Major Resku 'Te 'Verekee High Charity Simulation
"Quinn! Check the corner!" Resku called from afar, speaking his native tongue. Quinn quickly peaked his head around a corner, peering down a long corridor.
"Do you see anything, Brother?" Resku asked.
"The corridor is clear, Commander." Quinn replied.
"Move up." Resku spoke, cutting the corner with the rest of the Lance.
They swiftly and silently moved down the large corridor. It was mainly two giant blocks, roofless, that were placed beside each other, with a large enough space between them to fit quite a few Sangheili. These two giant blocks were one of many that were scattered around, making up most of the maze-like arena. They were dark blue, with purple lines and dots of light etched into them, illuminating them as well as the places around them. Above the roofless maze and arena, one could see the large, hollow, and bulbous sphere roof of High Charity itself that made everyone feel so tiny and insignificant compared to the gigantic Holy City. Resku was in awe as he looked above.
He stopped running midway through the corridor as the rest of the Lance moved ahead. He looked above, and was in awe as he looked toward's the Holy City's roof. It wasn't as flawless and breath-taking as the rest of the Holy City, but it's architecture was definitely to be noted. It's bright lights, etched into the very armored roof itself, illuminated almost everything. It was truly beautiful.
Resku quickly refocused on the situation at hand and snapped back to reality. He caught up with the Lance and took cover behind a large rectangular barrier. It wasn't tall enough to hide the Sangheili, so they had to crouch behind it to be fully covered. Resku looked towards Kyre.
"Look above, tell me what you see." Resku commanded.
Kyre peaked her head over the cover, looking forward at a watchtower not far from their position. At it's top was a Sangheili sniper wielding a beam rifle, a Covenant weapon that earned it's reputation for being feared.
"Sharpshooter, wields a Beam Rifle. Area seems clear of anything else." Kyre spoke to Resku.
Resku peaked above the cover, and noticed the Sangheili Sharpshooter. He unholstered his Carbine and took aim. He zoomed in with his HUD to get a closer look at the Sangheili. He used the zoom in conjunction with his natural keenly magnified vision, allowing him to see even further past the HUD's zoom. He aimed for the Sharpshooter's chest, and fired.
The green round soared through the air, and landed exactly in the center of the Sharpshooter's chest. Suddenly, electricity arced all over the Sangheili from the point of impact. The Sangheili roared as the electricity intensified, shocking him into submission. The sounds of loud sprinting footsteps echoed across the arena. Resku's HUD's zoom went back to normal, as he looked around the larger area in front of him. This area seemed to be the center of the arena. It was much larger and was lined with corridors of various sizes, or doorways into larger rooms.
Hearing the footsteps, the entire Lance peaked over the cover, readying their weapons.
A large group of Sangheili stormed out from multiple entrances. The Lance opened fire immediately, and were near-instantaneously getting return fire. Resku personally subdued three Sangheili before being forced to duck behind cover. Plasma soared over Resku's head, zipping past the Lance members. Kera took a shot straight to the chest and was launched backwards as electricity began to engulf and subdue her.
The rest of the Lance began ducking behind cover, but not before suppressing the opposition behind their own cover as well. Resku looked over the barrier, and took aim once more, as did most of the Lance. Bodies upon bodies were laying on the ground, shrouded with electricity. The Lance had taken out many of the Sangheili opposition.
But that wasn't the end of it. More Sangheili peaked around their cover and opened fire. A bolt of plasma flew past Resku's head, flying down the long corridor. Resku returned fire with his Carbine, managing to land a shot on the Sangheili's helmet, sending it to the ground as electricity subdued it. One after another of the Sangheili fell as the Lance overwhelmed them. Soon they began retreating. Once the area was cleared, the Lance members vaulted over their barrier that served as excellent cover.
Looking at the Watchtower from earlier, Resku got an idea.
"Vral, scale the tower, take the Sharpshooter's Beam Rifle, and provide covering fire for us." Resku spoke.
The watchtower was a large upright rectangular prism. It showed no signs of stairs or anything that could be used to get to the top. Instead, smaller rectangular cubes dotted all four sides of the tower, implying that you would have to climb to get to the top. Vral quickly made haste, and in no time, got to the structure and began climbing.
The rest of the Lance went down a Corridor, until they arrived in another open area. The area was directly in the Watchtower's killzone. The area seemed empty. Resku cautiously stepped out in the open. Resku was startled as he heard the familiar sound of a Beam Rifle. He looked to his right to see a Sangheili standing there, aiming his Plasma Rifle at Resku. The Sangheili dropped in a kneeling position as electricity made him submit. He looked at the Watchtower to see Vral at the top with the Beam Rifle. They gave a quick nod to each other and Resku ran through a doorway. This time it was a small room, filled with a vast amount of barriers that could be used for cover.
At the same time, Resku noticed bodies along the floor. Subdued Sangheili that his Lance didn't take out. This was very, very strange. His Lance followed him in the room and took cover behind the barriers. Resku was stunned as he saw Honor Guards across the room, walking around, as if they were searching for someone. Kyre quickly pulled him down behind cover.
"What are they doing here?!" Kyre asked in a whisper.
"Maybe it's part of the simulation training." Resku replied.
"We don't stand a chance!"
"You don't know that. They sent in the best for a reason. Let's give them everything we've got." Resku said, peering over the barrier as he aimed his Carbine at the Honor Guards. The rest of the Lance readied their weapons and took aim. This was about to be one Hell of a fight.
OOC: Tin, you take control of the Honor Guards from here. Whoop the Lance's ass while you're at it. Then escort Resku to Kubar after the show's done. xD

Honor guard Kinjar' Tulonee High Charity Simulation Kinjar pushed down on the struggling minor, this being a training exercise, there were many files, some instructors, others minors. Even the mix of on duty warriors getting practice. That was actually why they were here currently, looking for a Major Resku 'Verekee, among these welps. Kinjar fired a shot into the minor he was pinning and electricity crackled along it's armor, causing it's mandibles to snap open and close, as he roared in pain. Kinjar removed his boot and scanned across the open room they were in. He had a trained eye for combat, before becoming an honor guard he was a zealot, and a seasoned one. Though he had been part of the navy, he still had beyond exceptional skill in ground combat. He caught a glint, hiding behind a barricade and tightened his mandibles with pleasure. "There." he hissed, nodding his head towards the barricade. Suddenly green energy flew over his head and he leaned back and seemed to almost offer himself, letting out a bellowing roar of rage and defiance. Suddenly, the four other honor guards roared to, before returning fire. Kinjar was wielding a plasma rifle, but he reached down to his side and drew the training blade, flicking the stunning prongs to life before diving into cover. "Flank!" he roared, his troops not needing much direction as they all worked well together. Razz stood from his own cover and began to fire at the lance of welps, knocking one of them back with a solid bolt to the chest, earning a yell of pain as it clasped at it's chest. Zinpool was the next one to throw himself into combat, vaulting over a barricade while firing his carbine one handed. The bolts of energy forced the younglings down and gave Kinjar the space he needed to move in. Kinjar leapt from cover and bolted into the welp's line, vaulting their barricade and landing right in their midst. To the minor's credit they managed to stay moderately calm, but they still fumbled as he sliced the electric blade across their harness, earning them an even worse shock as Kinjar was able to access the weapon's settings, being as high a rank as he was, and set them to high. The result was an explosive shock that knocked the minor back into his comrades. With their focus suddenly on Kinjar, Zinppol, Razz, and Amadius were able to move up. It was a grave mistake for the minors, and Kinjar noted that their major was still leading and fighting, he was just simply given to fresh of warriors. Kinjar's file fell into them and the fighting became harsh, kicks, punches, even headbutts as they beat the younger warriors into submission. Each time one hit the ground he was quickly hit with a bolt of energy, or a cut of Kinjar's blade. Kinjar picked up one of the welps, having attached his rifle to his hip, and threw him into the last two warriors. With the major pinned under two of his own, Kinjar stepped forward and stabbed his blade, causing all of their vests to activate and shock them in mass. After letting them suffer a bit Kinjar pulled his blade back and deactivated it. "Resku, the Light of Sangheilios demands your attention." He helped the major up and gave him a bit of time to talk to his lance. Once the Major was ready, Kinjar and his file lead him away from the training field, storing their gear back in the armory and moving to one of the grav tunnels. The traveled in silence, not saying any thing to Resku as they brought him to the Honor Guard Ultra's office. After a long while they finally came to a halt deep in the heart of high charity, where they lead Resku to a door. Once there they turned and walked away, but not before alerting the Ultra. Kubar 'Hidohai High Charity Simulation Kubar had been watching the entire battle from the feed in his office, watching as his son was cut down by his warriors, but it did not cause him upset. Instead he felt a twang of pride in his hearts as he watched his own flesh and blood keep a calm head and attempt to lead his warriors, they were simply pitted against a superior enemy, and had this been real combat, Kubar is certain they would have died honorably. Kubar had kept track of his son as soon as he had found out that Latryn was of child. He remembered when he first saw her, and how his breath had been stolen from his lungs. She was stunning, and her personality alone had drawn him to her. He had taken her, and she had allowed it, but because of his status, or because of himself, he didn't know. Either way he had been a general at the time, and had used his status to keep track of her, as well as a few other females. Kubar did not dare interfere with his child's life while he grew, but as a grown warrior, Kubar had to meet his spawn. Resku would be the first, and Kubar would not let on to him being his father. Finally Kinjar alerted Kubar to Resku's arrival before returning to his duties. Sending Kinjar was as much a favor for him as it was for Kubar. Kinjar could become just as antsy about sitting around as Kubar was, except Kubar had busy work to handle as a Light of Sangheilios, which managed to at least occupy his time. He waited a moment, then spoke as he opened his door from the panel at his console. "Enter." He boomed, his commanding voice matching his towering nine-foot figure as he drummed on his desk. He currently had his helmet off, resting on the custom stand at his desk. Behind him was a metal statue of one of the Hidoh kaidon's that Kubar had read of, and respect greatly. "Sit." he said after allowing Resku to follow the honor of saluting him with a claw to the chest.

Resku 'Te 'Verekee High Charity Simulation
Resku growled in anger, missing his intended shot. He had fired his Carbine, but it only flew above his target's head. Resku ducked down as a volley of plasma fire erupted above him. His Lance returned fire, but Zoka quickly took a bolt to the chest, and yelled in pain as he lurched backwards. Vral appeared behind Resku, ready to join the fight. They both aimed over the barricade and began suppressing fire.
However an Honor Guard vaulted over covering and fired it's Carbine, forcing the Lance down as it got closer. Another Honor Guard, the one that seemed to be leading the small group, vaulted over their barricade and began cutting down the Lance.
"Stand your ground!" Resku yelled to the Lance, as he landed a shot in an Honor Guard's chest, as they attempted to vault over the barricade. Resku was surprised. He managed to take down an Honor Guard.
His Lance members managed to stay calm for the most part, but one after another they were cut down by the Honor Guard group's leader. The stunning prongs were incredibly effective in such close quarters. An Honor Guard quickly grabbed Resku, and landed a punch in his right manibles. Resku retaliated with a quick headbutt, stunning both momentarily. Resku, backing up as he was dazed, accidentally bumped Kyre and found himself back to back with her.
Resku turned to see Vral getting picked up by the Honor Guard group's leader. Resku had little time to react as Vral was thrown towards Kyre and him. All three tumbled to the ground, and managed to land in a dogpile position on top of Resku, keeping him pinned.
Swish went the Honor Guard's blade.
Resku suddenly felt a painful shocking sensation as all three were enshrouded with electricity. As the others let out cries of pain, Resku would not give the Honor Guards satisfaction. He attempted to shove the weakened Minors off of him, and crawled on his hangs and knees towards the Honor Guard group's leader. As painful as it was, Resku attempting to get to his feet, quickly fell back down at the Honor Guards' feet. The group quickly surrounded him in a semi-circle.
On his stomach, Resku continued to crawl towards the group's leader, but the pain was just too much, too unbearable. For what felt like the most painful moment of his left, he tried to keep his cries of agony from slipping out. However, after almost half a minute, he succumbed. He raised his head high, but he could only raise it high enough to see the group leader's face, and he let out a loud roar of pain, louder than the entire Lance combined, as the electricity enveloped and danced all over him.
After extinguishing all of his energy in that final roar of pain, he let his head thump onto the ground with a loud thud. Soon the electricity stopped, and the pain ceased. Resku felt so weak... He could barely move.
"Resku, the Light of Sanghelios demands your attention." The leader said.
"As you wish..." Resku said in his native tongue, as the leader helped Resku to his feet.
The leader parted for a minute, allowing Resku time to talk to his Lance.
"For fresh bloods, you all did well today. We faced an unexpected enemy, and you fought them with bravery and valor. I am extremely pleased, and proud of you all. I find it an honor to have you all in my Lance." Resku spoke, raising the Lance's morale.
"Continue your training without me, for now." Resku commanded, the Lance obeying.
After Resku was done speaking, he went with the Honor Guards to the armory, storing his equiment there, and then followed them up a gravity lift. They traveled in silence on their trip to the Light of Sanghelios' office. It gave a sense of nervousness but relief to Resku. He did not want to seem weak by having a desire to start conversation. They were Honor Guards, and he was a mere Major, what would they talk about anyway?
The trip was long, and silenced engulfed the group, though, Resku did hear civilians conversing as they walked the numerous streets of High Charity to get to their destination. It was such a busy place. Eventually, the Honor Guards led Resku to a door, which he patiently waited by. The Honor Guards turned and walked away.
The door opened soon afterwards, as a loud voice, that of an experienced commander, spoke "Enter."
Resku did as commanded. He entered the office, and noticed the figure sitting at the desk. It was the Light of Sanghelios that had requested his presence. Before even looking around the office, he put his right hand over the left side of his chest above his heart, his Grassland claws clearly sticking out, touching the shoulder armor gently, and kneeled before the Light of Sanghelios, giving the Sangheili salute.
"Sit." The Light of Sanghelios said. Resku obliged, and sat in a hovering chair, in front of the Light of Sanghelios' desk.
"You wished for my presence, sire?" Resku asked in his native tongue.

Kubar 'Hidohai High Charity Pride Kubar studied the young sangheili as he entered the office. It was well decorated with many ancient weapons, and carvings of stone and metal. All of them depicted different moment's in the clan Hidoh's history, many great victories, and a few somber defeats, all of them to remind Kubar of his many reasons for his devotion to the covenant. Once the major was seated Kubar simply stared at him, trying to take in who this major was. He had his mother's traits, claws and skin, but he obviously had Kubar's stature. The young major was just short of Kubar himself and Kubar had to dull the throbbing pride of his hearts. Kubar was a bit more muscled, not surprising given how sangheili age, but Kubar was sure that if Resku was as trained as himself, he'd be a hard creature to fight. Kubar suddenly rose to his feat and came around the desk, keeping a hard look on his features as to not give away his pride. He hooked a finger into the harness's collar that the major wore and tugged him to his feat, not roughly, but with purpose. Once the major was standing Kubar moved the chair away so that he could examine the youngling. Kubar noted the long scar on the sangheili's face and nodded, more to himself than Resku, but it showed Kubar that Resku was indeed not new to combat. Kubar walked around the major, noting the harness and it's condition, as well as the fact that Resku did not carry a blade. Kubar wasn't surprised, not many made it to swordsmen before at least becoming an ultra. Kubar finally pulled the chair back over for Resku and sat back down, dismissively waving his claw to tell Resku to sit again. "I've read your file, Major. And I think that it's...acceptable. You have shown enough skill to get to this point, so obviously you are not utterly incompetent. And while I watched your combat today you showed exceptional leadership. My concern is your tenacity, can you curb your holy fury? Can you wield it as effective as my honor-guardsmen wield their blades?" Kubar sat back steapled his claws, the Prophet of Pitty's mannerisms bleeding through into Kubars.

Resku 'Te 'Verekee High Charity Resku took what small time he had and looked around the office, noticing many ancient weapons, and carvings embedded in stone and metal, among other things. It was a well decorated office. Especially for a Light of Sanghelios. Resku then looked back at Kubar, who was just staring at him, observing him. Behind Kubar was a large, rectangular window with curved ends that ran the length of the wall behind Kubar. Through the window, a beautiful view of the city surrounding the Dreadnought could be seen. Towers of buildings decorated the place, lights illuminated the city very clearly. It was a wonder to behold. He was nearly startled from the sudden sound amongst the silence as Kubar rose from his seat and came around the desk, keeping his stare on Resku. He then hooked a finger onto Resku's harness collar and tugged him off the hover chair and onto his feat, though not roughly. After getting to his feet, the Light of Sanghelios had moved the chair away, and examined Resku. He then began walking around the Major, examining his harness. After moments of silence, Kubar gave Resku back the chair, allowing him to sit back down once more. " I've read your file, Major. And I think that it's...acceptable. You have shown enough skill to get to this point, so obviously you are not utterly incompetent. And while I watched your combat today you showed exceptional leadership. My concern is your tenacity, can you curb your holy fury? Can you wield it as effective as my honor-guardsmen wield their blades?" Resku heard Kubar said after he himself sat back down. "A better question would be, will I? The answer to that is yes, sire. I will, rather than can. Pardon me if I spoke unintentionally rudely, excellency." Resku spoke, as he looked at Kubar.

Kubar 'Hidohai High Charity Pride Kubar waited for his spawn to respond, and when finally Resku spoke Kubar's brow rose in surprise at his answer. "A better question would be, will I? The answer to that is yes, sire. I will, rather than can." Kubar's heart's skipped a beat as his son's words carved into his mind. Resku was indeed confident, a trait Kubar prided himself on. However, the arrogance that hung over his words caused him to stay focused, and not allow his own prejudice to over shadow his teaching. "Pardon me if I spoke unintentionally rudely, excellency." The youngling added. Kubar rose to his feat again and came around the desk, saying nothing, before rearing his arm back and striking the major, hard across the mandibles, not holding back even for his son. "You have spoken out of turn, and you have tarnished yourself in your strife." Kubar said with ice as he went over to stare out the window into High Charity. "However..." he finally said, turning back to face Resku "Your confidence and vigor are noted, and your potential is not lost upon the Minor Prophet." Kubar sat at his desk again and brought up the data he had been going over before this meeting. He tapped a glyph and suddenly a battle field appeared upon his desk. It was a dusty planet, with harsh white sand and rock, all of it seemingly barren. The only sign of life was the raging combat that was taking place over a valley. It had a single large bridge covering the gap between both sides, and multiple barriers and vehicles were blocking any direct route across. Humans had taken to defending one side, using anti-air emplacements to stop any sort of landing. The Covenant troops were forced to fight their way across the massive structure, having to root out the humans at every turn, and the bridge was easily the size of a town, with multiple buildings along it's narrow roads. Kubar gave Resku time to study the map before finally speaking "This is the human planet Blu, though the name is of little importance. It has been a difficult stalemate, and the hierarchs refuse to glass the planet for their own reasons. We will test you, and see your ability." Kubar leaned forward to stare into Resku's eyes, his black eyes seeming to pierce through the major. "Make no mistake, Major. You will be commanding the lives of real warriors, and if you fail, their deaths are your burden." Kubar turned in his chair to be looking out the window again. "The information on your warrior roster, and on the battlefield have already been sent to you. Look them over and be prepared, we leave tomorrow. You are dismissed."

Resku 'Te 'Verekee High Charity Round Two A moment of silenced ensured after Resku finish, but it was quickly broken with a smack to the mandible from Kubar. His head twisted to the side in a near 90 degrees, and a crack could be heard as his mandible bones popped. Resku turned his head back towards Kubar. As much as the strike hurt, he wouldn't give in and show weakness. He kept the pain inside rather than yelping out like a whelp. He didn't even raise a hand to clutch his mandibles, which were throbbing with pain. " You have spoken out of turn, and you have tarnished yourself in your strife." Kubar said, walking over to the window to stare out into High Charity. " However..." Kubar turned to face Resku. " Your confidence and vigor are noted, and your potential is not lost upon the Minor Prophet." Kubar said, taking a seat at his desk and brought up some data that Resku immediately took notice to, and found rather interesting. Resku watched Kubar tap a gluph, and a battlefield appeared on his desk. Resku saw what appeared to be a dusty planet, dominated by barren white sand and rock. However, there was a large battle taking place over a valley. Resku could see a single large bridge covering a gap between both sides, and multiple barriers and vehicles were blocking direct routes across. The Humans were defending one side, with anti-air emplacements stopping Covenant forces from landing. From what Resku could see, the Covenant were being forced to fight their way across the massive bridge, which was easily the size of a town, many buildings littering along it's narrow roads. " This is the human planet Blu, though the name is of little importance. It has been a difficult stalemate, and the hierarchs refuse to glass the planet for their own reasons. We will test you, and see your ability" Kubar said as he stared into Resku's eyes. Resku could feel them pierce through into his very soul. " Make no mistake, Major. You will be commanding the lives of real warriors, and if you fail, their deaths are your burden." Kubar turned his chair to be looking out the window. " The information on your warrior roster, and on the battlefield have already been sent to you. Look them over and be prepared, we leave tomorrow. You are dismissed." Resku left the office and building, and retraced his steps back to the simulation. He had until tomorrow, so he might as well as continue his training. Once he was finish, he would head to the barracks to review the newly attained information. He approached the simulation console, and tapped a few glyphs. For now he wanted to face holograms, train by himself. Later he would gather his Lance and face live opponents once more. Possibly request a rematch with the Honor Guards from earlier, as suicidal as it was. Entering the maze-like arena, he readied his weapon, and walked forward, ready for anything.

Honor guard Kinjar' Tulonee High Charity Simulation
Kinjar had left the Light of Sangheilios to his work, and instead had returned to his own quarters. He spent the next hour studying the current state of his clan, trying to keep up to date for when he returned. He had just read about the attempt that had been made on his Kaidon, when suddenly the deep voice of Kubar sprang from the consul across from Kinjar. "Kinjar..." Kubar said, knowing full well where the honor guardsmen was. "Yes, commander?" Kinjar said as he rose to his feet and moved to the silver screen. "Follow Major Resku. We've seen his ability to lead, test his combat skills...personally." The screen cut, Kubar not waiting for Kinjar's retort and Kinjar did not flinch, feeling no anger at this, he knew his place. Kinjar sighed before donning a commando combat harness, moving from his quarters and onto one of the gravity lifts. He normally used the transit between parts of High Charity to study and marvel at the gods' blessings, but on this day he instead was focusing on his task. He wanted to test the Major's ability in multiple areas. He had seen how Resku lead, but not directly how he fought, and multiple ranges. He would test the Major, pushing him to the edge of his limits, before finally breaking him. Kinjar knew that Kubar had some sort of tie to the Major, but Kinjar didn't know what. Either way Kinjar knew that Kubar wanted this warrior ready for any sort of trial that may lay before him. As soon as Kinjar's boots touched the metal of the deck he moved quickly to the armory. He scooped up a plasma rifle, allowing it to clasp to his leg snuggley. After the rifle he took a carbine from it's resting place and snapped it to his back, making sure to take a banodlier of canisters and strapping them across from his chest, and from the rack in the locked section of the armory Kinjar scooped up one of the training blades, inspecting it and then increasing it's output. Finally, he took the commando helmet from the bench and slotted it onto his head. Kinjar waited until the current holo-match was over before stepping onto the platform that would lower him onto the field. He did a quick check of his equipment as he descended, not wanting to make any mistakes. Once the lift finally stopped moving Kinjar walked forward with confidence, head held high as he looked at the larger sangheili. "Major, we've fought once, as leaders. Now we fight as warriors." He said simply, crossing his arms and looking up "Are you ready?"

Resku 'Te Verekee High Charity Mopping the Floor (feat. Malevolence Lance) As Resku finished the match with the Holodrones, the arena began shifting into a Colosseum-like fashion. The metal floor and walls glowed with the embedded purple lights etched into them. The walls were tall and could be considered imitating. No matter. Resku was ready for anything at this point. "New arrivals: Malevolence Lance. Now engaging Hand-to-Hand combat." The announcer said. All eight members of Malevolence Lance, excluding Resku, dropped down into the arena. They descended in via Lifts that circled the entire arena, so they surrounded Resku. Resku readied himself, assuming a defensive stance. It was about time he got to prove his skills in martial arts. "Energy Daggers authorized." The announcer spoke. A few Malevolence Lance members proceeded to activate their wrist-bound Energy Daggers. After a few moments of brief stare downs, Malevolence charged. Vral attempted to throw the first punch, however Resku caught his arm with his left hand, used the momentum to pull Vral towards him, and slammed his fist into Vral’s stomach. Letting go of his arm, Resku watched as the force of his fist caused Vral to be launched backwards onto the floor. Resku turned and smacked away an incoming fist from Zoka, as he attempted to punch Resku. He then swung his fist in a left hook arc. As it connected to his mandibles, Zoka’s entire body turned to expose his back to Resku as his head twisted one way. Using this opportunity, Resku wrapped his arms around Zoka’s waist, and arched his back as he lifted him in the air. He twisted his body right, removing his right hand from Zoka’s waist, and used his left hand, now on Zoka’s stomach, to slam him into the ground. Ryl quickly approached Resku. As he attempted one strike after another, Resku blocked with his forearms, until he found an opening. He grabbed the top of Ryl’s training harness at his chest, and grabbed the bottom of the training harness at the crotch-guard, lifted Ryl into the air, and threw him at Lyther. Ryl slammed into Kabal, sending both onto the floor. Zoka got on his hands and knees, and Reksu watched as he attempted to get up. He walked towards Zoka and slammed his foot into Zoka’s stomach with enough force to launch him on his back, and crack a few ribs.. He approached the weakened Zoka, clutching his stomach. He knelt down, and swiftly knocked Zoka out with a single strike to the head. Resku turned his head towards Fyra, who was now sprinting towards him. She threw a punch, however Resku caught it with his hand. She threw another, and Resku again caught it. Resku then jump-kicked her, letting go of her fists, and launched her far back. Despite the pain she was experiencing, she got back up, activated her energy daggers, and charged forward. Resku ducked as she raised her dagger and slashed diagonally downward. He then jumped backwards as she slashed horizontally. Resku rolled forward into a kneeling position. He activated his energy daggers, slashed one across her belly, and the other across her legs. Shocking electricity arced across her and brought her to her knees. Resku stabbed at her chest with an Energy Dagger, launching her backwards. As she fell onto her back, the electricity that engulfed her shocked her into submission, and hastily incapacitated her into unconsciousness. Looking at Vral, who was now back on his feet, Resku put himself in a defensive stance and taunted him to attack. Resku used his forearm to smack away the first strike, however, he left himself open to a second. Resku felt his mandibles clench as Vral landed a punch across his face. Vral made one strike after another, ending with an uppercut. Resku stumbled backwards, momentarily dazed. Resku looked up to see Vral’s fist once again coming towards him. This time, however, he caught it, and pulled Vral to him like their first encounter. But this time, he grabbed for Vral’s throat with a death grip. Letting go of his arm and lifting him into the air, Resku turned around and threw Vral at an incoming Quinn. Both smacked into the ground from such force. Resku sprinted towards Vral as he attempted to get up, and planted a foot firmly on Vral’s back to keep him in a kneeling position. He then grabbed both of Vral’s arms, and kicked his firmly planted foot into Vral’s back. Vral was launched forward, his arms dislocating as Resku held his them back. Letting go of Vral’s arms, Resku kicked him in the back again, sending him face-planting into unconsciousness from the unbearable pain. Resku stood there too long, trying to regain his stamina. He felt a fist collide with the side of his mandibles, and he was sent face-first into the ground, landing on his side. As he got back up into a kneeling position, he saw Quinn’s fist come straight him. He caught it with his hand, and twisted Quinn’s arm as Resku slowly rose to his feet. The pain caused Quinn to fall to his knees. Resku then raised a fist with his other arm, and plunged it into Quinn’s face, causing him to smash into the ground onto his back. He used his foot to wiggle Quinn’s body, but he wasn’t getting it. It was clear he was knocked out. Resku looked up and readied himself. The four remaining members had gathered and planned to assault Resku together. As Ryl closed in, Resku blocked the first few strikes Ryl attempted. Seeing an opened, he slammed his fist into Ryl’s mandibles with a right hook arc, followed by a left hook arc. He then slammed his elbow downwards, forcing Ryl’s head down. Then, he performed an uppercut, snapping Ryl’s head up. He then kicked Ryl in the just, launching him backwards onto Lyther. Lyther attempted to get a incapacitated Ryl off of him, but he was pinned. Resku looked up towards Kyre and Vyn who were now closing in on him. Kyre activated an energy dagger and slashed at Resku, however, Resku caught his forearm. Activating the energy dagger on his other wrist, Resku slashed at Kyre’s stomach, shocking him backwards as Resku let go of his forearm. Activating both energy daggers, Resku continued to slash Kyre, until he was shocked into submission and incapacitated. He then charged at Vyn, who attempted to block Resku’s strikes one after another. Seeing an opening, Vyn pressed the attack on Resku and began striking him, putting him on the defensive. He managed to get a few good hits, and Resku retreated into a kneeling position, luring Vyn to him. As Vyn got closer to finish him, Resku performed a leg sweep and sent Vyn onto his back. He then crawled on top of Vyn and began pounding his face left and right with his fists, until he was knocked out and incapacitated. Resku snapped his head at Lyther, who finally managed to crawl out from under Ryl. Saving his energy, Resku began walking towards the slightly dazed Lyther. Lyther charged forward and threw his fist at Resku. Resku caught his fist, and pulled Lyther towards him. Grabbing his throat with his other hand, Resku let go of Lyther’s fist, and used his free arm to continuously smash his fist into Lyther’s face. After the weakened Lyther was put into a daze, he threw him into the ground, hard enough to make Lyther fall unconscious. Resku fell into a kneeling position, panting heavily, trying to regain his strength and stamina with a short rest. After a few moments, he got up. “Match over. Well done, Major Resku.” The announcer said. He turned his head and watched as several Sangheili carried the bodies of his incapacitated Lance out of the arena. He then heard the sound of another lift descending. “New arrival: Kinjar ‘Tulonee.” The announcer spoke. Resku turned his head to see the Honor Guard from earlier, and approached him. He held his hand to his chest, and kneeled with his head down. He rose again, and looked down at the shorter Sangheili. " Major, we've fought once, as leaders. Now we fight as warriors." Kinjar spoke, crossing his arms and looking up at Resku. “ Are you ready?” Drawing his Carbine and keeping the weapon down, Resku took a few steps backwards to get some distance between him and the Honor Guard. “ Show me what you’re worth.” Resku spoke in his native tongue, as the arena began changing into a randomized maze-like state. “Match begin.” The announcer said, as Resku raised his Carbine at Kinjar. He fired off several shots at the Sangheili, hoping to send him fleeing behind cover, before retreating behind a corner himself. He peaked his head around the corner to get a good look at the situation and where the Honor Guard was at, before pulling it back in case the opposing Sangheili took a shot at his head. Resku smiled. This match would likely be a lot tougher than the match with his Lance. And interesting, as well.
Some music to go along with this match and the one against Kinjar.
