I enjoy your pictures, they remind me of my brothers drawing style. As for the blade, be warned that a serrated blade can get stuck pretty easily in combat, especially in heavy armor or close segments of armor. The vast strength of the Jiralhanae would help reduce this though, since they could most likely just rip it free if it was a strong enough material the blade was made from.

Just my two cents, nice drawings though;

Knife looks fine to me, sort of really heavy duty utility field knife.

The Sword looks more like a serrated club rather than a sword with a 'blade' that long, I would suggest maybe having a stabbing blade on the top that extends outward a little as just making the serrations as long as a normal sword would make it super front heavy. Unless you wanted it to be a serrated club/mace deal, that would be cool to.

I know but a really thick blade like that would still be ver front heavy and hard to swing around like a sword if it was all the serrated bit - more like a club with its front heavyness. Hence when I suggested a thinner stabbing blade at the front.

And while that may be true against flesh that you could just rip it out and wound as you go in armor the serrations would get stuck and even with Jiralhanae strenght would be very difficult to pull out of that.

Serrations are most effective against bare flesh, and if its a Jiralhanae they seem to favor blunt weapons as much as blades. Could be a supped up spiked mace or if you still wanted the super serrated sword you would just have to be careful about what you try to slash/cut as it would do crazy damage if you hit an unarmed part but would easily get stuck in human/sangheili/Kig/ect. armor.
