Areas of interest:
The Citadel of Redeeming Vigilance and its territories:
Sitting on the glassed crater of the fallen corvette Waning Sigh is the military citadel housing the recuperations and training of the Army of Redeeming Vigilance between missions. Over its year of construction and reinforcement by the directive of Field Marshal Til Je’at Ze’at ‘Muramai, the Citadel of Redeeming Vigilance stretches completely over the crater and defended territory to a pseudo-city in memorial of the hard defense he and his force’s veterans have endured. Similar to the related battle, it is sectioned with three sections separated by thick automated turret-lined walls that can handle a siege with a violent retaliation.
The Defense Circle, the Living Circle and the Citadel Core.
The Living Circle’s Expansions:
Everlasting Stand’s Temple:
Under the holy guidance of the Cleric Tranquil, the citadel’s temple is a well-funded place with reverence glowing from the returning soldiers whose faith have been constantly challenged and doubt in such short times. Some question if another Age of Doubt will slithering into this reclamation but the Cleric and his ascetics condemns it with a powerful voice and conviction beguiling his youth. Come to this holy place and listen to the soul-soothing hymns. It also hold the Memorial of the Lamenting Consecration.
The Army’s Barracks:
The Citadel’s multitude of barracks rests at the mid-sector of the triple leveled base. Enough to house the soldiers that return from their last campaign and those who are freshly recruited and training to replenish the unfortunate lost numbers. Within the second largest sector, the infantry have enough room to provide a...comfortable girth between one another’s cultural differences while Til still enforce brotherhood between them. They will fight together, they will defend together and they better well be used to each other.
The Summit of Defiance’s Reach:
Among the summits standing as high as the planet’s massive trees, this summit reaches even higher. Enough to serve as both its primary comms tower and main supplier to aerial defense for both the region and army. Perhaps the most daring project of the Citadel’s erection, Defiance’s Reach supports its own energy shield for double security. Its housing of ever-replicating Huragok work day and night in building the multitude of vessels and drift out to expand the citadel’s maintenance. Here, the army begin their disembark out into the galaxy as well.
The Markets:
To stimulate some relaxation and economy for their hard work, the soldiers are able to converse with the Citadel’s visiting merchants, suppliers and armorers at the Marketplace mixed of both temporary homes and selling places. For the right prestige and merits, one can find some unique minor items to enjoy in the standardized unity of the Covenant military.
Training Arenas:
While the barracks have their training facilities and secure weapon lockers, the Training Arenas are larger and promote a prime entertainment for the violent and noble alike. Here, disputes are dealt with and the practices against the captured beasts of this world is beheld under the cries of the soldiers.
The Citadel Core:
The Citadel
The Citadel itself rests at the heart of its grand design, built majestic and powerful yet standardized among the prefabrication bases the Covenant Empire tended to use. Here, the ruling Field Marshal and his fellow commanders take their deserved rest and counsel for the campaign. Its mighty energy core supplies power to the entire surroundings and its carefully placed energy shield projectors.
The Hall of Silent Winds
Where the infantry rests in the Living Circle, the elite Special Operations troop have the honor of resting next to the Citadel in their grand hall. Here, this is their ‘public’ front in the circles and few ever stepped within. Recruits come in and secretive killers come out.
