Tags: Frazer, Llau, BetaWülfJuly 11th, 2548 (Human Calendar) BB Info; LinkNek Dal, T'vaoan cargo Captain Aboard the BB IV, Upper boarding level. Enjoying some rest and food.Thanking the cashier after he was handed back his PP, some Gekz taken off for Neks payment, the T'vaoan turned his attention back to the buffet line as he clapped a bit. Aecor this was going to be a fine meal for once. Quickly moving aside so the other Captains could pay for their chance at the make your own dinner. It wasn't necessarily all you could eat but the amount here and the price of the meal showed that you were welcome to try. Just don't be too greedy. So Nek quickly pattered over to it and picked up a plate before he stopped and stared at the first station of food. He hadn't ever seen anything like that before. It looked like about the size plate but it was floppy...Tapping one of the Ibie'Shan staff on the shoulder he inquired about the item and was told that it was Human. Something called a wrap that you would put your food in and then wrap around it. Interesting...Thanking the Ibie'Shan Nek shrugged and put it on his plate as he then moved down the line. He could always open it if he didn't like it and eat his food normally. The T'vaoan merchant grabbing a few dried insects, Oui slices, and fruit as his first stop before picking up a packaged bottle of iced tea and then heading to find himself a seat. Nek's ship was currently 'parked' as it were in range of the BB as the two Pelicans were probably just finishing their drop offs of personnel and cargo and so the crew would be returning to the Speed Streak to rest or spending their time on the BB depending on if it was their turn to go ashore. The selling of his cargo would hopefully go smoothly and Nek would go down to help with after he was done with his meal. Some cargo still on the streak though as a few Captains had wanted to just go right to his ship to look over it. But Nek wasn't worried, all the Kig-Yar here were friends and colleges and so would treat each others ship and crew with respect even if the Captain was there. Kex was probably on the Station somewhere...hopefully not getting arrested again - and maybe with Tel. Either she would keep him out of trouble or even into even more trouble together. At least they were having fun and he hadn't gotten a message from Gial or any Vep officer yet for him to report to the brig yet so so far so good. Sitting down at a table where two females were talking about something on their pads across from Nek he just nodded and then focused on his food so they wouldn't think he was eavesdropping. It just sounds like ship and cargo related things anyway as Nek hummed a bit and tried to nudge his food with his claws into a line so it would be easier to wrap up and then did his best to wrap the wrap around it. It sure compared it and Nek even went through the precaution of folding the edges over so the contents wouldn't fall out when he picked it up. Nodding to himself he scooped it up and took a bite of it with his beak. It was kind of plain, but the food inside it made up for it and it was nice to get a beakfull of all the things he had selected without having to shove it all in. Good job Humans. Nodding at the wrap he set it down and pulled out his PP and set it on the table as he checked both again for messages. Still nothing. He was kind of sad that Mike still had not responded to his queries and messages after the Gaz trade mission ahd finished. No messages from Gaz either about more opportunities, hopefully his Mistress hadn't grounded him for this long...and still nothing from Zahl or his children. Rubbing his face a bit he set the PP beside his and rolled up his sleeves a bit as he went back to eating. At least there was nothing from Suf either, so he wasn't being targeted or told off for any of his recent missions. So there was one good thing about having no messages...He would send a message to his ship to see if they had gotten any after his wrap. Nodding to himself he picked up the wrap again and took another bite, glancing over as some shouting started between two Ruuthian females. They even looked like they were about to reach for their boarding pistols. But at a hiss from the Security member walking past them made them sit back down and continue the talk without resorting to pulling out weapons. Smart - and now back to wrap.

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo Moretti ONI Tactical Field Operator July 11, 2548 Aboard UNSCS Tassafaronga, Private Officers Quarters Tag(s): Faclan, BetaWülf, FrazerLieutenant Commander Moretti was acting as an attachment, commanding the other ONI personnel who were on board the UNSCS Tassafaronga before it leaves for the Neutral Systems. It wasn't unusual for ONI to have any of their field agents on board a UNSC Navy ship, and not just on a Prowler, so no one questioned it. It was a perfect cover for him, as he was there under completely different orders, all of which, he didn't know about it as of yet as he waited for a message concerning his real orders; other than commanding the other field operators. He sat at a desk in his private quarters on the Officers Level of the ship, with a DATA-PAD in front of him and a cup of freshly made hot tea steaming a little off to the side of the desk. He heard a small beep, and shifted in his seat to slide the pad closer to him. He focused his attention down on the DATA-PAD, staring intently at the screen, while he read his recent message from his handler, Major Wagner. He sat there, frowning in concentration, as he read the message, and then read through his objectives Wagner wanted him to do. He sipped at his hot tea, and then responded to the message with a simple, <<'Orders received and understood, Major.'>>Turning off the DATA-PAD, he leaned back as he reached over to the left side of the desk to strap on his TAC-PAD to his left forearm. He turned it on, waited for the screen to load, and then entered his password, and waited for it to finish loading completely once his password was granted. He started typing in his list of objectives, that he will be checking off as he went along once the UNSC Navy located the BB IV's location. He knew how ONI was able to obtain the information on the Kig Yar's bazaar, but the alien who was forced to give it up, didn't last long to completely answer the interrogator's question regarding it's exact location in the Neutral Systems. He knew of this, not because of a report he read, but he was there with the frightened Kig-Yar. He was the one who interrogated it last week. After he managed to get what he wanted from it? He put it out of its misery. Once he was situated in, the ship's AI, Liara appeared. “Lieutenant Commander Moretti?” she began with a salute. He looked over, waiting for her to continue. She continued, “Rear Admiral York is free to see you now.” “Okay, good,” Moretti said, “Tell him I'll be on the bridge as soon as I can.” “Well do,” Her figure disappeared, leaving him alone in his quarters again. Moretti finished his hot tea, before grabbing his sidearm, and holstering it in his thigh holster as he stood out of the chair, and then left his room. UNSCS Tassafaronga, BridgeIt wasn't long until he made it to the ship's bridge, where he saw York with his back turned to him. He approached the older man, and stood in attention. “Rear Admiral York?” Moretti introduced himself, “I'm Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo Moretti. Office of Naval Intelligence, Section Three. Here to assist and command the other ONI personnel on board your ship.”

Kex Kel - Ibie'Shan Security Master Location - The BB IV Takin' a stroll
Kex breathed in the clean, wholesome, familiar, synthesized air of the BB IV. After being out on runs for awhile... the Speed Streak started to stink a small bit, not to the extent of a piss poor pirate ship, but still not very good. Unfortunately, one forgets the smell of fresh air when cooped up too long with stink; Kex was hoping to hire some deck scrubbers while they were here.
However, such things were far from his mind at the moment. For now, he was going to enjoy his off time. It'd been too long since he had gone on leave, but with good reason. He had a terrible tendency for getting arrested. Last time he got into trouble, his name and picture were abuzz as notifications to most local Captains, Kex however had drank too much to remember the incident that had spawned his bounty.
Luckily, he had hidden himself long enough for it to dissipate, or paid his dues... he couldn't remember; he'd drank too much and blacked out. All he remembered was the next morning, waking up a guest in the home of the formerly aggrieved party. Turned out to be something about a Huragok, grenade, and a food nipple. Whatever, it wasn't important, he was meeting his beloved Tel for communal food consumption!
It was going to be a nice, fun, carefree visit to the BB IV.
Kex stopped at a vendor's stall, looking over the shiny trinkets. One of them was perfect for Tel... he just had to figure out which one it really was. A small media playing device encrusted in jewels, a back-hooked knife with a coral handle, a gilded fish skull on a chain, and a small box. Kex stared at the little box for a long while... it vexed him for some reason. Should he open it, and spoil the surprise? Or buy it blind and give it to Tel on a hunch?
Kex picked it up, holding it in one hand, raised to his eye as he head was cocked to the side; one eye examining it. Kex was a ferocious Kig-Yar, he was raised in the coldest, harshest, rarest, and cruelest environment Eayn had to offer. He had been shipped off to an asteroid colony to work, everyday in the mines was another day he might die. He had become a Pirate, fought boarders, been a boarder, flew fighter crafts, been horrifically wounded and left for dead. Yet, this simple little box, felt in this moment like the greatest quandary of his life....
Kex looked to the Vendor, nodded to her, and placed the asking price for the box on the counter in Gekz, then wordlessly walked off. Holding the box in both hands Kex looked at it, wondering what it might contain? It felt fated to him, though he was often accused of being too superstition. And maybe he was? But he was fine with it either way.
Now to meet with Tel for food!

Rear Admiral (Lower half) Frazer YorkCommanding Officer of the UNSCS Tassafaronga and the 22nd Battlegroup Trafalgar Class Fleet Carrier 22nd Battlegroup Back into the saddle...Tag(s): LlauJuly 11, 2548, 10:00The UNSCS Tassafaronga and the entire battlegroup reached the final coordinates set by Naval Command and as the ship came to a halting stop Frazer breathed in a sigh of fresh air. No action as of yet. Which was good. He had seen too much fighting over the past year, afraid that his luck will again run out for his crew and him. As the ship echoed with noises around the engines slowly going down Wilson, the Tassafaronga's head Communications Officer swung round on his chair to face Frazer after pointing some of the ensigns to a few controls to press on their stations. "Admiral the rest of the battlegroup are requesting updated orders." Frazer nodded as Liara came up on the A.I pedestal ready for action as always. Frazer got up out of his captains chair and moved over to the holo table as he stood overlooking the maps of the region and other planets. He then looked back up at his Communications Officer to speak. "Wilson, have the battlegroup move into a diamond formation around us, with us in the centre please. Liara please get our longsword pilots ready for action at a moments notice. I dont wish to be caught with our pants down. Trayner keep the ship at a steady pace, only quarter engine thrust. 30 degrees angle. Tony both of you and our weapons officer need to be ready for any firing action on any undisclosed ships. We are in the open here folks we need to make sure we are ready for anything. Lets keep our current heading as Naval Command stated and see what happens here." Each crew member nodded and proceeded on with their tasks. "UNSCS Preston, Apollo, Lincoln....." The voice of Wilson drowned out of Frazers head as he pulled up his Tac Pad to read an additional order from Naval Command. "Rear Admiral Wilson. You have aboard attached to your ship and battlegroup and ONI specialised field agent here to command and operate all ONI personal onboard. He will report to you and proceed to tel......" The message went on and on about the reasons behind this and the secrecy behind his mission. Frazer picked up his mug and drank his newly made tea. "Damn this is good. Nothing can beat British classic tea." He said quietly to himself. He didnt want the ensign to think he was getting too good at British Tea and think he was suddenly the bomb. No no that wouldnt be on. Frazer focusing back on the Tac Pad thought more about this ONI agent and his reason to be aboard this ship and mission. He didnt mind ONI, he actually liked the cloak and dagger action they had. It made sense to him. He thought it was time to meet this agent. No sooner did he think this Liara came up on the pedestal again. "Battlegroup in formation, heading slowly forward. Weapon systems at the ready and all the battlegroups Longswords are ready for deployment. Looks like we are ready for anything as you said sir." Liara said smiling at Frazer. "Aye we are. Hey send up the ONI field agent, bout time we meet him I think." "Yes sir I will send him right up to us. Hes living luxury in his own quarters on our ship. Lucky guy." Liara said in a cocky manner as she disappeared off the pedestal. Frazer knew it would take at least ten minutes to get to the bridge due to the size of the ship. He didnt mind. More time for drinking tea and watching space and time fly by. Which he found very peaceful. July 11, 2548, 10:15
The bridge doors opened. As the field agent came aboard the bridge the guardsmen guarding the bridge saluted him. After all he was an officer. He approached the older man, and stood in attention. “Rear Admiral York?” Moretti introduced himself, “I'm Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo Moretti. Office of Naval Intelligence, Section Three. Here to assist and command the other ONI personnel on board your ship." Frazer turned to face Mike with a smile and a handshake. He liked to shake the hand of every new officer he met. Being British and all that. Frazer nodded and proceeded to speak. "Lieutenant Commander nice to meet you. I hope our accommodations meets your expectations. As you can tell with this ship being as big as it is it takes a fair amount of time to travel from one side to another but thats what keeps us naval personal fit." Frazer chuckled . "I read the report from Naval Command that told me about you coming aboard. I got the message very late and have only just had chance to skim read it now." Frazer moved Mike to a side by the holo table. "Now is there anything I should know about your mission? Do you require anything else to assist your operation onboard our ship? If so I am sure we can make any arrangements." Frazer tried to be as helpful as possible. After all we were all on the same side. Frazer waited for the reply...

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo Moretti ONI Tactical Field Operator July 11, 2548 Aboard UNSCS Tassafaronga, Bridge Cloak and Daggers... Tag(s): FrazerLieutenant Commander Moretti nodded and smiled back a little, shaking Frazer's hand firmly. He listened to what the Rear Admiral had to say. "Lieutenant Commander nice to meet you. I hope our accommodations meets your expectations. As you can tell with this ship being as big as it is it takes a fair amount of time to travel from one side to another but that's what keeps us naval personal fit."“ Nice to meet you, too, sir,” he replied, “ The accommodations are nice. No complaints here.” He chuckled lightly, " Of course. Your ship's quite impressive.” "I read the report from Naval Command that told me about you coming aboard. I got the message very late and have only just had chance to skim read it now." As Moretti was led to the holo-table, he looked on as Frazer continued speaking, "Now is there anything I should know about your mission? Do you require anything else to assist your operation on-board our ship? If so I am sure we can make any arrangements."Moretti nodded, bringing up a map of the Neutral Systems on the holo-table. “ ONI has been tracking information on a group of Insurrectionists who have stolen bio-chemical, military-grade weapons, and believe they are hiding out somewhere along the Neutral Systems. What better place to hide, than in there, sir.” He then brought up a galaxy that was located within the Neutral Systems, where ONI suspected the BB IV was located, but was where he will continue the lie. He was a very good liar when he needed to be, and could bullshit his way through anything. So, him lying to the Rear Admiral was a breeze; Yet, the reality of it was, what he was saying wasn't a complete lie, as it was more of a half truth. There has been rumors going around about stolen bio-chemical military-grade weapons that the Insurrectionists have, but they are nothing more than rumors...for now. He continued on, “ We believe they are hiding out within this location. Either in a large space station, or they have a base somewhere on one or more of these planets, as they are a fairly large group.” He zoomed in on the galaxy, showing the seven planets and two asteroid belts. “ That's all the information we have available, sir.” He looked up at him. “ We'll learn more as soon as we arrive in this location.” While adding, “ As for my mission. I'll have my team infiltrate on the bases to find out of they still have the weapons with them, and then my orders are to capture four HVT's, and bring them back to the ship for interrogation...in case they've been selling these weapons to groups, like the Kig-Yar Pirates, or other terrorists.” He paused, bringing up another screen to show him dossiers on the four insurrectionists – one being the leader, and the co-leader, while the other two were the top Lieutenants within the organization. “ As they are suspected to be a very large terrorist group, some help might be needed, especially if they have more than one base on more than one planet, since it's just me and six other field agents on board, while you have ground personnel who can assist my team if needed.” “ Once we gather information regarding the stolen weapons, and capture the three HVTs, I'd like it if you can order one of your ships to destroy the bases.” He stood there quietly now, waiting for the man's response.

Nek Dal, T'vaoan cargo Captain Aboard the BB IV, Upper boarding level. Watching some auctioning.
With the wrap finally done Nek slipped his PP back into his pants pocket before tossing the disposable plate in the garbage and stacking his tray on top - using his free hand to hold his bottle of iced tea as he started to head out of the small buffet place and toward the stairs going down. Down toward the main trading floor to check on his little registered space to see how the items he brought were being sold. He didn't need to be there, as he had three Kigs on his payroll just for their trading visits - but always good to show up in case people had questions. He would have to check in with his ship soon as well to see if any of the Captains had shown up to examine some of the cargo still on his ship.
But he was soon distracted by all of this by some shouting from one of the larger sitting areas just off the stairs. Nek quickly moving out of the line of travel as he drank his tea and watched as a small Ruuthian male jumped up on a box and started to speak. Normally something like this would be quickly stopped, but he wore a Nest Vep crest on his shoulder and had two security guards beside him so this wasn't just some fool who was drunk.
"Attention all you wonderful Captains and their seconds and friends!" Much of the talking quieted down as the Ruuthian picked up a box that had been next to his feet and held it up. "As those of you who have been here since this morning know we have a little drawing now for the special meal of the day, a whole Sangheili heart!" Some murmurs and quiet clapping from the crowd as they were clearly interested in hearing the results of this now. Nek frowning a bit, not because that was barbaric or anything like that, but because he hadn't got up to this level in time to buy a ticket for the drawing - Damn. Some others around him grumbled in a similar fashion as one called out if it was too late to enter, and it was. A few groans of disappointment through the crowd as the small Ruuthian just smiled and waved his free arm for silence. "Now now, there will be more drawings throughout this meet, keep an eye on your PP's for information or on the big scrolling message boards. But onto the drawing at hand!" The male slipped the lid back on the box and then gave it a good many shaky shakes before tossing it up so it did some flips before catching it perfectly before sticking his hand through the little gate at the top, fished around, and then pulled out a single ticket!
"Wuil Bae! Congratulations on being selected!" A female cheer rose up toward one of the back resturants as the female quickly made her way toward the male.
"Finally some revenge against those bastard Sangheili!"
"Of course Mistress, you may have it prepared however you would like or even cook it yourself if you wish." he hopped off the crate he was on and started to talk with Wuil as Nek clapped respectfully for her and then just stayed where he was as he drank some more of his tea and started to type at his tac-pad. Sending a message to Kex asking if he was staying out of trouble and having fun at the meet so far? He would head down to the selling floor once he had finished his tea as he thought some about how much he enjoyed the Station and where the rest of that Sangheili was at.
The Sangheili's legs were probably being drawn for on the lower boarding level at this time, and then the arms and other heart tomorrow at the lower and upper respectively. And finally the head probably in the middle of the station on the last day as the equipment the poor sap had had probably already been sold. Everything must go and everything was sure to be enjoyed by the lucky who got picked.

Kex Kel - Ibie'Shan Security Master Location - The BB IV Meetin' with his Sweety
Kex continued on his way to meet Tel, traversing the levels to get to the proper eatery they were supposed to meet at. The best place he could afford, a quiet low light place where they specialized in the preparation of eyeballs. Tel loved eyeballs, or at least, she learned she did when Kex introduced her to them when seasoned with a spicy plant rub(she liked them whole so they pop when bitten into).
He was uncharacteristically out of armor, he almost always wore a standard Covenant issue Ibie-Shan combat harness, painted black with a red streaking over it. But not today. Today he wore a tight leather tunic, sleeveless and laced up the sides. It was blue leather, and studded. He wore a shiny gold chain with knuckle bones attached to it on rings. His pants were second knee length, form fitting, a soft dark gray material.
Kex stopped outside the meeting place, but stopped as he started heading towards it. Kex's PP started vibrating. Kex kept his PP tucked into side of his pants. He grabbed his PP and rubbed it, he seemed to have gotten something on it while eating earlier. After he finished rubbing it, Kex shook off his PP, looking to see why it vibrated.
Nek had messaged him to see how things were going for him, and to make sure he hadn't gotten into trouble. Kex had big plans for this trip, so no over drinking, or too much fighting. He was dressed fancy, and on his best behavior. It was awful. His father's old tunic was a bit over tight, and the fact he hadn't punched someone in several days was nearly unbearable.
"Aye Cap'n, having a grand time! Been behaving myself even. I hope you're likewise enjoying the visit" Kex said to his PP. It'd turn his words to text, the second it did so he pressed the send button.
With a readjustment of his clothes, a deep breath, and a small swig from his canteen, he marched right into meet with Tel. It was going to be a lovely meal, dammit! And an even better day! Kex was going to treat Tel to a splendid time, just the two of them for a good while. They never really got to do anything as a couple, other than work, and mate. It was some well deserved 'them time' for the pair.

Rear Admiral (Lower half) Frazer York Commanding Officer of the UNSCS Tassafaronga and the 22nd Battlegroup Trafalgar Class Fleet Carrier 22nd Battlegroup Back into the saddle...Tag(s): LlauJuly 11, 2548, 10:20
As Frazer finished his sentence Mike nodded, bringing up a map of the Neutral Systems on the holo-table. “ONI has been tracking information on a group of Insurrectionists who have stolen bio-chemical, military-grade weapons, and believe they are hiding out somewhere along the Neutral Systems. What better place to hide, than in there, sir.” Frazer took another sip of his tea, thinking about why ONI would go to all this effort to risk one of the UNSCs most valuable ships. Mike then brought up a galaxy that was located within the Neutral Systems. “ We believe they are hiding out within this location. Either in a large space station, or they have a base somewhere on one or more of these planets, as they are a fairly large group.” Mike zoomed in on the galaxy, showing the seven planets and two asteroid belts. “That's all the information we have available, sir.” Frazer then lifted his head from the galaxy map and looked up at him. “We'll learn more as soon as we arrive in this location.” Frazer sighed with a huff, intel or no intel this mission needed firm understanding of what they were looking for and what they could expect in the reaches of this sector. After all a Covenant fleet could come out of nowhere. Mike continued... “As for my mission. Frazer, his executive officer Tony and the tactical officer all looked at each other and nodded with approval. This seemed like a right thing to do. “As they are suspected to be a very large terrorist group, some help might be needed, especially if they have more than one base on more than one planet, since it's just me and six other field agents on board, while you have ground personnel who can assist my team if needed. Once we gather information regarding the stolen weapons, and capture the three HVTs, I'd like it if you can order one of your ships to destroy the bases.” Frazer then grunted, he didnt like the fact ONI had power of the UNSCs officers and naval ships. "As you say Lieutenant. Trayner plot a course that our friend here as provided half speeed this time please. Wilson inform the rest of the battlegroup of the coordinates that we are heading to." "Aye aye Admiral." Trayner said as she swung around to instruct some ensigns on there stations. Without delay the power of the ship moving forward was felt as the battlegroup moved forward through the seemingly endless space. Frazer then turned to face the holo table, stroking his thick stubble he had gained over the past couple of days. He turned to face Mike again, puzzled and in need of some answers. "Lieutenant, this is all fine and dandy. As I said you will have our full cooperation. You will have full pelican support and I will have you a detachment of our marines to support your efforts ready in ten mikes." Liara came up on the A.I. pedestal. "Liara inform Captain Jones that we need a detachment prepared and ready for deployment into enemy territory ASAP." "Ermm yes sir. Captain Jones this is..." Liara said as she disappeared off. Frazer turned to face Mike to finish his question. "Something that does bug me though. Why risk this battlegroup and my ship?" Frazer paused trying to think of the correct words for this. "This ship is a one of a kind supercarrier. Only two ever made. Why would we risk this ship and my battlegroup of one carrier and other ships just for something so small? Surely this can be a job for one of your..." Again pausing. "Special ships? Heck theirs a war going on that we should be fighting to win, not playing hunt the bad leader... Is there more a foot here your just not telling me? Or are we just the lucky ones to be picked for such a dangerous venture into the unknown..." Frazer finished what seemed like ten questions and waited patiently for his reply.

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo Moretti ONI Tactical Field Operator July 11, 2548 Aboard UNSCS Tassafaronga, Bridge Tag(s): Frazer"As you say Lieutenant. Trayner plot a course that our friend here as provided half speed this time please. Wilson inform the rest of the battlegroup of the coordinates that we are heading to."Moretti watched everyone work, but then fixed his attention on the holo-table for a few moments, as he listened to every word of what was going on on the bridge. "Aye aye Admiral." He heard Trayner say, and then he glanced up as she instructed some ensigns, and then they began working at their stations. The field operator felt the power of the ship moving forward, as the battlegroup moved forward. He then turned his attention back to the Admiral, who was looking at him with a puzzled expression. Here we go...Moretti thought, knowingly with a blank stare. "Lieutenant, this is all fine and dandy. As I said you will have our full cooperation. You will have full pelican support and I will have you a detachment of our marines to support your efforts ready in ten mikes." He nodded at that, looking at the man appreciatively when Liara appeared on the A.I. Pedestal, and then he listened as Frazer ordered, "Liara inform Captain Jones that we need a detachment prepared and ready for deployment into enemy territory ASAP." After she disappeared to give the Captain his instructions, the Admiral returned his attention to the Lieutenant Commander to finish his questions. "Something that does bug me though. Why risk this battlegroup and my ship?" There was a short pause before he went on, "This ship is a one of a kind supercarrier. Only two ever made. Why would we risk this ship and my battlegroup of one carrier and other ships just for something so small? Surely this can be a job for one of your..." Another pause, and Moretti just stood there, staring at him with that same blank face as he continued to listen to the man. "Special ships? Heck theirs a war going on that we should be fighting to win, not playing hunt the bad leader... Is there more a foot here your just not telling me? Or are we just the lucky ones to be picked for such a dangerous venture into the unknown..."Moretti gave him a warm, but slight smile. He needed this man to believe what he was saying was true, and to agree with him. Thankfully, he knew a lot about psychology, and how human beings were social in their behavior. Simply nodding, while asking someone a question, would get them to believe what was being said was true. He was devious like that, more so than usual. “Admiral,” He explained, “We need your battlegroup because of it's firepower, and because of the high probability that this terrorist group won't be alone out here. The Neutral Systems are a vast, unexplored place, but isn't controlled by either side, correct?” He asked him while slowly nodding as he went on. “But what is stopping the Covenant Forces from trying to establish control here, and set up bases? They are a bigger threat than the Insurrection...you know this. With you and your battlegroup...you would be helping ONI out immensely, as the war can be every where...even here in this system.” He smiled a little again, giving him a little nod again. “ You're right...we could handle this on our own, but we can take care of these problems better if we work more as a team than doing things on our own. You help me. I'll help you. We're at war, and all of us need to work together. We won't win if we don't.” A pause, " And who knows what's out there...those Innie rats can be all dead for all we know, and have their ships or bases overrun by Covenant Forces. Better to be safe and bring the extra firepower, than not..." He said, nodding at this as he looked back down at the holo-table in front of him.

Nek Dal, T'vaoan cargo Captain Aboard the BB IV, Main trade floor. At his vender stall.
Tossing the empty bottle into one can and the cap it came with in another Nek burped happily at his drink, then immediately regretted it as he started to cough before he managed to get that under control. Apologizing to the Ruuthian he had shoved when he keeled over Nek started to make his way toward the stairs leading down. Down toward the main trade floor as the noises of selling quickly reached his ear holes. It was good to be back for sure - eating proper food was nice. But hearing the lifeblood of the Kig-Yar be shouted out and haggled for was the real slice of life Nek loved.
He kind of wished that Zahl was more interested in this part of Kig-Yar society. Not only because it could be a place where he could meet her to talk to her but also because he would get to see his chicks again. Frowning at that thought he glanced down at his locket before down at his pants as his PP vibrated. Taking it out he looked it over to read the message Kex had left him on it. Well it was good to know that at least Kex thought he was behaving. Though Kex's idea of 'behaving' often allowed a good bit of leeway. But Nek was pretty sure Kex had told him that he was going to try to have some more personal time with Tel this meet. And Kex may have been a fighter but even he knew that if he wanted to have time with Tel that wasn't them both in the prison he would need to not beat anyone down today. Slipping his pad back into his pocket he waited until he was at the bottom of the stairs and at his registered stall before he thought about replying.
His crew nodded and greeting him when he sat down and Nek smiled and greeted them in return but waved off the manifest of current sales for now as he let them know he would see it after he sent a message. Thankfully his PP and tac-pad were connected as he found it much easier to type on the Tac-pad despite the fact he could only use one hand - just what you get used to.
'Good to hear Kex - so far I am. On the main trade floor but you and Tel have fun. Just remember the meet ends tomorrow night so don't go too crazy'. Tapping send Nek sighed happily as he took the manifest to see what had been sold so far. It was going pretty well and Nek was soon talking with a potential customer and client as he liked what he saw at the stall and was interested in getting a contract with Nek to get more items - and as one of the few trusted Human item traders Nek could get it for him. Just perhaps in less quantities than the other T'vaoan wanted since Grandpapa Suf was still watching him somehow...Nek pausing for a moment as he wondered if Suf was at the meet this time...Aecor he hoped not - but quickly went back to the talk as the selling and buying continued all around him.
(Ahhh...we are children sometimes with these PP's ^.^)
---------
On the Command floor of the BB the Nest Vep employees of the Station were enjoying a relatively peaceful day. There had only been small scuffles and no firefights yet, all the ships at the meet so far were keeping a safe distance and weren't fighting, and the reactors and fuel levels were all very much in the green. Commodore Vep wasn't even currently on the top Command level were the station and its space were monitored, as she was two floors down taking a meal with her family from one of the BB's personal ships - to discuss the future of the Station and some news that the Captains of the ships arriving had brought with them. But the Nest Vep citizens weren't too worried, they all knew what to do should a firefight break out (lock down the section and doors until security could arrive) or if reactor temperature was running a bit high (shut down the light and lower the heat in the prison till it cooled)...But they did need to discuss with Commodore Vep about if a ship got too close. They didn't really have a plan for that and with some more ships than normal showing up for this meet it was a real possibility.
Speaking of ships some new blips had shown up on the stations long range sensors. Nothing besides the fact they were there but there seemed to be about seven - all in the same spot? They hadn't been told to expect a pirate fleet today or a group. Could just be a bunch of smaller ships arriving in a group for safety in numbers but they were getting pretty full this meet. So hopefully they would understand if they wern't all allowed to come onto the station. The Ibie'Shan male just tapping some keys on his station to let the Officer on deck know that a group of seven ships seemed to be approaching, and he would report when they had IDs on them. The male bringing up the large list of the accepted ships for checking when he received these vessels info. To make sure they were allowed.

Rear Admiral (Lower half) Frazer York Commanding Officer of the UNSCS Tassafaronga and the 22nd Battlegroup Trafalgar Class Fleet Carrier 22nd Battlegroup Back into the saddle...Tag(s): LlauFrazer took another sip of his British home-made tea and listened as the Field Operative answered his questions. Hei gave him a warm smile. “You're right...we could handle this on our own, but we can take care of these problems better if we work more as a team than doing things on our own. You help me. I'll help you. We're at war, and all of us need to work together. We won't win if we don't.” Frazer nodded back in approval as he agreed that the Covenant could just turn up and be anywhere in these systems at any given time. A pause, "And who knows what's out there...those Innie rats can be all dead for all we know, and have their ships or bases overrun by Covenant Forces. Better to be safe and bring the extra firepower, than not..." He said, nodding at this as he looked back down at the holo-table in front of him. Frazer looked down at the holo table and then back up at the Lieutenant one more time. He understood the risk now a lot more and felt actually quite comfortable with the task at hand. "Okay Lieutenant I understand. I mean as long as we arent just being wasted out here then I am fine with it." He turned to look at Trayner as she was directing her station officers on their tasks. "Trayner lets increase engine speed to three quarters of full speed. Tony keep an eye on the holo table for anything unknown to pop up. We will need to be ready for anything." The crew nodded and Frazer turned back to face Mike as he again took another sip of his tea. "Ohh how this war can be." Tony said as he zoomed out on the holo table for a bigger picture on the area. Frazer turned to face him again and smiled to him chuckling. "Since when did my executive officer complain?" Frazer paused. "Ohh right all the time I believe." The bridge erupted in laughter. Tony chuckled along. The bridge crew got along so well with Frazer that he actually felt like they were his second family. The battlegroup went further and further into unknown space. Hopefully nearing its destination soon. Liara came up on the A.I pedestal. "Admiral." She turned to Mike. "Lieutenant your team of marines have assembled in hanger area two. Pelican pilots are in their ships and are ready to go when called upon. Captain Jones and his detachment are standing by and awaiting your orders. Should I tell the Captain your orders? Or would you like to personally speak with him in private sir?" Frazer let Mike reply to her as it was aimed at him.

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo Moretti ONI Tactical Field Operator July 11, 2548 Aboard UNSCS Tassafaronga, Bridge The Lies Just Keep Piling...But Hey, He's ONI. He's Used To It. Tag(s): Frazer"Okay Lieutenant I understand. I mean as long as we aren't just being wasted out here then I am fine with it." Moretti nodded, watching as the man turned to look at Trayner, while she was busy directing her station officers. He looked on as they worked, and was quiet, while Frazer ordered the bridge crew. "Trayner lets increase engine speed to three quarters of full speed. Tony keep an eye on the holo table for anything unknown to pop up. We will need to be ready for anything." The crew nodded in response, and then the Lieutenant Commander shifted his focus from them, and back to the Admiral when he looked back at him. "Ohh how this war can be." Moretti overheard Tony say, and then glanced over at him when Frazer turned to face him as he chuckled. "Since when did my executive officer complain?" Frazer paused. "Ohh right all the time I believe." The bridge erupted in laughter, and Moretti stood there awkwardly, but ignored all the laughing from those having a good time. He wasn't here to have a good time. He was here to do his job and complete it. He leaned forward somewhat as he pressed his hands against the holo-table. He stared intently at the images along the map, waiting patiently. The battlegroup continued to press on into unknown space, and hopefully, they will reach his real target. His eyebrows furrowed lightly, glaring his chocolate brown eyes in determination. He only had one chance at this. He blinked when Liara appeared again on the AI pedestal, but kept his eyes fixed on the map "Admiral." She turned to Mike. "Lieutenant, your team of marines have assembled in hanger area two. Pelican pilots are in their ships and are ready to go when called upon. Captain Jones and his detachment are standing by and awaiting your orders. Should I tell the Captain your orders? Or would you like to personally speak with him in private sir?" “ Good,” Moretti replied, “ Have them and the field operators from my team stand by until we are closer. Once we are closer to the targets location, and have more data on what exactly are around these planets; which includes defenses, enemy numbers ground-side and if they have any forces and defenses in space, so on and so forth. Then we can deploy. I don't want to go in blind and have to deal with surprises.”

Nek Dal, T'vaoan cargo Captain Aboard the BB IV, Main trade floor. Well this took a turn.
"That's not enough Nek, I need more!" The Ibie'Shan female, Pun, growled at him at his stall as Nek tried to explain that what was asking was impossible for a few reasons.
"Mistress Pun!" he squeaked out, holding up his hands a bit as several of the Kigs browsing Nek's stall stopped to watch this. "I don't have enough cargo space to take on a contract of that magnitude, I have other deliveries and shipments I need to make."
Pun, a well known Pirate and 'pants-wearer' (as Humans would call her) of the Nest of her and Captain Gaz, took a step forward and growled at the T'vaoan that was just her height. Good for her as it made it easier for her to intimidate Nek. Nek now realizing why Gaz had been scared of his 'little birdy' and wondering what poor fate had befallen Gaz when it was revealed he went on his own mission and returned with nothing but a dead Human ship and fake bombs. The weapons and spare parts gathered probably not enough to satisfy Pun. "Then you will make room! I have a spare ship now and a new crew that needs to be outfitted!" Nek had to hope that that wasn't Gaz's former crew and ship but why would she want Human weapons for that?
"Why Human weapons Mistress? Our's would be cheaper for youOW!" Rubbing the top of his head after he had been bonked there by the Ibie'Shan mistress she quickly and SUPER calmly explained why.
"Are you daft?! Human weapons when raiding Human targets makes them confused and stupid! And if we need to leave the ship behind or take only one thing after removing the security logs and tiny glow Human it will make the ones that find the ship even more confused!" Nek would have thought that they wouldn't be confused when they say armored Kig-Yar holding the weapons...but any small advantage gained he supposed.
"I can get some of them for you Mistress, but as I said cargo space for them is limited." Well that and Suf would be on his case if he just happened to suddenly have a lot of Human weapons, but no need to let that tasty bit of gossip be known to the Kig-Yar populace. Pun seemed angry at that but was then distracted by her own PP buzzing and she stopped to read and then reply to that. Which seemed to calm her down just enough to nod.
"Fine...I'll send you the order when I get back to my ship and will pay for what you are able to get for me, just hope its a lot." Nek just nodded as Pun walked off with her First mate close behind at her heels. Nek just sighing a bit and sitting back down in his chair as he rubbed his face and drank from the thermos he had stored in one of the cargo boxes. Clearing his throat from the cough he could feel forming as he hoped that it would be the only shouting match he would have to deal with today.
(Poor Gaz n Nek - no BB control post since the Hooman ships still approaching.)

Kex Kel - Ibie'Shan Security Master Location - The BB IV Lunch Time
Kex took a last glance at his PP as he walked towards his destination, it had started to vibrate again. Nek was having a nice time too it seemed, though the Captain didn't seem particularly convinced of Kex's good intentions. Understandable. Though, a small part of Kex was saddened by it. When was the last time he actually had behaved himself? Was he incapable of civilized function? Perhaps his days of Piracy were too strongly engrained in him to simply be forgotten....
Shrugging these thoughts off(as Kex was so good at), he strode towards the eatery with a bob of his head and rattling of his purple quills. He nodded politely to the reservationist, and the weapon checker. Kex unhooked his sword belt and handed it over, along with at least four knives and the Kig-Yar equivalent to knuckle dusters.
"Do you have a reservation, Master?" the somewhat flamboyant Ruuhtian asked politely.
"That'd be Kex" the Ibie'Shan replied with a polite smile. "I'm sorry, but you'll have to be more specific than that, could I get a Clan name perhaps?" the reservationist asked apologetically. Kex looked behind himself, and each side, before giving his answer in an almost hushed tone. "Kex Kel"
The Ruuhtian frowned, unfamiliar with the Clan, and with these days it was always best to check that they're a Clan you want to serve. He took out his PP, and tapped it, scrolling as he searched a list. His already large eyes bulged slightly as his skin tone paled slightly, clearing his throat he straightened somewhat.
"I'll... I'll seat you Master Kel... your companion is awaiting you, would you like a drink while your waiter prepares to take your orders?" the Reservationist asked, getting over the shock of the Clan the new customer came from(the Clan was thought to be extinct, a tall tale to scare chicks by some accounts, but entirely real and far from extinct). "Thank ya, I'll have some o' that juice" Kex said with a small smile, pointing to a blue pitcher.
Kex moved through the eatery, navigating the tables and booths, searching for Tel. In the back, in a half circle corner booth nestled into a corner, Tel was sitting, tapping on her PP. No doubt sending harsh orders to her 'peons'. Such a sweetheart. Kex grinned ear hole to ear hole.
"Aye, there's me deary!" Kex said joyously as he walked over to his beloved. Tel beamed, standing to greet him. The two embraced, rubbing the sides of their beaks together. "Took you long enough" she said with a wink. Kex smiled, nicking her elbow scale with his claw. "Someone's feisty" she said, elbowing him in the side as they seated themselves together.

Rear Admiral (Lower half) Frazer York Commanding Officer of the UNSCS Tassafaronga and the 22nd Battlegroup Punic Class Supercarrier 22nd Battlegroup Things are getting hairy...Tag(s): Llau July 11, 2548, 10:25Mike opened up with a reply to Liara. “Good,” Moretti replied, “Have them and the field operators from my team stand by until we are closer. Once we are closer to the targets location, and have more data on what exactly are around these planets; which includes defenses, enemy numbers ground-side and if they have any forces and defenses in space, so on and so forth. Then we can deploy. I don't want to go in blind and have to deal with surprises.” Frazer nodded along just agreeing with what the ONI agent had said. "Liara prep longswords for stage two of deployment. I want all longswords pilot being briefed by their section commanders." "Yes sir. I will inform them now." She turned to face the Lieutenant. "Lieutenant." She turned to face Frazer. "Admiral." Then Liara disappeared off the A.I. pedestal. "Well Lieutenant lets hope any of this intel isnt just a farce and we will actually find something worth while out here." Frazer said to Mike as the battlegroup unexpectedly flew closer to their target. Sometime after a blimp came up on the holo table. July 11, 2548, 10:45
"Admiral unidentified object located at grid coordinates -356 and 280. We are unable to get a firm look at the object until we get closer. Orders sir?" Tony asked. "Liara." She came up on the A.I pedestal as Frazer said her name. "Bring the ship to red alert. I want four squadrons of longswords blanketing the battlegroup." Liara nodded and again disappeared off the pedestal. "Blackpool bring all weapon systems online. Archer pods, MACS. The lot." Blackpool nodded and pointed some of the ensigns in the right direction of turning the weapons systems online. "Wilson send a message to the battlegroup and order them to do the same. Trayner full power ahead. Lets go see what this object is." "Aye aye sir." Trayner said as she kicked the ships engine into life. Frazer turned to face Mike. "So Commander. Is this object the thing you have come to destroy with my marines?" Frazer paused trying not to sound too contradicting. "What would you like our next steps to be?" Frazer knew he was the higher rank around the ship. Heck it was his battlegroup and ship but he didnt want to get into a fight with ONI if Frazer didnt agree with something. At the end of the day he wouldnt win.

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo Moretti ONI Tactical Field Operator July 11, 2548 Aboard UNSCS Tassafaronga, Bridge Spooky Spook Knows Things...Creepy Lil Shit... Tag(s): Frazer10:25"Well Lieutenant lets hope any of this intel isn't just a farce and we will actually find something worth while out here." The Lieutenant Commander heard the Admiral say to him, while he kept a vigilant watch on the holo-table. “And if it's a farce, then I guess we could all just go back home, grab a beer, and relax in the recliner, watching whatever good show or sports that strikes your fancy, sir,” Moretti quietly said, and then glanced up at him from the holo-table, and grinned a little. He returned his vigilant gaze on the holo-table, and stared at the blimp that came up on it; but said nothing about it. He knew what it was...what it could be. 10:45"Admiral, unidentified object, located at grid coordinates -356 and 280. We are unable to get a firm look at the object until we get closer. Orders sir?" Tony asked."Liara." She came up on the A.I pedestal as Frazer said her name. "Bring the ship to red alert. I want four squadrons of longswords blanketing the battlegroup." Trayner full power ahead. Lets go see what this object is.""Aye aye sir." Trayner said as she kicked the ships engine into life. Moretti straightened up again, just as Frazer turned to face him. He gave the Admiral his full attention, rather expectantly when the man spoke to him. "So Commander. Is this object the thing you have come to destroy with my marines?" Frazer paused trying not to sound too contradicting. "What would you like our next steps to be?"“Well, for one, Admiral, this unidentified object is much closer than those coordinates that I have provided for you to head toward,” He paused. Looking down toward the holo-table, he put in the coordinates of where the Insurrectionists were located, and then the new coordinates of where the unidentified object was at. “It seems as if we're going to have a bit of excitement before we get there, no?” He asked, glancing back up at him. “Then again, it could be nothing; a farce. Could be debris from a derelict ship for all we know. Hard to tell until your crew can get a firm lock on the object once we get closer.”He smiled a little. “Admiral, you didn't get this far in the Navy, asking someone like me on how you should do something,” he said, “I trust that you're competent enough to handle the next steps in dealing with unidentified objects on your own. You don't need me to tell you.”A small, but cold smile formed. He stepped closer to the Admiral, and quietly spoke to him. “One thing is for certain, I hope you don't repeat what you did when you met with that group of aliens...talked to them...and letting them all go. All because you wanted to thank them for helping Commander Woods and her ship.” He winced at that, and then stared at him indifferently. “Talk about going against the Cole Protocol,” Shaking his head, he went on, “Hmm. You seem like a swell guy, Admiral, so I should warn you...HIGHCOM won't be so lenient on you the next time you play nice with the enemy.” While adding, "Whilst I understand Woods was in a desperate situation, and was likely not thinking straight at the time, it does not excuse you for letting them go. Nor does it excuse your lack of punishment for her. You were a Captain at the time in charge of a Virtue class carrier, something with two preeetty big guns that could've dealt with the ship. Not to mention the file submitted by an anonymous crew member of Woods' ship stated that weapons were online and were actively locked onto the target, but didn't open fire.”He then question, “Why? How could you let her get away with trusting the enemy with vital UNSC equipment that even a frigate holds. I believe they conducted work on her communications array, do you understand how much of a risk that holds if our systems were breached through that? One with the right mind could get all the details out of it including encryption and other things like that out of equipment that transmits data.”He grinned. “Don't worry though, Woods reassignment to the Epsilon Eridani fleet was conducted as punishment. Taken from active line of duty and put on patrol instead. Her and her shiny new Destroyer that hopefully no "friendly" aliens get their hands on. Not that the rest of her new fleet would allow it. "

Tags: BetaWülf , Llau , Frazer (Really sorry for the wait all, I thought it was someone elses turn and then Llau had her sweet Brotherhood tour off site, but back now so maybe we can start this up again.) Nek Dal, T'vaoan cargo Captain Aboard the BB IV, Main trade floor. Weighing some odds. Tapping his beak as he looked over a datapad Nek was carefully considering the trade that Pun wanted to make with him. She was offering a very good price for each crate of Human weapons, the Pirate wanting magnums and assault rifles with some Battle Rifles for her elite guard. And Nek would make a large profit on this trade regardless of what he was able to get as long as it was more than just one box. She clearly had quiet the funds...Making Nek ponder what fleet she belonged too. But that wasn't important to the deal so he would not look into it. What he would have to work out now is how many would be too many to bring Suf's wrath down on his head. He really liked to keep his mane and his life and not have either slowly crushed him by some 'Jelly' Zealot or bleed from him while being berated by Suf...decisions decisions. Would Suf be more lenient if he shared some of the profits with the Elder? The Grandpapa was still a Ruuthian after all...still a Kig-Yar. Gekz should temper his temper but for all Nek knew Suf would just take all the money and kill him anyway. He sure seemed adamant that he needed to stop trading with enemies of the Covenant last time they met...But the Pirates were enemies of the Covenant too and Nek had been trading with them with a little Human on the side for the past few months and Suf hadn't sent him any message so far. And he hadn't had Kex space any of the crew so he knew the mole in his crew, very certain Suf had at least one, was still there feeding the Elder information. Would the old Covenant offical accept bribery? He knew some of the San 'Shyuum did and even the proud Sangheili probably bent from time to time so surely Suf would too? Running the claws on his empty hand through his mane Nek grumbled to himself as he thought about sending a message to Suf to find out, before shaking his head. That would just get him in hot water and then get no profit at all...it was better to ask for forgiveness that permission right? BB Control: Defense stations 1 It soon became apparent to the Ibie'Shan sensor operator that he was not going to get easy identification from these Human vessels - said vessels probably able to detect the query pings from the large station. So he would just have to wait till they got a bit closer to know what these running dark ships were. Some of the Covenant ships parked around the station starting to pick them up too - and once the lead vessel of the seven crossed the threshhold the Command deck quickly started to get calls from the Covenant craft asking what to do. It was Humans, a Human Wing! With weapons hot! Needless to say the Command had a few panicing crewmen on deck but the officers quickly squawked at them all to calm down. They had procedures for this! The current main Officer on deck, a T'vaoan with a old Human military peaked hat on the top of his head informing the deck that they were moving to Defense level 1 - and to call the Commodore to come back up immediatly. The following actions when then happen in quick succession; the Commodore was radioed that a Human wing had arrived, approaching with weapons, and to come immediately. Every ship at the station was informed that Humans were approaching, the BB started to slowly turn so its engines could catapult it into slipspace in an escape vector, the slip space drive already ready to go they just needed to line up and clear a space, and the message of trade was broadcast to the Humans to see if this was just a misunderstanding. However the current Kig-Yar on the station were not informed yet. That would not be until level 2 which would soon come if the Humans continued to advance without responding. Which would also order all the current Kig-Yar and Covenant vessels at the meet, currently 16, to move into a defensive formation. "Greetings Humans! You are about to enter the Big Bazaars, and the ships with it, range. If you wish to trade you will need to power down weapons immediately - otherwise you will be fired upon. Nothing personal - just safe business."Would be broadcast to all of the Human vessels in the Kig-Yar language, followed by a rough approximation of English afterwards - but the message had not been updated in awhile and so could have some issues. And the protocol for Human vessels had only mentioned one, not seven. And not seven including one that seemed waaaay to large to be a Human vessel. (Feel free to say what the approximation says if you all wish to receive .)
