The running was useless. Ever since the killing of the human's guards he had been running down the hallway, away from Kira. As the coward gradually slowed, the Inquisitor kept his pace not to far from his target. Sure he could easily run up and murder the weakling, but where was the fun in that? Doing this inspired fear in the human, which always made the Sangheili happy. As the man slowed to a shivering stop, the much taller being activated his cloak to see what happened next. All was silent as Kira's foe turned and eyed the entire corridor. For a second the Inquisitor thought he had been noticed, but that worry was lifted from him when the man smiled. What a stupid little weakling! He had actually thought he had been able to outrun a noble Sangheili! An Inquisitor too!
Growing an evil grin, the Covenant warrior suddenly uncloaked. The humans sudden change in expression brought so much joy to the soldier! What fear, what disgust! Kira suddenly went into a full sprint after the man before he suddenly dived into a corridor. The door closed behind the man and the Inquisitor saw another way to add to the fear in the little human's head. As loud as he could without breaking it, the Sangheili slammed his fist's on the door and heard his target screaming from the inside. Laughing, the warrior stopped as he heard an alarm go off. Most of human members of the base were already dead from the rest of the Covenant and Kira, so it wouldn't attract many as he had saw some trying to escape.
Suddenly a loud click came from the door. It opened revealing the stupid human with a large 'shotgun' standing in it, shaking. Though before the smaller figure could do anything, the large soldier kicked the weapon away and threw the human across the room. As the weakling got back up, the Inquisitor used his elbow to slam the man's face as he jumped behind him. Once his target regained his senses, Kira flung the man around. There was a large, frightened scream when the man was face to face with the demonic mask and heard the evil giggling from within. After a few moments the giggling suddenly stopped and not a single move was made from either opponent. Though soon the Sangheili heard footsteps from across the hall, human's coming to help from the alarm, of course. He could tell they were horrified from the sight of the Covenant warrior towering over their ignorant 'master.' Still, not a move was made.
Suddenly, in a flash of blue, Kira activated his energy knive and started wildly stabbing his foe in the face. Screams of pain and utter horror erupted from the gurgling man, blood poured and shot everywhere as the Inquisitor laughed. He laughed and laughed as the knife repeatedly went back and forward to different spots in the human's head, until it was unrecognizable. The Sangheili could hear yelling from the other weaklings around him. A large, evil smile was now upon the tall figure's face as the knife was thrust into the human's eye for the last time. Kira then slowly dragged the weapon from the eye, all the way down to the bottom of the neck causing the head to split in to, mutilated pieces on each shoulder.
As the Inquisitor's other foes started to fire, he deactivated the energy knife and activated his cloak for he could survey the situation. As the ignorant beings randomly fired around the room, hoping to hit Kira he took out Surota. There were only three left, which he had practically expected given the current state of the base from the Covenant's large-scale attack. A loud yell was heard causing the human's to look at the source. Each one had a disgusted look on their face as they discovered one of Surota's blades had entered the stomach of one of the humans. the Inquisitor have a slight giggle, as the now-injured being hadn't even known the scream was his. Deactivating his cloak, the Sangheili swung the other blade of Surota across the room and into the back of one of the weaklings.
It was like Kira could actually FEEL the fear emitting from his foe's as sounds of pain and horror filled the area. He pulled in his arms and with his strength both of the stabbed humans were pulled together. Each of the weaklings blades in their bodies stabbed the other, killing both of them. Though the warrior continued pulling, as more and more blood was emitted from the areas. By the times he was done a large pool of red liquid had formed at the bottom of the two humans. Now only the last remained. The Sangheili dropped Surota in the puddle as he unsheathed his energy sword. His final opponent cowered and screamed as the tall figure strode towards him. The human attempted to raise his shotgun to Kira, but he wasn't able to pull his strength together to do it. What a weak being! The Inqusitor quickly swung his arm forward... leaving the blade a fraction of an inch away from his final target. The man looked into the warrior's eyes and unlike the bravery of facing death a Sangheili would've given, he was greeted with a pleading to live. Kira slowly pushed the blade through his opponent's chest and savored the sound of the gurgling as blood clogged up inside the human. As soon as the body went limp, the sword was deactivated and pulled away by it's user. The Covenant would be happy, the mission was a success.
