Character Creation Guidelines
Name: SPARTAN-II's will only have a first name followed by a tag. SPARTAN-III's will have the same, except with either an A or B in front of the tag. SPARTAN-IV's don't have tags, and go by their full names.
Gender: Obvious.
Generation: I am allowing both Class 1 and Class 2 SPARTAN-II's, Alpha and Beta Company SPARTAN-III's, and SPARTAN-IV's.
Height: Refer to the Character Dimensions Guideline thread.
Weight: See above.
Appearance: Plain and simple. Includes what armor your Spartan wears.
Personality:
Skills: What your Spartan is good at. I'd rather do this than S/W, as it's just easier and funner.
Armor Ability: Promethean Vision, Jetpack, Thruster Pack, Hardlight Shield, Hologram, Active Camouflage, Auto Sentry, Regeneration Field.
Equipment: What weapons, grenades, etc. your Spartan carries into combat with them. UNSC, Covenant, and Promethean weapons are available.
Bio Summary: Just a paragraph or two of your character's life. Also, your Spartan is required to have served on the UNSCS Infinity's first journey to Requiem.
Name: Lysander-003
Gender: Male
Generation: SPARTAN-II, Class 2
Height: 7' 1"
Weight: 375 lbs.
Appearance: Lysander has a lean but still muscular build, hawkish, swarthy features, buzzed-cut dark brown hair, and bright grey eyes.
His armor is charcoal with navy highlights, and is primarily of the Mark VI variant. There are two combat knives sheathed on either side of his hips.
Personality: He is patient and cautious most of the time, and though he isn't the best team leader, is fairly good at earning the trust and respect of his teammates. That being said, he's not afraid of being sarcastic at times.
Skills:
~Excellent at stealth.
~Prefers mid range to close-quarters range in combat.
~Has extraordinarily good reflexes and speed.
Armor Ability: Active Camouflage
Equipment:
~Silenced MA5K
~M6C/SOCOM
~2 Combat Knives
~Flashbang grenades
~M9 Fragmentation grenades
~Small amount of assorted high-explosives
Bio Summary:
Lysander-003 was known by his fellow Spartan trainees for his knack at stealth, particularly his canny traps and ambushes. When the 75 teenagers were subjected to the augmentation procedures, he was actually killed when his heart gave out. Fast-forward two and a half years to when Doctor Halsey thought of a way to resuscitate him. It succeeded, and he was brought up to speed and put into combat shortly after recovering.
Years later, he was the leader of Mythic Team in the final days of the Great War, occasionally working alongside notable teams such as the Hellspartans and Gold Team. After the war ended, Lysander was given an offer to integrate into the SPARTAN-IV Program. He did so, and was permitted to lead a reconstructed Mythic. In 2557, the Infinity went to Requiem to locate the Master Chief, John-117. Lysander lead Mythic into combat against the Storm and Promethean factions, eventually fighting alongside the Master Chief himself. Unfortunately, he was one of the only survivors after a plan went wrong, resulting in the majority of his team being killed.
Now, months later after the New Phoenix incident, Mythic Team is back with a vengeance.
As a couple of quick notes:
Armor Abilities: Jetpack is far more effective than in the game, more akin to the one from the Halo Reach Deliver Hope trailer. The Active Camouflage is waaaay better, and instead of a radar jamming effect, it instead erases the user from radar. The Hologram is a roving hardlight construct projected from a device on the Spartan's armor, and as such, only has an effective range of about thirty meters before vanishing. The Thruster Pack can also be very effective, depending on how much juice your Spartan puts into it. Also, armor lock is a passive effect that can be activated on command, but is generally only used in emergency situations.
MJOLNIR Armor: Shields are roughly as strong as a Sangheili Ultra's, and the strength enhancement puts the average Spartan on par with an average Sangheili's strength, though this is still less than a Promethean Knight. It also has VISR 4.0 built in, Night Vision mode, and has all features of the Mark VI unless otherwise noted.
Now to the good stuff.
