File Name: Aircraft Change Form First Lieutenant Willis, Ryan has requested to change aircraft. He specifically requested the SparrowHawk, even though of its low use rate Williams seemed determined that the Aircraft would be right for him. After about a month of waiting for approval, Williams finally got the request approved by his higher ups. Williams was happy at this approval and was ready to try out the Gauss Cannons of the SparrowHawk on the Covies.
Williams has decided to unassign his co-pilot as the SparrowHawk only needs one pilot along with a gunner.

What is this?
The SparrowHawk isn't experimental, it's a production version attack aircraft in service with the MARINES primarily and other service branches. Marines call it an ATTACK VTOL, while other branches believe it has enough armament/fire power to classify them as a gunship.
Also, the Covenant wouldn't 'capture and release' you. If you were captured by the Covenant that would mean they needed something from you. Very, very rarely do the Covenant take prisoners. Instead, you would have likely been killed.

I meant that he was released by the UNSC when they found a Covenant testing site. I thought that the SparrowHawk's engine could explode at any second so it was considered an experiment/prototype, but I'll change it if you would want me to.

Part of my responsibilities on the website is to make sure things are represented canonically correct.
The SparrowHawk has been in combat service 2531. Now, in 2550, you'll start to see less of them as apparently the AV-30 replaces it - which is a lego creation at the moment so we should be able to expand upon it. As for the Covenant testing site, humanity at this point very RARELY visits planets they have lost and it would be illogical for the Covenant to make a testing site on a human planet.

Alright thanks for the canon info, I'll change this thread to a vehicle changing form of some type.
