Just a fun writing experiment that I've been thinking about for awhile, may be adding in more missions if I think of nice ones.
I'll be posting when I add/finish missions - this is so I hopefully have more reason to actually work on it. I would be very interested to hear what you guys think of the set-up and things like that however, I tried to have his recruitment make as much sense as possible in the universe.

2574; ONI Primary Base Bravo 6.
Sydney - Earth.

The following operation reports are the known, classified and public knowledge, missions of the T'vaoan known as Tex. The first registered Alien member of ONI that was not a prisoner. Tex, known as Officer Tex when his existence became public knowledge, was born on the small Covenant controlled planet of Pure of Heart(Renamed New Arcadia when the UNSC took control) exactly six years(2547) before the cease-fire in 2553. New Arcadia is situated in the outer colonies, within a short ship journey to a glassed world. The world remained in the shattered control of the Covenant until 2563, when a small fleet under the orders of Admiral Osman, subjugated the planet after a brief struggle with the one remaining Covenant ship in the sector. Looking back on the report it is good that they took translators with them or ONI would have missed an important venture.
The planet was an entirely Kig-Yar dominated living space with a force of Sangheili stationed there to keep the peace. When the Covenant ship was destroyed the Sangheili force all committed suicide, the Kig-Yar telling us that it was to stop their honor falling any further. When UNSC forces landed in force the Kig-Yar were quick to surrender themselves as there was no advanced weaponry on the planet. Records salvaged from the Sangheili command building explained that the planet was essentially a breeding ground for troops. The Kig-Yar explained that they found this out two years ago and had been trying to find a time to overthrow the Sangheili since then. As such they were actually welcoming of the Human forces and many even expressed an interest to join and fight against the Sangheili.
It was soon apparent that this world had been kept in the dark as they were unaware that the war had even ended, and only knew of Humans from the direction oft he Sangheili prison wardens. Admiral Osman and the other ONI officers saw this as a perfect opportunity to see if Aliens were willing to take an active role in the UNSC military and as such accepted the Kig-Yar's desire to help.
Tex was just a young adult, sixteen, when the Humans landed, and video recording from the ships show that the T'vaoan stood and watched the ships as the UNSC moved about the city and no-one else stood around him. Further examination of the video show that he was one of the first to approach the UNSC Marines, ignoring the gun barrels pointed at him, and offer his services. While initially rejected when the order came from Admiral Osman to select a sample group he was the first contacted and taken from New Arcadia as the UNSC worked to improve the city to gain favor with the Kig-Yar.
As of now, 2574, New Arcadia is now a flourishing trade city with its capital of Eyan's Jewel. A common refueling and trade stop in the outer colony ring. While the population is predominantly Kig-Yar many Human's live there as well or in the cities surrounding the capital. A few Jiralhanae have also been hired to work in the city to keep it from just being buildings as 'nature consultants', but Sangheili are forbade from living on the planet by the current Commodore of the capital - but there have been reports that her son may rescind that decree when he comes into power. The planet gets regular shipments from Eyan and its asteroids so it can build itself up more and is welcoming to Humans off all walks of life. But their punishments for crime are considered by many to be 'unethical'.
Tex; male - T'vaoan breed of Kig-Yar. Just over six feet tall when standing upright, predominated dull grey feathers and yellow eyes. Tex's family was unknown, as when prompted to share that information during his interview on New Arcadia said nothing, and knowing this was a delicate situation he was not pressed about the issue. But looking into the Sangheili records ONI found that his mother was a consort to the then Commodore of the Kig-Yar enclave and his father worked under the Sangheili has an enforcer. The father was killed and eaten, as was the current Commodore, as a show of change when the Sangheili wardens killed themselves and his mother disappeared soon after, but resurfaced after the UNSC had committed to assisting the city as a speaker for her people. The family also had one younger sister, and from continued monitoring of the city its been found that Pavo is working in banking now as an apprentice. It can be assumed that Tex left to get away from the stigma of his family being Sangheili lovers, as he also cast aside the clan name of his father, Net, when he joined the UNSC.
Agent Seline, current overseer of Operation 'Switcheroo', to convert the aliens to our cause - was the one that selected Tex to be moved to working not with the UNSC but with ONI ourselves. When offered, and explained that ONI was the Intelligence branch of the UNSC, Tex agreed almost immediately. Pleasing Seline quite a lot as the T'vaoan was transported to the planet Oban for training and conditioning.
