Sangheili Major Ronan 'Te Vadamee Tag: Mr. PrezidentRonan walked through the Phantom dropship, looking over each of his lance members. This was his first mission commanding a lance instead of a file, and he intended to prove he could handle it. The fleet had stumbled upon this human colony recently, and had made quick work of the scattered space defenses the humans had in place. The Fleet Master would have had the planet glassed, not even bothering to look at the surface, but the Luminary indicated an artifact was on the surface, and artifacts must be retrieved. They must not be left in the hands of the unholy abominations called humans, and they cannot be destroyed. “The humans are surrounding the artifact. They are in the way of our progress. They have taken up fighting positions in buildings and on roads around the artifact, waiting for our arrival. The Ultra has tasked our lance and Major Sausamai’s lance with clearing a path to the artifact from this direction. His lance will attack the enemy face-on, and we will swing around and crush them from the side and rear. Remember, our primary mission here is not to eradicate the humans. That is only a secondary goal. We are here to reclaim the Artifact, to further our path to the Great Journey!” “Approaching drop zone,” reported the dropship’s pilot. Ronan nodded, looking to his soldiers. The Phantom began to settle into its landing pattern, the gravity drop activating. “The Prophets are the voice of our Gods, and we are the fist of the Prophets. For the Covenant, we fight! With me, brothers!” Ronan jumped into the gravity well, his plasma rifle at the ready as his lance of warriors followed him. Ronan’s eyes darted around, taking in the landing site as he descended the gravity lift. It was a clearing in the human city, scattered with metal structures painted in primary colors. Most of the structures were smaller, like they had been built for human children. He could hear both plasma fire and human gunfire in the distance, and the distant scream of Banshee aircraft as they flew through the skies. Ronan opened a battlenet channel to his lance. “The humans have occupied a building to our north-east, in our direct path to the Artifact. We must destroy the human presence there. Follow me, Warriors.” Ronan looked over to Xintar, raising his rifle in a salute. “We will hit them from behind while you attack from the front. We will crush them between us, brother.”

Sangheili Major Xintar 'Sausamai Xintar sat in the back of the phantom in silence, meditating on his newfound position of authority with two files of kig-yar led by Xintars trusted minors. While it was a strange composition, the Major figured it was to play on both his strengths and weaknesses. Xintar was a blunt and forward fighter, and his unit was solid on the frontlines but also required him to learn more finesse than leading a full warrior lance. 'Sausam blood was strong, and Xintar would honor the clan and the Covenant with every drop of his. As a soldier through and through, Xintar promised himself he would double his martial and tactical training.
As they grew closer to the dropzone, Xintar roused himself. He briefly looked over his Lance. They looked eager for the fight. That combined with their experience solidified the 'Sausam's confidence. Xintar glanced briefly at Ronan as he briefed his legionnaires. Their methods varied greatly but they worked well in tandem together. He held a great respect for the 'Vadam Majors ability. He once again focused on his Lance, garnering their attention. Xintar was not a Sangheili of many words; his file commanders knew the plan and the kig-yar only needed to obey their orders.
"I want you all to hold formation when we drop. We keep a tight albeit safe spread when we attack. Follow orders without hesitation and fight ferociously. Do this, and we will gain honor this day," Xintar said firmly.
The Lance silently agreed, looking more eager than ever as they prepared to drop out of the grav lift. The lull of combat greeted the Imperials from nearby as Xintar's lance cleared the area. The 'Sausam took a deep breath in anticipation and locked his mind on the battle.
Xintar looked over at Ronan, nodding to the comment and replying, "As always, brother. May you find glory...we will see you when these humans are crushed between us."
Xintar gave the Sangheili equivalent of a smile as he triple checked his Plasma Rifle.

Sangheili Major Ronan 'Te VadameeTag: Mr. Prezident Ronan nodded as Xintar spoke. “Glory and honor!” he said zealously. He looked to his lance, waving for them to follow as Ronan set off, trotting down the street. His plan was for Xintar’s lance to being assaulting the building, engaging it’s human defenders in a firefight and distracting them. Ronan’s lance would then sweep into the building from the rear, crushing the human opposition in the building. If everything went according to plan, it would be a bloodbath. Ronan opened a channel to Xintar. “Notify me once your lance begins the assault, comrade. We will then attack.”Ronan led his lance through alleyways and streets, maneuvering to get his lance behind the humans. The city was packed, but mostly deserted. Civilians were nowhere to be found, and occasionally in the distance Ronan heard a human shout or scream. He turned a corner, surprised as he was suddenly face-to-face with a small group of humans. They were human soldiers, but it was only four or five of them. Ronan roared, raising his plasma rifle and firing at the human closest to him. “Eliminate them, brothers!” Khurn stepped up beside Ronan, firing as well. The two Sangheili easily eliminated the four humans, the plasma bursts melting through the human’s armor with ease. Ronan grinned, stepping over the bodies as he advanced through the city. “We are not here to destroy the humans, but do not show them any quarter. Don’t go out of your way, but if possible, eliminate the heretics.” Ronan continued through the alleyway, looking up at the brick buildings next to him. “Through here,” he said, gesturing at a door. One of the Minors kicked the door in, and Duran led his file into the building. “Get into position at the front of the building,” Ronan ordered. “We will wait here for the signal from Xintar.” Ronan switched over to his battlenet channel. “We are in position. Ready when you are.”

Major Xintar
"Affirmative, brother," the Major responded to his peer, Ronan, over the battlenet.
Xintar's Lance advanced quickly, and he was ever more glad the kig-yar didnt complain like that of the Unngoy. While distant gunfire had filled their ears, the high pitched squeal of Covenants weapons sounded far too near. Xintar knew it was Ronans lance, and he hoped their manuever hadnt completely been compromised.
The 'Sausam ordered his lance to quicken the pace, and they obliged. They started to near their objective and Xintar sensed something was off. They had started to enter a group of tightly knit living quarters. Xintar kept searching for enemies, to no avail. As they started to cross another street, a kig yar was struck in the leg by a powerful round.
"Phalanx! First file against the wall, second file support!" Xintar ordered as he knew the battle was about to amplify.
"We are engaged! Attack with zeal kinsman!" Xintar addressed Ronan over the battlenet.
The Major gritted his mandibles, ready for the fight as he worked himself into a combat frenzy

Sangheili Major Ronan Te VadameeTag: Mr. PrezidentRonan crouched down in the building, looking out the windows to the building directly across the street. It was the one occupied by the humans, that the lances would be assaulting shortly. It was a simple building, concrete block construction with few windows. Two stories, and the humans had fortified the second with sandbags and taken up firing positions inside, covering the large street on the other side of the building. His two files were settled in with him, the eight Sangheili Warriors ready to fight. Xintar’s transmission burst across the net, and Ronan turned to his two file leaders. “Ready, comrades. We must cleanse the building, for it is infected with the unholy humans. For the Covenant!” Ronan burst through the window, sprinting across the street as his lance followed. “Door!” Ronan ordered, and one of the Minors tucked his shoulder in, crashing through the wooden door with ease. Ronan stepped into the building, the other Warriors streaming in. “Khurn, take your file to the second floor. Duran, clear this one. Get the fire off of our brothers in the street so they can join us.” The Minors nodded obediently, splitting off with their files. Ronan followed Khurn, heading upstairs. The Sangheili made it to the top of the stairs unopposed, but as Khurn tried to edge off of the stairwell landing and into a hallway, a burst of human gunfire rang out, peppering his shields. He ducked back, and Ronan nodded. “They are prepared for us, but no matter. We are the hand of the Prophets, and they are but mere heretics. We will crush them.” Khurn took a plasma grenade from his harness, arming it and tossing it into the hallway. Once it exploded, the file burst out into the hallway, opening fire with their plasma rifles. Ronan charged with them, roaring out. Today was a good day to fight.

Sangheili Major Xintar 'Sausamai Tag: AlphaWolfXintars Lance started engaging the entrenched position heavily, despite taking a lot of fire. The Lance was in a tight spot. He had to act quickly to hold the line. Despite Xintars anticipation he was confident Ronan would break the enemy soon enough. "Second file, prepare to cross the street alongside us as first file covers!" the Major barked. The Lance did as ordered. The three Sangheili and first file swelled the entrenched position with plasma fire. As soon as Xintar felt the humans were sufficiently suppressed, he called for second file to move. Return fire was inevitable. Despite this, the kigyar made it across mostly unscathed as the file commander followed. Just as it seemed they were clear a kigyar took two rounds to the abdomen. The kigyar staggered but kept fighting unabated. Xintar rubbed his mandibles together in irritation. Not that many rooks had passed since they were deployed and already two kigyar had spilt blood. The 'Sausam wanted to keep his honor intact, and to do that he needed his unit at combat strength. Machine gun fire melted off his shields as he traded blows, killing the human outright. "Focus! Shields up, pick your prey, and execute. Prove your loyalty to the Covenant!" the 'Sausam ordered Zealously.

Sangheili Major Ronan Te Vadamee Tag: Mr. PrezidentRonan charged into the hallway following the explosion of the plasma grenade, firing zealously. The few humans in the room were nearly instantly silenced by the file's overwhelming plasma fire, and Ronan roared victoriously. "Khurn, take your file to the left. I will go right." Ronan split from his subordinate's file, stepping through an open door with his rifle at the ready. Already, the volume of fire from the building was falling off substantially as humans died before the Covenant warriors. He could hear the whine of plasma weapons as Duran and his file cleared the first floor, as well as the staccato sound of human weapons firing, both out into the street and into the building. Ronan paused outside a closed door, listening for sounds of activity. His patience was rewarded as he heard a human voice. His mandibles splitting in an alien smirk, Ronan kicked in the door, striding into the room. It was occupied by only two humans, one of which had already been injured by a plasma weapon. Ronan fired his plasma rifle as he strode in, catching the uninjured human by surprise. A burst of plasma melted across the human's face, the smell of burnt flesh filling the room. The wounded human looked up at Ronan fearfully. "Heretic," Ronan spat, drawing his blade and stabbing the human. He wasn't worth the charge on the plasma rifle. His battlenet crackled as Duran reported in. "Major, the ground floor has been secured."
"Excellent work." Ronan replied before opening a channel to Xintar. "The ground floor is secure. Move in."

Sangheili Major Xintar 'Sausamai Tag: AlphaWolfResistance from the Nishum dropped quickly. Just when Xintar thought they might suffer casualties Ronan pulled through as the 'Sausam soldier ordered his men to move up, preparing to respond. A sniper round interrupted Xintar. The warrior cursed as the round pierced a kig-yars chest. Before Xintar could think more humans descended on their flank. "The Humans aren't finished yet, brother! We must keep our wits about us," Xintar replied briefly. Xintar ordered his Lance to reform near the building Ronan had captured. They would hold defensively and recuperate for a moment. Pondering where support from the Creche was, the 'Sausam fired on the humans to slow their assault. Xintar realized they could not stay idle for long or they would be overrun and the Covenant effort would be in vain. The Sangheili decided that maybe they could keep outmaneuvering the humans. Xintar raised Ronan on the battlenet once more, "If you think you can keep driving into the Heretics flanks than do so. I fear our progress will be for not if we dont act quickly." Despite human frailty and lack of honor, Xintar couldnt help but to respect their tenacity and sheer battle prowess. They garnered more of the Sangheili's respect than all but the Mga'lekgolo and the Sangheili themselves. It felt good to face such worthy adversaries on the battlefield. Xintar kept fighting as more human gunfire slowly pushed the Lance back

Sangheili Major Ronan Te Vadamee Tag: Mr. PrezidentRonan's mandibles split in a grimace as he heard the crack of a human sniper rifle, followed closely by Xintar's transmission. He opened a channel to his lance, ordering them to meet him in the room they had entered through as he strode through the halls of the human building. Meeting his troops, Ronan looked to his two file leaders. "The humans have begun to push back against us in force. We are going to flank the human soldiers and lay down an enfilade so that Xintar's lance may push up, and then we will crush the human resistance. With me." Ronan once again took point, leading his lance out of the building and down the street. He could hear the chatter of the humans' ballistic weapons, steadily firing on his fellow Covenant troops. The humans were advancing down the next street over, and Ronan planned to come at them from the side, by gaining access to a building and then enfilading the humans. If it went as planned, the humans would stand no chance. The Vadam soldier led his lance into an unoccupied human building, now allowing one of the Minors to take the lead as the lance headed for the second floor. "Alright comrades, spread out throughout the windows on the second floor. Wait for my signal to fire. We will crush them." Ronan took up a firing position in a window, his plasma rifle aimed outside and towards the human positions in the street below. He had excellent views of the humans' flank and rear as they slowly pushed down the street towards Xintar's lance. "Open fire! Destroy them!" Ronan ordered, roaring as he began to fire on the humans.
