So this side RP would revolve around the Lizardmen from Warhammer Fantasy Battles, ferocious denizens of the Lustrian Jungles.
There are several kinds of them, and for this side RP the following will be playable; Saurus, Kroxigor, and Skinks.
Saurus
There are several kinds of them, and for this side RP the following will be playable; Saurus, Kroxigor, and Skinks.
Saurus
Saurus: The Saurus are large, ferocious Lizardmen and the primary soldiers used in their armies. They average between seven and nine feet in height, have razor sharp claws and teeth, and thick scales that deflect all but the most determined blows. They can also survive horrific injuries, often leading to them becoming Scar Veterans if they do not perish in battle before they gain seniority.
Skinks
Skinks
Skinks: The Skinks are small, semi-aquatic creatures, and make up the majority of Lizardmen society. They often times march alongside the Saurus, wielding blowpipes or javelins most often. They slightly shorter than a Human, but are still quite dangerous. They normally fill the role of craftsmen and attendant in the Temple Cities of the Lizardmen.
Kroxigor
Kroxigor
Kroxigor: The Kroxigor are massive, dim witted, and excessively brutal Lizardmen and the primary laborers of Temple Cities. They stand around twelve to fourteen feet in height. They have thick, damage resistant scales, and wield massive cudgels which must be chained to their wrists, lest they abandon their weapon to rend foe with tooth and claw alone.
The General Idea
So the vague/general idea is to be a nice little warband of Lizardmen traveling through the Jungles of Lustria, traveling from one Temple City to another one. What makes this Side RP different is the randomization factor. For every five posts, I will personally roll some dice, pull some paper from a hat, or use my nifty little raffle machine(yes, I really own one).
Depending on what I roll/pull out/or raffle machine, a random event will occur. It could be something as simple as a venomous snake crossing our path, or a pack of carnivorous reptiles attacking, or as serious as an ambush by Human interlopers.
Also, there would be the real possibility of Player Characters dying in every encounter. But, to make that not too awful, nothing too serious is expected in your Character Sheet so it is easy to just make a new dude. But, there will be a limited NPC pool, from which your new character will come from, and from which an NPC can die also.
This allows people to drop in and out of this as they please, so nobody is excluded while maintaining a gritty realism.
