So, As some of you may remember, I did the first part of halo 4's opening mission. I thought I'd try again, except try other games, Other settings.
One game I'm very partial to is Assassins creed, and one game I am partial to is Brotherhood.
This story takes place between the ending of the game and the DLC, I know technically there is a back story in the novell titled the same as the game, but This could be an unofficial entry into the canon as well.
As always, Commentary is appreciated and welcome, as well as light critic. Please enjoy.

Chapter One - Peace at last?
"Requiescat in pace, Bastardo" hissed Ezio as he peered over the ledge of the wall that he had just dropped Cesare Borgia off of. The relief was palpable in the air around him as he slowly backed away from the ledge. The guards that had ran to Cesare's aid now seemed confused and frightened. They slowly backed away as Ezio slowly turned around and started towards them and as soon as Ezio drew his sword, Which he had liberated from a dead captaino, They tucked tail and ran.
Nodding approvingly, Ezio re sheathed his sword, Longing for his old blade that he had lost when the mortar had exploded too close to him, knocking him unconscious. He had then been looted for his sword, and other various gadgets. Thankfully he had been able to loot other dead soldiers and had restocked his supply before facing Cesare. It had also been a stroke of luck he had found a horse that he had been able to use to catch up. It was by this same stroke of luck that the same horse now was waiting on the ground for him, Idly munching on some grass.
Slowly descending the building, He took the time to reflect on what had just happened. Who he had just killed and what it meant for him now. Seemingly now he could rest, take time to reflect on his journey through his life as an Assassin, and to contemplate his future. It was an odd feeling, A luxury he thought he would never be able to afford. His head swam with images of what could be, His destiny now free to pursue.
As he got to the ground, He strode over to the mangled body of the once maniacal Borgia, His scarred and pocked face bloody from the fight with Ezio as well as the sudden stop from his fall. His body was bent in many unnatural directions, Bones jutted out of his arms and legs as well as multiple contusions.
Standing over the body, Ezio drew in a sharp breath. The Bastardo still lived! Cesare's chest heaved with the effort of breathing. Hissing slightly under his breath, Ezio drew closer and squatted down beside the broken man. He then leaned in closer to the mans face. Cesare's eyes fluttered open and his eyes. He then locked gazes on Ezio and let out a low moan.
"You see? God has chosen to spare me!" muttered Cesare in a hoarse voice. "I am... a.... GOD!"
Smiling faintly, Ezio unsheathed his hidden blade. But he reigned in the impulse to dash out the crazed mans life on the spot. His higher wisdom told him to let the man speak.
"No. What you are, is a coward, hiding under a cloak of lies to mask what you truly are." replied Ezio.
"Pah." Spat Cesare. "You Assassin's know NOTHING! All you know is the lies that have been passed down from generation to generation. We only seek to unite the people. We seek peace."
"So you spread fear and pain, in the name of peace?" Ezio asked incredulously. "I have no more time for your lies."
"Then end it! I will talk no longer Assassino." Cesare spat.
"Have it your way. Requiescat in pace" whispered Ezio. Then, with a quick motion, He jabbed his blade into Cesares jugular, severing it and causing a spurt of scarlet to pour out onto the ground.
Ezio then stood and watched Cesare's life drain out of him. Watched as the light slowly faded from his eyes and for his body to go completely limp. It was only then that Ezio drew back in his blade and got on the horse. As he rode away from Cesare's body, He felt... contentment. For the first time in his life. He then turned his horse back towards Roma. Machievelli would be curious to know how he had faired.
