The Adventures of Ice Runner

Issue #1
"The Adventures of Ice Runner follows the story of London’s Adam Fyers. The 19 year old decides to go on a university trip to the Antarctic. Adam and a small student team are working on a device that could potentially predict weather within months at a time. Whilst being on the survey ship on the edge of an iced land mess, the weather takes a change for the worst, a thunderstorm appears. The ship starts to break apart after smashing into so many icebergs and Adam falls off the side of the ship. He grabs onto the ledge but his university college comes over to try and rescue him. He fails and Adam falls onto the land mass. With the ice and snow enveloping around him, the land then gets struck by lightning and in turn strikes Fyers. Adam goes unconscious and lies there for days. He then wakes up in a survey station bed. Alive. As he gets back to the main land and then recovers he realises that he has extraordinary powers. He realises he can run faster than a jet, he can control water and turn it into ice and he can make ice appear from almost anything. As Adam struggles to come to terms with his new abilities, he realises he can’t just do nothing as things aren’t the same as they once were. As crime becomes worse than ever in London he must make a decision, whether to use his new found powers to help people and use them for good or use them for his own personal gain. “
