(So, since I've been playing a looooooooot of Fallout 4...this happens. Obviously, this is based on the Brotherhood of Steel questline's ending. If you are currently playing the game and haven't finished it yet, or haven't played it at all yet, PLEASE NOTE, it will contain spoilers of certain plot points that has happened within the game. Read at your own risk. If you don't care about spoilers, then continue onward. Also, thanks Huka for giving me some of the idea for it!)
Fallout: Of Wolf and Steel
Plot: Several months after destroying the Institute, the Brotherhood of Steel continues their tour in the Commonwealth to help cleanse the population of feral ghouls and the super mutant threat. Soon enough, the Prydwen is attacked in an act of war by an unknown group. So few escaped with their lives, including Elder Maxson; although, he was seriously injured from the explosion. He and a small number of surviving Brotherhood members, including the Sole Survivor, Sentinel Sage, and Paladin Danse, who saved Maxson after the attack, retreat and regroup somewhere safe. They eventually learn that a former Sentinel from the West Coast Brotherhood of Steel has gone insane and embraced the defeated Caesar Legion's ideology. Lumbering about in power armor adorn with the Roman decor and a helmet shaped into a crested wolf, this former member has gathered remnants of the Legion and marched east-ward across the country to conquer, enslave, and have grown into a large, formidable force who is highly trained, armed and armored like the Brotherhood of Steel. Maxson and the others must act fast to repel the invading force of this new aggressive and violent faction of the Legion in order to protect the Commonwealth and the rest of the east coast before the Legion can defeat them with the very technology the Brotherhood are sworn to protect from those who would abuse it. This time, they will need all the help they can get from the people of the Commonwealth in order to defeat this new and powerful enemy.
The tall, formidable-looking man in custom-made Power Armor that was the color of sanguine with Roman decorations stared into a pair of binoculars. He was looking into the distance, where the airship, The Prydwen, was located above the airport ruins. This day, will be a day of glory as he will soon bask in the blood of his enemy, as he knew, the Brotherhood of Steel will never bow down to him. Killing them will bring a smile to his face. He slowly grinned a little at the thought, raising a hand to signal the large force of his soldiers who were also in matching power armor with Roman decorations to fire their Fat Man's up toward the target.
One moment changes everything.
Elder Arthur Maxson was standing in the Power Armor Station area of the Main Deck in his Power Armor, while letting Proctor Ingram look it over for maintenance, while he was talking to the Squires who always were so eager to learn, especially when he decided to take a moment to be the one teaching them. If today was any other day, then it would've ended up being a good one he would enjoy remembering – a rarity for him.
He always had a hidden fear, a worry, that someone would attack the Prydwen. Throughout the campaign against the Institute, he had this worry that they would try to attack the airship, to weaken their forces considerably. That worry even extended to the Railroad, who could have done something too, as they were quite resourceful in their tactics. With both factions destroyed quickly, with the help of Sentinel Sage, the worry lessened, but he was still concerned. He never put his guard down since leaving Adams Air Force Base in Washington, DC. They took precautions, and had vigilant eyes and ears on and off the ground.
All the precautions didn't seem to matter.
Sounds of repeated explosions could suddenly be heard and felt throughout the airship - everyone was taken by surprise. They were being fired upon, and attacked by an overwhelming force. So many questions filled his mind as he tried to evacuate as many as he could off of the Prydwen before whatever it was could rip through the airship's hull and blow them out of the sky. They didn't have long, as it was only a matter of time.
