The Battle for 343 Guilty Spark

In a temple on a far off planet, 343 guilty spark awaits transportation to High Charity to be studied for it is thought that it contains the secrets to the location of Halo. Two Lances of Elites have been sent to guard the temple until transportation. The alien race of the Militians have been sent take or destroy the Oracle to kill hope for their enemy. Luckily, supprise is one their side. There are three stages to this mission.

1. Outside of the temple makes an excellent defense point which will turn the tide of the battle if it is lost. (The hill are good for hiding behind and as defense and as well as the door enterence)

2. Right outside the control room of the temple there is a large bridge which leads straight to the oracle. (No defense is offered here except hiding behind the door entrence and on the other side of the bridge is hiding behind the control pannel.

3. Inside the room of the oracle will be the last attempt to defend the Oracle if the Militians break throuth the other two. (There is a square room with 2 walls and a door in each wall, in the middle is the powered down oracle)

Mission for Covanent: Defend the Oracle at all cost.

Mission for Militians: Retrive or destroy the Oracle at all cost. If retrieved a transport will be outside waiting for the remaining Militians.

Special: All leaders command twice as many soilders in this mission. The Covanent are not aware of the Militians presence.

High Inquisitor Til 'Muramai

Walking in the temple, Til and his elite bodyguard approached the captured Oracle. Looking at it made his scars burn, the Oracle was taken unceremoniously by the Jiralhanae Chieftain Tartarus from the rightful hands of the honorable Arbiter.

Seeing the holy being hovering seemingly lifelessly in its prison, Til had the deep desire to skewer Tartarus but the Hierarches ordered it this way. Apparently it is corrupted, possibly by the Heretics.

Despite it, he had so many questions...but it was not his place. In this place, he felt something wrong. Something amiss.

But he didn't had much worry. This mission was highly-classified and no one but the High Inquisitors and the Hierarches' closest should know about this.

It never hurts to be prepared, so he had the guards on constant patrol. If they even much as take a break without his command, death is the result.

Curcia Zellzee was in his transport with the rest of his squad landing on the planet. While jumping out he noticed the temple and ordered the 4 soilders that could do it to turn on their cloaking device and to make haste to the temple. As for the other two trooper, they were to stay there and listen to their comms while waiting for the assault. Curcia thought to himself while he was running over to the temple that this would decide the fate of all the Militians in the war over here. If they were to unlock the secrets of the weapons that their ancestors created than the remaining Militians would be doom. Sadly, their ancesstors technology was lost over the years. This would decide the fate of the war.....

Minor Domo Ony 'Fedolee

Ony held his plasma repeaters as he stood at a balcony on the temple, overwatching the world with Vodak.

The awkward silence disturbed Ony, so he spoke, his mandibles strecthing every so often to preform the syllables

"So.. do you think the humans know of our position." Vodak sighed, and then shrugged.

"It is possible, but unlikely."

The Militians noticed approx. 8 guards outside of the door, all four of the Militians stook up behind them and were prepared to Assasinate them, meanwhile, the 2 purple Militians ran to the Temple ducking begind a hill. They were ready to let their presence known...

[Huka]

Til placed his hand on his mask, the mingraines is returning again. The destruction of Halo, the recent assassinations of high officials, the humans' destructive counterattacks. Now the escorting of Halo's Oracle. He sense something is going to make things more complicated.

Minor Domo Ony 'Fedolee

Ony tapped his plasma rifle, and looked around. He wished something would happen to make this more exciting. He looked around intently, pretending that heretic spec ops were coming onto them.

Why he almost saw them in active camo. He chuckled to himself. What a wild imag- wait..... was that real. Oh god...

Ony yelled. "SPEC OPS!" And Vodak ran inside. ran inside. He heard sangheili screams and jumped from the balcony, landing on the forund.

A blue aura emitted from his wrist as two energy knives came from their hiding place. "HOLD OFF TIL!" He charged at the aliens.

Curcia Zellzee killed a minor elite in front of him instantly as well as another one done by a yellow Militian. He heard a shout from above him which caused all of the elites to turn around, not allowing 2 of the Yellow troopers to pull off their assasination. They both pulled out their electrical repeaters and started to shoot everywhere. The purple Militians from over the hill had arrive and one ran into battle with a electrical maching gun while the other one provided cover with the sniper rifle. Curcia noticed that one of the elite had extremely low nerve cell anti-matter biomass and he was easily able to take control of the Elites actions. (Which will now be know by me as elite minor #1) He ordered the elite to fall back and immediatly after he turned around to find out what caused the shouting. He saw an elite comming to him. Curcia crouched down and pulled out his sniper rifle and took careful aim......

Til growled at the memories coming to him, but then one of his warriors, a Justicar rushed to him. "My Lord." He called. Turning gently to him, Til was about to ask what was wrong, a Justicar is a individual of complete discipline, and this kind of behavior was rare.

Then he heard echoes of battle. He have been in battle for all his life and knew it by all senses. Many call his senses supernatural sometime, but it was his hunter instincts. "What is this?" He questioned, more to himself.

"Get the warriors prepared for battle!" He ordered the Justicar, who quickly left to deliver the order.

Seeing the white one take out his weapon, Ony clicked on a plasma grenade, and tossed in front of him. The eruption left the mlititian stunned, and Ony drew closer to him.

At the end of the charge, Ony leaped in the air, letting out a triumphunt roar as he swung his left knife down upon the alien.

Curcia Zellzee relled to the right, away from the temple in the nick of time and quickly stood up. He shot the sniper rifle 3 times a few feat from the elite as he began to walk backwards and hoped to hit something. Than he threw a grenade. As he was falling back he ordered his men to pull back and he ordered them to regroup. Just before reaching the hill one of the Yello troops, Zelia threw a grenade to the group of 6 enemies.

Til remained with his eyes to the Oracle, his arms behind his back, thinking about these intruders. Due to the fact his warriors didn't know they would arrive, immediately alarmed him that the information he have been getting lately was true.

Just then, a Minor alarmed him of the threat. Something burned in his mind. Growling, he replied, "I know this, fool. I know everything here."

Flicking a hand, a basket-hilted energy sword flipped in his empty hand, and he spun around, grabbed the Sangheili by the shoulder, and impaled him in the chest.

Gasping, the Minor's eyes cleared, and pain registered in them. "Your mind was weak and that is your foolishness." He said before twisting his blade, killing him, and pushed the body aside.

His guards, dressed in the traditional armor of Muram and armed with energy staves, looked at him, waiting on orders.

"We will protect the Oracle no matter the cost." He said with the clarity of a Ascetic.

5 Militians charged to the troops outside ane began to shoot and the enemy already weakened because of the grenade. One of the Yellow Militians drew his energy bracelets and slashed 2 elite almost instantly, but got stuck by a grenade. "I DIE WITH HONOR!" He shouted as he ran to the elites. The other Militians began to take a few steps back while still firing. Sadly, the stuck Militian was not able to reach his destination and only killed 2 elites and drained one of their shields. The last one was finished of with the sniper rifle. There were a total of 4 elites left to slay...

Til looked at the body of his former soldier with disgust, he is ready to show these intruders who they face. The Swordsmen of Suban is not easy to manipulate and their combat prowess is almost as legendary as his.

They still had their camouflages and they will wait till it is time to strike.

"Let's do this, alien scum!" Ony regrouped with the rest of his men. "I will fight until my last breath, as long as you burn with me!"

Clenching his fists, his energy knives flashed in the sunlight. Ony's eyes bruned with determination.

To finish his little speech, he let a roar of defiance, showing the intruders he meant busieness.

Colez Bane heard something from over the hill. It seemed that they were regrouping, that was bad for them.Colez and Suine (Both yellow) cloaked and was going around, at the same time both Purple Militians oppened fire on their enemy. This quick attack would hopefully work. Zion Trrixa aimed her sniper rifle at the soilder that had shouted and fire 5 shots at the alien scum. Curcia Zellzee had almost arrived at his target...
