Dutch nodded in consent with Domoa, trying to convince his sleepy CO of the crisis.
"Domoa is right sir, Noobalicious was murdered last night while we slept. This is no prank sir."

"Eh...?"
Commando stopped. Turned around. Glanced curiously again at the murder scene. True, it WAS especially realistic... could this really not be a joke? He made an attempt to give the crew his raised-eyebrow stare, but in his sleep-deprived state only succeeded in making a awkward face.
The Captain moved closer to inspect the gruesome remains of his officer. After a long moment, he finally spoke. "I have come to the conclusion... that Lieutenant Noobalicious is dead."
As soon as the words were out of his mouth, he mentally smacked himself. Way to go Captain Obvious...
"...And that something must be done about it." There! He silently congratulated himself on the nice save. He cleared his throat in an attempt to buy more time to think of what to say next, but came up empty. Damn, couldn't this murder have waited till he was more awake to properly handle the issue?
"Commander Dutch," he asked his XO. "What is your suggestion on how to properly handle this issue?"

Dutch politely waited for Captain Commando to fully come to terms with the situation before replying curtly.
"Sir the crew, myself included, believe that Disciple is directly responsible for murdering Noobalicious, and there are some of us who would wish that Disciple is executed for murder."

"Meaning all of us," cut in Shiloh. "Sir." he added to please Dutch.

"Even though it is my job to attempt to see it from the killer's perspective," Cthulhu Disciple said, rubbing his forehead in rsignation. "And any idiot could have thought ut through without my saying anything..."

"No one could have known what weapons the killer used to gouge out Noob's eyes. Somehow, you do. And don't say that's not what you said. We all heard you. You said the murderer used hooks to gouge his eyes out. As far as we know, he used rubber knives, which, while impossible, is all we have so far." Bippwatt spoke without pausing and didn't take a breath until he was done.
"I also say we execute the traitor."

Nodding grimly, Dutch's hand fell to his M6 service pistol.
"I'm sorry Disciple, but this looks like the end for you. Murderer.' He spat out the last word with contempt, shooting Disciple an icy look. Sliding the M6D out of its holster, Dutch pulled back the slide and let it snap forward, chambering a round with an ominous clack.

Beta12 almost spoke up at the last second but didn't. A large shadow of doubt now began to crawl into the back of his mind.

"Well, there are hooks in his feet, and they were probably the things that gouged his eyes out. It certainly looks like they were used." Cthulhu Disciple said. "Do you seriously not use your eyes at a crime scene?"

"Perhaps you should have pointed such important details out before. It looks like you're just trying to cover up the crime now." Dutch had been raising his pistol the entire time, and now it was leveled directly at Disciples head. Dutch shook his head. "I wish it hadn't come to this, but I have a duty to the UNSC. Now do you have any last words?"

"Fine." Growled Cthulhu Disciple. "But just remember: my blood will be on your hands, and I won't be the one on my knees begging forgiveness at judgement day!"
Cthulhu tossed his M6 to the ground, followed swiftly by his medical belt and service badge. "With respect Sir," he said to Supercommando, "I quit. And I hope that you get your just rewards eventually, Dutch..."

Hand trembling, Dutch shut his eyes and prayed he wasn't doing the wrong thing. His finger slowly but surely tightened on the trigger....

With a loud "bang", Dutch's pistol rang loudly through the scene of the crime. The round from the M6 crossed the distance almost instantly, and Disciple's skull was directly in the bullet's path. The victor of a hard clash of skin, bone, and brain against lead was quickly determined. Disciple's skull vexed inward, and a hole blasted the soldier into oblivion. From the back, Disciple's skull suddenly splattered open, spraying blood, bone fragments, and parts of Disciple's brain all over the space behind him.
The eyes of the surrounding crew watched the scene before them as their votes put the man to death. Disciple's body collapsed, tumbling backwards from the force of the shot, and his body flopped on the deck of the ship. Night time had already begun to come close on the ship's universal clock, and left the remaining crew members with only a few hours to work before fatigue would set in for most of them.

"Damn..." Captain Commando eventually said, breaking the grim silence that had befallen the bridge. "That was our doctor, wasn't it? Now what am I going to do about my meds..."

Breathing heavily and hands shaking, Dutch held the pistol before him in trembling fingers. He'd done it. He'd just shot a man. Taking a moment to wipe the layer of cold sweat from his face, he raised the smoking gun and blew the muzzle before slowly slipping it back into his holster.
Still shaking and feeling quite cold all over, Dutch tried to swallow and failed. Turning to face Captain Commando, he shakily raised his hand in salute.
"O-Orders sir?"

Commando, having since been shocked awake by the gun blast that took the second life on his bridge within 24 hours, nodded sympatheticly at his XO.
"That will be all, Commander. Get some rest."
Turning to the security officer beta12, the Captain ordered, "You, see to it this mess gets cleaned up. The rest of you are dismissed. Get some shut-eye and tomorrow let's try to forget any of this ever happened."

Nodding shakily, Dutch turned on unsteady feet and made his way back to his quarters. Try and forget this had ever happened, right. Got it.
Stumbling through the doorway, he pulled open a drawer on his bedside dresser and carefully slid out a bottle of 2467 H&H. Unscrewing the cap, lips smacking, he raised the bottle and took a long, deep pull from the bottle. Then he took another, and then another.
The days memories already being washed away, Dutch put the bottle down, undressed and crawled into bed, falling asleep almost immediately.

Bippwatt shook his head and left the bridge, muttering a half-hearted "Yessir." when the Captain dismissed them.
He set about his duties, but kept his pistol with him all day. If they had all been wrong, he wasn't about to become the next death.

Besides Beta, Shiloh was the last person to leave the room. He stared at the horrific corpse of Disciple for some time, realizing that quite frankly, it was partially his fault. No...he hadn't been the only one to vote on Disciple...Letting his hand drop from his M6, Shiloh turned and left to go about his duties, albeit in a jumpy manner. If Disciple wasn't the killer...Well, Shiloh didn't want to think about that.

"For god sakes...." Maoned beta12 as he finaly finished cleaning up the mess. 'Why is it that I'm always stuck on clean-up duty?' Beta12 then quikly made his way from the bridge, folowing a random hall to get to his room. (Like Bip) he wasn't about to be the next victum. After locking the door to his quarters, he sat on his bed, his assult rifle was clutched tightly in his hands as he stared at the door.

As soon as he came off duty, Bippwatt locked himself in his quarters and pointed his gun at the door. If anyone came in, he was going to shoot. He didn't much care.
He started awake. His gun was on the floor and he blinked sleep from his eyes. Shit. He picked it up. Good. It hadn't discharged when it dropped. He looked at the clock. SHIT! It was three hours into his next shift. He holstered his gun and ran out, sliding to a stop in front of the bridge door. He panted and caught his breath, then walked in, making sure his uniform was in good condition. He strode to the tactical station, where he relived the previous watch.
He felt bad. Until he saw it was the same guy who had kept him waiting for six hours. He glared a look that said payback, then slid into the chair. The man ran from the bridge. Bippwatt sighed. "Sorry for being late, sir. Won't happen again"

After finally finishing his shift, Shiloh rushed to his quarters. He locked the door, and set a trip line and motion sensor alarm for extra measure before undressing and settling into bed. He kept his hand on his M6, ready to put his finger on the trigger if anything happened. He turned, set his alarm clock, and closed his eyes. It wasn't long, however, before he found his eyes open, fixed on the door...

With a smirk, everything was falling into the killers hands. Now, all he had to do was continue his work. So, as he slipped from his room, he checked up on where everyone was, scanning the halls for anyone that may be walking about... or had their door open. To his luck; he only had to look for a few moments befcore Domoa walked the corner..
The killer moved into the shadows, and disappeared as the fake light gave him the perfect spot... as well as the perfect weapon. Domoa walked down, his hands obviously shaking, and his eyes on alert as he moved down the hall. It was his shift, so that meant everyone else was either asleep or hidden away. And this place was far away from where anyone would every want to be.
The killer grinned wickedly and held back a chuckle as the unsuspecting victim walked blindly past him. Once the time was right, the killer jumped. From behind, Domoa didn't stand a chance. The killer expertly dealt a single blow and knocked Domoa out cold, and tossed him into the airlock. The assassin pulled Domoa's pistol from his thight and attached a silencer from his own pocket.
The killer put two bullets into each lung, making a square out of the shots. Domoa gasped and got ready to get up, but a single kick finished the deal. Satisfied, the killer put on a glove and began to set a time for the airlock to open; 3 minutes. The doors moved quickly shut. The killer returned to his quarters quickly and as his door shut; the airlock opened and the ship began to shake as the murder cleaned itself... except for when it pasted itself across one of the command center's windows..

Captain Commando arrived on the bridge first thing the next morning. He felt better than yesterday, although the combination of lack of meds and the grisly murder of Noobalicious was wrecking havoc with his sleep. This was evidenced by his less-than-perfectly-straight uniform and weary expression. What he wouldn’t give to have just spent this whole last leg of the voyage taking an ice nap in the cryo bay…
Just then his thoughts were interrupted as he spotted the transparasteel window running across the starboard side of the bridge. Although some in the Navy considered such windows to be tactically unsound or simply unnecessary, Commando personally enjoyed the privilege to gaze out in wonder through them into space. But not today… not when the view was of guts and gore… and Domoa’s face… frozen on the outside of the portal.
“Attention, this is Captain Commando to all crew,” he said somberly into the ship’s intercom. “Please report to the bridge immediately. There’s been another attack.”

"Oh, damn." Bippwatt muttered. His hands trembled as he tapped a few controls. "Pelican 343, recover-" His voice trembled. "Recover Lieutenant Domoa from space."
"Roger.", came the shocked response. A few miniutes later, Domoa was on the bridge, on a gurney. "Oh, fuck. We are so screwed."
He screwed up his determination. At least this one wasn't quite as bad as the last one. "I say Shiloh did it."

Dutch didn't totally hear all of what the Captain had said. All he heard was something about everyone reporting to the bridge ASAP. So with a mug of coffee in his hand and a piercing hangover in his skull, he dressed and made his way to the bridge.
Gingerly sipping the steaming liquid, he once again took a reflexive gulp when he entered the bridge to see Domoa, burst open, splayed out on the deck and with a frozen blue coloring his skin.
Coughing and hacking on the hot coffee, he took a moment to compose himself before fully taking in the situation.
"Oh, shit. We shot the wrong guy." Dutch felt his legs collapse beneath him and he staggered back to lean against the bulkhead, breathing heavily. He'd shot the wrong guy! Damn it Disciple had been innocent after-fucking-all! "Oh crap, oh crap, of crap, oh crap. Who the hell did it?"

Beta12 ran onto the bridge as Dutch curled up to the bulkhead, clearly shocked and dismayed. Then the words, " I Say Shiloh did it, rang through the bridge" Before taking the murder scene in, not that he wanted to.. he expected he would be the one to clean it up. He spoke directly to the captin, then to Bippwatt aswell, "Though me being on the bridge with Bippwatt during the first night.. didn't fully take up that night, and though I believe he is unguilty. Why is he so quik to say Shiloh did it? Shouldn't he be getting sick again? I say he did it since he clearly isn't the same person he was yesterday." Clearly beta12 was out of breath and obviously very tired, spending the majority of the night locked and awake in his quarters.

Shiloh rushed to the bridge, but by the time he got there Bipp, Dutch, and Beta were all there already. He got there just in time to hear Beta blabbering on about it being Shiloh himself.
Then his face fell upon the body of Domoa. Shaking, he slowly looked up at the people around him.
"Alright, let's say it was me," Shiloh said carefully, his voice shaking along with his body, "What would give me a reason? If I were the killer, I would certainly take out the leaders before doing anything right under their noses-unless, I had a bone to pick with my targets." He looked around at his crewmates. "Unless-I was the leader myself. Bipp, Beta, I don't know of any issues you two might've had with Domoa, and I sure as hell didn't have any, but these two," he jerked his thumb at Commando and Dutch, "Why didn't either of them die yet? The first night, I can understand...someone might've had an issue with Noob, and planned on leaving it there...Yesterday, I expressed my thoughts about Dutch, but I don't think it was him.
"If Dutch was the killer, he likely would've gone for Commando first, for the obvious reason of getting rid of security and also rising to fill the position. So by process of elimination, my friends," Shiloh paused and glanced at Commando, "I think you can tell who I'm accusing."

Still a bit dazed and shocked from the whole incident, Dutch listened quietly to Shiloh. Then, pulling himself to his feet, Dutch pointed a shaky finger at Shiloh and, in as strong a voice as he could muster,
"Wait, your accusing the Captain?"
