I had a dream last night, and so because i'm, well, me, i'm going to RP it. These are all me or people I actually know...long story, but names are changed
And no, this hasn't actually happened....yet

Edinburgh in February was cold. Seriously, utterly, cold. Nearing the freezing mark, which in a city that rained so much, was not a good thing. Kuran was nursing a cup of coffee in his hands, trying to warm up. It was cold even in the Starbucks that he was sitting in, watching people hurry along the semi-frozen ground to get wherever they were going outside. He enjoyed this part of his morning routine. Coffee, working on his laptop within the warmth of the coffee shop.
Somewhat more enjoyable was who he had to drink with. Sitting across the table was Sarah, who had been his friend for the better part of eight years. They'd gone to High School together. Had even had a relationship at one time, though he had moved away, more or less forcing an end to it. Despite that, they still cared for each other immensely.
Which was, in fact, why he was here this morning. With his back to a wall so that nobody could see what he was doing, he was tapping away at his laptop, barely hiding a smile. She hadn't done nearly as well, unable to keep a grin from her face.
Jacob was sitting on the other side of the Starbucks, though he was unaware that Kuran and Sarah were present. Which was good, given what was planned. Jacob had, until recently, been Sarah's boyfriend. Right up until he had chosen to smack her around. Kuran, being himself, had responded when he had found out by smacking
him around. Sarah had had a black eye for a few days. Jacob had had two black eyes for several weeks. One would think that the silly fool had learned his lesson. Apparently not.
He had shown up at Sarah's house several night's later, and if Kuran hadn't been there already (movie night was a tradition), she would likely have gotten worse. The end of that night had been Jacob being forcibly removed from the building in handcuffs by two police officers.
And yet, being the practical people that they were, Kuran and Sarah had decided that a more public punishment would work. And so, Kuran had spent several hours in a recording studio the night before, and they were here this morning.
He typed on the laptop for a few moments, and waved for Sarah to listen. He held up a finger, waiting....and across the room, the phone in Jacob's pocket abruptly went off. Loudly. The tune that played was recognizable by anyone in their generation (The three of them were all between 19 and 21). But the lyrics were not.
My name is Jacob,
I have a small pen*s.The noise of the coffee shop abruptly died, the only sound that could be heard was Jacob's phone. Indeed, the man himself, black eyes and all, froze in shock.
I overcompensate
by hitting women.Jacob reached into his coat, fumbling madly for the phone. Kuran had to hide behind his laptop as the shop erupted in laughter. Sarah was actually crying with laughter.
Tell me why
I am a mass-ive drop pod
Tell my why
I've got a huge egoThe poor bastard was trying to turn his phone off as the song blared. Kuran simply laughed harder. The phone had been locked, courtesy of his not inconsiderable skills with a computer.
I have
I have
I have
I haaaaave
....
STD'sThe rest of the song, and there were several verses, were inaudible due to the laughter of the patrons and the fact that Jacob had run for the door, stuffing his phone back into his pocket in an attempt to stifle the noise.
Kuran could only laugh. It had been a good day.
