Major Assassin Na'arui 'Keshkralee | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | AC Pious Charity |
Na'arui awoke, late in the day from a temporary coma caused by the violent crash landing into Lethe. His vision was still very hazy and he felt sore all over, but he managed to muster up the strength to get up. He blinked several times, clearign his vision a bit better each time. As Na'arui placed a hand over his foggy head, he felt several bandages wrapped around. Essentially, he was fine now, but the crash shook him up and it probably wasn't a good idea to do any heavy work for a few days. This did not stop him from doing so. " What happened to the ship..." He thought aloud, nobody was there to hear. Quickly Na'arui reached for his special armor, which sat neatly in the corner of the room he was being held in. He suited up and put it on piece by piece. Every part was a glimmering white, perfectly polished and unscathed. Na'arui made his way out of the room and down the hollow beaten corridors of the ship. Not too soon after, he came across groups of grunts and others who were repairing parts or carrying supplies for the repairs and such. " What has happened in my slumber? Na'arui asked with a somewhat puzzled look, mandibles cracking around. A grunt replied, "You were unconcious after the crash. The ship crash 15 days ago. Many of us are making repairs. Rest are outside patrolling." With a single quick nod, Na'arui began to quickly walk towards the bridge, where he hoped he would find some answers. He made his way through the large doors, which opened rather slowly and approached deep inside the bridge. He passed two Hunters on the way in, which made him a bit concerned at the situation at hand. As politely as he could, he addressed the Elite at the helm. Na'arui was still a bit dazed, though, and it showed. " Sub Master, Sir.... What is the status of the ship? And judging by what I have seen, I suspect the situation on the outside is no better?" He asked.

Corporal Andrew Deiran Indigo Squad Aboard Super-Six-Four |
Andrew was nudged awake by Sarah, as the ODST Staff Sergeant gave him orders. He groggily payed attention to the orders, and nodded once the Sergeant had finished. "You got it, sir. Are we to protect the VIP until he transfers to another squad?" Andrew didn't know if the ONI Spook had a team on a different Pelican, already on Lethe or whether we would just switch squads as he pleased. ONI was rarely trusted in the Marine Corps, despite the fact they knew they were just as important as any gun. Strangely, Andrew thought he recognised the voice of the Spook, but couldn't put his finger on it.

8 Nodded. "Watch him until he gets to another squad." ============================================================== When the Pelican was only a half hour away from its destination 8 unbucled himself and stood up in the pelicans bay. 8 placed his hands parallel to the cieling and raised nad lowered them, yelling "Foxtrot Up!" The squad complied and stood up, staring at him. This time he had his arms shapped like L's and parallel to the sides "Equipment On!" At this The ODST troopers grabbed Backpacks and threw them on, strapped Ammo and gear to themselves, placed weapons on their backs, and checked thier suits and guns. 8 patted his chest with open palms. "Equipment Check!" Each ODST trooper checked themselves and then the person next to them. "10 Good!" "9 good!" "8 good!' "7 Good!" "6 Good!" "5 Good" "4 Good" "3 GOOD! "2 Good" "1 Good."
The ODST squads mood had visibly changed. Tom no longer looking like a jester who happened to be wearing a ODST's hev suit. He looked like a trained Killer holding a Battle Rifle.
8 placed his hands on his chest, then pushed down. "Sit down!" Each of the ODST troopers sat down, in thier seats, no longer buckled in. He then looked to Shelby "Ask the captain to open the back, and turn the music down. We dont want them to hear us."
The soldiers were ready, and ready for battle, but visibly nervous. Although thier coping methods had changed. Tom held in his hand his magnum. It had no magazine in it, but he just held it, clicking the trigger. Several members stared at the ground, or some odd object, just staring. Richard held a piece of cloth in his hand. If Dusty had to guess it looked like a babys blanket shred. Dusty had a combat knife in his hand and he was rolling it over his knuckles.

Also sorry about the lack of description and stuff but at a bit of a lose at what to put!

“Oi! Cabbie lets get going!” Harry shouted towards the closed cockpit of the Pelican. Banging on the side of the craft additionally to annoy the pilot into action.
“Thanks Evan for the grenades, personalised as well?” Harry grinned “Can’t have been cheap, you know how to treat a guy” he laughed as he collated all his gear together and placed the weapons into their holsters.
“I see Joe got the AI?” he noticed. “What’s he like?” inquired the Spartan.

Rocco Evans | Super Six Four | 30 Minutes from 1st company DZ |
The rear of the Pelican was filled with the voices of the ODSTs going over their equipment. When they were done the leader looked to Shelby, when he was done Shelby stood up from her seat and looked to David who had turned the music on his PDA off and stood in his from his seat too. “Masks on, Masks on and secure” Shelby requested the soldiers in the back of her Pelican as she walked the center isle. As she passed the ODST Tom she tapped him on the head to say good luck. Reaching the rear door she stepped up to the panel on the left side of the Pelican, before she opened it she looked to David who was now unhooking the rear chain gun from its ceiling mount. When David detached the chain gun and balanced in at the ceiling with only his hand Shelby opened the panel and throw the switch inside. The rear door of the Pelican hissed as the atmospheric seal was broken and it folded down to become a ramp. With the door down the hot atmosphere of Lethe enveloped the pelican, at the back door Shelby and David could feel the heat through their suits. In the Pelican’s cockpit Rocco and Courtney could also feel the heat from the Lethe’s surface. Rocco looked to the two Pelicans in front of him then the waypoint of the drop zone on his HUD, they were thirty minutes out. “Thirty minutes.” Rocco said calmly to Courtney. “Thirty minutes.” Courtney echoed for Shelby and David. “Thirty minutes.” Shelby hollered for the soldiers in the back of the Pelican as she paced the center isle checking the stowed gear. Lieutenant Samuel “Murph” Murphy | Surface of Lethe | In a position over looking the Grav Lift below Pious Charity |
Murph felt something disturb the ground beside him, right next to his rocket launcher beside him. It could have bee the wind but Murph suddenly felt pressure on his back, focusing every bodily effort to remain still Murph slowed his breathing. As Murph lay still he could only image soon Jackal or Brute getting curious and pushing on an odd look rock. The pressure soon was relieved and Murph realized it could have been a Covenant putting their weapon on what they though was the ground to rest. Murph and Axe lay next to one another as they had for hours for thirty more minutes when two Grunts came waddling toward them. The two Grunts seemed to be carrying what resembled Camera equipment. One of the Grunts stopped and pointed its Camera in the near-by carter side. At this point Murph was sure his hide wasn’t spotted; he thought that the short wave transmissions to the Recon 5-7 must had been picked up as interference by the Covenant. Given his situation Murph could only guess that the same event was repeated at the two other hide locations of the other SOG members. Murph continued to watch the Grunt make their ascent and pass behind his hide. The grunts spent fifteen minutes behind Murph before they pass Murph again this time going down hill away from him. It was a relief because the Grunts would be this calm if they had detected his hide. Murph also had faith in the Ghille blanket he and Axe hid under, the fabric was a nano weave that acted like the skin of an octopus to mimic the ground it was over. The octopus like mimicry only worked to visually camouflage the wearer. To combat infrared heat detection the nano fibers that made up the blanket could match themselves to the ambient ground temperature. Murph and Axe would have been easily detect by infrared if it weren’t for the fact that they had been under the blanket for hours and it had matched the ambient ground temperature long ago. Glancing at the time displayed in his visor Murph realized given the time table, the Assault force should be touching down soon.

The Omega Squad Leader, John Raine, tapped on the door of the cockpit for an update. After some quiet talk he returned.
"Alright men. We're thirty minutes out. Thirty minutes out from what possibly could be your deathbed or your time to shine and regardless of which it is, this may very well be the hardest fight of your life. Leo and Leopard, I want you to keep an eye on this kid. Make sure he doesn't get himself killed. Justin, I know you are fresh out of Basic, but believe you me, you DON'T know everything and today is gonna be a Trial by Fire. Gunny, be smart and blow the piss out of everything that is purple and glowy, but don't kill us. Alright men? Now suit the fuck up and be ready to go."
As he finished the Pelican doors opened wide to reveal the landscape of Lethe. The heat was sucked in and Justin was even then sweating inside of his mask and suit.

Major Ntak 'Nagalee | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | AC Pious Charity Bridge |
Behind Na'arui came Ntak 'Nagalee, his one and only squad mate. Unlike Na'arui, who wore all white, Ntak's Armor was a scarlet red, indicating his rank as Major. However, he was also part of Special Operations as of recently. He took off his masked helmet and put one hand on Na'arui's shoulder as he began to speak. "Na'arui, sir, the ship has crash-landed," Ntak looked away hesitantly, then quickly looked back, "and anyone not involved in repairing the ship is currently patrolling the surrounding area in case the Humans try and give chase." He gave one pat on the shoulder to Na'arui, before stepping back once and looking at Shri T'ova. "Oh, you will have to excuse me, your excellency." Ntak left the bridge and slowly headed for the grav lift. He walked into the purple beam and was quickly sent downwards to the outside world. This place, however, was very hot and dense, and the terrain appeared rugged around him as more and more became visible. Before he reached the surface, he fastened his mask around his head and mandibles. Ntak took a few shorts steps outwards and crossed both hands behind his back. He scanned the area in front of him a couple times with his eyes. He could see the grunts and brutes walking about, patrolling for Humans or enemies. However, he was used to being placed in tough situations in hostile environments. And he left nothing to chance. Though he was slightly lower in rank then Na'arui, they met eye to eye in their thinking and tactical abilities. So he just stood there and oversaw all that was going on. He would make an immediate report to Na'arui and the Sub-Master if anything was even slightly out of the norm. Assassin Na'arui 'Keshkralee | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | AC Pious Charity Bridge |
" So, Sub-Master, what will you have me do...?" Na'arui asked firmly ready for duty.

Corporal Andrew Deiran Indigo Squad 30 Minutes from the Drop Zone Aboard Super-Six-Four |
As the heat washed over them, Andrew racked his Assault Rifle as his team did likewise with their weapons. They weren't carrying as much equipment as the ODSTs, so all they had to do was ready their weapons. The red and black surface of Lethe greeted them as the Marines gazed out at the hell that the UNSC brass had decided to send them to. As far as he could tell, this wasn't a mission, it was a suicide run. "Welcome to Hell, Population: Us!" Adam joked as they all started to sweat under the intense heat.

Sergeant Louis Bernard Zeta Squad LZ The squad's pelican came in hot due to the heat even though the pelican seemed certainly fine, they could still feel some of the heat leaking through. As they landed, the door quickly opened. The heat filled their suits almost instantly making them sweat. "Damn," Bernard spoke, "This must be worser than the Sahara." "Yea got that right, sir," Parron replied. They gathered their weapons and made their way out of the pelican, only stopping to see the others moving together. The squad did the same, wandering to the rest. (( Useful: I'd recommend stepping back abit, maybe in time with Cracker's 30 min ETA. Give the SPARTies a chance and Elando time to get online. So disregard this 'till he edits it from a landing or I get word otherwise. ))

Executive Officer - Shri T'ova | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | AC Pious Charity, Bridge |
Shri T'ova was still monitoring incoming reports when Assassin Na'arui 'Keshkralee entered the bridge and asked what the status was. Lucky for Na'arui Shri was at the helm and not Joo'nae. Such a gregious breach of conduct to interrupt the ship-master when he could have easily been updated by another. Shri, was glad to see yet another warrior survived the blast of the engines. Major Ntak 'Nagalee, answered the question before Shri could, and then departed the bridge. Shri allowed him to without a word in his direction, then he focused on Na'arui. "The Major was correct, Assassin. Repairs are starting on the main generators now. Brutes are in charge of exterior patrols while the Elites handle interior security." Na'arui asked what he should be tasked with. "I feel your specific talents would be best used in setting up ambush points and roaming stealth patrols." Shri tasked Na'arui with organizing active camouflage capable soldies and setting roaming patrols and static guards at sensitive areas or places likely to be used during an assault. OOC: Everyone: Hallam's on the first bird in. When he posts that he lands, then everyone can start landing. Follow the story. Whether it was blatant disregard for posts or perhaps if some people aren't reading them all the way through (everyone skims at some point, I have). Be sure you're on cue with the storyline, so as not to waste time, effort and energy.

Neil woke Cody just before reentry, which went rather smoothly. When they got into the atmosphere, Cody lowered the bay door, which was followed by a wave of complaints from the soldiers in the cargo area. Cody smiled. He loved to spite his passengers when he could.
"ETA 30 minutes, start getting ready soldiers." Cody said on the intercom.

Captain Andrew Hallam | Sierra Squad | Landing at 1st company DZ |
The Pelican swiveled round, positioning the hatch onto the DZ. As the hatch openned Hallam flicked his hand twice in a pointing motion towards the open hatch, motioning his squad to move out. "Pile out! Go go!" Hallam shouted. He jumped off the Pelican and onto the blackened, ash filled world, his boots crunching on the cooled lava that covered the surface. "Sierra, secure the DZ. I want firing arcs overlapping all around the DZ. I don't want any suprises this early in." Hallam said, moving his hand in a circular motion near his head. The squad moved in silence, covering all the angles that lead into the rather large shallow crater they had chosen as the DZ. The crater offered excellent cover from radar and sensors, but was a prime ambush point. Hallam looked behind him and waved the Pelican off as the last man stepped off. As it lifted off he could see the rest of the convoy in the distance, closing in on the DZ. He walked backwards, keeping his eyes on the 2nd Pelican the come in, waving his arms in various signals to guide the Pelican in to land. As it did so it was followed by the others, gradually landing and delivering their cargo. "Alright! Disembark! 1st company, rally on me! 2nd and 3rd, secure the DZ!" Hallam yelled, jogging away from the Pelican landing zones and waiting for the members of 1st company to gather round him.

Super-Six-Seventeen, Lethe
Cody slowly lowered the pelican by the DZ, while Neil dealt with the landing gear. When they touched the ground, Cody lowered the power enough that it wont fly away, and gave Neil the controls before jumping out with the soldiers in the cargo area and jogging to Hallam.
When he got to Hallam, he waited until it seemed he was free for his question.
"Sir, are we staying at the DZ, or are we heading back? Excuse me if you mentioned it in the briefing." Cody asked.
Zeus Squad, Lethe
John and the rest of Zeus Squad jumped out the back of the pelican the second it touched the ground, along with the pilot who got out and jogged to Hallam.
"OK men! Help secure the DZ! Go, go, go!" barked Greg.
"Yes, sir!" replied the squad.

Executive Officer - Shri T'ova | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | AC Pious Charity, Bridge |
Na'arui answered. "Immediately, ship master.... I do not work with a lance. Permission to gather who I can from onboard, sir?" Shri nodded his head and clicked his mandibles. "Yes, take who you need. But do not take anyone ordered to the repair crew." As Na'arui apologized for his rash entrance to the bridge, Shri waved his hand dismissively. He had already decided that the intrusion was not a egregious error. Lt. Allison Westbrooke - Super Six One | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Landing Zone |
Allison could see Captain Hallam waving her in. She followed his cues and brought the Pelican out and around. After her chalk had disengaged, she hovered low in the crater. As she was in a gunship, if they did encounter a patrol, she could dump them perhaps faster than they could relay their coordinates. Cpl. Leon Carson - 1MSOB27 | System: Gilese 876, Planet: Lethe | Landing Zone |
Samson was the first one to hop off the pelican, with Koopman right behind him. Carson looked down across Renault to Flores and gave him a nod. Carson and Renters were the next off. Carson followed after Samson along with Koopman and Renters, the rest of Echo squad following in single-file. Then Captain Hallam's blared over the radio. "Alright! Disembark! 1st company, rally on me! 2nd and 3rd, secure the DZ!" Samson walked up to Sergeant Pink of Hallam's squad and patted his shoulder before giving him a thumbs up. Samson looked to the squad and made a circle with his finger, before making a fist and pushing it out. The group fanned out around Captain Hallam's to secure the immediate are of Company One and the Command Staffers in the center. Sure, second and third had the LZ perimeter, but extra protection was always nice. Samson needed to give his people something to do in the mean time to keep them frosty. Echo squad, minus Koopman and Samson focused on 360 o of coverage at the craters rim. Carson didn't like being on the low ground, but sometimes it was tactically acceptable. Carson sighted in on the rim and swept his weapon for contacts, he noted Renters was off to his right...

Justin Trekker Omega Squad His sweat evaporated long before it ever reached his eyes which was a good thing after all. Their Pelican waited in a line and when it was their turn it touched down. The Omega Squad was up and read and in a line long before they touched down, because no sooner than Gunny touched the black ashy ground of Lethe did the Pelican take off. "Alright Men! Flores smiled as the other cheered him up and felt safe now, he grabbed his rifle and check the ammunition, then this pistol, all around him he could hear the sound of the weapons being loaded. He felt the Pelican hitting the floor, he was ready...at least for the moment. He heard the order and quickly descend form the pelican with Renault next to him.
When he had finished moving he was between Renters and Lyons, he was nervous again, now on the floor when anything could jump out of everywhere and kill them, he opened a link to his squad.
"So Echo...we are on the ground now...anybody wants to bet how many you can kill before finishing your rounds?"
Yeah right...probably he was going to finish all his ammo before killing a couple of enemies, but he was trying to remain calm

Carson looked towards Lyons then to Flores, before coming over the squad comm. "Renters still holds the pot on that one. Although I still hold that counting grunts and jackals is ridiculous." Renters was quick to retort. "Hey, if you spent more time shooting and less time aiming, maybe you would win every engagement." Carson ignored the comment. "Sure, Rookie. There's a hundred credit buy in. Best kill count at the end of the op takes the pot." Lyons spoke up next. "Only join if you feel like loosing your money rookie. Only Carson and Renters do that anymore. They convoluted everything. Then they start counting assists....Renters generally wins." Rochester spoke up after Lyons. "Yeah, but we make him buy the food when we get back. So it evens out." Lawrence was next. "Yeah, so if you think about it. We've been really getting Renters and Carson's money for like......What, a year and a half or something?" Long spoke up. "Yeah, that sounds about right." Carson just opened his mic and breathed heavily into for a moment before it squelched. He imagined everyone was getting a good chuckle off of it, Rookie might not understand the inside part of the joke. Renault was sighting on a target and forgot his mic was open, and the team had to listen to him breathing for about fifteen minutes.

"Sir, are we staying at the DZ, or are we heading back? Excuse me if you mentioned it in the briefing." Lt Cody asked. "Lieutenant. The Pelicans are staying grounded at the DZ for now with 2nd and 3rd company. You'll be ferrying them in to the Assault Carrier and carrying any wounded out once we disable the point defence weapons aboard the Carrier." Hallam replied. "Right. 1st company, you're on me. You're all under my command but Staff Sergeant Samson, you're in charge of Bravo Platoon." He said, pointing to the ODST. "And the Spartans have command of Charlie Platoon. I have Alpha. The troop lists should be on your Heads Up Display, get organised. We move out for the Grav Lift in 5 minutes." ((OOC: I'll put up the troop listings somewhere like the Overview or something soon. "Alright, let's go." Andrew said into the squad comm as he dropped off the Pelican, Indigo behind him. They fanned out to ensure the rear was secure, then he opened a comm link to the ODST squad's sergeant. "Sir, the DZ looks clear. Should be fine for the Spook." He relaxed slightly as the rest of the force touched down, encountering no resistance. As Captain Hallam issued his orders, Andrew checked his HUD. “Evan your Squad Leader, you should take control of Charlie Platoon, seeming Joe’s got the AI, Damn I feel left out!” Harry grinned towards his friends. He had jumped out of the Pelican as soon as possible and had sped up to Hallam.
“Five Minutes?” Harry spoke aloud, wondering what to do. Hell, he’d take point.
He moved swiftly and silently, pistol in hand just in case he needed to use it. Harry was not going to be spotted, he would just move on up a little, perhaps he could command Charlie Platoon if Evan was too busy co-ordinating the Spartans with the rest of the military force.

[Spartan 178-Joe] Joe jumped from the pelican and landed on the burning planet. Dust was in the air but it was visible enough to see 15 yards around the LZ. It looked like a red fog had rolled in and hung on them. "Reminds me of that legend of the red mist", Churchill said. Joe nodded, it would allow decent cover but it had a feeling of death about it. Joe grabbed his silenced SMGs and ran up to Hallam. "Ready and willing sir", Joe saluted. [ODST Sergeant Jack Redsont] Redsont breathed silently in his helmet as he stared into the dust. It would be difficult to tell the direction of the Assault Carrier with this dust everywhere. Redsont sighed and checked his weapon again. This would be the 10th time he checked it and it was the only thing that kept him from being angry at himself. "Sarge, you doing alright", Fred asked through the private com. Redsont turned towards Fred and nodded, it was a lie and Fred knew it. Still, Fred left well enough alone and went back to chatting with the rest of the team. Redsont looked back at the dust and rechecked his weapon for the 11th time.

Minor Elite Vien 'Tionamee | Special Operations | Aboard the Covenant Assault Ship |
Vien 'Tionamee, a Special Operations Sangheili in charge of demolitions within his squad of five. He was trained in the art of marksmanship, but the Kig-Yar in his squad was in charge of that. His leader had assigned him to protect the gravlift outside of the ship with Reg-Grew, a Major Kig-Yar who was also a Covenant sniper; while the rest of his squad stayed aboard the ship to protect it in case of the event that the Humans managed to make it to the gravlift, which in Vien's mind, they wouldn't. After all, they were inferior, but they did manage to get lucky every now and then. Still, under Vien's watch, he would make sure they were not successful with capturing the gravlift, or he hoped. The Sangheili was still, not armed, and would not be successful in his mission without the proper equipment. As he walked into the armory, he scanned around to see if anyone in his squad was inside. He was unsuccessful in finding anybody from his squad, but there were several Infantry around, prepping for the mission. He kept his walking pace and went into the armor section. Due to the harsh conditions of the planet's atmosphere, he was forced to wear the Assault-variant armor. Having been among the Special Operations unit for over a three years, he was used to this sort of armor, though, as they usually fought in low-gravity scenarios. After Vien finished outfitting in his sealed Assault armor, he continued on to the weapons section. He picked up his weapons of choice: a beam rifle, and a plasma rifle. He only picked up the plasma rifle because they just might get into battle in close range, and if that happened, the beam rifle would not be sufficient in handling the enemies in close quarters. Along with the rifles, he picked up a pair of plasma grenades as well. After finishing equipping himself with the necessary weaponry, he exited the armory and continued down the maze-like halls of a Covenant ship. "Vien: you have finally arrived." Ramo, the Sangheili in command of his squad said. "I have, after the necessary preparations, my Excellency." "Indeed Vien. Now I have to brief you on our orders a second time. We are to guard our ship with our lives. Reg, Vien, you two will be off the ship, near the gravlift. The rest will be with me. Good luck on this mission you two, but remember, if the Humans capture the gravlift, destroy it." Ramo stated. "As you wish." Vien replied, and went down the gravlift, along with Reg. The two landed on the volcanic planet, and set up their positions behind cover. The Jackal glanced at the Elite every now and then, eyeing his motions. "Is something wrong?" Vien asked. "No, it's just I'd rather not be partners with one of your kind." the Jackal replied, obviously racist towards the Sangheili. "Would you rather have been paired up one of the Unggoy?" Vien sarcastically asked. "Never mind then. Let's carry on with our mission." Reg obviously did not like the comment Vien had made. Vien then scanned the area through the scope of his rifle, looking for any hostile troops.

Sergeant Louis Bernard Zeta Squad Planet The squad arrived on the planet slowly, but with ease like always on every drop to a planet from a pelican. They formed up around the rest of the marines as ordered. The heat was unbareably it was so hot and uncomfrotable from everything. They checked their weapons, pulled the levers to load them, then completely joined with the rest of them. "Zeta Squad, here, sir," Bernard spoke.

On her lap lay a plasma rifle, one of the few weapons Ambr could choose from at the moment. She also had come in contact with a carbine. To her, this gun wasn't very useful except for zooming and scoping areas out when you were in short supply of weaponry. So placing it upon her back, the elite stood up and placed the assault armor and mask on and readied herself. Finally when everything was done and prepped. The ship landed sending massive vibrations through the ship, sending her bumbling squadron to there rears.
"Get up you oafs!" Clenching her plasma rifle in her one hand, she exited the covenant assault ship and landed on the nearest boulder- her grunts and jackal close behind. So barren... The air was scalding hot and it felt as if they were on fire. Sweat began to pour from her brow, so she swiped it away and breathed heavily. Kneeling down, she looked to the others. "Scout out the area, Otto you head North, Ana west and G.C East. I'll head south. Watch your backs and if you spot any hostiles immediately head back to the point in which we started and wait for me to return. Do not engage in any combat." ((Short. Yes I know. But please bare with me 8/))

Rocco Evans | Super Six Four | 1st company DZ |
When all of the troops in his Pelican disembarked Rocco heard the orders from Hallam that the Pelican would be staying at the DZ. Rocco mad the decision to power down his Pelican. When the engines grumbled to a halt Rocco stood from his seat in the cockpit and made his way out the cargo bay. “I don’t know how anyone could be one this planet longer then need be.” Rocco exclaimed stepping off of the ramp. Shelby and David only nodded their heads in agreement. “Okay, let’s head over and listen in on the briefing.” Rocco added leading the crew of Super-Six-Four to where the rest of the Assault force had gathered. Lieutenant Samuel “Murph” Murphy | Surface of Lethe | In a position over looking the Grav Lift below Pious Charity |
Murph heard the whooshing sound of one of the Covenant dropships flying over the crater. In his hide he could not move his head to look up for it, as it could give up his position. From his position he could judge that the dropship was heading out side of the crater. The Covenant forces were doing one of their irregular out runner patrol. On the opposite side of the crater as Murph South and Clay lay in a similar hide as their team leader. From their position they watched as a dropship passed over the rim of the crater and into the dust of the planet. With the assault force on the ground South and Clay knew that this might cause problem for the assault. Clay sent simple message to Murph announcing that a dropship had left he crater. Murph received a message from Clay announcing that a Covenant dropship had indeed passed over him. Given the urgency of this situation Murph not only sent a message about the dropship to the Recon 5-7 but also to Hallam personally. Looking up he noticed a five member squad of Covenant soldier drop down the grav lift. This Murph also sent to Hallam, at this point with Hallam and the ground forces planet side all intel would be directed to Hallam.
