Caring: Baker always cares for those who are under his command, giving him a fatherly feel around his men. He also feels compassion towards those in plight:

Marksman ship: Baker is very accurate with his weapons. He can fire controlled bursts from his MA5C on targets up to 500 meters and can fire full auto on targets up to 300 meters.
Fast-thinker: Baker can literally think on his feet: meaning that he can respond to situations in a blink of an eye. Combined with his interest in military strategy and tactics, he always comes on top during war game exercises.
Weaknesses:
Ethical: Baker's ethics includes: no firing on unarmed enemy combatants. This already cost him the lives of 3 of his men when he couldn't bear himself to shoot a detonator carrying insurrectionist (the bastard wasn't carrying any weapons so he was to be considered "unarmed")
Hot-tempered: When things don't go his way, Baker can get mighty angry. This occurs whenever he sees something that doesn't make sense, or anything that goes against his ethics.
