Private Hunter Knight's Journal of Covenant Windbags
1. Scrawnies (Jackals, as the uncool UNSC like to say)
Scrawnies are the first species I've encountered so far. They're, well, scrawny. They're kinda' like that seventh grade bully on cyber space. Behind their shields, they talk a lot of shit, and hell, they do a lot of damage. But once you knock out their little glowie shields, they run away, cowering. I mean, I haven't killed one yet, but hey, I'm sure they aren't that challenging. One thing I would avoid is the jaws. They look powerful. Their hands also seem to be some clawed and ready for some CQC shit. I'd avoid that.
Pros:
- Shields
- Accurate
- Agile
Cons:
- Ugly as hell
- Pussies when their shields go down

2. Toddlers
Ever wondered what would happen if you gave a trigger happy baby high on meth a gun? Well, here you go. These guys are actually kinda' cute, hence the name I so generously gave them. They serve as the backbone of the Covenant Military, easily the most numerous of all of the species. In every engagement EVER, these bastards have been present. They serve as frontline troops as far as I can see. They aren't as cocky as the other Covenant troops, and have been known throughout the UNSC for their cowardice. Take out the head of them, and all the others run like little babies away. It's great to watch.
Pros:
- Numerous
- Small, harder to hit
Cons:
- Cowardly most of the time
- Inaccurate

3. Sharks
Ugh. These guys. Sharks are the dominant force of the Covenant. I've heard rumors of lone Sharks taking down squads of soldiers at a time. They are nine feet tall, are at least, about eight feet tall. No idea how much they weigh, but I'm sure they're pretty fucking heavy. Stronger than the EXTREMELY strong SPARTAN-II's, I'd never want to fuck with one of these guys. They're the top caste of the Covies, and easily the most dangerous and feared.
Pros:
- Strong
- Fast
- Agile
- Skilled
- CQC efficiency
- Natural hunters so it seems
Cons:
- Wish I could fill a slot...
