As much as it pains me, I don't think I am able to lead my Covenant fellows like I used and love to. The muses are just dancing over my head this year, even when graced with the helper title of Guru. Of course, I can just be PM'ed on questions and whatnot. However, what I find I am needing right now is trustworthy leaders of the legion.
A Sangheili Zealot and/or Generals in the Covenant Army that is often active here, so at least we don't have to waiting on derp-Huka anymore.
Who can take this challenge?!
Don't worry, I am not leaving. Just...MIA basically. Til will be around as a mission NPC monitoring things, but won't be physically present for mission for a while. The roster will still be made later today or later in my spring break.
P.S. Watch this, the muse will come back randomly.

*Presents their T6 Sangheili* Is this enough? Am I active enough? I'm not quite 100% sure what you are suggesting. IC Command of the Covenant? OOC Command? Or just be the Guru?

Yes, GROUND SANGHEILI are in an amazingly short supply. Commanding officers to troops.

*Waves a lil change Flag* Maybe its time for a new species of leader? ;D Could always NPC it if needed. But if needed I'm sure some of us would be fine making a high ranking Jelly character for leadership duties. I think BetaWülf was working on a General awhile ago.

I've certainly thought about it, both accounts. *puts his carbine aside on reaction* Of course, I have the general NPCs for the sects, including our main. You know my motto in having characters growing and taking their shine. Despite the fact we are few, I don't quite like to overshadow people too much, you know. It is probably just my heavy self-criticism though.
Certainly have Beta on the possible General list!

Why don't we have a council of leaders? I think we have that right now and Huka would be at the head. Maybe switch off who 'leads' each time since our PC Sect is all about the different species working together I think that may work. Or just have Garartus lead since he would be the most highly ranked of the Covenant besides a NPC jelly or Jelly general. Hopefully Kael would be a good commander with Roh by her side. And unlike hoomans I dont think we bicker since it's pretty simple plans. Murder all the hoomans ;D

Although I would have say that its not that the different members of this council wouldn't have disagreements. They most certainly would, given divisions between the social and political differences between Covenant species. But the idea of having such a collection of what I would imagine being either great tacticians or some highly skilled commanders of the times would be gathered to serve no a War Council. (Notice I didn't make a point in that sentence...) Anyway, I imagine it being organized by perhaps a Prophet or even a figure like the Supreme Commander picking members from across two and even maybe three different species.

Well, Ship Masters and Feild Masters are the same ranks, as well as Fleet Master and Field Marshals. At least that's how it would make sense. WIki's say Field Marshals are above Fleet Masters but that doesn't quite make sense. So we get people to fill those ranks in on an OOC level. That's the council right there

I'm fairly sure Huka commands both the Ground and Space. At least, that's what I've been told Edto They mean a war council of PC characters for the ground forces, Last I checked Fleet and Ship Masters don't command the ground forces (This is based off what I know of the covvie military) So this council wouldn't be filled with ship and fleet masters, more like generals, chieftians, etc

Well, Ship Masters and Feild Masters are the same ranks, as well as Fleet Master and Field Marshals. At least that's how it would make sense. WIki's say Field Marshals are above Fleet Masters but that doesn't quite make sense. They are different ranks, they are just the equivalent of one another. A Fleet Master is the Navy equivalent of the Army's Field Marshal, but a Field Marshal does not command a Fleet, and a Fleet Master does not command a Sect. Same with the Ship and Field Masters. They are just tied together by mutual need. The Covenant Army needs their Navy to transport them across the stars, while the Covenant Navy needs their Army to deal with terrestrial engagements. I'm fairly sure Huka commands both the Ground and Space. At least, that's what I've been told Edto They mean a war council of PC characters for the ground forces, Last I checked Fleet and Ship Masters don't command the ground forces (This is based off what I know of the covvie military) So this council wouldn't be filled with ship and fleet masters, more like generals, chieftians, etc He usually NPCs the Fleet Master since we don't have a PC Fleet Master as of yet, so he is technically unofficially commanding space. So in theory if a PC Fleet Master came into being, they would then in theory supersede and replace the NPC Huka controls. He officially commands the ground forces since he has PC Field Marshal that he owns.

Yup, which is why since Huka is taking a back seat we would either keep having NPC's and then the force leaders (Chief, Champion, Zealot) talk with them or talk about their orders before passing on the commands to their forces.
Or like has been suggested we instead replace the NPC's with the troop leaders and have them be the war council of our multi-race led sect. Which I think would make the most sense since I think our legion is known for that.
