(Open to join, if you happen to have a character that was alive and on Doisac before the war happened.)
Bloodstone Lands, late in the Human Year of 2524
The Main mustering grounds, Morning.
Eugenius Greenstone, aged 41 - Jiralhanae Warrior.
Scratching his chin with his right hand Eugine grunted as he looked over what amounted of the tribes storage. It had enough grains and greens to be sure. But needed some more meat. And his brothers new lad was getting big and strong. What better time for a hunt? And he had expressed as much yesterday to said brother and the current Chief and so was waiting in the mustering grounds for the others to arrive. It would be the first hunt for many of them and he could smell their fear as well as their excitement as they started to arrive. Eugine himself holding a long spear over his shoulder and resting his arms over it as he looked them over. Decent stock. And the eldest brothers and daughters looked very ready to go. He even saw some pups that the mothers were happily bringing along to see the hunting party off. Good on them.
Also good that they were bringing their own equipment. Better to train with what you knew that be handed something unknown. Looking up at the sun Eugine nodded again, adjusting his short beard as he waited for the last ones to arrive. He had to see this 'Garatus' who he had only seen from a distance a few years ago when he was back from a little deployment. If one could even call it that. Wrangling Unggoy and setting up farming equipment could hardly be considered work at all. Let alone a warrior of Bloodstone! Huffing in exasperation Eugine twirled his spear before returning it over his shoulder. The youths starting to chatter as their musk grew. The time drew near.
It would be a simple affair really to keep the youth a taste of the Hunt besides the tales they would hear from the clan mystics and their parents. They didn't need to remind themselves of the terrible Immolation rites of passage for the youths that would leave a majority slain. They were far past that time now. He hoped. Hed need to check the records himself though, Eugine mused, he had been told that when he had been a pup but now a days...he wondered if that had been exaggeration? Space deployments allowed much time to read and train anyway. It would be another constructive thing he could fill his time with. Just needed to get permission to get the records or a copy of them. Nodding to himself he made a mental note to undertake that after the hunt was complete. More so a jaunt through the more wild parts of the Bloodstone lands but still. Good experience and practice for those who were just starting out with the older youths and himself plus the Chief is he was not busy to make sure it all went smoothly.
