Hi. Welcome to the rules page which doubles as a general information zone about this Non-canon thread.
-Synopsis-
The plot is of a strange ship that appeared and proceeded to crash on the planet Arcadia, where it's strange cargo fell into the ocean along with several pieces. It's too brick-like to be Covenant, but it's too strange to be UNSC. In addition, it is firing on anything coming even remotely close to it. It doesn't seem hostile but should be approached with extreme caution. Because the war is over between the Covenant and the UNSC in this story, they are working tenuously with each other and seek to try and recover this strange ship and help it's occupants. The UNSC suspect that they're rebels while the Covenant believes them to be renegades that seek to continue the war on Humanity's behalf.
-RULES-
Okay. Now that that's out of the way, what to put down? Hmm... Never done this before, but I guess we all start somewhere.
1.) Swearing is okay. Even funny at some times.
2.) Don't be a little bitch about how this story is unrealistic. It's in the non-canon section. It's not suppose to be.
3.) Covenant players and UNSC players are encouraged to be friends in this story, but still be wary about each other. The war ended a few weeks ago. So it's expected that they'd still be mistrustful of each other.
4.) Arcadia is in the process of being rebuilt, so when the story shifts to the Port-City nearby, I expect to see details about buildings still wrecked, destroyed, roads blocked, buildings being built, and so on.
5.) Please, have more then just a sentence unless it's a quick response and in dialogue.
6.) When out of Character, use these. ((-INSERT WORDS HERE-))
7.) No Forerunner characters, please.
I think that about covers it. It will be updated when the need arises. And now, on to combat.
COMBAT:-
When combat comes around, one needs to roll a number from 1-to-12. If you go below 5, you miss. If you roll 6-10, you hit them but it is not considered critical unless their armor is so damaged it cannot hold itself against the next attack. If you roll 11-12 it is automatically critical hit.

Energy Shields require three posts to recharge. Jump Jets require two posts to recharge.
If some one has objections to this, PM me. Do not reply here. Please.
Hmm. I think that's about it. What else should I add? PM me your suggestions.
The main story page will be up later today labeled "A Foreign Threat". Stay tuned.
