Characters and Factions Involved: UNSC, Christopher Hyde, Sgt Krystine Young

Mission Description: What: Sgt Young is acting Taxi for Oni Scientist Christopher Hyde. Where: UNSC Iowa to an unnamed prowler. When: Right before mission 7 November 2547. Why: Christopher Hyde was interviewing combatants about their interactions with the Sangheili so as to further his own research. Just for kicks thouygh, lets throw in a dead Sangheili body! Please go into detail about the mission description and the additional information. Why are you moving this ONI into space. What's the importance of transporting this spook. Why isn't ONI picking him up. Just would like a few more details

I figured such things would be classified. This is really supposed to be a 1v1 with mine and Faclons character talking. He is ONI and gave me the setting. It seemed basic enough to not cause any problems. Supposed to be a Cake run so to speak, not being horribly impacting of the story while still existing, which is why the template is so bare. However if that isn't a valid reason I can certainly try to flesh it out a bit more.

As a social thread, you don't need as much information (though keep in mind combat is prohibited) as it won't significantly alter the time-line that is present our own canon running parallel with the Halo-universe lore. Obviously, if you want the material classified, that's okay. However, we'd like what that 'material' is known even though -- in character -- we'd have no idea what it is other than ONI agents and the Security Council.

As I said in the CBox, fill in the five W's. I won't list them as I'm sure you know what they are, but I suggest talking to Faclan about fleshing the mission out. I know you're looking for a one person to another conversation type of RP with a long flight in between, so there are details you could add. Right of the bat I notice a few things:

You could mention the date and year of the RP. We allow flashbacks during a specific year (2547) and we also allow the user missions to advance a couple of months after the current 'Unit Missions' or 'Main Missions', which are the most 'up to date' (In terms of when) combat missions a member can participate in unless otherwise approved by the staff (See Draken's/Yappas Cat's mission, which has been accepted because the UNSC Unit Mission is ended when the Covenant and ONI ones continue.)

Another would be where does the story take place? Is there a specific star system, are you in the middle of empty space between systems? Are you at a powerful industrial world in orbit with the Iowa? Keep in mind that the vessel is commanded by an Admiral who has a seat in Fleet Command at the garrison over Reach, so he's only going to be ferrying his vessel around to places he is needed or directly into combat.

Another detail could be potential dangerous situations to spice up the RP a little bit, like your instrument on your pelican shorting out and causing an electrical failure. Anyways, collaborate with Faclan if you want any juicy side events, but otherwise just try to fill in as much as you can without going overboard. This is, after all, a social thread.
