Nek Dal - T'vaoan Independent Captain
New(er(?)) Delhi outskirts
Mmm...ring ring?
Nek really needed to stop pacing back and fourth. He knew it made his few crewmen down here anxious and it made the Humans on the other side weirded and creeped out when he turned his head around before his body followed. But he didn't drink to get over stress and tried not to have another vice to calm himself so this was all he had. It wasn't like he was going to go sharpen a knife or somthing like some of the Humans were doing. He really doubted they knew how grating that sounded to him and the other Kigs. Metal sliding back and fourth over stone was just...yugh. Finally the T'vaoan sat himself back down on the cheap chair that the Humans had set up for him and his guards as he looked down at the tac-pad again.
It was ten mintues late now. And he thought the Unggoy were bad about being punctual. Nek taking a breath as he rested a hand on his beak near his eyes as he tried to calm his nerves down. Though to the Humans it probably looked more like he was angry judging by how they tensed up.
This was supposed to just be a simple under the table meet up on this mostly unknown planet. Nek hoping that he could get a lucrative deal worked out here without Suf catching wind of it. Just do a few quick deliveries of the vehical parts these people wanted - get a handy pay off and some contacts for Human news and the like. It wasn't like they wanted bombs or anything mostly it seemed to be pretty harmless stuff. Honestly from the age of some of these Humans it was almost as if they wanted to try and merge Human and Covenant vehicle equipment together. For what Nek had no idea really but they had managed to get his business contact so here he was to see the deal and the location for himself. It wouldn't be a place where his ship would land but he could easily get two Pelicans down here without raising too much of an eyebrow. But it was just one of them currently as his ship was holding stealthy in orbit.
So far though these young adult Humans wern't making a great impression. They had seemed super impressed that he was actually a Kig-Yar - T'vaoan as Nek was quick to remind them - and that he spoke Human. Apparently there was a Human trend these days to say you were an alien to get attention? So odd...But they seemed mostly harmless. Pretty damn wealthy but harmless. They had a few Human drugs around this place but it wasn't like a dangerous level. Still one of the weirdest deals hes had though. A bunch of barely above Fluffs wanting small time tech and alien 'trinkets' for selling. Nek would have thought that stuff like that showing up on the market would only draw attention but that would probably be under the table too to a collector or something. Eh - wasn't his job to care where the goods went after a delivery just to deliver them and be paid for it. He was glad at least it wasn't weapons for once. Those were so unnecessarily annoying to package, transport, and sell.
Looking down at his tacpad as it was now thirteen minutes he tapped out a message before hitting send - to the device of the person that had contacted him first to set up this initial meeting. 'I'm here waiting, its not proper business to leave people waiting'. And with that done he took a drink from her thermos as he continued to wait. His armed and armored guards keeping an eye on the Humans but it looked like only one or two of them had visible pistols - small time wealthy possible foolish fluffs.
Why Newer Delhi though? Was there a Delhi first and then a new one before that? Probably a Home planet thing.
