A staff sponsored mission will be the mission that accelerates our timeline forward. At the conclusion of that mission the month, or potentially year, will increase as a result. In order to get your mission staff sponsored it will boil down to a criteria we've created. Here is that criteria for you:
**Note: The staff reserve the right to increase the year without sponsoring a mission**
How well the mission is developed
A 'developed mission' is defined, by the administrative team, as how much information is available for the participants. The more information available logically indicates that thee content creator has spent more time developing the mission; this means that the story is well thought out and any questions should be answered quickly and easily for people interested in role-playing in their mission.
The staff will ask for the plot, goal and story of thee mission. If they like what they see your chances of a staff sponsorship is increased; of course this is only the first step.
Member Interest
It might look like we're only choosing the most popular missions, but there is a reason for that. A staff sponsored mission would need to be active. The more popular a missions interest check is, the more chances of it being active when the author of the mission launches it for the public to participate.
Of course interest isn't everything. If there is a mission better developed but not receiving as much interest, there is a strong possibility that mission - which is better developed - will be the staff sponsored mission. This means, to those who like to create quick mission - make it well developed. A mission interest check that is both well developed and popular is a no brain to sponsor.
This should create some competition in terms of quality, not quantity, we hope.
Play-ability
How playable is your mission going to be? Does it only support one faction, like the Covenant, or does it support both factions; the UNSC and the Covenant? Will people be able to create NPCs just for that mission, will there be Insurrectionists. Basically, what we are asking as a staff team, is how many members will be able to participate in your mission.
A sponsorship will not be awarded, at the start of this new system, for missions only featuring one faction. This means, for now at least, you need to tailor your mission to feature both main factions [UNSC and Covenant] as playable factions.
