I've always wanted to 3D model but I finally forced myself to buckle down and learn Blender. I'm not great yet, but I figured I'd store my stuff here as I go along and you guys can see my progress. First model is an Imperial Lasgun from Warhammer 40k:

Anyway, I joined a mod team! They needed more buildings and stuff so I was happy to oblige. And then I tried to make a church... but I got a little carried away, and it started turning into a cathedral. It was way over the limit for poly's so I had to stop myself.

XD I really like the work you're doing Jakob, particularly the abstract trees, the sci-fi drop ship and run-down or damaged structure, overall... seems mixture of realistic architecture, and abstract for some shape/colours? Makes me think of RTS buildings. Oh, and the Cathedral as you call it, the facade or face looks wonderful. <3 it. Would it be possible to ask, out of humble curiosity, if you could look into creating more small-scale structures, like single-story homes, storage/shacks, rundown, ruined or pristine? And in no order, the abstract trees/Minecraftish landscape, looks aesthetically appealing, clean and easy on the eye. Oh, and rather inspiring to, to start messing around with 3D editors for landscapes/levels and such. =3

Faclan: Are you asking about the site rules? Because religion exists in the world of Halo all over. The Covenant has theirs and Humans often have religious items or mention religious things in the games and books.
