Duffle Vs. Monkey in Labryinth

Monkey took a wide step to the right and dogded the wave. He gathered more energy into his hands for two more chaos meteors. He reeled another right, this time at Duffle's kidney and followed up with a left at Duffle's stomach. Shield or not, four consecutive chaos meteors would be more than enough for anything. But just in case, Monkey had improvised another attack in his right, a chaos meteor merged with a chaos blast. The two orbs double helix'd into a sharp point. The energy shook slightly with overcharge, definately gonna need a new name for this one.

"Not my place to decide, stop asking and do it.", Monkey lectured before waiting for Duffle's response.

Duffle leapt over the first attack, easily clearing it, before erecting a barrior that took two of the attacks in concussive blasts of energy. As the fourth attack flew at him, Duffle caught the raging ball of energy with his own, spinning around ti sling it back in Monkey's direction. With a grin, he raised his arm, and still more energy flowed into him, lighting up his entire body. With his other hand he pointed at Monkey. It was time to play with his opponent with a few telikinetic tricks.

With a sweep of the hand, he placed a wrenching force on Monkey's ankle that would hopefully pull his leg out from under him, while with the other he began to put incresing pressure on Monkey's fingers, attempting to bend them back and snap them.

Monkey jerked his head to the right as the energy shot at him, only managing to be grazed by Duffle's counter on his mask, which cracked even more now.

"And lastly, timing.", Monkey said as he looked past Duffle at his now falling katana of narration.

If all went accordingly, Duffle would either be impaled or turned to ash. Monkey ripped himself free of the telekinetic grab on his leg and glared at Duffle. Monkey tightened his left hand and launched himself and Duffle upward. He brought his left back to him and launched his right with his overcharged attack. The energy began to glow crimson as he smashed it against Duffle's barrier.

"Chaos Cannon!", Monkey roared as the attack finally released all of it's energy at Duffle and shot fourth.

The force of the attack was enough to rattle Monkey's entire arm, and he felt something in his hand snap as the attack went from a drill-like point and into a blossoming flower before erupting as a massive wave of energy. It created a deafening boom as it exploded in Duffle's direction and felt as if it would take Monkey's hand with it.

"This is why I don't merge attacks. Really strong, but self damaging in the end.", Monkey grumbled as he waited for Duffle to be wiped away in his energy or sent rocketing into his katana from above.

"The most important lesson of all, though, is proper usage of one's surroundings, Monkey!"

And with that, he turned his hand downwards, blowing out the thin glass cieling behing him and hurtling down into the darkness. He felt something graze his leg as he fell, and blood began to flow out of a shallow wound it made. Evidently this was the sword Monkey had tossed into the air. Still, he couldn't help but laugh as the massive attack that would have smashed through his defenses sailed harmlessly above him.

Landing on his feet with a grunt, his fall significantly softened by psionics, Duffle reached down and picked up the blade that had followed with him. It was still tainted by its former wielder's energies. Draining the blade, he filled it with his own solar energy, and now the two swords he grasped lit up the space around him in a soft white glow, revealing the devastation caused by the earlier battle. Monkey was certainly a worthy opponent. Hopefully, the injured warrior would follow him below to claim his weapon...

Monkey realized two things about what Duffle just did. The first was that Duffle and him were only a foot away at most. Which meant Duffle was trying to send them both into the abyss below. Monkey fell before catching himself on the sharp cliff of glass. He grunted as he watched Duffle fall below. Which led Monkey to the other point, Duffle had destroyed the floor below the glass. Meaning Duffle just jumped into an endless abyss. Monkey looked down in both awe and confusion. He looked down for a few moments before climbing back up and looking around.

"So... is this a ring out or something?", Monkey asked aloud hoping there was some form of judge for this.

He looked at his right hand and saw that it was sizzling, while his left now had a gash from catching himself on the glass. He looked back at the hole Duffle made before sighing.

"That wasn't a very satisfying ending.", Monkey murmered, "I'll just say he got blown up so nobody knows he goofed."

(Erm... it's not an endless abyss... it's a structure about forty feet down... we fought in it earlier... and I can levitate...)

"Hmm," Duffle though aloud, "I guess he isn't following me... In that case I'll just have to go to him!"

Kicking off the ground, he telikinetically lightened his body to almost nothing, Hurtling upwards and back outside. He burst through anothe rpane of glass of the expansive cieling, coming around to face Monkey, who appeared to just be standing around.

"What's our problem?!" he yelled, as he brought both blades down in an X, making a psionic slash that hurtled towards Monkey.

(Note: There is nothing saying that it's 40 feet, just a block in the air. Also you don't have levitating as a power... So... Yeah... That...)

(Telkininesis. I can levitate myself, yes. And I was just guestimating. It may be more or less than 40 ft, but it's certainly not an "endless abyss.")

Wait wait wait.. I leave this fight alone for less than a page and you've left the arena indestructible arena, said someone's died and gotten into an OOC debate. Well could someone explain what happened? As I let this fight roll at the end of the first page. I know what happened up until this page.

Yes I had to read through the page a second time, so ignoring the fact you broke an indestructible ceiling, Duffle is not dead. The cube is basically like having a floating cube on Forge World, except it's not Forge World.

Besides that Duffle is fine seeing as your'e flying with 'the power of chaos' Monkey while Duffle's explanation makes... er.. more sense. ANYWAYS, CONTINUE

Wait, it was never stated that the cieling was indestructable... so can we continiue running around on top of it? xD

The setting is a large maze inside a large cube-building in middair. While the walls cannot be broken the maze walls CAN but are hard to break. The only light comes from the glass roof, making it a quite dark environment. (Note: Duffle your solar stuff works fine)

Monkey sighed as Duffle was still apprantly alive. He looked back dwon at the pit where duffle had descended and then back at his own wounds. Duffle was barely hurt or inhindered, meanwhile Monkey was starting to feel the wear and tear. He also had no weapon since duffle had proably grabbed it when he fell below. This wasn't a fight Monkey could win with only a third of his actual powers in play. If he had chaos beast or even royal he could have kept Duffle in a closer distance with the advantage. But at this point it was like fighting a dragon with a dagger. It could be done but it would take way too long. He sighed before allowing his mask to dissipate and shrugged.

"I forfiet, this is Duffle's win.", Monkey said aloud, " I don't have much left to give and I'm weaponless. I'll give this win to Duffle."

With that, Monkey waited for whatever came next. Duffle would probably be pissed but whatever. Besides, this mean Duffle actually went beyond round one in a tourney for once.

Duffle alighted on the cieling, walking up to Monkey. He flipped Monkey's katana so that he held the flat of the blade, extending it to his opponent.

"Are you sure?" he asked, simply.

Er, alright. Anyways fight is over and it seems Duffle wins. In terms of style Monkey one, damage taken seems practically tied and the 'kill' in a way goes to Duffle. So, you heard it hear folks-
