Backstory: After the major defeat earlier in the month that battered and demoralized 120th MEU they finally returned to Reach and have been planet side for roughly a day. Immediately after their arrival Colonel Killinger ordered immediate R&R for his troops, however scheduled a social gathering for the MEU a few days after they returned - knowing they'd need a morale boost. High Command wouldn't authorize any form of social gathering in a professional matter at this time so the MEU Commander rented a recreational facility for the day. You'll start already there, at the facility, where you can choose if you with to play Grav-ball. Additionally, more classic games are available like pool, air hockey and - under the orders of the MEU Commander - a LAN gaming network where you can play a modified version of the UNSCs handheld tactical simulator; other recreational facilities such as a swimming pool and weight lifting area also exist. Killinger rented the facility out for the day and brought his grill, however it's bring your own beer... and burgers. Plot: No plot, just a social thread for the Marines of the 120th [and anyone else] to enjoy.

It is only a social event, so it's not very important. All you need to do is post. This is a chance more to develop your character, as you can't really develop the emotional and mental aspects of a character during a combat-oriented thread.
