"So all a sudden some Spook needs a Taxi Ride, and they ask me to do it! Like my off time isn't precious enough right?" Sgt Krystine Young complained to one of the ground crew. They didn't care, and she really didn't expect them to honestly. "They just stroll on in, and think they run the damn place, well I got news for them! Can't just take a girls free time right before a mission because you need to take a damn gander off to a ONI Prowler. Did ya hear what they were gonna do to my baby? Wipe the records of the ships she boarded cause the damn thing is Classified" the short pilot muttered. She sat on one of the many crates surrounding her Pelican to watch the ground crew work.
"Ma'am? Where should I put this?" One of the crew men asked the slender woman, pointing to a crate. Krystine just rolled her eyes.
"No! Just put it back! I'm not going to need ammo for a 100,000 kilometer flight of the starboard of a Cruiser! Get your head out of your ass for Christ sake" She exclaimed, hopping off the crate and towards her ship. The ODST stepped into the back of the pelican and started doing a casual preflight check. Seats were nice and clean, no blood on the tray, racks were supplied nicely. Everything in the Crew Bay was set and ready for flight, so Krystine walked into the cockpit and made sure everything in there was in order. Her crew wasn't needed and she wasn't about to take there down time for a short flight.
The COM's screen had the usual tearing, even though she asked to get it fixed a billion times, but other than that all systems were operational. She did a check on the ships seals, closing the ship up and pressurizing it. When she was satisfied that the ship was ready to go, she opened up the hatch and sat on one of the seats, waiting for her "Cargo" to arrive.

Christopher Hyde ONI Section I Agent Currently transporting helpful notes and secret cargo.
Glancing down at his Tac-Pad to check the time Chris sure hoped that ONI wouldn't care that he was nearing on half a hour late at this point...as long as he got the cargo it should be ok right? But talking with the medical team took longer than expected, his own fault really but the info they had was needed by ONI. He just took to long asking them about their other interactions with the Covenant and got carried away. Rubbing his eyes a bit he kept walking as he pushed the cart loaded with the cryo-pod, the 'item' ONI had requested he get from the Iowa. Of course ONI would care, add another point to the invisible tally that he would never see of mess ups from him that one day they would hopefully never hold against him. Glancing down at the covered cryo-pod and the dead Sangheili inside it Chris had to wonder why this one was so important. He knew the figures for battles the UNSC took part in for causalities on both sides, couldn't they have just taken their pick from bodies from one of the many battles? But then again this was ONI, and he knew better than most people to both never question when you were told to go pick up something (a relatively simple assignment) and that there was a reason for it (even of it was just a test for him). But thankfully he finally arrived in the hanger.
It didn't take long to be directed to the pelican that would be taking him to the Prowler 'Moments notice' where he would drop off the item and then get briefed on his next assignment. The Pelicans pilot was also there, seated in the back, waiting for him. He really hoped he didn't keep her waiting too long as he stopped the cryo-pod at the bottom of the ramp leading into the troop bay and smiled at her, giving her a little salute as he made a stab at keeping the mood light.
"Agent Hyde Ma'am, requesting permission to come aboard?"

Sgt Krystine Young was really starting to get bored. This guys was taking his sweet ass time to get here and it was pissing her off. Thank the lord above that he finally decided to show, and with gifts it seems. She stood up and grabbed her helmet, holding it under her arm before looking the Agent up and down. "So, your the Spook who cut my free time short. You bring me a gift or something?" She asked, kicking the trolley on her walk down the ramp. She put her armored hand on the trolley handle. "Also, it's Sergeant. These dumb asses call me ma'am, I was hoping a spook would be smarter than that and know who their pilot was" She said, waving him onto the ship. "I've got the toy, you get on and get comfortable alright?" She asked, not yet taking the trolley out of Christopher's control.

Christopher Hyde ONI Section I Agent ...Great.
Well that sure took a turn to unpleasant fast.
His smile quickly turned into a more neutral semi frown face as he gripped the dolly with the cryo-pod on it tighter as she kicked it, not wanting the cargo to be damaged as she berated him for apparently being an ONI Agent and for being late. Only the second he would accept but her attitude right now was not conducive for anything. So to that end, still keeping tight hold of the dolly, he shifted to the side a little to clearly show off the Lieutenant rank insignia on his shoulder and began talking.
"Sergeant Young, if you would go and get your Pelican ready to take off - I would prefer not to have to write up this operation as problematic. I'll take the cargo and get situated - and there is no need for that kind of aggressive name calling. We're all Humans here." His eyes behind his glasses had narrows a bit as he shifted the cart and pushed it into the troop bay. Working on lashing it to a seat so it wouldn't move around during transport, trying to not look at Young as he worked, hoping that that would be the only hiccup.

Krystine just raised her hands and took a step back. So this spook was carrying something top secret, what a damn surprise. "Alright LT, I was only trying to make sure my passenger didn't have to strain themselves at all. Feel free to do it yourself" She said simply, walking up the ramp and stopping at the top to look at him. "Ships already prepped, and I can't initiate flight sequences until you're all nice and strapped in. Wanted to make sure we got you to whatever ship it is I am taking you too ASAP. Of course if you would rather not have me my cargo hold at all, I can sit in my cockpit" She said, wanting to ever so subtly emphasizes the fact that this was her bird at the end of the day.
"Then again, it's only you. Didn't think a single ONI officer would be doing grunt work in the first place. What's so special without needing a whole escort?" She asked casually, leaning against the inner bulkhead of the Pelican. It was unnerving to have ONI around, but at the same time snarkyness was just a few extra duties. She was sure if she kept things at a light level than she would be more than fine.

(Sorry for the wait.)
Christopher Hyde ONI Section I Agent Must it be like this?
"I'm fine," was the only response to her first comment as Chris managed to get the cart tied and held to the wall with a combination of seat straps and stretch webbing with some hooks on the end. It was a fairly slapdash job, and looked it, but is also looked study and like it wouldn't go anywhere. Getting it unbound may take awhile though...regardless Chris seemed pleased with the job and turned around to look at Young as she watched him from the cockpit door. She was still being difficult, the agent suspecting it was to try to get some kind of spluttering reaction out of him...how to best avoid that? Maybe go with it? Would likely surprise the ODST.
"You can sit wherever you want Sergeant Young, it's your Pelican, as you mentioned." With that said he sat down opposite the cryo-pod, as it took up a good bit of space on the left side of the Pelican, and strapped himself into the seat for the launch procedure of the transport. Glancing over at her as she kept talking he rolled his eyes a bit and adjusted his glasses before responding. "Apparently the Iowa was out of new Privates to do the leg-lifting for me. But no, I wouldn't called it Unggoy work - more that myself and ONI in general want to make sure something is done correctly and quietly, so we do it ourselves." Sitting back against the seat he double checked his seat straps before relaxing for the jolts until they were at coasting speed.

Sgt Alexandria just nodded "Yep, and that's why you got an ODST flying you around. Nice and quiet" She said before looking at him strapping up. "No, not back here. I'm gonna need you up front in the Co-Pilot spot. I don't exactly your average normal registered pilot with the UNSC. I may need some secret password or something that only you know. Let's get up there" She said, putting her helmet on and walking up into the cockpit. "Don't touch anything though, I may only be borrowing her from another crew but I'm treating her like she's my own" She grumbled.
Octavia waited for the officer to move to the front before starting to turn on the pelican. Red warning lights started to flash but she just turned them off. "Seriously... Get a grip guys" She muttered. Her COM's were blinking quickly, so she turned it on through the cockpit PA.
"This is UNSCS Hangar Control. This is an unregistered flight. Please cease and desist your actions, over" a cool headed voice recited over the COMs. Octavia gave Chris a "See?" kinda look before responding.
"This is Sgt Octavia Alexandria, call sign Guardian Angel. I'm just as confused as you boys, but I have a haunted Pelican, and the Ghost wants things hush hush. He is on board and on stand-by should any code words or something be needed" She said simply. There was silence over the COMs before they responded.
"We would like that, however why isn't a Pilot taking this agent? You are not on our crew records as a pilot." Hangar Control asked. Sometimes it was easier to deal with AI in these situations.
"What do you think I was before I became a Pilot. Seriously, just talk to the spook, he can probably give you everything you need" She grumbled, looking at Chris. "Gonna say hi to our new friends?" She asked

(Gah sorry for the wait, didn't see this was updated D: .)
Christopher Hyde ONI Section I Agent So much for simple.
Looking over as the Sergeant revealed these new hitches in the plan Chris had a rather dopey look of confusion on his face before he just nodded and unstrapped himself from his chair. Scratching his beard a bit he ducked through the cockpit door into the cockpit and eyed the co-pilots seat a bit before looking up at and watching the conversation between Young and the ships AI. Now thoroughly confused as to what was going on Chris didn't remember this wrinkle in the message he had received on the Prowler to go and pick the package up. Humming a bit as he was promoted to speak he gave her a 'one moment' hand gesture before tapping his ear and waiting for a bit before speaking. "Roudy?"
A short one sided conversation followed. "No, I don't need to know about the Sergenant now. If I really feel the urge I'll look it up later...I'm sure, just get us clearance please so we can get the cryo-pod delivered to Moments...Thank you and, once more, I AM sure." Glancing back at Young he smiled a bit as he nodded. "My AI is getting us clearance now - they often prefer to talk to each other anyway." He would normally be more concerned about this mystery pilot that he was essentially trusting his life too but this was ONI. Even if he didn't understand any of what was going on he knew it was for some reason so best to just roll with it so you don't need to be swept away.
"So...so do you want me up here or in the back Sergeant?" He asked, still standing semi in the doorway as the red lights lit up again briefly before turning green.

Sgt Alexandria just let the officer talk to himself. She didn't need to know the full conversation and it was way above her pay grade anyway. Suddenly the COMs crackled to life.
"This is Hangar Control to Guardian Angel. We have received your clearance code and are cleared for take off from Hangar three. Prepare for Taxi" The voice said. Octavia just nodded her head and looked at the LT
"Well LT, I seem to have an empty co pilot seat, and I don't think whatever is in that cryo pod is gonna up and walk away any time soon so feel free to sit up here. Might wanna do so fast though. Taxi is never an enjoyable experience" She said flatly. After a few moments of silence, a loud clamping sound could be heard, and the ship started to move from the Storage Bay to the Take off point. "We will be ready in a minute LT, just a few more steps" She said finally.

Christopher Hyde ONI Section I Agent Sooooo....hi.
"She won't be, the occupant has a problematic and large case of dead." Chris said in reply to the statement about the pod as he nodded and sat down, starting to strap himself into the seat. He may have said too much about the occupant of the secret pod, but he wasn't going to call the poor Sangheili an it for no reason...just need to be careful about saying anything else. "And I'm aware, its worse out of a Prowler, since it combines the hurling of the big ship throw with the dead drop of ODST pods - that small space is never fun for anything."
He just nodded as she said to wait as he finished strapped himself in and spent the time looking at all the different read-out screens. Nearly all of it was gibberish to him but it was good to step away from his screens of alien languages and see some good old fashioned human gobbeldy-Good Boy. All this stuff about pitch and yawn and frame stress was surely important but just not to him. Nodding back at Young as she seemed ready Chris adjusted his glasses and tried to smile a bit again...but if he had a question it died on his tongue as he just sat there dopely. Likely not what she expected from the super secret ONI.
