Anyway, I'm wanting to do a UNSC Marine boot camp RP thread called "Boot Camp Chronicles." I'd prefer to have a decent number of players in it. It'll start from the beginning of Boot Camp when the recruits arrive at the recruit depot (training base) to the end of boot (with some time skips here and there). If people would find this interesting, then here's what I need. I'll be playing the Senior Drill Instructor, Staff Sergeant Adrian Wolf. I need two other players to play the assistant drill instructors that will help train the recruits. Everyone else will play the recruits. They'll be the bulk of the thread's players. Recruits will get the opportunity to be squad leaders, platoon guides, etc. as training goes on. If y'all are interested, lemme know below and state whether you want to play a DI or a recruit. I was trying to get hold of rookie425 last night to reboot an RP he used to run (a while ago) where several people, of many ages, joined Reach's Colonial Militia. You'll need a lot of people for it to be fun though. If you get quite a few, I'll be up for this.

As Astro said, I used to run an RP in which everyone played Militia recruits on Reach. It stagnated because of a couple reasons; not a lot of people to begin with, and general lack of originality with characters. People either joined in as already-skilled individuals who performed better than everyone or they tossed someone in, gave them the "I want to be an ODST" goal, and then tried to coast them through the boot stage until graduation. If you would be okay with it, I would like to roleplay a DI, Staff Sergeant Gabe Kawolski. I might make a recruit to go along with it, but we'll see how it goes first.
