, causing his lance to herd the other unggoy on their march forward. They kept a steady pace, but MimYap tried to walk next to the new sangheili leader.
This leader reminded him of the stories he had heard, about a special operator who had killed a demon...he began to wonder if it was true...
((Z Kels isnt here, thats MimYaps leader, he left MimYap to handle the transport.))

Kel groaned and opened her eyes. Everything was black around her, except for the faint light peeking through the two bay windows. Slowly, painfully, everything came back to her.
--- Kel fired again from her perch on the phantom's ramp, the beam of plasma burning through the sandstorm into the shoulder of a marine. Glass fell from the sky to the soldiers below. Kel's aim was off. She switched through her vision options. Night vision made everything brighter, making the raging storm that much easier to see as it blocked out the sun. Heat vision gave her the perfect view of yellows and oranges flashing across her sight like static. It played havoc with her eyes, disorienting her. None of her options worked. She had to rely on her zoom, and her ability to discern silhouettes through the grainy haze.
"Zhal, how's your sniping?" She inquired to the jackal off to her left.
"Terrible! I can't see anything through this gruel! How can they expect us to be of any use here?"
"Should we fall back to the structure?” Kel inquired over the comms.
A heavy pause held them in suspense, until finally, Ruk’s voice boomed in their ears. “Very well. We’re falling back. Our sniping is doing very little here. We'll wait until the storm passes, or are recalled to the fleet. All drop ships hosting Sublime Aggression, fall back to the cliffs.”
All three drop ships banked away from the battle and rose upwards, escaping the sandstorm that ravaged the surface below. If they were to try finding the fight again, it would be impossible.
The three phantoms formed up, and drifted over the storm. They could not see the cliff. A groan of metal boomed across the sky, sending panic into the lances. Was it their drop ship? What of the other two? What was-” The shape of a massive object plummeted through the clouds, garnering the attention of everyone in the drop ships.
“That’s a ship from the fleet!” Ruk exclaimed. “Pilots, follow it. We might be able to help the survivors when they crash.” The Phantoms sped up to the approximate location of the falling ship, and descended into the sandy haze after it. ---
Kel rolled onto her stomach, and weakly pushed herself to a knee. "Zhal?" A groan emanated on the far side of the cabin. "Zhal." She repeated, crawling over to him. "Are you ok?"
Zhal coughed, and felt around for Kel, finally finding her and pulling her against him until her head lay on his chest. "I'll be fine, Kel" He coughed again. Kel thought it sounded like he was coughing up blood, but couldn't be sure in this blackness. "I'm just winded from the crash."
Kel thought back a moment. There was a brief moment after they followed a Covenant ship into the sandstorm, where the storm disappeared. Everything had grown silent, and then their drop ship was flung into chaos as it crashed.
"We should get out of here, see if we can contact the others. I'll check the pilot." Kel pulled herself from Zhal's embrace, and crawled towards the hatch that allowed access to the pilot. It opened with a hiss, and Kel climbed down. It was better lit in the pilot's hatch. But he was dead, contorted into an odd angle and expression as parts from the canopy penetrated his gruesome form.
"Pilot's dead, Zhal." Kel called out, returning to him. "We should get out of the ship."
"Find your gear, Kel." Zhal ordered, even though they were of the same rank. He was still lance leader on this one.
Kel managed to land her claws on her Focus Rifle as Zhal opened the left-most hatch of the Phantom. A world of silver walls, and brilliant blue lights awaited them beyond those doors, as they took their first steps into the Holy Relic.

PFC Jake Rotan Task Force 77: Able Company Shield World Surface |
Jake shifted his hold on his MA5B for what seemed the hundredth time. The uncertainty of this world was causing his worries to get the best of him. His eyes were constantly flashing back and forth, looking for the next enemies. They had already been attacked on countless occasions by the flying robots that they were referring to as "Sentinels." The only form of comfort that Jake was feeling was the presence of his company, specifically his team; Ryan, Michelle, and Lenny. Lenny and Ryan were to his right while Michelle was to his left, closer to him than Ryan and Lenny are. He felt secure with Michelle around, confident too. Of course, Lenny and his grenade launcher helped with that as well. Jake looked up again and fired his assault rifle as another three sentinels came into view. The three robots went down quickly as the 225 marines let loose a torrent of bullets. Jake itched absent-mindedly at the burn that he had recently acquired from one of the damned things. Michelle and Ryan were equally maimed as himself, and Lenny was somehow uninjured. Jake constantly looked around, waiting for any other enemies to show themselves. His nerves were slightly calmed as the company began to occupy the structure, even more so when he was assigned to the third floor with his team. Now that they had no exact orders and the captain was currently up on the Arizona, Jake sat back to relax for a short bit. Michelle sat down on his right, moving close enough so that their shoulders were touching each other. Jake looked at her and smiled tiredly. "Do you think that those sentinel things are the worst thing out there? Or do you think that we're fucked and there are things worse just waiting for us?" he said. She returned his smile before speaking. "I'm not sure. I don't know how many, if any, UNSC, or Covenant for that matter, have gone inside one of these things. For now all we can do it hope that the sentinels are the worst out there. If there are things worse than them, we'll just have to wait for them to reveal themselves. Let's just hope that's the case." Jake nodded. "Yeah. Let's hope." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Corporal Mattie Stroud Lunar Squad Shield World Surface |
Mattie eyes glanced around, and his right hand was feeling his forehead. He had felt something dripping slowly down his head, and now, pulling his hand back, he saw that it was blood. He also found that he had a huge fucking headache. Neither was entirely serious so he put them to the back of his mind and looked around the crashed falcon. His helmet had fallen off at some point, and he needed to find it. He liked having his helmet on during a mission as much as possible. He spotted it in the corner of the falcon's destroyed bay, and made his way to it. He bent down quickly and grabbed it before sliding it back on over his head. Now that he was looking around, Jackson was already up, and Alex was forcing a piece of metal off of him. Anders was just coming around and was attempting to get up. Once he had, he started the search for his helmet. Mattie looked at Jackson as he moved passed him. "I'll be right back, I'm going to go look around. See if I can see any place we could go to for the time being. Just radio in if you need me." he said, as he continued forward. He looked around as he advanced, noticing the vegetation that surrounded him. He found this odd, seeing as they were INSIDE of a planet. Nothing really made sense anymore. Looking up, it seemed like the sky of any other planet. Little did he know that to either side of him was a giant cliff face that stretched far above him. After about five minutes of wandering, and not seeing anything, he decided to turn back and head for the falcon. He stopped for a minute, hearing a faint noise, sort of like a hum. Glancing back he spotted eight or so sentinels heading in his direction, and the direction of the falcon. "Oh shit!" he cursed before spinning around and sprinting for the falcon once again. He was unarmed, and only one man, and so there was very little he could do now. Warn the others. That was his current objective. Let them know the bots were coming. It only took two and a half minutes to get back this time. Once he reached the opening that led into the falcon's now upside down bay, he put his hand against the door frame and panted heavily. Z was awake now, he saw. "Good to see your up and about now, but we've got a problem. I saw about eight of those robots heading in this direction. I think they're searching for survivors. What should we do?" he asked, addressing the final sentence to Z.

Raul Green 5 Shield World Surface |
Raul sat next to Alex in the drop ships blood tray. They had been sent down to the surface to set up shop, and Raul had just finally gotten some sleep. So with a rested mind, and smoke filled lungs, he sat, mentally preparing himself for the coming fight. They had left the ship and been given basic orders. "help protect and scout around the base camp that was being set up, blah blah blah." Same old shit to Raul, he had heard to protect this or scout this so many times that it was second nature. He found the briefing to be incredibly useless, it told them pretty much what they already knew, they were fucked. The covies had the long end of the stick again and were approaching them so they could introduce our asses to it. What ever, they always had the short end. If he had let himself be scared this far in he wouldn't be here. He took his helmet off and pulled out a cigarette and lit it with his nickel plated zippo, enjoying the smooth taste of his classic cowboys. He then began to load extra mags for his DMR, sliding the large bullets into the clip and tapping them against his helmet, a tradition started in the olden days of human warfare. He allowed the smoke deep into his lungs, savoring each puff as if it was his last. He had seen enough combat to stop taking down time like this for granted. He looked over his shoulder at Alex. "Gonna be an interesting fight eh?" asked her, slapping the fresh clip into his DMR and sliding back the bolt, allowing it to snap forward with a resound clack.

Flight Captain James Fawley
James tapped a few buttons, turned the joystick to the left and the screen automatically identified three larger unknown hostiles. They were HUGE, about the size of a Scorpion Tan themselves.
They were on a trajectory heading straight for the UNSC HQ that was being set up on the ground.
"Fire autocannons!" The Captain ordered.
From the outside, the large sentinels hadn't made their way over the target.
One of them pivoted, took some rounds to it's fore-shielding before one of the arms collapsed and fell toward the ground inside the planet. It was like a world inside a world... It had the Captain confused.
Regardless, the rounds from the two Vulture gunship's were designed for business. Eight heavy rounds per shot meant that the things shields would have to be damn good to block these things. The two Vultures concentrated fire.
The strongest thing the Captain had come against was elites, and even then they died quickly. These were called "Areal Artillery Pieces" for a reason.
One of the sentinels exploded, fell to the ground and exploded again, bursting into flames caused by the high explosive rounds. However, the other two turned to face the UNSC's most deadly aircraft for now.
One bright red beam cut through the atmosphere, and nailed the second Vulture. It immediately lost altitude, but kept firing. The large sentinels shield failed, then rounds punctured through it.
It exploded, fired again, before detonating in a electric explosion, but it fired twice before that could happen hitting the second Vulture in it's second air intake and the left auto-cannon emplacement and remained in the air.
Fawley's wingman neared the ground, regained altitude then finally submitted to the soil inside the planet, the gunship was going down. The Thrusters under neath flared to life and the Vulture rose upwards, it's noise covered in dirt and dust.
The third sentinel pivoted to the weaker target, fired it's main weapon and cut the Vultures right under carriage thrusters right off.
The Vulture spun around and around before impacting the ground, again, but this time it exploded into a ball of flames. It would stay down this time, never to float in the atmosphere again.
"Shit!" The Crew-Chief yelled.
"Tag it, get a pelican to search for survivors. Arm all rockets, I want these things dead!" The Captain yelled.
One of the gunners pivoted the rocket pods and launched the missiles in the silo's to the left and right.
Well the Auto-Cannons were concentrating on one things, the missiles were heading for the other. The force of the missiles equaled roughly 30 Archer missiles. Impacting into the side of the sentinel, were it was not shielded. It exploded, and fell towards the surface.
The last sentinel however did manage to turn towards the Vulture, and a small red charge emitted from behind the shield. A weakness! The Captain thought.
The sentinel how ever didn't last much longer, as the UNSC Arizona's Point Defense Guns roared to life, blowing the remaining sentinel to pieces. As the debris fell towards the inner planet, the Captain gave out a small sigh.
"Did anyone realize that they almost beat two UNSC Vulture gunships?" The Captain asked.
No one responded...

Flight Captain Michelle Rodriguez Task Force 77: Exodus One UNSCS Titan - Hanger Bay Michelle hauled herself up the boarding ramp of the GA-TL1 Longsword-class Interceptor and nodded to her go-pilot Michael who was waiting for her to board the craft, once she walked past him Michael began to walk by her side furthur into the craft, Michelle reached the cock-pit in ten seconds and achknolaged the Navigator and Engineer who were at their stations, Michelle gestured for Michael to take the co-pilot's seat before she moved over to the Pilot's seat and strapped herself in. Michelle sighed and looked up at the roof flipping up a couple of red plastic covers and flipping the switches under them, thoes switches were the starters for engine one and two, she turned to Michael and nodded before facing forward. "Fuel to idle on engines one and two" Michelle looked back up and two the left and flicked two switches under the starters for engine one and two. "Engines to full for one and two" Michelle looked to Michael before smiling and looking back foward she then flicked her visor down and gripped the flight stick with her right hand and grabbing a seperate handle on the left side of her seat with her left hand, she lifted the left stick up about two inches and the Longsword lifted up off the hanger floor, she then turned the flight stick to the right and rotated the Longsword around 180 degree so the Longsword was facing the entrance/exit to the hanger. "Exodus Actual this is Exodus One, launching from hanger bay of UNSCS Titan, how copy?" "Roger that Exodus one, Exodus Two will be right behind you, you are clear for launch... Good hunting pilot" "Roger that Exodus... Exodus one, out" Michelle let her hand go off the left stick and switched hands so her left hand was on the flight stick and her right hand was on the accelerator, she took in a breath before pushing forward on the accelerator and storming out of the hanger with a loud roar, as soon as she was out of the shade of the Titans Hanger the sun inside the planet blared into the window's the windows automatic tint's on the outside kicking in. "Exodus One this is Exodus Two... We are right behind you and on station as wing man, over" "Roger that Exodus Two, Exodus One... Out" Michelle lowered the Longsword down for two seconds and then pulled the stick back up, the Longsword was now fifty meters off the ground, she banked right and soared over the forerunner structure the marines on the ground were using as a ground base before lifting back up. "Exodus One, this is Exodus Actual... Check radar we got contacts moving in by your twelve... Confirm" Michelle raised a brow and looked at her radar, she was picking up contacts, she then looked up out of the main window, she squinted but saw nothing, she spoke but spoke to her co-pilot instead of Exodus Actual. "You see anything Michael" "Negative" Michelle keyed into the flight control on the Titan to speak. "Exodus Actual this is Exodus One... Negative we don't see an---" "CONTACTS OUR TWELVE" Michael yelled, Michelle looked forward and saw a bunch of the Sentinels a group of about thirty, Michelle went to lift the Longsword up but was too late, about ten of the Sentinels impacted against the Longsword and smashed against the Titanium-A plating belly under the Longsword scraping some of the paint off, Michelle barrel rolled and banked a hard left and did a full 180 degree turn so she was facing the sentinels again. "Fire the 110mm Michael" Michelle lined up with the sentinels, she was closing in on them fast, Michael fired the 110mm rotary cannons at the Sentinels and took out thirteen of them, Michelle's wingman taking out the rest with their rotary cannons. "What were thoes things Michael?" "Fuck if I know" "Anyway... Let's get on with the mission" "Exodus Two, this is One, continue with the mission, let's move towards the Covenant ships but stay at a far distance so as not to attract fighter attention"

Rakath V'keelaii
"I was referring to you, Major..." He said, looking down at him, ignoreing the outburst, tihnking he was speaking to one of the Grunts with him. "We will assist you the best we can. Whether my pupil like it or not... He said turning his head to them and moving his index finger in a circle, the for large forms spread around the group as a second layer of protection.
"I am Rakath V'keelaii, Spec-Ops Major... It is a honor to meet you, Mimyap." He said, lowering his head respectfully, spinning his Revolver on his hand and then slapping it in place on his hip.
Kag
Growling slightly as his eyes came into focus, he hit himself in the side of the head, blinking a few times before trying to stand, finding himself unable to he cursed, looking around to see why, only to see his own shotguns smaller blade turned against him and stabbed into his arm.
Cursing loudly, Kag spoke out for help. "Kel? Boss? Hell even Zhal? Anyone feel like helping me here?"
Cpl. Alex Summers
Loading a mag into her Battle Rifle she sighed, letting out a growl when the damn thing jammed, fixing it, she went back to loading it and it worked perfectly.
When Raul spoke, she did not speak back, she merely began sharpening her knife on her cybernetic arm. Lewis gave her some nasty looks for doing so, and Clay simply shrugged it off. she didnt give a shit what Church thought.
It had been four years and she still hadn't accepted Church as a team member... Wasn't right in her eyes, him sitting where Amy used to be...
Lucy Grey
"Aye, thanks L-" Then came Mattie, who looked like he was about to shit his pants.
"You heard him team, they are coming, get your weapons and we need to move!" Jackson then walked up beside Mattie and drew the SMG from his hip, flipping it and tapping Mattie in the shoulder with it.
"What about Cox?" Alex asked, grabbing his launcher up from under the seat and as he passed Lucy, tossed her her missing MA5C.
"Kids tough, if he's alive he'll get the marker soon, or run into some UNSC and get to the base, right now we need to move! GO GO GO!" She said, pointing off in the pointed out direction tot he base camp.
Flicking over to a open COMM she called out into the channel.
"Dean..." she said, using Cox's real name for once. "if you can hear me, we are going to the UNSC base camp. See if you can link up with anyone and get there, alright?" she sighed a bit, flicking through a few COMMs before just simply going back to TEAMCOMM and heading off to the desired direction.

Private Dean 'Coxy' Cox Reaper Platoon: Lunar Squad Surface Inside Shield-World
"Dean..." Cox heard over his helmets COM. "if you can hear me, we are going to the UNSC base camp. See if you can link up with anyone and get there, alright?"
Cox sighed, his HUD was broken and he had no way of knowing where he was or where he was ment to be going, the ODST pushed him self up from the ledge and slid his sniper onto his back and used to strap around his chest to tighten it so it would not move, he then gripped his M6C/SOCOM and pulled it out of the holster holding it with two hand's before running back along the side of the cliff face, if he looked up he would notice the sun in the centre of the planet, and two Covenant and two UNSC Ships floating about the Covenant on the most easterly part and UNSC on the most westerly part.
Cox stopped and holsted his M6C/SOCOM and then took in a deep breath, he then started to sprint along the cliff face, looking for any trace of Falcon wreckage or even any site of UNSC Personnel, hell, even finding some Covenant would be good now, but he hoped to God or Satan or who ever was looking over him he would find the UNSC before the Covenant, Cox stopped, he heard a distant roar, he then crouched and looked up at the sky as he heard the roar go right over him, it was two Longswords, they were heading toward the Covenant ships.
WHAT! Two Longswords trying to take on Covenant ships, Cox sighed before standing back up again, he then began to think about the transmition Gunnery Sergeant Grey said to him, she called him Dean? No one call's him Dean, not even his best friend or mother called in Dean, everyone called him Coxy, he had not been called Dean since he was six, and eve then that was by a stranger not his parents.
Cox was interrupted by his thoughts when a red laser seered his helmet, his head suddenly rose to 1000 degree's, he lifted his hands and tore his helmet off his head, he threw it away, and look to his right, a Forerunner sentinel had fired it's laser at him, Cox grunted and drew his M6C/SOCOM, he ran to his left and entered what he saw as a Forerunner structure, a door way in the edge of some rock, Cox sprinted in and turned around to fire at the Sentinel with his M6C/SOCOM, the 12 bullets did shit, it only brought down the thing's shields, nothing more.
The shot's echoed out through the hallway, and then the sound of oxygen igniting and air burning, the crackle of a laser seared behind him and hit him in the back, it was a short burst and caused nearly no damage, Cox was flown four meters forward because of the speed he was running, he grunted and rolled onto his back to look for the sentinel, the sentinel was already half a beter about 40cm away from his face, Cox tensed up and waited for the worst to happen, there was nothing he could do but wait, he closed his eyes and listened to the sentinel move it's tendrils closer to him.

Rakath V'keelaii
Walking with the Grunts for a few moments longer, Rakath passed what seemed to be a service passage on the left. Looking back at the grunts and then his Lance.
"I will go this way, alone and meet you on the other side of it."
Rakath activated his camouflage and faded from sight into the darkly lit corridor.
And after awhile he could hear gunshots. Seemed it was time to assist another human today. Drawing his sword in one hand, and gripping his Revolver in the other Rakath sprinted down the hall, full speed.
Just before the Laser blew into the Imp, Rakath's sword went through it. The duel prongs visible in front of the humans face, giving off heat, but no where near enough to cause him harm.
He pulled back and quickly brought his sword up, letting the artifact fall in half at his feet. Looking down at the Human, h kept his weapon aimed to the floor, thinking of the words to say.
"I am... Rakath V'keelaii... Do not be alarmed, Human, I vow i will not harm you..." He said, sheathing his Revolver and offering the human his hand.

Private Dean 'Coxy' Cox Reaper Platoon: Lunar Squad Surface Inside Shield-World Cox opened his eye's the Sentinel was now destroyed in two peices between his leg's he looked down at the Sentinel then looked up, he was staring a Covenant Elite in the face, he took in a quick breath and gasped slightly, lifting his M6C/SOCOM, he would shove it into the Elite's jaw in less than one second from the gasp, once he did he wold grip the gun as hard as fucking possible. Cox waited another whole second before pulling the trigger, the weapon would click and nother would happen, after that Cox would let go of the gun and roll to his side before lifting himself up and moving five paces backwards, as he did he would crouch down and pull his Kurkri, he eyed the elite and then realized what he was doing, 5 foot 11 him verses eight foot elite, Kurkri versus Energy sword, it was fucking insane. Cox sheathed his Kurkri and stood up straight before looking at the Elite, Cox still had his sniper on his back and was ready to pull it off and used it but by the time he did that the Elite would have killed him, so he just stood silent.... Like always.

Rakath V'keelaii
Seeing the gun, Rakath laughed and when it was taken from his jaw he spoke. "Kinda hard to do that.. When you are out of Ammo.." He said, with the Elite equivalent of a smile.
"Listen, I am not going to kill you... But you need to listen to me" He said, looking behind him. "There are Covenant in that direction, I will guide you personally to the UNSC, and we will depart ways... I do not serve The Covenant fully anymore... Now, it is your choice, Silent Imp.."
