From the side main room out of the core of the ship, Suliam emerged. Blades on his thighs, and feet clanking from his heavy weight. The Arbiter, called down from his meditation for a friendly spar. Ultra 'Remumai was the Sangheili's name. A bold one for challenging Suliam so openly... He had no choice but to accept the bout.
Eyes ready, and body relaxed, Suliam strode into the center of the room, taking his stand in the middle, just below where the light came down from the ceiling. It was a Seraph hangar, as well as a dock for Spirits and Phantoms that were dropping off cargo. Hopefully none of those would decide to fly through while the two sparred...

((Fun fact, this is my first post with this character...))
'Remumai offered a polite nod towards the Arbiter. From where he was standing, to one side of the large circle that made up the centre of the hangar floor, he watched the massive Sangheili approach.
"Arbiter, I thank you for agreeing to spar with me..." He trailed off. White armour glistening in the dull light of the hangar, he wondered for a moment what the correct protocol for doing this with an Arbiter was...

Suliam looked over towards the Ultra and flexed his mandibles slightly, letting his teeth lightly touch together as he thought for a moment. His opponent was kind, but he looked competent. With a curt nod, Suliam turned to face the warrior, taking a step back to allow his opponent to move forward if he wished.
"It would be a pleasure to duel a fellow Sangheili... but let us make haste. I am unsure if we are to receive any unintended traffic..." Suliam motioned towards the shields protecting the two warriors from the grip of space.
With a slow motion, he pulled the sword off his left hip, engaging the blade with a flick of his wrist. The red blade burning the air around it, making a light flex in the space around it as the hot sword made its form.

Removing his own hilt from his belt, Phma activated the two-pronged energy blade with a press of it's switch, and adopted a ready stance, blade held straight out to his left.
"Agreed....it would be a shame for a phantom to run us down in the middle of the hangar..."
((Another interesting fact, i've yet to do any PvP here yet...so I might be bad>_>))

"Come young warrior..." Suliam raised his blade and grabbed just below his elbow, flexing his arm slightly so his blade stuck up at an angle.
Suliam turned his hips slightly, putting his left foot forward underneath his blade. His right foot stuck back and stabilized the warrior as he readied for combat. His helmet twitched and the mouth guard closed shut, sealing his mandibles and eyes beneath the helmet. His display activated, but then was dismissed as Suliam shut it back off. He was ready, and waited for his opponent to move. With a cold stare, Suliam's eyes locked onto Phma's hips and his lower torso. The blade was a deadly weapon, but was simply an extension... The real threat was the warrior's moves...

Phma considered his opponent for a moment. The towering hulk had him outmatched in weight and height, but what about speed?
Tensing his legs, he pushed off, sprinting for the Arbiter. As he neared his target, he swung his sword around, aiming to deliver a slash against his opponent's chest plate.

Beneath his helmet, a sleek grin crossed Suliam's face. Phma came quick, rushing directly for his opponent and sliced for his chest. Suliam waited, remaining frozen in his stance until the warrior was commited, then the Arbiter moved.
A swift lean back pulled Suliam further from Phma as he retracted his left foot. A quick side-step to follow, then a hop over moved him from the strike and put Suliam to the sword-side of Phma. Suliam motioned swiftly, engaging into his strike with a extension out. He reached to grab Phma with his right hand, and brought his sword forward in a jabbing motion for the warrior's skull. Though, with the speedy strike, Suliam prepared to cut the power to the sword. A kill was not what he wanted, just a submission.
As his blade closed, Suliam growled and shoved his blade forward, increasing the speed of his strike suddenly.

Years of training went out the viewport as Phma found his forward momentum abruptly halted.
As the Arbiter's hilt came towards his head, instincts kicked in. Kicking backwards with one leg, he sprang upwards on the other. The idea, assuming that he wasn't stopped, was to use the force of the hand gripping the collar of his armour against his opponent, with Phma ending up directly behind the larger Sangheili by rolling over the back of the slightly taller Arbiter.

Releasing his grip, Suliam squatted beneath the moving Sangheili, letting him move back. Yet, as he came down, Suliam spun, bringing his heel around for Phma's knees. The sweeping kick sliced through the air, making the air whistle some and brought a gust of air behind it. Using his free right hand to balance himself, Suliam prepared his blade for a follow-up...

Phma turned his knee inwards to take his opponent's kick, knowing that it would likely force him to the ground. Taking advantage of this, he ducked low, bringing his blade in for a straight jab into the Arbiter's stomach...
