This is a persona battle, taking place inside a canyon, about the size of the grand canyon, with a river in the dead center flowing throughout the canyon. No weapons, armor, or anything of that sort are located anywhere on the map. Just you and your wits. BEGIN!
Arby sat on a boulder, looking at the water a few feet away from him. Redirecting his attention to his hand, he summoned a small flame, dancing the blaze between his fingertips, mesmerized by the performance of the flames.

Saber slid his finger through space gently and cut open a rift, giving himself a way into the arena from his own universe. Stepping through carefully, he closed it behind him, sealing the rift back up. Looking around, Saber tucked his hands into his pockets in his tenchcoat and took a look around. He was a little surprised at the different sort of area, but as he looked below him at the water flowing under the soles of his shoes, it was quite an energy-pot.
Shrugging, he was a bit impressed at the location chosen, and looked up to his opponent who sat on a boulder beside the river. Saber cracked his neck and chuckled a bit.
"Nice place. Would be a shame to end you here. No worries though, we can have some fun first. But, I hope you understand.. That when it's my turn.. Hell will come out of my fingers and this canyon will become your coffin." Saber taunted..
Then burst out laughing a few seconds later.
"No I'm kidding, let's have some fun!"

Glancing at Saber, he tensed. He knew Saber's reputation, and knew it would be a long and hard fight he was bound to lose. The speech of his death didn't help much either.
Although, when he started laughing, he felt more comfortable. "Alright," Arby responded, hopping down from the rock. He took his jacket off, and threw it to the right of him, so he had only a T-Shirt and jeans. "Let's do this."
Igniting one hand with lightning, he fired at the water Saber stood in. What an easy win this might be, as much as he doubted it, he thought it was already over.

The instant Arbiter move, Saber redirected energy to his left eye. The energy turned the eyeball into a cool blue gem, solidifying the organ. His HUD appeared, and the energy within began to forward information into his brain as it analyzed his movements. When lightning shot out of his hand, the water beneath Saber began to become electrified.
He replaced the space beneath him with solid energy, causing the water to flow around him and not under him. Even though he was actually hovering over the water, he had been touching it. If Arby was more subtle, Saber may have felt a little shock.
"Good one." He chuckled and looked down, seeing the water around his cylinder of energy sparking a bit. "But not good enough.. Would you like to try door number two?" Saber smirked.

Arbiter looked irritated at the counter, but then chuckled. "Oh, it was a good one, and so was this." Stomping his foot to the ground and sliding it backwards, a large chunk of earth elevated not in front of, but behind Saber and flung itself at him.
As a backup plan, Arbiter had set a blaze on his left hand, ready to fire and kill Saber if plan A failed to succeed

As the earth began to move behind him, the sound immediately caught Saber's attention. Looking in the water, he put some energy in to freeze it and make a reflection. Then he saw the rock. That was it. Just a big, freaking rock that was coming at him.
Looking up at Arbiter, he took out his left hand and turned sideways. Raising his palm, he didn't make a wall between him and the rock, oh no. Instead, he made essentially a pyramid. The back, flat side of the pyramid covered Saber and stuck out until the peak was just in front of the stone coming at him. Upon impact, the rock would essentially shatter apart. Why? The reason is because on impact, the spike would penetrate inside then expand rapidly into a large spike back.
At the back of the pyramid, Saber made the side glossy and reflective. He couldn't make Arby out perfectly, but he was able to see him as the scene in front of him occurred.
"So, looks to me that you control the elements, eh? Well then.." Saber muttered, pulling out his other hand. "I might have to be a little more cautious..." He grinned wickedly, licking his lips slowly as if he smelt blood in the air.

Arbiter grunted. Instead of his basic tricks, though, he decided to do something different. Tossing his hand high into the air, water shot at Saber at Arby's command. He clenched his fists together, and the water froze, becoming deadly shards of ice at his will, still finging them at Saber.

As Arby began to move, Saber turned around to face him. Upon raising his hand and making the water move, Saber knew that some sort of arial attack was coming. If it wasn't in the air, then he'd have to react afterwards. Pulling his right hand forward, he clenched a fist and the Pyramid behind him collapsed into solid blue energy. It flowed like water, surrounding Saber like a blue shell.
Once it incase him, Saber looked at Arby and grinned wickedly at him, stretching his lips as his teeth turned into the shape of daggers. His blue jewel eye suddenly flashed black, then the entire shell of energy shifted from blue to black, disallowing any sight within it. At the base, through the platform holding Saber from the floor, a pulse shot outwards.
The pulse, in the form of a wave, expanded rapidly throughout the battlefield as Arby's attack came to a close, slamming into his shell. A few moments after, a red dot from inside the gem became visible.
"My turn..." From all through the canyon, Saber's voice echoed, much deeper than previously.

Arby stood, thoroughly confused. The fight had escalated quickly from a turn based fight to what looks like it belonged in a nightmare. Arby's eyes filled with fear, starting to realize that it may all end here. He did his best not to show the fear, but he wasn't very successful. "G-go-..." He suddenly felt... better. Even if he did lose, he wouldn't go down as easy as many did to this maniac. "...Go for it."

At first, the red eye was still. Or so seemed to be as Saber stared through the gem. Inside, unknown to Arby, the gem was full of sprawling black mist and energy. All around Saber, he felt the bonding of his skin, his organs, and his body as a hole mix with the energy that flowed around him. He stared at Arby as he slowly let the bloodlust that flowed inside of his veins pour out.
Then, the jewel in his right eye began to turn red as well until that shined through, glaring at Arby as well. All over Saber, he felt the raw power of what he let bleed into the air. Slowly, all of the floating mist and energy clamped onto Saber, both on the inside and outside until the gem was empty except for the man inside.
He grinned, a low growl echoing through the canyon as Saber gripped his hands. Making tight fists, he clenched, and suddenly jumped up.
The black jewel shattered, but not into little pieces, it moreover split into nearly thirty different pieces, all taking elongated-sharp shapes as they directed at Arby. Saber continued to move back in the air and the shards pointed down like shields to defend him as he moved back. He created a small platform and landed on it.
Extending his left hand, a sleek, jagged bow slowly took a solid shape. Though, it had no bow string, just pure solid energy. Lifting it up, he took aim at Arby.
Saber was completely covered in a black-plate like armor. It looked like a single solid piece though, and was smooth to his figure. Because of the amount of energy within it though, it wasn't able to completely remain solid, and a black haze floated off from the armor.
Grabbing the string, the solid energy whined and groaned as he pulled back. In the middle, energy curdled and formed a solid bow. The power of the pull strained on the energy, and the tension within was shown by the weapon's turning red.
As Saber aimed and prepared to fire, the shards floating to shield him suddenly turned sharp-end up, and fanned outwards. Saber looked from beneath the energy-eye covers and growled low. With a grunt, he released the arrow. It screeched loudly, a horrendous cry shrieking through the canyon as it and the shards collapsed on Arby's position.

Arby still stood firm, as Saber put on a show with his dark energy. Arby felt as if his essence was, becoming darker as well. Whether this was the fight, the Dark Essence surrounding him, or something that sparked inside of him, he did not know. All he knew is, he liked it.
Saber had placed himself in front and above Arby, on a platform made of the energy. Once Saber had reached that, Arby was filled with anger and aggressiveness. As the work he trained so hard on slowly shattered from his memory, it was replaced by something darker. The essence completely took hold of him, and his eyes turned into shades of red on his right, and purple on his right.
Saber let his shards collapse on Arby's position. He summoned two rocks, holding them aloft in air. Barrel rolling to the right, he used the rocks as bodyshields. Two shards hit the rocks, demolishing them. Arby was brought two an upright stance, and sidestepped a Shard, having it explode and send him a few feet, landing the fall, though.
In a test of his newfound strength, he put both his hands out, concentrating on his own powers. Pain grew in his back, and soon his mind. Screaming at the top of his lungs, blood red lightning traveled from his shoulders to his arms, and out his palms. He switched his concentration to the Shards coming towards him. The lightning stemmed out into smaller branches of red electricity, each one finding a different path to Saber, attacking him.

Saber chuckled and held off the remaining shards, not wanting to waste them. He released his bow and let it float beside him. When the lightning was close enough, the fast paced strike quickly crossing the distance, Saber simply extended his hands and let out a sort of corral around himself. The misty energy caught the lightning and manipulated the electron levels in the air, causing them to deter from their original path. The paths he gave them brought the strikes to his palms, and into two black small balls that lingers in their centers. The lightning passed right into them, and the balls began to expand as all of it was absorbed. Saber watched and waited for Arby to finish feeding him, then grinned.
"Analysis, complete. Attack added to the registry." His suit stated to Saber, and he closed his fingers on the energy balls. The energy slowly coiled from the blood-red of Arby, slowly into a pure black as the energy within the lightning was purified.
Snapping his fingers shut, the energy was dispersed and absorbed rapidly into Saber's internal pool. He grabbed his bow and raised it up. Pulling back on the string, he aimed at Arby once more. Though, instead of shooting, Saber began to vibrate.. His body slowly started to move extremely fast until it almost looked like there were two of him. The twenty six shards still floating lifted up like platforms, and slowly Saber began to move.
At first, he was just hoping, but slowly, he began to move faster and faster and faster. Releasing the first arrow, he aimed not at Arby, but at the ground in front of him. Then another arrow game for Arby's left foot, then his right, then his left shin, then his right shin. As Saber picked up his speed, he started to fire faster and faster until a hail of arrows started to rain down on Arby. Each time Saber touched a shard, he fired another shot.
