The moment the somewhat heavy sack hit his back, Til stood completely still. He looked passive but his clawed fingers cracked into tight fists. Turning his head to see the insolent whelp have turned his back on the Major Domo. His hidden fury shifted his emerald eye into a thin slit and as if calm, he walked toward the minor. Picking up the sack and the scattered trash, he casually walked to the frustated Sangheili. "Excuse me, I believe you have thrown this trash at me." He called with a simply calm voice.

Suddenly his actions pierced the cloud of anger that surrounded Sino's mind.
The other Sangheili's voice penetrated his confusion, letting the full import of his actions come crashing upon his head.
He had just thrown a bag of refuse at a superior.
This could be considered assault.
Which would be insubordination.
Which would be heresy.
His mind flipped through the steps in his head.
And then he panicked.
He turned around to face the Major Domo, and then began to slightly wheeze. Okay, maybe not slightly. There was a definite wheeze, though.
"Forgive--forgive me. I have been sorely trashed--sorely tried these past few days. My mind is--is still muddled from that Special Operator who hit me."
He tried to regain control of himself, and failed, instead heaving in a huge breath and then expelling it as he slid against a tree and slipped to the ground.
Of course, any Sangheili would have assumed he'd fainted. Of course, fainting is common when you have internal hemorrhaging in your head.

Stopping when the Minor fainted against the tree, Til looked at him and couldn't help to laugh at the Minor's fright. "You're not even worth my blade, boy. Here's back your bag. You are luckily these recent events haven't taken my sense of humor, pup." He growled, tossing the bag at the youth's feet, and simply walked away. Kind of relieved he didn't eviserate the novice, but a large portion of himself was disappointed. He is not worth his time, the Kaidon have to learn of the recent events and his intents. Hopefully his uncle approves.

Sino's body convulsed--and then blood began to run through his mandibles. His hearts skipped a beat.

In his walk, Til was leaving the forest when he was approached by Sufang. "Hello, Sufang." Til said, his voice different now, more deep. "Er, hello...Til. I saw what happened. I could get rid of the fool for you." The Kig-yar said. The Major Domo crossed his arms and grunted. "Don't worry about the fool. Should contact someone to get him." Til said before leaving. Sufang clicked his tongue before accessing his comlink to call for security to pick the unconscious sangheili up.

Major Domo Pharak 'Nekobee
Overall, it wasn't a good day for anybody. Not even those promoted.
Pharak had recently been promoted from a Minor to a Major, and set in charge of security for one of the decks of the massive Assault Carrier. He had been forced to knuckle down on illicit slacking, lack of vigilance, theft of food, and the general mayhem his less responsible superior had left behind.
Now he had a Sangheili that looked like he had been hit in the head by a Mgalekgolo. It was amazing what pain did you sometimes--apparently the Minor hadn't noticed the dent in his helmet due to the fact that that side of his head was likely numb. Whoever had hit this Minor was a Sangheili--nothing else could have made the two-thumb imprint on the helmet--and that Sangheili must have really had it for him.
So, judging by the rage the Sangheili had been hit with...someone had a vendetta against this Sangheili. He could not think who. The Minor in question was Sino 'Baiyonee, and was not exactly the provocative sort.
His security lance currently held a Kig-Yar in question. This individual, named Sufang, was currently being question by his second-in-command, Minor Domo Khurn 'Makhanee. 'Nekobee approached his subordinate.
"This Kig-Yar, the one who called us here. Who is his superior?"
'Makhanee clicked his mandibles in annoyance. "He refuses to speak. And when I ran his name through the datacore, I hit wall after wall of security glyphs. So, his superior was either a Heretic--"
"--or Special Ops. Irritating." 'Nekobee finished. "Why, though? This seems odd...A Special Operator could theoretically have been strong enough to dent that Sangheili's helmet."
"What we have here is, annoyingly enough, an inquiry into a definite assault and battery, and if the Sangheili does not recover, an unwarranted killing."
He placed his hand on the Minor's shoulder. He walked past him, toward the Kig-Yar Sufang.
"Let me talk to him."
'Nekobee approached the Kig-Yar, and knelt down in front of him. "Your superior's identity is currently unknown. Speak, Kig-Yar, or we will be forced to blame this on you, however physically impossible that may be."

Sufang looked at the Major indifferent before replying, "The name is Sufang, Sangheili, and I have already told you everything I know. My superior is not of much concern about the fool, I am quite sure."

Before he could open his mouth to retort, a voice rang through the Arboretum
"Major Domo Pharak 'Nekobee!" The voice said accusingly. Pharak wheeled about, and was confronted by the sight of the Ultra Gharan 'Ontomee, Master of Security.
The Ultra looked, to say the least, infuriated. "Major Domo. Leave off this investigation."
Pharak did his best to be unperturbed. "The Minor who was struck may die. If he does, this becomes an inquiry--"
"I decide what it becomes, Major." The Ultra interjected, saying "Major" as if it was an insult. "And I have decided that if that Minor dies, he was a weak fool anyway. Sometimes it is better to turn a blind eye toward things, lest you turn your good eye toward and have that blinded too."
So saying, the Ultra whipped around and stalked off.
Another one who seeks to turn a blind eye toward issues. Pharak thought.
He sighed. He could not officially follow this investigation.
He waved his hand in dismissal, sending his lance off. Minor 'Makhanee gave him a look, and Pharak nodded in turn.
He leaned in toward the Kig-Yar Sufang. "I may no longer be able to officially find out what happened here, but I am able to find out for my own purposes, am I not?"
"So, tell me. Fear not for the safety of your superior. I simply wish to know."

Sufang kept his eyes to the others till they were out ofhearing distance and crossed his arms. "And what is your all noble purpose, Investigator?" He asked, tapping a talon on his arm. He didn't care about tell who hit the fool, but he worried what Til would do if someone threaten him in his current state of mind.

The Major Domo looked at Sufang pointedly.
"I am simply sick of having Special Operators run amok through this ship. This is not the first time that simple order on this ship has bee disrupted by odd disturbances..."
"And simply put, there is too much tension--too many hints of heresy, to tolerate. I wish to speak with your superior to chasten him--and to ask him why there is currently a Minor with brain bleeding, and possible death or at least brain damage, lying in his quarters in pain, not being given treatment because medicine is heretical."
"I simply wish to know what happened, why it happened, and how I may stop it from happening again!"

Sufang shrugged, "Only thing I know is that the Minor was promptly knocked out, but recovered acting fine until he found my superior's weapon. He picked it up, found, and gave it back to my superior.
After my superior took his blade, the Minor asked who have hit him, referring him to be a Special Operator. My superior joked just to leave the matter alone and tried to walk away, but the Minor didn't take the answer well.
Must have been mocked too much earlier and thrown his trash bag at my superior's back.
Remarkly, my superior didn't gut and hung the idiot then and there, but he 'fainted' before my superior could reach him. SImply leaving it as that, my superior left, we met, and told me to call you to pick the fool up. The brain damage wasn't evident in him until now and know there was no agenda against him.
He was...just in the way of a angry Special Operator. Simple really. As for solving the issue of having brain-damaged Sangheili, maybe putting Unggoy for trash labor. If any get in the way of a angry Special Operator then, no matter. No one will miss a disappeared Gas-sucker anyway."

Pharak 'Nekobee huffed.
"So, apparently, being a Special Operator puts you above the law? Our warriors are meant to enforce the will of the Prophets...not to defy it. And to sow discord on this ship is to defy their law."
"But...I know when I am in over my head. But I would like to know...what could have possible infuriated a Special Operator--those who are meant to be cool, calculating, and the most precise of our soldiers, into a random act of violence? This denotes an instability that must be...contained."

Sufang shrugged, "Something personal no doubt. Let's be lucky that the Minor did not provoke the Special Operator or my superior anymore than he did. As for your 'laws', it is only used to keep things in order as a whole. Kig-yar knows that better than anyone else."

"Sufang." The Major Domo said. "I wish to speak to your superior. Not to you. No offense intended, but I am sure he can speak for himself."
"Simply take me to him. Let him decide."

Sufang looked...blank for a moment before nodding, "Of course, Investigator." He crackled before turning and walking to lead him to his barracks with his commander.
