Executive Officer Shri T'ova | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Assault Carrier Pious Charity, Bridge |
Fleet Liaison, Khaorse Sal broke the gentle hum of the bridge's command and control screens. "Sub-Master, Catharsis is reporting two Sangheili squadrons have dropped to the planet and set up defenses. He demands the reason you undermine his patrol operations. Additionally Dax He’xal is asking if you authorized Ramo to set up demolitions at the gravity lift." Shri looked at Khaorse Sal, for over two weeks his warriors had followed his orders perfectly, and now they were getting anxious? "Ping the squads." Shri ordered. " Roma's (Vien 'Tionamee) and Ambr's (Ambr' Norutee)." Khaorse Sal returned moments later, having anticipated Shri's question. "Recall them to the ship, and have Roma and Ambr report to the bridge. Have the explosives disarmed and restored at the armory. Alert [requisitions] that Roma's squad and Ambr's squad are now on half rations." Shri could accept failure, when the circumstances dictated that there was no other possible option. Insubordination though......That was dishonorable, and would not be tolerated. Shri clicked his mandibles. Surely Catharsis would have taken insult from these actions, placing further strain on the relationship between the Brutes and the Elites. "Also, send Catharsis my apologies for the intrusion." Shri recognized that he could not allow his pride to interrupt the delicate state of the crew. Shri T'ova awaited Roma (Vien 'Tionamee) and Ambr' Norutee to arrive on the bridge. Meanwhile, Shri had opened up communications to Assassin Na'arui 'Keshkralee. "Assassin, report to the bridge." Shri had not the specific time to watch both Roma (Vien 'Tionamee) and Ambr' Norutee. This presented an opportunity for Assassin Na'arui 'Keshkralee to command a larger squad. Ramo' Randjamee (Vien 'Tionamee) would temporarily loose command of his squad to Assassin Na'arui 'Keshkralee. Ambr' Norutee was not a special operations troop; therefore placing her in such a squad would could potentially jeopardize success. Shri, had to come up with a suitable task or group to attach this reckless Sangheili to.

Assassin Na'arui 'Keshkralee | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | AC Pious Charity, Bridge |
Na'arui had recieved a communication from the bridge where he was half-way through the ship, looking for battle-worthy sealth Elites. " Assassin, report to the bridge." Na'arui sighed and rubbed his right mandible with his hand. " Immediately, sir." Na'arui made his was back down the corridor and into the bridge. There, he stopped just a few meters away from Shri T'ova, and awaited further orders. Major Ntak 'Nagalee | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Grav Lift |
The Major, Ntak, saw the incoming troops drop just away from the base of the Grav Lift where he stood. He thought to immediately inform Na'arui of this, as well as the arming of explosives. He made his way up the Grav Lift and into the belly of the ship. Near the top, he exited and made his way down the ships bruised corridors towards the bridge. Once there, he saw Na'arui standing firmly behind the helm. He took a stand behind Na'arui's right side and said something near his ear. " I'm guessing you were not short-informed of this situation, then." He said somewhat sarcastically and irritated. " Have patience, Major...." Na'arui replied in a low voice.

Captain Andrew Hallam | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Landing Zone |
"Right. We all clear on the platoons?" Hallam said. "Uh Sir, the data's corupt for me. Mind reading it out?" Said a Marine, smacking the side of his helmet, trying to get his HUD to work. Hallam sighed. "Alright. Corporal Deiran's squad is with me, as is Sargent Raine and his squad. With Staff Sergeant Samson will be Corporal Zanba and Sargent Redsont. And finally with the Spartans will be Sargent Bernard and... uhh..." Hallam faltered for a second. "Who's squad havn't I mentioned? Bloody data is corupt on my end too..." Hallam said, looking around at the men. There was probably only one squad short anyway.

Harry :152
Harry nodded over to the soldiers of Zeta Squad. “Sgt. Bernard you and your men are with us” The two squads mingled slowly. “Your sniper, Lock is it? He would do well to find a forward position to provide overwatch for the rest of the attack force, we’ll find you one if you like”
Gamma Two. He was second in command, of a now three man squad. He looked over to Evan, awaiting a rebuttal or Gamma One’s own orders.

"Wherever you want me sir," Lock spoke up lifting the snipe rifle up.
Bernard hadn't seen a Spartan this close in so long he looked as if the only difference was the visor, that was about it.

Crouching next to a large boulder, Ambr' looked through the carbine. Trying to spot any opponents in the distance that she could find and report to the superiors. Though there weren't any that were in her view. She abandoned the post and went on to seek in other places.

"Im in" Flores said to the rest of the squadron as they marched. He had money, the savings and pension of his parents was given to him after the attack on Harvest, he didn't needed the money nor being in the army anymore, although a couple of hours ago he had been scared to death, he was more relaxed now, he felt he had again a family, something to fight for again...they were going to protect him.
"Aaaaand I want to add a little extra, if thats ok with the team" He quickly looked around to his teammates. "If I win and if I don´t get killed, Lyons will have to have dinner with me" He finally said laughing a little bit just waiting for Lyons to hit him...

Minor Elite Vien 'Tionamee | Special Operations | Underneath the Covenant Assault Ship |
Vien was scanning the area with his Beam Rifle, looking for any sign of life. Currently, all he could notice was dust and the volcanic ground. He couldn't find anything worthy of his time while scanning the area. He sighed in boredom, and waited for something to happen. "So, Reg, you find anything out there?" Reg just looked at Vien like Vien was an idiot. "Of course not, there is nothing down here but rock and flames." "Why do you act so harsh upon me?" "Vien, you're one of the Sangheili, I have no reason to act kind towards you." Vien just sighed in disbelief, and began to scan the area once more, when a Minor Sangheili came towards him, and said, "Get back up to the ship, direct orders from our Commanders." "But, we'v-" "You're under direct orders." Vien gave up the argument, and him, and the Jackal that was listening went up the gravlift and was drawn back into the ship. Ultra Elite Roma 'Randjamee | Special Operations | Aboard the Covenant Assault Ship |
Roma stood in the halls with the rest of his squad that wasn't sent down the planet: Eltup, and Quen. The Sangheili was patient about the mission, waiting for any sign that the humans were about to attack. All the Elite could hear was the near silent hum of the ship, and Eltup and Quen bickering. "But Quen, me think Sangheili are honorable warriors!" Eltup tried to convince the Sangheili. "Your kind disgraces ours, don't even bother with us." Quen replied, harshly. Eltup replied, "That would be easy if you were never paired up with us!" Roma finally grew irritated with this group and stood up. "Listen, Vien and Reg are down on the surface, and we are up here, guarding the area. Quit your bickering." Just as Roma finished his sentence, a hairy Brute came up from behind, and tapped Roma in the shoulder. Roma turned around, to see the Brute. "Roma 'Randjamee?" the Brute indentified the Sangheili. "That would be me." Roma replied. "You're under orders by Shri T'ova to report to the bridge." Curious, the Elite replied with, "What does he need me for?" The Brute scoffed. "You Elites, always so curious. Just get over to the bridge." After finishing the remark, the Brute when on its way to somewhere else around the ship. "Alright. It appears I am wanted by an Executive," Ramo began saying to his squad, "Quen, you're in charge." he finished, and began to make his way towards the bridge. Once arriving, he entered.

February 28th, 2531 | Planet Tethe | Inside Gravity lift room |
Major Domo Keta Dutolee, CovenantKeta's impatience was growing, and the same went for his soldiers. Keta himself had been constantly fiddling with his carbine, cleaning and aiming it. Urgo and Trel had started sparring to pass the time, and the grunts had all been yapping away at each other. Keta had, for the moment, watched Urgo and Trel wrestle each other to the ground. Trel leapt at Urgo, crashing into Urgo and making him stumble back, but Urgo quickly grabbed Trel's chest, throwing Trel to the ground. Trel scrambled to his, before his mandibles met Urgo's fist, sending Trel flying back. Trel roared at Urgo, before Keta stepped in. "I think that's enough sparring for today, we need to be ready for a human attack, and that can come at any time, get back to your positions," Keta ordered, rubbing at his leg, which had tightened up from the lack of movement.

Ambr had made her way back to the place where she had began to scout. Her squadron all stood there awaiting there leader for there next commands. "Anything?" Question the minor sangheili to her grunts who dryly answered with a blunt no. Displeased with this, she continued on her way back to the gravlift. Her two grunts and jackal following behind. All acting as if they had done some major work. Lazy bums. Upon entering back inside the covenant ship and into the gravlift room. She spotted a few more elites, grunts, and jackals fooling around and waiting for there own set of commands. Recognizing one as Major Domo Keta Dutolee. Sitting down she waited for someone to tell her were to go next. She'd already scoped out the area and there didn't seem to be any sign of the humans, or atleast for now that it was it seemed like. Suddenly an unfamiliar brute popped up from out of no were, grabbing her by the shoulder and turning her around. "Your wanted at the bridge, commands directly from Executive Officer Shri T'ova" What exactly did the officer want? Thinking this to herself, she wandered down the longs halls of the ship till she reached the bridge. "Yes, sir?"

Harry: 152
“Golf, good god haven’t played the game in years” he laughed. Raising an arm in greeting before turning to one of his fellow fighter.
“Evan you want Lopez’s Golf or Bernard’s Zeta Squad?” Harry asked his superior Spartan, as team leader Evan could do pretty much whatever the hell he liked.
Joe looked a little moody about being deprived a squad, however he had got the AI, which was probably enough on the Spartan’s plate as it was.

Spartan 247 - Joe
Joe sat on a rock rechecking his dual silenced SMGs and assault rifle. They would be perfect for the stealth part of the mission and the loud portion as well.
"Dammit, Why are we still sitting around!?", Churchill shouted.
"We're waiting for the order", Joe told him.
"Well, why haven't we recieved the god damn orders?", Churchill asked angrily.
"We'll get the orders when the time comes", Joe informed Churchill.
The AI had become more impatiant during the time they had stayed at the LZ. On that note, Churchill was getting on Joe's last nerve. Joe clicked off the com and continued to inspect his weapons.

Executive Officer Shri T'ova | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Assault Carrier Pious Charity, Bridge |
Shri T'ova waited for some time before the first of his requested warriors arrived. Assassin Na'arui 'Keshkralee entered the bridge. Shri addressed him with honor, placing his arm over his chest and offering a small nod. "A group of special operations has ignored the standing orders I placed out. Because they are unable to follow directions on their own, I will be placing that entire lance....Under your command, Assassin." It was indeed an extraordinary position for Shri to take. However, he was short on resources. The Assassin would now have a lance. "Consider them volunteers for whatever role you see fit." Moments after Shri had informed the Assassin, Ultra Elite Roma 'Randjamee (Vien 'Tionamee) entered the bridge. The Major, had a very proficient running battle record, but Shri could not allow insubordination to upset the balance of the crew. "Major, I'm disappointed in your inability to follow orders. I've not known you to disobey established orders. I suppose it could be chalked up to the heat..." Shri clicked his mandibles. "Your squad is now on half rations. Also, you are being stripped of your command for the remainder of the mission. You are now under orders from Assassin Na'arui 'Keshkralee....Until the completion of our mission, or until otherwise directed by the Assassin, or myself." The Major would be following the orders of the Assassin, curious. However, Shri would allow the Assassin to restore the Major to power if he dictated it necessary in battle or otherwise. Shri looked to both the Major and the Assassin as Minor Ambr' Norutee entered the bridge. "Assassin, you know what your orders are. I expect you will have little more trouble finding volunteers now." Shri waited for the two to leave his bridge before focusing on Minor Ambr' Norutee. She was the only female Shri was aware of on the crew. Although the Sangheili ranks could be rife with sexism, Shri opted instead to focus on her record. "Minor, I do know of you. There was no merit you failed in during training. You even manage to survive the Human counter-assault on Arcadia. However, why now....Is it difficult to follow orders?" Shri clicked his mandibles, after seeing the small choker necklace around the Sangheili's neck. Surely not a regulation item, but it wouldn't concern him. "I'm not sure what to do with you, Minor. Your young enough to have made an honest folly. Should, you...Like the Major...Loose your command?" Shri was considering placing the Minor in Major Domo Keta 'Dutolee's lance. Cpl. Leon Carson - 1MSOB27 | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Landing Zone |
Renters was the first to whistle into his mic, when Flores asked Lyons on a date. Even Carson looked over to see the reaction. "Your a bit cocky aren't you, Rookie." She asked. She didn't necessarily answer his question though. "Don't keep the kid waiting, Lyons." Carson said. "I'll tell ya what, Rookie." She started. "You put extra in the pot....And you can sit next to me, when we make Renters buy us dinner. That's as good as I can do." Renters howled into his mic, and started laughing before Carson squelched his open mic. Everyone was wondering if the Rookie would be good with that, or would he press for more.

Minor Ambr' Norutee | Planet- Lethe | Covenant Assault Carrier/ Bridge |
When arriving into the assault carrier's bridge, Ambr surveyed the place. Seeing the executive officer Shri T'ova finish up his commands to the assassin and major. As she watched them skirt by her, she acknowledged them with a respectful bow of the head. Before turning her concentration back to Shri. "Minor, I do know of you. There was no merit you failed in during training. You even manage to survive the Human counter-assault on Arcadia. However, why now....Is it difficult to follow orders?"
Ambr' Norutee began to think of what to say. She stayed silent for the time being, knowing he would continue on and it would be rude to cutoff him in mid-sentence. When her eyes trailed back to her commanding officer, she became somewhat tense when he looked curiously at the necklace she wore around her neck. Hoping he would demean her because of the object she wore.
"I'm not sure what to do with you, Minor. Your young enough to have made an honest folly. Should, you...Like the Major...Loose your command?"
"My apologizes, sir. For not following the right procedures. I assumed that the infantry were supposed to go and scope out the area and report any enemy sightings directly to head command. No, I do not wish to be stripped of command but..-" She didn't continue on anymore and awkwardly paused for a moment. Moving onto something else. "If I am a further hindrance to you or any of the others- then do what must be done." She finished off, clasping both of her hands together. Lowering her head like a sad dog.

Captain Andrew Hallam | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Landing Zone |
"Alright, we're good to go, no sense in wasting any more time." Hallam said. "Alpha Platoon you're with me!" Hallam shouted, walking off towards the edge of the crator which housed the LZ. "We'll approch in a 3 pronged pincer move. Charlie will approach dead center towards Target Hades while Alpha and Bravo will flank left and right respectively. Once in position we will storm the Grav Lift and secure the area." Hallam hopped over the edge of the crator and slid the small distance down the other side, landing on his feet. "Lets move out. Wouldn't want to keep them waiting." Hallam said as he lead Alpha platoon off due north-east towards the left flank of Target Hades...

Assassin Na'arui 'Keshkralee | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Assault Carrier Pious Charity, Outside the Bridge |
Edited for confusion between names/rank -HeartstrikerAfter the Ship-Master was done addressing Na'arui, he placed his fist on his chest with respect and bowed his head, then left the Bridge. He looked over to Major Vien 'Tionamee. " Ultra 'Ranjamee..." Na'arui paused, " You and your lance have been placed under my command by Shri T'ova. I expect you to treat me accordingly, with respect and discipline." He jerked his head to the other Major, Major N'tak 'Nagalee, who stepped forward. " I want you to search the decks for any capable stealth Sangheili. You will be in charge of them." " Yes, commander. He said, glancing over at the other Major Domo. Ntak 'Nagalee left into the ship. " 'Ranjamee... I will allow you to continue command of your group on these two conditions. First that you always carry out my orders above your own, and secondly, that you recognize that I am not relieving full command to you until the end of the operation, or further notice." Na'arui's voice became less firm and more relaxed now. " Let us go now, brother. There is much work to be done!" Assassin Na'arui 'Keshkralee | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Beside the Grav Lift |
As Na'arui finally touched ground, he scoped the area around him. It was a panoramic fiery wasteland sure to hold surprises wherever they go. His gloss-white armor gave a reddish glow from the reflection of the planets surface. " Ultra 'Ranjamee. I want you to stay close to me. You and the rest of this lance are to hold your fire until commanded otherwise." He noticed how sure he was when he spoke. " ...If you should happen to see anything, or in the unlikely event that the Humans find us. No exceptions."

Wow wow wow, hold it Maxii. All I did was go over the side of the Crater that out LZ is situated in, Target Hades is still 2 miles away. Just back it up a bit and try again mate. ;D
-Elando
/Sierra 152
Harry looked towards the rest of Gamma, and their newly assigned fellow fighters. “I’ll take point, G1 take Lock and any other snipers to an overwatch position at the crater, rest of you stay with me” he grinned and started to jog.
As he ran up the crater, Harry pulled out his pistol, diving to the ground. He peered over the crater and surveyed the Grav Lift. He gulped. “G2, in position” A pang of doubt appeared to have been felt by the soldier, who shook the feeling off and took out one of the grenades that had been comically inscribed by Evan. “G2, commencing fire” he calmly stated.
He cooked one of these explosive projectiles and threw it downwards. Then with a grin he holstered the pistol and went for the Assault Rifle, grinning at the men that surronded him he jumped over the crater and started to unload all 64 Rounds as he slid down.

February 28th, 2531 | Planet Tethe | Inside Gravity lift room |
Major Domo Keta Dutolee, CovenantIt amazed Keta how quickly his soldiers impatience had grown, but sitting around wasn't something any of them were used to. Usually, they were at least preparing for combat. Trel had even consorted to tossing Grunts around just to keep from the boredom. Finally, Keta had enough of it, "Urgo, you're in charge, keep everyone on task," Keta ordered before walking out of the Gravity Lift Room, heading straight to the Bridge.
" Officer Shri T'ova, sorry to interrupt, but I request your audience," Keta said as respectfully as he could, pounding his fist against his chest in a salute. He hoped Shri didn't take his intrusion the wrong way, but Keta thought it was important that he was heard. Still, Keta thought he might be pushing his luck, as this surely hadn't been the most satisfying day for the commanding officer.

*I’m going to go with my new, currently unapproved character (cause nobody will look at it), just for lols... and so elando can yell at me*
Ultra Krisane ‘Ussafee walked along the purple, poorly lit hallway of the pious charity, his footsteps clunking on the metal floor. The ship had holes in the hull now and then, but engineers had repaired enough to make it keep out the vacuum of space, or mid atmosphere, or wherever the hell they were in on this ship. He didn’t like it. We would rather the humans’ just attack to keep him interested at least. There was nothing on this planet, no scenery or anything, let alone life. Sangheili were running through the hallways everywhere, all towards the bridge. Krisanee hoped the sangheili would run in and report a human force massing, but time after time they rushed right by him and asked questions and talking casually to Shri T’ova. He leaned on the wall that stood as the border of the brightly light bridge alive with the flash of buttons, and the hallways, dark and quiet. Shri T’ova dismissed a few other sangheili, notably a female one in the midst, and the next group walked in.

(( That's a good way for you to get one step closer to getting pwned by the banhammer And I thought that high ranks weren't supposedly being thrown out.)) Quoted by Mr.Prezident on Quol 'Oulomee
Yes, make sure to put that in your profile...BUT at the most I am thinking you will get Major Domo. Although Minor seems the most fitting. We don't want to be just handing out high ranks, (Ultra is pretty damn high) especially to those inexperienced in RPing, you aren't a horrible poster but I don't think Ultra is suiting for you.
Off Topic I know. Just waiting for my turn to post.

OOC: Sorry for the short Carson post, sorry for taking a while. Work, I know you understand...Or at least you should all you teenagers...I may come back and edit my post for Carson if no one posts before that. Executive Officer Shri T'ova | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Assault Carrier Pious Charity, Bridge |
Shri T'ova focused on what the female Sangheili - Ambr 'Norutee said. Lowering her head like a sad dog.Shri T'ova could respect her for standing up to what was coming. "No, Minor. I believe this was a folly. Your instinct was correct, normally infantry would be on the ground. If you think the likes of our kind are restless...Can you imagine the Brutes? Now think of them in the way of our repair teams....And perhaps you would understand my position. Go forth, Minor and steel yourself for what may come." Shri T'ova had issued his one warning to the Sangheili. He would treat her, according to her rank and merit. He could not allow personal feelings to enter into play. Whether those feelings were that the female did or did not deserve her position in the military. Moments later, Major Domo Keta Dutolee entered the bridge, requesting an audience. Shri T'ova excused Ambr 'Norutee with a nod. After she was nearly out of the bridge, Shri focused his attention to the Major, returning the salute. "Yes, Major, of course." Shri T'ova sat at the command chair and split his attention between the display screens with all the updates scrolling over, and the Major before him. Shri preempted his movement. "Forgive me, Major. I do not mean to belittle you or your presence. However, I must also check over these reports. I assure you, I am listening to you with my utmost attention." Cpl. Leon Carson - 1MSOB27 | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Landing Zone |
Staff Sergeant Samson returned to the group before coming over the radio. " Corporal Zanba, Sergeant Redsont, sound off, and form up." Carson looked to Flores and gave him a thumbs up for Lyons as the team started to meet where Samson was. After everyone started falling in, the team started up the crater. The team stayed relatively quiet, as it was now the proverbial calm before the storm.

OOC: Jeez my posting has gone down, shouldn't have taken such a long break from RPing I understand caster, at the very least I know its a better reason to not be here than being lazy *cough cough* February 28th, 2531 | Planet Tethe | Pious Charity, Bridge |
Major Domo Keta Dutolee, CovenantKeta nodded, "I understand, on my way here I could tell how hectic things were around the ship," Keta continued, "but I know the Sangheili are getting impatient. We know the enemy is out there, but we don't get our chance to fight them. Besides, I do not think the Brutes should be on patrol, they don't have the attention span to keep at their work, and I doubt they would report in if they got the chance to destroy the humans on their own. The Sangheili should be the ones scouting, we know what to look for, and we shouldn't be holed up in here." It had come out a little bit different then he had meant it, but he had mostly said what he wanted to. He was sure Shri had already addressed the problem, but he wanted to bring it to light, Keta could imagine that Beneficent lance and Champion lance had already left the ship.

((I understand Caster. It's cool. How do you request for an energy sword? Through RP or PM))Minor Ambr' Norutee | Planet Lethe | Covenant Assault Carrier/ Exiting Bridge |
"No, Minor. I believe this was a folly. Your instinct was correct, normally infantry would be on the ground. If you think the likes of our kind are restless...Can you imagine the Brutes? Now think of them in the way of our repair teams....And perhaps you would understand my position. Go forth, Minor and steel yourself for what may come." Shri T'ova seemed to give her some kind of hidden respect as he began to converse with her. "I see." Responded Ambr to the executive officer. Before turning away after being dismissed with a single nod. The minor headed down the maze like halls of the carrier to the armory. Where several covenant weapons ranging from plasma pistols - to brute shots- and energy swords. She gazed tentatively at the energy sword. Hesitant to grab one, even though she had the knowledge to wield one and the blood of a swordsman coursing through her. She grabbed the plasma rifle, and a few plasma grenades. Pausing for several minutes, the thought of the energy sword popped up once again. Ambr pondered and paced. Wondering if she could possibly request one. No.. Yes.. No.. Silently arguing with herself inside of her head.

Corporal Andrew Deiran Indigo Squad En Route to Target Hades, Left Flank |
"Yes sir!" Andrew replied to Captain Hallam. He followed the ODST to the slope, along with the rest of Alpha Platoon. "You heard him, let's move!" he called to the others as he slid down. After a while of jogging, Andrew glanced back at the platoon. It was obvious the heat was getting to the troops. He resisted the temptation to bite into his water pouch; he knew he would need the water later. He inspected his weaponry to ensure they still worked, the heat might swell the components up and jam the gun. After he was sure he wouldn't be caught with his trousers down in a firefight, he carried on after the Captain.

Executive Officer Shri T'ova | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Assault Carrier Pious Charity, Bridge |
Shri T'ova had wished Major Domo Keta Dutolee had been here moments earlier when he answered the same question for Ambr. "Catharsis will keep his pack in line. He knows what is at stake, he seeks the favor of the Prophets." Shri looked to the Major. "You must respect the larger picture, Major. We have been here for fifteen days...The Sangheili are just starting to become restless....Can you imagine if the Brutes were on board? The two must be separated....And I am unwilling to send the Sangheili. If the humans attack....What they come for is on THIS ship....Not below it. Should we have to, we leave them. However, if the humans were to breach the ship would you trust the defense of the ship to the undisciplined, rage filled Brutes?" Shri asked the question but he felt the Major was now following his logic. "The Brutes would have only caused problems with the repair teams. Might as well have them walk in circles." Shri's attention was diverted as the new fifteen minute report filtered in. According to Kal, the slight interference from the ridge of the gravity lifts crater was still there. Shri continued speaking. "And no....Major....We don't know that any humans have followed us here. That's why we must be ready." Shri glanced back to the Major....He wanted to be sure what was at steak was understood, and why he had the defenses set up as they were. "Besides, the tactical mind of the Sangheili should surely help us better repel our borders. And if one more Sangheili disobeys my orders....I'm afraid I will have to do something drastic...Like execute them." Shri clicked his bottom mandibles, frustration perhaps?

WO Steve 'Crash' Colsten ONI En Route to Target Hades |
Crash had been asleep when the pelican had first touched down. He managed to nod off earlier, on the uneventfull flight. He found the voice of the ODST had been strikingly familiar. It had took him a moment to place it; It was the same soldier who had restrained him weeks earlier back at Arcadia. After that startling discovery, he'd decided not to talk around him as much. As official as his position was right now, he doubted the trooper would appreciate it. The harsh, warm air had been a sudden discomfort to him, that had awoken him from his slumbers. The troops had milled around for a while before moving off. Although, he perhaps should wait with the pelicans - Ideally untill the area surrounding the Grav-Lift had been secured, then he could move in with the other platoons. His skills would not be needed up til that point, but still... He got up, stretched, grabbed his pack, checked his gun and raced out of the pelican. His many years of urban free-running helped him quickly traverse the barren rocky slope, until he joined the back of a squad heading out. Although he found himself rapidly being exhausted by the heat, the lightweight flight suit was far more flexible. Oh the joy's the freedom of ONI brought him, he thoughtfully mused to himself. He didn't even need to follow an assigned squad...

Ultra Esto 'Aorudee | Planet - Lethe | Covenant Assault Carrier/Gravity Lift Hallway |
Esto's sluggish body, quickly lifted as he stood up from the ground. His large, tall body slowly turned around. His face clocked right, staring deep into the eyes of his comrades. With a slow pace, Esto slowly walked over to first squad's commander, Ckbr 'Cajatee. "Ckbr, give me a Sitrep." "Well Sir, we are currently setting up defensive positions around the Gravity lift. Everyone is here at this time."Esto swiftly gave a solid grunt, acknowledging the words he had just listened to. "Ckbr, this is what I need to happen. I want first and second squad to stay at the Gravity lift entrance, one squad to each side. Third shall stay back and cover the hallway leading the entrance of the gravity lift." "What about the Hunters?""The hunters shall stay with me at the Bridge, that shall be our last stand. Im counting on you to protect the Gravity lift at this time." Ckbr quickly nodded and dismissed himself away. Esto watched as his fellow Sangheili went away to do as he was told. It wouldn't be too long until all the squads were in position. Before Esto would leave, he shouted quickly out to his men. "Comrades under my command, engage active camouflage when necessary, try to keep the element of surprise for as long as you can. " With this said, Esto turned around and walked dearly towards the ships bridge. There he would defend along with his fellow squad, the Hunters.

Minor Ambr' Norutee | Planet Lethe | Covenant Assault Carrier/ Grav Lift Room |
After finally resolving her gun issue, she had finally picked a needler and made her way back to the grav lift room. Surveying the room before her seeing it was far more crowded than when she had left to see what Shri T'ova had wanted from a minor like her. It was swarmed with several sangheili all mostly higher in rank than herself, quite a few brutes and many jackals and grunts wrestling or doing something foolish.
Ambr sighed and found a place among the other sangheili who seemed to take little interest in her. She rifled around with her carbine a bit. Examining the ammo, reloading and unloading it due to her frustration and stress from the coming battle. The humans were out there somewhere and it seemed like it would never begin.
