As the challenged, I choose the location of this battle. I choose the Arena! And as for my character... my Swordsman Sangheili, Sandrin 'Hedrathai, takes the field!

LUCIFER! I CHOOSE..... YOU! (Ignore the "117") --- Stepping out on to the stone, a sniper rifle in her hands, and duel magnums on her hips the SPARTAN stood. What was this place...? Would there be Covenant here? Oh she hoped so... But it was a bit too... close for Snipers... Slinging her SR99 to her back the gate opened and Lucifer stepped out, duel pistols to bear, her visor reflecting the light from the sky as she walked, checking the stands and the area around them. There had to be something here... Had to be... Then she saw him, backing up into a prepared stance with each of her M6's drawn at her enemy across the arena. This.... Was going to be harder than expected...

Separating the two combatants were twin gates of wrought iron, rusted and oxidized by blood.
Crowds thronged the edges of the Arena, up in the bleachers--shouts in Cyrodiliic mingled with Khajiiti and Argonian tongues.
All the shouts pretty much meant the same thing--begin the killing already.
Suddenly, a magically amplified voice echoed among the stands, bringing the Arena to a deadened hush.
"CITIZENS OF THE EMPIRE!"
"YOU HAVE COME TO WATCH A FIGHT, AND SO A FIGHT YOU SHALL HAVE!"
"WE HAVE FRESH BLOOD IN THE ARENA TODAY... A WARRIOR CLAD IN GOLD, WITH A GLIMMERING BLADE, REPRESENTING THE YELLOW TEAM!"
"AND REPRESENTING THE BLUE TEAM, WE HAVE, IN FULL ARMOR, ONE WHO IS ONLY KNOWN AS A SPAAARRRTTTAAAAN!"
"BUT ENOUGH TALK! LET THE BATTLE....BEGIN!"
The gates fell.
A lone warrior, glistening with gold and shielding, rushed across the sand, stone and steel of the Arena. This was to be a quick fight.

"What the fuck...?" Lucifer thought to herself, looking around. Empire?
Where the hell was she?
Didn't seem to matter at this point... There was a Covenant Solder here... And she was going to kill it... But at this point the fight seemed very one sided. She had no Close Quarters weapons but her knife and her fists...
Eh, she'd find a way, and then find out where she was and how she got here later.
...After this elite had its brains blown out on the concrete and she saw its "Ghost" join the Reapers collection. And then came a charging elite.. Like a big... Glowing gold Rhino with less weight and a facial disfiguration.
She fired off three shots from each magnum, counting at six and as the Elite got close enough Lucifer spun to the left around one of the four pillars, peeking over her shoulder and firing multiple Magnum shots at the golden squid.

The bullets rained upon Sandrin, his shielding taking the brunt of the damage. Still, he felt each shot as if it was a punch leveled by a Jiralhanae. He grunted. I eat Jiralhanae for breakfast, if there is no better prey to be had.
He skidded to a halt on the rusted metal grating, his eyes automatically following the source of the shots that rained upon him. A SPARTAN shot at him from behind a pillar, cowardly not facing him. He snarled in frustration. His sword flickered out--it bit into the stonework of the pillar, cleaving it clean in two. However, the pillar was too heavy to fall over on its own--so he hefted up a leg and shoved with all his might.
The crowd of--humans? Their identity wasn't yet clear--screamed encouragement as they were treated to the sight of a massive stone column collapsing upon the hapless SPARTAN.
