Okay. Plain and simple, there was enough interest for a heretic faction to be voted on. Voting yes means you're willing to have a small group of playable heretic characters lead by someone on the staff team to interact in the role-play, overseen by Llau and myself ( MrKill) so it doesn't get out of hand. Realize that they're likely not going to be very numerous and would only command, as per the suggestions, a small former Covenant warship (CCS Class Battle Cruiser? Perhaps a Destroyer?). Voting no indicates you do not want to see playable heretic characters until the events leading up to the great schism to stay as close to canon during the human-covenant war as possible. Vote locks 16FEB15 so make sure you've voted before you can't! |

This is serious. It's something that a growing number of people want to see, and perhaps its time we expanded from straight UNSC vs Covenant to a big Herectic-UNSC-Covenant mashup. Im for it.

It's something that a growing number of people want to see, and perhaps its time we expanded from straight UNSC vs Covenant to a big Herectic-UNSC-Covenant mashup. Im for it. I dunno about a big mashup...I personally want to see it remain small. I want to see Heretics use different tactics; assymetrical warfare. Guerrilla stuff, hit the Covenant when they aren't expecting it, then pull out when things get heavy. They shouldn't be trying conventional stuff. |

I wouldn't mind the presence of a heretic faction, small-scale missions that perform a more unconventional form of roleplay than the two main-players, perhaps temper the overwhelming spacial superiority of the Covenant over the UNSC slightly by being a thorn in their sides, logistically speaking.
