Oh, and heads up cpldutch, you can't insert with your orbital drop pods. I know it's counter-intuitive, but you'd have to have come in on a Pelican with the rest of the assault group due to Lethe's atmosphere. It's the same reason vehicles are inoperable and ground forces require filtration gear. It's a nasty planet.
If you knew that already, great. If not, now you know.

Not to mention theres no plans for reinforcements seeing as Elando landed everything in a single drop.

I don't think you looked at the thread closely enough jacob, I'll repeat the problems here.
A: There hasn't been enough combat for them to be hit by stray plasma, B: The Frig is moving too fast to be seen for more than a few seconds, as it does not slow. C: The pods are not your personal armoury, they weren't loaded with a single one of the weapons you selected, as specifyed in the post they were dropped. D: You ran to the edge of the crater, THEN called in about being seperated?

What part of my ship (AC) got destroyed now? Nothing as far as I know, unless there was any sympathetic detonation of shield nodes/power sources leading to delayed secondaries.

What, having your boots on the ground in the main RP not fun enough as it is? You really are a Joker. But in all seriousness, I think the method of entry for new players at this point is, as discussed earlier, "they were there the whole time", right? Surely we've not got over 200 characters in the Marine force named yet? As the company is about 200 strong, theres enough room for people to have been there all along, right? So there you go, G.

The problem seems to be fitting in ONI operations without them having to be 'FIRST ON THE GROUND SECRET RECON WHO WERE CLOSE BUT ASSAULT FORCE BLEW OUR COVER', seeing as the latest is inside the flipping Crater, amid the Covenant defences with a huge lack of cover and already going loud.
Honestly, why does every ONI unit aside from the quiet guy have to be there already just so they can spoil the broth with way too many cooks? I can appreciate the effect of spooks used well in a RP, but this is why I get fed up of them. Adding in 009 was already stretching it, but added someone to take care of any exterior stuff while the Recon team was in their hiding positions. What use would Jaden have? All she seems to have done is somehow avoided several Covenant patrols and gotten closer to the Carrier, but what would a single person be capable of against an entire vessel? The intel value of anything from the exterior is rendered moot as theres nothing prevent Inhert's team or 009 getting it, and there is no way in heck she could get inside the Carrier even with lowered defences.

I'm not trying to get inside of the carrier I'm doing recon, letting them humans know where enemies are, thats why I showed Jaden's frustration that her com is out.
I'm definitly not goin in/on the ship lol err can u say fastest character death ever
I only engaged when my location was compromised. I definitely realized I'm not a one man army nor do I wanna be.
If you want me to revise and/or remove it I will

If you want me to revise and/or remove it I will Recon... When we've already had several people in position watching the carrier for over a week. They lasted that long without detection until the Covenant finally caught on when units started flatlining. How is this single person who hasn't taken nearly as many pre-cautions going to survive long enough to get good detail which they couldn't, inside the same crater as roughly a hundred Covenant troops? Clearly she didn't drop in with the rest of the assault force if she is already further in the crater than Alpha. I'm seriously having doubts that your character will even fit into this mission really. On a tactical scale, this isn't some ONI Black Ops stealth gig, beyond the initial infiltration and on-site intel required, it is mainly a job for the bog-standard Marines and Naval personnel if any Covie reinforcements turn up. How is this character going to fit in, if her job is already performed better by a unit already on site? She could be inserted as a standard infantry unit, but wouldn't that be abit redudant with several SPARTANs and UNSC infantry companies?

^ Dave is right, having Jaden there working on her own is silly when we already have Inhert's squad there as well as Spartan 009.
Anyway, sorry I've been out of the loop for ages, I'll try and get stuff set up to move the RP forwards.

I am the original spook Joking aside, I have a role in this mission: Electronic Specialist. Once we get up in that ship, i'm hopefully the one going to be opening the doors.

Two M247s have been claimed so far. Grab what you can use, but once you've got it, you're not going to be able to just fire off a magazine then drop it because you saw a shiny Covenant weapon nearby. The M99s in particular are going to put whoever takes them into a marksman's role, while the 'missile pod' should be used more like a mortar, ableit one which can have targets designated for it rather than simply firing dumb rounds. Oh, and if anyone takes the Flamethrower, remember that it is a damn heavy weapon that was only included due to a logistics screw up.
