With recent changes to our Staff team, We have lost a moderator and now need to fill the spot. Please observe the rules below. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in your application being rejected. Thanks.

Rules

- You may only nominate yourself.

- Your form does not guarantee acceptance, only consideration!

- If you don't apply, you won't be considered. This isn't reverse psychology.

- If not enough people apply, we won't necessarily simply accept those who do depending on their applications.

- Please post your form, fully filled out, in this thread. No other discussion should take place in here.

- Although experience will be a consideration, the main consideration is responsibility and dedication. All may apply.

- The number of staff we will accept is - at the moment - one.

- Finally, out of those who apply, we will further examine their application and then host an internal staff vote. The person who wins the vote will be granted the moderator title.

Why should you be a mod?:

I know how to contribute. I know how to help. I enjoy helping new members around, and - depending on their preferred faction - can help them with character development. I'm more fluent with the Covenant side, but I'm going to get adapted with the UNSC as well. I can also help grade profiles.

I know one of you staff are going to mention it, so i'm going to clarify it. I know that I seem to have a lack of maturity at times. This is only because I normally have a "laid back, carefree" sort of mindset. But I know how to be mature. I know how to be responsible. I take things like important positions seriously. I will drop all that immature idiocy, seeing as a position like staff requires such a feat. You probably don't believe me. But if you place your trust in my words, I promise you won't regret it. I won't take your trust for granted.

Why do you want to be a mod?:

Because, I enjoy this site and I want to contribute to it. So far, my run on this site has been phenomenal. And I've rarely done anything to help it. Even if I had, they were rather small. I've feel that there's a sort of debt I need to pay because of this lack of contribution. I figure by becoming a mod I can help the site more and pay this debt of contribution.

Why should you be a mod?:

The Moderator position is an extremely important roll, that requires discipline and the ability to work efficiently and effectively, especially the Global Moderator position. Wrestling really taught me about how much that discipline and ability to work really apply to real life now, since I'm using it to get my education. I feel as though I can apply what I've learned from these lessons to the site if given the role of a moderator or global moderator.  

Besides that, I'm always around the site. The first thing that opens up when I turn my computer on is Chrome, and my home page on Chrome is Yappa's, even when I'm out and about doing stuff the site is up on my phone. You can usually find me in the cbox, or if not on the cbox on skype, just chilling and waiting for other members to come online and possibly collaborate or just chat with. Which I believe should make me a strong candidate for being a Mod. I've also made a profile from Tier 4 down, So I know what is required of the lower tiers, having made multiple Tier 3 and tier 2 characters as well. Which I believe is essential when becoming a moderator.

Why do you want to be a mod?:


I've been around the site for awhile now, not gonna lie at first I was a nuisance. Now though, after gaining some more experience in life and maturing more, I feel as though I'm ready to make my contribution to this site. I've seen a lot of other moderators come and go, either because they didn't like something happening (Only saw that once or twice though) or usually, because of something that's going on in real life. Currently the only things going on in my life are school, and wrestling, and that's on a 9-7 basis Mon-Thurs starting next month, so that leaves me with plenty of time to help with the site.

    For awhile I knew I wouldn't make a good moderator, particularly during the last few months of high-school since I wanted to go out and do things on a regular basis (which I did.) but the time for being a child has ended. Now I feel a drive to work on improving this site, just like it helped me improve as a person, because I wouldn't have matured so quickly if I wasn't on this site.

UPDATE: I've toned down the deadline to the 19th, with the updates seemingly complete (for now) it's time to focus our attention on new staff member(s). Please don't delay if you're interested in a staff position.

Why should you be a mod?:
I would like to believe that my knowledge of Halo is extensive and would be a helpful addition to the staff team. Also a Covie peep so could help with that as the Staff team is currently three UNSC to one Covie player. Also on a lot and around if needed so can help to monitor the new mission format a good bit. And as one of the main people that made player missions before I would be more than happy to help people fine tune or creature their own missions for the fun RP times.

Generally willing to help out around the site too, and more than happy to grade profiles if asked and set up smaller threads for practice RPin and the like.

Why do you want to be a mod?:
To better be allowed to help the members transition to this new RP format (That I'm all for), to join in staff discussions about possible staff missions we could have. All in all just try to help really - I am aware that Kill and myself have ahd some clashes in the past but I hope that we can either find a way to work around that, work through them, or hopefully remove the problems so we can work without them.

But I will admit the arguments we have had is an issue, and I understand if its too big of one for me now. Fine just being a member and doing the RP's then.
