Air-bending: The ability to manipulate air and make it into a weapon or defense mechanism. Aang is a master at his. He can create tornadoes, strong winds and storms.

water-bending: The ability to manipulate the water in close proximity. Some abilities include using water to create a barrier, a weapon or even an escape route.

Unstoppable your character seems good except the last power is a little overpowered.

Kuran your character looks amazing despite, er, talking to 'The Wolf a few times >_> (I don't want to say any spoilers for Tin) Bit yeah, he seems pretty balanced and I'm again happy to see another reader of the Night Angel trilogy.

Kill if you can get another person feel free to join in. But his powers need to be scsled down A LOT because of how each one gives him a variety of powers.

And Monkey don't you mean 9 more levels of interesting? Or ten, including the Shinga

Imhotep ( Im-hO-tet)

Description: Imhotep belongs to an ancient race that lived on the now sunken continent of Danu Talis, known now as Atlantis. He was born in the year 30,000 B.C. and has lived all this time gaining knowledge and mastering his powers. Because of his species, he resembles a boy around 16 years of age and is constantly underestimated for his looks, which later is a choice regretted by his enemies. He gained his current name in Egypt when he was revered as the god of medicine.

Armor:

The clothes he is wearing have been crafted in such a way that they are light and maneuverable, but are also a very potent armor.

Weapons:

Excalibur- A super heated stone sword that, because of its nature, can cut through metals and minerals faster than others, but will only cut organic material at a normal rate and burn them. It is immune to elemental manipulations and is very hard to break.

Staff of the Ancients- A long dull, gold staff with a large black rock on the end that points to the sky. The large black rock emits a frequency similar to a ringing bell. The sound grows louder when an enemy is near. It eventually absorbs all sounds around it, and when in battle, if it absorbs enough sounds from the battle, it can be used to unleash powerful sonic attacks. This staff is made of ancient Danu Talis material and is very unlikely to break.


Powers:

Elemental manipulation-

Imhotep learned from the Danu Talisman Prometheus, the secret of fire, he never completed his training though. After Danu Talis sank, he returned to the continent of North America to search for a loved one. He only knows how to concentrate fire in his hands and use it as projectiles.

Sometime during his years of life, he also learned how to discharged pent up energy into a powerful tremor in the earth. Causing the ground to shake, crack, and send spikes up through the ground, but it also takes a lot out of him and is used in emergency situations.


Auric Manipulation-

During his life, Imhotep learned to siphon the powerful energy of his aura and use it to erect barriers.

Energy Manipulation:

From years of training, concentration, and practice, I am able to control energy in its purest form; solid-state. Solid-state is matter broken down to it's purest form, beyond the stage of plasma. Able to be formed and moulded into any shape, it is fully flexible in it's working. Weak only in the sense that it is limited, the solid-state energy is one of the strongest forms of matter. Even the thinest shield can protect one from the strongest physical strike due to the rapid conversion-ability I have.

I have as much energy to use as I am able to carry within myself, as well as how much matter is nearby. If necessary, I am able to connect to a large pool of the energy within my own dimension, but doing so takes much time and can easily be countered by the more keen. Though, I general take from the terrain seeing it is faster and it is always there. A handful of dirt is enough to last me several moves, as I recycle much of what I use.

Solid-State Armor:

Energy formed both physically, and genetically to my body, the Armor is the purest and most stable energy within my arsenal. It does not jolt. It does not sputter, as it conforms both with my skins, my internals, and even my genetics; giving me nearly instant control over energy I have available. The Armor has no folds, no creases, and no gaps. It coats my body from head to toe; even my eyes. Though, similar to a MJOLNIR visor, there is a strip of energy around my eyes and just above my nose that acts like a HUD system.

The HUD within the armor gives me updates on my opponent, my internal energy supply, life signs, as well as data gained by analyzing my opponent. Using my brain as a data-base, the armor acts swiftly by comparing past fights with my opponents to the current and assists me in combat by giving real-time updates and information on the situation.

Energy Conversion

Due to consistent training, I have been able to cut energy conversion down into mere seconds. Upon contact with the solid-state energy, or myself, the matter is quickly broken down and dispersed before being broken down and purified. Once purified, the energy is sent to my pool and prepared for use. Even though conversion is quick, it is not instant. If armor or protection is not put up between myself and the strike, harm can be done. If a move is easily predicted, energy can be coiled under the skin/armor for swift dispersal of energy, allowing for even faster conversion.

Weapon of Choice:

Solid State Energy

The energy I manipulate is not only able to be used as a defensive mechanism; it can be used for offense. The energy can be shaped and formed into nearly any object. Powered by the energy inside, it can even fire projectiles if necessary. Though, mostly only spears, swords, blunt objects, and sharp-elongated gems are formed for close quarters and general attacks. Rarely is any projectile weapon is ever formed, as they are inefficient on the battlefield and cause to much commotion.

I prefer using my bow over any gun or cannon...

Secondary Weapon of Choice

Bow of The Lords

Bow made of nearly completely energy, with the main piece composing of solid-state energy. The bow is capable of sucking the life-force of the surrounding area and turns it into a use-able arrow, and with energy everywhere in the universe, the amount the bow can fire is almost limitless. Yet, this also gives arrows charge-times. Quickly shot arrows are fast, nimble, and sturdy, but longer-held arrows are several times more devastating. If held long enough, a single arrow can easily burrow into the crust and explode with about half the power of an atomic bomb.

Of course, if held for to long, energy in an arrow can become unstable, potentially exploding and wounding the user.

Upon victory, or near victory, the bow will glow and begin to drain the life-force of the opponent. Once the life-force is drained, the bow will absorb the rest of the body and leave no trace of it. The drained life-force is converted into energy and part of it is used to repair the battle-ground. The rest is spread out within the user's armor; strengthening it for future battles.

Appearance:

If not in armor...

Taking the appearance of a mostly muscular, caucasian male, I wear a simple black tench-coat that has red lining on the inside. As for under clothing, a simple black shirt and black slacks. Boots up to the middle of my shins give me a solid footing in nearly any terrain, and with a small energy cache in the arch of each foot, I'm able to quickly create a platform beneath me to hold, or even elevate myself.

If in armor..

Upon need to wear armor, the tench coat I wear is broken down and converted to assist, instead of just being tossed away. The armor is tightly conformed to my body and my outline. Depending on the pace of the battle and aggressiveness required, the armor can either be a solid light-blue with a dark-blue visor, or it can be pure black, with a red visor.

Just out of curiosity, how much energy can you carry within yourself at any one time?

Never had to specify.. But I'd say that if I poured it into something, it would fill up an in-ground pool about this size. (Dimensions approx.: 25 feet by 10 feet. Steady depth of 8 foot)

Edit: It's enough to sustain myself through this tournament, as I recycle about 65% of my attacks and defenses after use.

damn. I was just trying to determine under which circumstances you would need to draw in any additional energy.

Those would be determined by the power of the attack, how many times I use the attack, if I can recycle the energy or not, if my opponent has any defense up, as well as ways that I would have to adapt it in an instant.

In short, the amount used is dependent purely on each individual situation.

Saber, define "Energy," as I don't think you're using it in quite the same way as the dictionary definition.

The purest form of matter. I call it energy because that's essentially what it is. It is a state of matter above Plasma and all it is, is the most broken down and pure form of power. It's more concentrated, and has less deficiencies than Plasma, making it less difficult to use. It is cooler than plasma, and safe to the touch as it is stable, but its temperature can be adjusted by making it vibrate. It takes mostly the form of a mist, unless it is in what I call "solid-state", which is compressed and solidified energy.

This "solid-state" energy can be seen to the naked eye and is mostly colored blue so I can see it. It doesn't have to be blue, it can be any color. Blue, red, pick, black, yellow, brown, or even no color at all. I just make it blue so I can keep track of my attacks, though I sometimes don't put color into the solid-state, as to trick my opponent or trap them. If it does change color, I note the change in my posts.

When it's in mist form; it is much more difficult to see as it is highly unstable and changes to whatever it touches fairly quickly. This most of the time is air.
